How Parker McCollum Partnered With Raising Cane’s | Eater Dallas

"I see the chain as a curious blend of hometown nostalgia and celebrity cachet: its simple chicken menu and unique Cane’s sauce have inspired lifelong fans like Parker McCollum—who says he’s been ordering the box combo with no slaw, extra toast, and double extra sauce since high school after first seeing a Raising Cane’s in The Woodlands—and even prompted playful tie-ins such as Snoop Dogg working a drive-thru and Koe Wetzel joining the stunt. The brand’s collaborations have scaled from chuckle-worthy moments to more extravagant moves, like Post Malone getting a pink Raising Cane’s storefront built near his Utah home. Owner Todd Graves, a huge music fan, fosters organic relationships—hosting artists at the original Cane’s in Baton Rouge, inviting them to his house (and Snoop into his treehouse), and letting artists shape partnerships rather than forcing the brand on them—which helps position Cane’s as authentic and cool while remaining family-friendly. McCollum, who had only done two brand deals prior, stresses he only partners with products he truly loves—saying he “really, really loves” the chicken—and the company’s approach to collaborations is already reshaping how brands work with musicians." - Courtney E. My food is horrible and I’m truly not happy about it. I was starving and craving canes but this is pure disappointment. The fries taste as if they were doubled dipped in grease and the chicken is greasy and soggy as if they were under a bunch of chicken soaked in grease or doubled dipped as well. I had intentions on eating it but my disgust overpowered my hunger. Like look at the picture that is very disappointing as hungry as i am i threw it away and decided on a sandwich from home.

The cashier and servers we great, very knowledgeable about the menu and their duties. No order mistakes were made. Our orders were all hot and freshly cooked. We dined outdoors on the patio, which was the perfect place for our dog. The restrooms were clean.

This is the location in Plaquemines LA. The young man who took our order was very knowledgeable and understanding, helping us to tailor our order to accommodate our nutritional needs. He even assisted with bringing our order to the table. When we were leaving, a young lady came out from the counter and held the door for us-husband uses a walker - and thanked us for his military service. A credit to the franchise!

First time trying this place. It was ok. No complaints. There is nothing special about this place or food. But I gave it 5 stars anyway. The little side sauce was the best part, whatever it was.

I went through the drive-thru and the girl taking my order was awesome. It was my first time at Raising Cane's and she made great suggestions and was really nice. The food was good. It's fast food so not gonna rock your world, but food something quick and not pretty good flavor. Raising Cane's beats out the competition.

Well unlike Ruth in the previous post, I love the music! It was a great mashup of different songs that are chill and upbeat! I mean you’re there for the great chicken , Texas toast with a side of Cole slaw and the amazzzzing Canes sauce Ruth, it’s not a club😄😄. The girl who helped me was so funny and awesome, and also a hard worker! I think her name was CeAnna. The whole crew was very friendly and professional! And the music , like I said, was great! Don’t change the music 😄😊

Yelp
We're happy to have Raising Cane's on the Westside! Every time we've been, service has been pretty quick (even with a basketball team there at the same time), and our food has come out hot and fresh. The drive-through has also been pretty efficient when we've used that option. We'll keep coming back!

Yelp
New location on the Westside! Cute, cozy location near Walmart, Starbucks, Marble Slab, and The Jambalaya Shop. This location is tiny but it's nice. I went the first week they opened. There were plenty of workers. My extra crispy chicken was good. My fries could have been better. There were a few soggy ones. My daughter had the chicken sandwich, her tenders could've been fried more. We decided to dine in. They are still working out a few kinks but overall good job opening week. I'll give it time before I visit again. There were officers directing the traffic flow so things moved smoothly. Glad to have them on the Westside!!

Yelp
The Port Allen,la. Location. I went thru the drive thru on Sunday July 2. I did not realize till I got home. The dr. Pepper was light colored and taste like chemicals. The fries were ice cold. The chicken was like rubber. I had to throw everything away. A waste of over $25. Never again. Do better Raising Canes.

Yelp
Well didn't take long for canes to be ruined on the west side. So different from the friendly BR location. Workers were hanging out with friends outside and didn't even bother speaking when they gave us our food.

Yelp
Always missing items that I pay for. Extra sauce, extra toast, etc. It happens at a much higher rate here than it does compared to most places.

Yelp
Awesome! Great food and friendly service. April is awesome. Highly recommend, great addition to the west side.
