"R2L is located on the 37th floor of 2 Liberty Place and it’s one of the best places in town to enjoy a drink with a view. They serve food too, but you’re really here for the sunset and to spend a little more than you would on the ground floor on drinks." - Jordan Price

Absolutely amazing service! Amazing food! Amazing view! Amazing drinks! I truly believe my first experience here was awesome... the steak was cooked just how i wanted. My fiance's pork chop was cooked to perfection. We dont really do much desert but we did here and "WOW". We were not rushed one bit. I will definitely be back

First class treatment from start to finish! The cocktails were absolutely delicious and well balanced and the food was fresh and all in line with the season. The view was absolutely spectacular as well. Overall a great dining experience that you should try for yourself.

Loved the experience! The food was top notch. I had salmon with broccoli in a lemon butter sauce. The dish was seasoned perfect and needed nothing else. The server(S) were very attentive and informative. They checked in just enough to address needs but not enough to be invasive. Even with the busy crowds, you were able to still enjoy the company of your party without being distracted by other patrons. Our reservation were for a "sunset" time and the view was amazing. The only down side for me was that the entrance was a bit too dark. When the elevator door opened; it felt like the lights were off and we were immediately immersed into candlelight. Took a little while for my eyes to adjust to the sudden change. R2L is worth the drive for almost any occasion. Would definitely recommend for romantic dinners and anniversaries.

The view alone is fantastic and worthy of 5 stars. The restaurant is large with very comfortable seating. Good for a nice dinner. Prepare your mouth for a sweet and savory explosion with the rabbit dish. Risotto was also very tasty. The waitress was appropriately friendly and attentive. I may visit again to enjoy the large bar area.

I have dined here four times and each time it was a very enjoyable experience. My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. I mentioned this when I made the reservations and of course they surprised us with a free little cake that says Happy Anniversary. The food is and has always been excellent. If you are lucky enough to get a window seat you will love it especially if you are seated just before sunset. But even if you are not directly against a window you can still take advantage of the amazing view.

R2L has one of the best views of Philadelphia, so the ambiance hits the spot. My waitress was amazing and very prompt. However, the food can be a hit or a miss, especially while considering the price range. I went with a party of six, so we ordered all of the recommended items and almost all the desserts. We started off with 'Chopped' as our appetizer, and it tasted absolutely delectable. Then we got four entrees. The salmon was scrumptious, and so was the Redfish and scallops. The duck was extremely overcooked, and we got maybe half a duck breast, which was disappointing. But the Cassoulet with the Navy beans was absolutely scrumptious. My vegetarian friend ordered the Vegan roasted maitake with oyster mushrooms, which he liked. I do think that the price range is a bit high since the dishes didn't feel too inspired on my palette. All the desserts that we got were pretty good. I especially liked the lemon-coconut sorbet, which had a subtle hint of mint, and the Chocolate Tart. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're going catching up with people because the ambiance is fantastic. However, the entrees could use a bit more work.

Great food and drinks, and impeccable, sincere service. And of course AWESOME views. But what really made our 22nd wedding anniversary dinner so fantastic was our server Caroline. She had a wonderful balance of professional and personable, and a very helpful knowledge of the menu. Thanks to all the staff as well. (I don't give 5 stars very readily).

Daniel Stern and his team are the real deal! My wife took me for my birthday and each course came out beautifully prepared, perfectly cooked and truly delicious. The food is art and the atmosphere is chill yet sophisticated. Philly Fine dinning not to be missed!
