"Rancho Bravo, a taco joint across the street from Cal Anderson Park that occupied a former KFC, has closed, according to Capitol Hill Seattle Blog. CHS reports that owner Freddy Rivas “had faced challenges after nearly 15 years of business on E Pine and was in a month to month lease recently that was no longer penciling out with a menu of $5 tacos at the level of quality he wanted to maintain.” A new owner has turned the restaurant into a Mexican restaurant called Teto’s Cantina. The Rancho Bravo in Wallingford is still open." - Meg van Huygen

"“That’s odd…Did I just stumble into a taqueria that looks like a KFC in rural Arkansas?” Yes, you did, but at Rancho Bravo you’ll find decent tacos for less than $5, one of our favorite salads in town, and absolutely nothing weird in the bathroom. Takeout is always fast, and the taquitos are always crunchy. There's also a back patio covered in twinkling string lights if that's an aesthetic that's important to you." - Aimee Rizzo

Love it! Try to go here as many tuesdays as I can with friends that I first discovered it with. Definitely a grunge/urban kind of vibe so if you’re the type to want nice, clean fancy sit down stuff don’t come here. The staff is also so friendly, all smiles. Highly recommend their Birria Tacos, which are super affordable and filling! Thats the other thing, the prices shocked me because they are so cheap compared to other Seattle prices! Great value for money.

Amazing little tacos the sauces tasted great too. The only thing that takes points from this place is the overall amount of grafittti all around. And the parking is paid?

Pretty run down when you go in there, it looks like it used to be a popular restaurant by the size of the dining area. It was fairly dirty and tiles were missing. The food was good for the price. If you're hungry but low on cash this place has a pretty good price range and offer a large amount of food for that price range.

I ordered a Bravo Burrito and Tamales. The burrito was okay and the tamale tasted good. The only issue was the rice used in the burrito was undercooked. It's a good place if you want something low-frill.

To start it off, I didn't get my small guacamole that I ordered and was charged for. But that wasn't the real issue. The real issue was taking my first bite of the Rancho Burrito I ordered, with shredded beef, and immediately bit into a giant bay leaf. And thank goodness that happened, because it stopped me from eating a giant fly that obviously had been swimming eith the meat. I've worked as a chef for a long time, and I know just how bad things have to be for flies to be present and swimming in your food. Plus, how could you not have noticed this huge bay leaf in the small burrito? Just carelessness. I will never eat here again and heed caution to those who do.

Ordered a grandes size chicken mole taco, fish taco, and a steak tavo salad. Sat outside on a beautiful day and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Service was fast, friendly, and the food was delicious. 10/10 recommend!

I got the wet burrito - it was okay, I couldn't taste the fillings too much and the sauce was a little overwhelming. I liked the tamale a lot better, if I were to go back I would just order the tamales instead. The interior is ghetto but it adds to the charm of the place. I liked how the service was good as well. Overall, it is a good place for a quick bite.

I like a good dive and I'm not picky about atmosphere. But the filth, grime, and general disrepair of this place is disgusting. I can't believe the health department doesn't intervene. I'm generously adding one star for the outdoor patio area which was just a normal level of dirty.
