The 16 Best Ramen Shops in Houston - Eater Houston

"Not to be confused with Jinya Ramen, Ramen Jin on Westheimer guarantees springy noodles and warm bowls of ramen served with tonkotsu, shoyu, a vegetarian soy broth, and miso in spicy and regular heat levels. Be sure to save enough room to feast on the six-flavor mochi platter when all the noodles are gone." - Brittany Britto Garley

Edit: please ignore the review by Viki W I am 90% sure that bowl isn't even from ramen jin as I can't find any photos of a white bowl with TOKYO on it in ANY photos, not to mention they don't and haven't sold raw fish in the last 3 years? Weird!!! Please eat here !!!! Support local!!!!! Edit: 6/10 Went the other day and got the eel don, beef don, ramen and takoyaki. Still perfect for me. Can't wait to be back again soon! Went last night and LOVED my meal. I usually come in for the soy ramen bowl but this time I decided to get the mini eel don and some takoyaki(not pictured)! Loved every bite! The kiosk makes ordering and getting sat a breeze, I appreciate the photos of each dish included on the kiosk. There seems to be a small team working here so there isn't always someone waiting at the til and for how good it is I'm happy to leave them alone!!!! Food magic being made back there!! The unagi was so tender and cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth good!!! Shame to admit I've been in the area for so long and haven't taken advantage of eating a warm meal, made with love, all this time!! Kind staff, smooth ordering and seating, quickly delivered food, clean delicious water, and great ambiance! Will be back asap!!!!

Aside from the restaurant itself and the atmosphere, the food honestly wasn’t that great. Don’t get me wrong it’s honestly not bad but I paid almost 40 dollars for 2 people, and we ordered a regular bowl and only added in 1 extra chicken and 1 extra pork on two different bowls. Drink portions are pretty bad 2 dollars for a can of coke is kind of outrageous in my opinion. Sure, it’s not a fast food place and it doesn’t seem like a huge business but I don’t think it’s really worth the price. You can’t really comment on costumer service since you order the food yourself through a kiosk, and pay there, you grab your own table number and they bring the food to you without saying a word, so I can’t really comment on that but, regardless. I think the food is a bit pricey, if you’re looking for a nice meal and a place to hang out with your buddies this is alright, don’t expect the food to be anything amazing, I think if it had more flavor variety and the ramen noodles were a bit more cooked it would be better. Aside from that this place isn’t half bad.

Google
I arrived hopeful and left impressed! I ordered the spicy miso veggie and added garlic flakes. This dish was delicious! Perfect for the fall weather. It’s great place to get a quick bite to eat. Aesthetics of the place and cleanliness got 5 stars. Staff is friendly and food was out quick! You order your food and drinks and pay before you sit with option to tip.

After seeing other people’s comment and photos, and checked with their menuI came back and changed to a 1 🌟 star from a 3 because my ramen 🍜 barely had 3 pieces of meats and no corn or green onion. ————————————————————— Honestly it Tastes like premade ramen that was sitting there for a while. Ramen broth was only luke warm, like is not even hot ♨️ ramen, there were 2 other tables finishing up, not too busy, and was our first time decided to give it try. Our waitress seems to be in a rush, talks really fast, She gave us a super quick rundown of the entire menu, without giving us time to read and asked 3x if we are ready to order. 😳🤯 and Only 1 tiny piece of octopus in the takoyaki. The Poki bowl rice was kinda steal and is definitely not sushi rice, didn’t add rice vinegar either we probably wouldn’t be back almost $80 with 16% tip for lunch and my friend was still hungry afterwards

The people working here are very nice and polite. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with extra noodles, you gotta ask for the spicy powder and "broth" extra boiling hot. Overall the price is good, they haven't really raised the price much (only by around a dollar) since inflation at only $10.90 on August 2023. Self-service style, so tip isn't required. Tonkotsu broth is still consistent and milky, feels like it's missing something tho. However this you can ask for minced garlic and spicy powder to give extra flavor. 💯 Recommend coming back again.

We haven't been here for a minute, but we have been seeing Brian and Molly at their Big Boss Bahn Mi restaurant at Dairy Ashford - Westheimer almost every Friday when the kids do Swim Classes at Goldfish Swim School. Sooo we decided today to come back to Ramen Jin... Still love it and have for years. Ramen Jin has been our family's favorite ramen place for years. I must admit the karaage with the white pepper and gyoza are still wonderful, the tonkotsu is topnotch, but we totally totally miss the Chashu Don!!! Even so, 10 stars...

Google
Overall the food was good compared to the price. Note that the shoyu ramen here doesn’t come with the original clear soup with the color of soy sauce like I usually get from other ramen places. The shoyu broth here is look like the miso broth. The takoyaki is good. Vege ramen was good. The broth was creamy and on the sweet side.

Google
Nice place for ramen! Food is as great and it wasn’t crowded at all. With there was a little bit more decor as the place felt a little drab. Portions are awesome but the ramen was slightly bland. I personally like food on all ranges of flavor, so it was good for me. Great experience overall.

Yelp
I've only had one thing here but that one thing was delicious. Small restaurant in quiet shopping center, not many patrons inside, I've gotten my order to go both times. The staff is sweet and easy to talk to. Both times my order to go was delicious, the broth was still hot after my 15 mins drive home. I really enjoy their garlicky tonkotsu broth. The ramen is perfect for a rainy day, to go order.
google avatar

Yol O.

Yelp
OH HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN! The tonkatsu that they used to make years ago is just a memory now. They don't even put corn in it anymore even tho the website says it supposed to come with it. The broth is peppery and salty. NOT CREAMY AT ALL LIKE IT USED TO BE. Never coming back. So disappointing. The search continues.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Service was definitely appreciated First time here and didn't know how to order I figured it out pretty quickly but the service worker was there along the way to provide a helping hand. I absolutely love the ambiance I have no idea why this place only has 3.5 stars. It's a 5 in my book! I'll definitely be coming back for lunch again and I highly recommend this spot! Great ramen

Yelp
Came here for a quick lunch and enjoyed the no-frills approach. You order at the front cashier and then the food comes out (pretty fast, no issues for us there). The cashier was super friendly and welcoming! We ordered the edamame, seaweed salad, and tonkotsu ramens. Everything arrived piping hot, cooked to order. The ramen had a nice, deep flavor and was a perfect portion. Easy parking as it is located in a strip center.

Yelp
Grabbed lunch here on an early Sunday afternoon before shopping at Daiso and the restaurant was deserted inside. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and my partner got the gyudon and chicken karaage. Tonkotsu ramen: My concern with most tonkotsu ramen I've tried is that it is usually too salty for me but fortunately, this one was not too overwhelmingly salty. The noodles had a nice, chewy texture, the ramen egg was flavorful, the chashu was fatty and tender and the broth was rich and smooth. - 5/5 Chicken karaage: The portion size seemed a bit small for the price. The chicken was juicy and flavorful but too salty for my taste. - 4/5 The staff was kind and patient as we looked over the menu and our food came out quickly. If I'm in the area again I'd love to stop by to try their miso or shoyu ramen.

Yelp
Good ramen but I've had better ramen than here! I tried the veggie ramen 6/10 The service is okay and the location is cute
google avatar

Yelp
Fast service, nice employees, fairly simple menu. Broth of the tonkotsu ramen was great and the pork meat was very tender falling apart very easily. Good amount of ramen noodles and the egg was cooked with a nice soft yolk.

Yelp
Ramen Jin is tucked inside a little shopping center with plenty of parking. The Houston weather turned drizzly, so I got a ramen craving and popped in on a whim. There seem to have been a good amount of diners judging by the number of uncleared bowls on the tables. This is an order-at-the-counter restaurant, so I'm, not sure how they didn't have the staff to clear away the dirty dishes. Especially since it really limited our seating options. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy. The cashier was able to tell me the toppings that come with the tonkotsu ramen (chasu, wood ear mushrooms, scallions, and a ramen egg). I would have loved more included toppings or at least listed prices on the additional topping options rather than "prices vary". I felt very full after finishing almost my entire bowl, so I definitely didn't *need* the extra toppings. I think my jaw dropped after my first sip of the tonkotsu broth - I'm amazed at how rich and flavorful it was. I almost exclusively order tonkotsu whenever I visit ramen restaurants, so I was happily surprised.

Yelp
The Gyudon here is the best. Hands down best I've ever had. It hits every time .I wish I had the recipe

Yelp
Ramen Jin's tonkotsu ramen was still as good as I remembered it to be. We were on our way home and got tonkotsu ramen to go for dinner. The broth was separated from the noodles and toppings, as it should be. We brought it home and it was delicious. The broth was creamy and brimming with pork flavor. The chashu pieces were melt in your mouth good. The ajitama egg was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The noodles and veggies had the right texture as well. The surprising thing is that Ramen Jin has kept their ramen prices reasonable compared to other ramen spots, without compromising portion sizes. So, I appreciated this. If you haven't tried their tonkotsu ramen, go try it out now. This ramen alone is worth it, IMO.

Yelp
I have been to this location more times than I can remember for the last year and every visit I have never been let down by John and the food. The food is always flavorful with the Tonkatsu ramen being my favorite, the rich seasoning in the broth, the tenderness of the meat is always sublime and I never tire of it. John is always pleasant and I am always pleased with my experience when I see him, the atmosphere is really casual and I love it. 5/5

Kris C.

Yelp
I do not understand some of the low reviews for this place. I always order the tonkotsu ramen, and it has always been creamy and flavorful. I stopped by today for dinner, and the restaurant was completely empty. It was really sad to see. This place is delicious, and it is not expensive

Yelp
I'm more or a Vietnam Noddle type of guy, so coming in here was a change. The place is small and maybe sits 30 on a busy day. So to stroll in on a weekday maybe the better option. The day I walked in, there were a few tables that had dishes still on tables. Only one other person was in here, so maybe the staff was out to lunch. The trap Asian music was actually fire playing at a mid-low volume. It took me 10 minutes for somebody to help me with ordering(only one staff member was here doing double duty) I ordered the spicy miso with veggie spring rolls. The broth was a nice texture. Not too thick and not an overpowering of the spice. The noodles had snap to them! I loved that! The ground pork and corn made a nice touch to the dish. The veggie rolls were ok. Sweet and Sour sauce makes everything better. Overall, good experience and I will go back again. Although somebody did cleaned up the tables after a while(another employee walked in and made that happen) I feel that the four stars is warranted. This isn't a bad review, just one star missing for cleanliness.
google avatar

Yelp
You have to use finesse and a delicate touch, you can just be ramen away all night and hope for results. Although that has its moments. I'm not a big fan of ramen in general and Houston doesn't really have a good versions of it except maybe Ramen Okidoki and Tamashi (now a chain). This one is not bad and I will give it a generous four for being a little more enjoyable than most, also a little more popular than most, although also a little overpriced - but it is also underrated by some.
google avatar

Sandy M.

Yelp
Noodles were chewy so that was a plus. Miso soup base was bland, limited ingredients (ground pork, green onions, bamboo shoots looked and tasted stale, soft-boiled egg not fresh). The girl at the register gave me a "WTH" face when I asked if chicken was an option.

Adrian P.

Yelp
the best ramen I've ever tasted. A kind service and good location. I like the rustic decoration of the place.
google avatar

Mauricio T.

Yelp
The ambience in this restaurant is very low-key, modern Japanese. The chicken karage was seasoned beautifully and juicy. The Tonkotsu ramen was hearty, plentiful, and delicious.
google avatar

Ese U.

Yelp
No other place in Houston can compare to their tonkotsu ramen. The owner is super sweet and the decor and vibe of the restaurant is soothing. In my opinion it's more relaxing to come in the evening/at night when it's all quiet.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place. My daughter decided she wanted ramen for her birthday and had just come her with my husband a couple of weeks prior, so we reached out to the manager about reserving a table for 10 for her special day. John was so accommodating - he made our reservation, told us we could bring in our homemade dessert and wine if we wanted (so we did.) He was very patient and showed us photos of all the menu items as some people in our party hadn't eaten ramen before. Our order was large and complicated, but he made sure we got everything we wanted and was so kind the entire time. The food was incredible. (Be sure to order the fried chicken, the tonkaksu and the gyoza!) He brought out plates and forks for us to use for the cake and even gave us a big kitchen knife from the back so we could cut the cake. We stayed late - past closing - but he never rushed us. He even took photos for us and talked at about his family and kids (since we were there with several kids too). We will absolutely be back. This place, and the manager, is a total gem!

Peter K.

Yelp
Decided on a quick stop after Half Price Books. Tucked away in a shopping center, it's a smaller restaurant, but do not let the size fool you. Ordered the tonkotsu, and it was great! Broth was not salty! Chasu was very tender. The cashier was efficient, pleasant, and helpful.
google avatar

Danni L.

Yelp
Unfortunately, we were not impressed with this place. There's minimum design that makes it seem like the restaurant is unfinished, it felt like I was in someone's garage because of their crude office and exercise equipment. The floor and utensils were a little dirty too. What should have saved this location was its food, which was another miss. I got the $11+ tonkotsu ramen and the broth just tasted like salt water, not much depth or flavor. Only the chashu was decent. Tldr; save yourself the disappointment and drive 10min to Bellaire for better ramen.
google avatar

R. A.

Yelp
This is the best Ramen in the city of Houston and I'd love for everyone to not visit my Ramen place but the Owner and his wonderful family would benefit with a increase in business, they has a warm and wonderful vibe and then you get that steaming bowl of goodness. If you are looking for the best Ramen in Houston make a stop.
google avatar

Kay R.

Yelp
The food and appetizers were delicious!! Everything was super tasty and had amazing flavor. The food is also very filling. The environment is relaxing and just creates an enjoyable environment to talk and enjoy your food. The service was great as well. Super friendly people! :)

Kelsie S.

Yelp
Brussel sprouts slap. Everythjng here slaps. I've been coming here for ~ 7 years and I'm never disappointed. Would strongly recommend
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
I got the Tonkotsu spicy ramen and asked for no green onions. Guy behind the counter could barely understand me. When I received my ramen I noticed a bunch of green onions and no mushrooms. Looks like we both couldn't understand each other. No biggie, then I go to take out the green onions and notice there's a cut rubber band in my ramen. I show the guy and he says " oh yeah" no apology no " oh let me make you another!" I asked if I could get mushrooms so he brings me them and an extra egg. All would have been fine if he had just apologized for the mistake but the fact that he acted unconcerned was a put off. Not cheating on my original ramen place ever again.
google avatar

DeAndrau C.

Yelp
Just wasn't what we were looking for. Restaurant staff was nice and place was clean and empty. But they do things a bit different and don't tell you until after you've ordered. That's the only reason I'm taking away a star.

Taimyshoe N.

Yelp
Food is eh. Owner only cares about money. Quality control is definitely not there. It's just not the ramen you expect.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
First time here. Very simple menu but delicious. We end up ordering 4 orders of the Chicken Karaage for the three kids. It was very crispy and hot with great flavor. We all ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen Hakata style, grill pork, wood ear, scallions, bamboo shoots, corn, 5-minute egg, black garlic oil. Very good. It is order at the window style but they do bring the food to the table, so no table service. But it was pretty good.

A A.

Yelp
Experienced sever food poising from tonkotsu ramen. The taste was decent but not worth this pain! Please avoid this place.
google avatar

Doug V.

Yelp
I love Ramen and this place was good. I got the food to go and that is not always good for Ramen. Overall, it was good and would try again.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Busy day during this business trip and decided that Spicy Miso Ramen was in order to make up for having to skip lunch. Great place to unwind before heading back to the hotel. I very much appreciated that I could add extra elements to the bowl. If you are local, this place ought to be worth it.
google avatar

Karelys D.

Yelp
Muchos tipo de sopa ramen si es lo que te gusta, estilo japonés y buen servicio! Buena hora para ir es el almuerzo!
google avatar

Ritz L.

Yelp
This was my favorite place for Ramen. Even drove 20 min to get there, happily. Until, that day... that day will never be forgotten. Will be lucky if I can ever eat ramen, pork, smoked egg again or anything with a similar smell. Was not pretty. Was explosive and not with happiness. Was worse than the eve we ate fish from a food cart in a foreign country where the streets have no name. Will never go back. It's sad, but true. Consider this a spare of details. Thank me later.

Naomi F.

Yelp
We moved from Los Angeles almost 18 years ago and we miss the food terribly. One particular chain we miss is Yoshinoya. Their gyudon was comfort food and Ramen Jin was just what we needed to fill that void. Ramen Jin's gyudon is sweet and savory. Their rice soaks up the sauce perfectly. The only minor inconvenience is the portion size. We're fat and one plate wasn't enough. Other than that, the staff is really nice!
google avatar

Audrey F.

Yelp
Chicken karaage and Miso ramen were delicious, staff was very friendly. Awesome ramen spot.

Jose-Miguel Y.

Yelp
Intimate, casual restaurant with excellent food and very welcoming staff. We called to see if we could bring a party of 10 to celebrate my daughters birthday. They were very accommodating and provided great service to our party. We really enjoyed the tonkotsu ramen, the gyoza, and the chicken karaage (great spices!). Everything was great. We also love Jinya ramen, but this is a great alternative and also less expensive which is a big plus. John was particularly nice and we appreciated his vibe.
google avatar

Brianna H.

Yelp
I found plastic in my Gyudon Beef bowl. In addition to this, the cashier had a poor attitude overall. Probably just a circumstance of the day but I tried ordering four different things that he said were all sold out. Although I did not appreciate the attitude behind it. I have been here before and had a positive experience but after this I will definitely not be returning. Brought down my whole mood.
google avatar

Greg L.

Yelp
Was cold in Houston (relative statement) so needed a hit noodle bowl for lunch. Found this on yelp near my office so rolled over with my one of my work wives ( I have multiple on my line of work). This work wife can be picky and knows their food. We both ordered tonkotsu. Nice and hot (which is key) and decent kick. All the proper flavors and fixings. I added a 5 min extra egg. I would come back again when I needed a ramen fix.
google avatar

Merlyn M.

Yelp
Was craving for some soup this evening and found this hidden gem near our home serving yummy ramen which easily sufficed for the soup craving I was having! If you're in the Westheimer/Westchase area and craving for some yummy quick Ramen this cute little spot is right off of Westheimer and hard to miss! Their broth to noodles ratio is on point and is super flavorful and can customize it to your liking; as in making it spicy, adding in extra toppings etc. Please don't expect to be wowed like mainstream ramen places, this is a small business and it's cozy environment goes along with their delicious quick and easy Ramen which will satisfy that ramen fix for you! Next time I crave ramen and don't feel like branching out to the city, this is where I will stop and come back to! Oh their Spicy Ramen is my favorite! Definitely get two or three extra spicy sauce if you're like me and really love spicy food!

Jonny H.

Yelp
best ramen in town hands down, quick service and fyeeee ramen. better than jinya fasho best ramen‍‍

Yelp
I had such a lovely experience here. Very quiet place and home-y vibe. The food was wonderful and a reasonable price. Most definitely will be back to try other food items.

Yelp
For ramen, my hubby and I would frequent Tiger Den. However, this place is less than 5 minutes from our house and we finally decided to try it out, out of shear laziness. We tried the tonkotsu and the miso and although my hubs said it wasn't bad, I just wasn't impressed. Ramen has to be awesome in order to impress me. Hubs did, however, enjoy his chashu don. It's very similar to the Vietnamese braised pork belly and egg dish. I just can't come back to pay $5 for a small rice bowl. The gua boa did not impress me either. Honestly the only thing I rather enjoyed was the tempura sweet potato, but that's because I can't resist with the words "fried" and "potato." I had three stars, but I dropped to two because I don't think I will be coming back.

Yelp
Spicy miso: Mine did came out super hot. Broth is delicious! Corn, noodles, ground beef, green onion and broth all together was good. Bamboo shoot tasted weird. 4/5 Tonkontsu: decent broth with sesame oil aftertaste. Chasu is decent not great. It wasn't seasoned well. Egg is good but can be a little more running. 3/5 Takoyaki: piping hot, delicious but very cheap on octopus.. mostly filling and only 4? 4/5 Was a little weird. there was a guy bringing food to the table... he literally came right in front of us refilling the wooden chopsticks. It was just awkward how he was in front of us just stuffing the chopsticks in. Kind of weird having disposable wooden forks all out and open though. Not sure how they got there whether it's clean or dirty. But if you were to wipe that with water it would seep in the wood. That's nasty. At least with plastic chopsticks it cleans off better with a dab of water on paper towel. Overall not bad.
google avatar

Cathy L.

Yelp
Awesome place! The seating is self service so it's good for a more casual ramen dining experience. Spacious place with lots of tables. I had the spicy miso ramen. It was tasty, well cooked noodles, flavorful broth, love the soft boiled egg. Despite being called spicy it actually wasn't spicy at all, so if you like your ramen super spicy I would add some extras to it.
google avatar

Rhea L.

Yelp
Will not really recommend! Sorry! During our visit the staff is not really accommodating and kinda salty.
google avatar

Tonia K.

Yelp
I've been here twice, so I feel like I can give a fair review. I must say that I am totally hooked on Ramen. Who knew it would be so yummy for my tummy? My favorite is the Spicy Miso Ramen. It's not really that spicy, so take my advice and ask them to kick it up a notch for you. You'll thank me later. The basics in your ramen include (but not limited to) ground pork, egg, noodles, scallions, bamboo shoot... I'm sure I'm missing a couple of ingredients but you get the picture. Anyway, you can have any items added as extra. I always get garlic chips, seaweed and egg added. This bowl of ramen makes my heart, and stomach, sing. I also get a side of vegetable spring rolls. Try them and I promise you will not be disappointed. The inside is small yet inviting. The chairs and tables are wooded and not very comfortable. It's like they're saying "eat and run." LOL! Anyway, you place your order, take a number, and the waiter will bring your food to you. Be aware that their drink selection is very small. There are several Asian brand sodas as well as Coke and Sprite. No alcohol is served here. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with both of my visits here, and I promise to return very soon. Mannnn, get over to this place and try this ramen!

Yelp
I was just getting back into town after being away for some time. I've been to Ramen Jin before and knew they could satisfy my cravings for Ramen soup. I also had my mind set on Gyoza. It was 4:00 the place was all mine and my usually place I visit for Spicy Ramen soup is closed from 3:00-6:00. I ordered the veggie spring rolls ($4.5 gets you 3). The texture of the spring rolls is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The rolls are served fried with a tasty house duck sauce. Gyoza was filled with pork and cooked to perfection ($5.5 gets you 6). They come with a yummy nice vinegar soy sauce. I ended my meal with Tonkotsu soup, which is a pork base both with a rich flavor, 1/2 hard boiled seasoned egg (I ordered an extra egg with my meal), green onions, slices of tender pork, Ramen noodles, and other yummy goodness. I love spicy soup, so I ordered a side of chili pasta to bring my soup to a spicy level that just continues to build on a slow heat, but not over powering. The mix of the rich savory both with the spicy chili paste was exactly what my taste buds were craving!!!! I originally planned to get my ordered to go only because I had just got back in town and my fur babies were waiting for me at home. When I placed the ordered, I stated it was to go, but I don't think the gentleman heard me at the time. When he bought out the chili paste, I told him again it was to go, and I was told they don't do ramen to go, in ordered to ensure the quality of the food is at its best. I was so hungry I had no problem staying and enjoying the food as it was meant to be and I glad I did. The food was so good I was able to finish it all. I think this place just became my new ramen noodle stop.

Yelp
If you're looking for basic, original, affordable but good ramen, I highly recommend this place. My favorite is Ramen Ichi but sometimes they're so busy and this is my second option and nearby. My favorite ramen is spicy tonkotsu (you can request any types ramen spicy, on the side or on the bowl). The broth is flavorful, creamy and savory (not thick and salty like Jinya).Tonkotsu comes with cha-shu, scallions, mushroom, and half of 5-minutes egg. Spicy miso comes with ground pork, corn, bamboo, scallions and half of egg. Their egg is perfect, i love it! You also can order vegetarian ramen with veggie miso broth. I love their chicken karage and takoyaki as well. Their takoyaki have 2 different sauce, 1 one them - the white sauce, taste like wasabi and it really hooks me up

Yelp
I was very excited to eat here solely based off my yelp familia! Walked in was greeted immediately & menu was explained given it was my first visit. I ordered Spicy Miso with everything in it very tasty & not to calente. Very big portion of food for about 10 bucks. The ramen was good but not exceptional in flavoring. I'd return back but I won't be raving to return. Furthermore, I would recommend this establishment to you guys when you have time no rush. Ramen is very average or I might've picked the less tasty ramen.

Yelp
I went to ramen jin for their soft opening and was giving it another chance. I like ramen so I've had it at the famous restaurants in LA, Sydney, Hong Kong and now Houston. I have never seen it with ground beef or pork in it. The spicy miso broth was decent. The ground pork was underwhelming and didn't match the other ingredients (corn, bamboo, overly spicy green onions and a bland soft boiled egg).
