"This Sherwood farm is known for its house-made ice cream and take-and-bake pies, but it’s also a tried-and-true spot for apple cider doughnuts, fried each morning and throughout the day during the busy season. Unlike many spots around the state, Red Berry’s apple cider doughnuts are available year-round, with a few seasonal rotating flavors available as well, like cinnamon-sugar-coated pumpkin doughnuts in the fall. For those looking for something cool on an unseasonably warm day, doughnuts also top things like pumpkin milkshakes and apple cider floats." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Yelp
I stopped by Sunday looking for hummingbird bird type flowers they had nothing at time but said they have it brought up Monday I stopped by Monday and they had brought in some beautiful hanging baskets Hummingbird Friendly lol I bought it and took it home Hung it and within like 2 minutes (not kidding !) hummingbird bird came buzzing in. It is officially hummingbird approved ! And it looks great ! Super service and great price !!! Thank you

Yelp
The cutest little nursery with an amazing gift shop and sweet treats. A beautiful May day to look at some hanging baskets. I didn't necessarily need to buy anything today but a good distraction to see what they had to offer. Their selection was nice, sun loving and shade plants in a variety of colors and sizes. The pricing was in line with most other nurseries. I will go back when I'm ready to pull the trigger on plant purchases.

Yelp
My husband, son, and I drove past Red Berry Barn about 2 weeks ago while they had their fall festival, and we decided to stop. I'm so glad that we did because we created some of the best memories here! The employee that we ordered from showed us around a little and was very nice. We went on a Wednesday at 11am, so entry for adults was cheaper, $14 each I think. Kids under 1 are free. Our son is a little over a year old, but he still enjoyed trying to walk on the jump pad, being pushed on the scooters, exploring the pumpkins, and petting the goats and calf. He watched us and older kids jumping on the jump pad and was able to begin learning to jump. It's great seeing him interact and laugh as he was learning. My husband and I tried the hot apple cider, mini pumpkin pie, and pumpkin donut. All of the items were fresh, delicious, and served at a good temperature. Rating from F to A+++, it gets an A+++!!

Yelp
We're not used to the mainland US seasons living in Hawaii, so we decided to make it special for our 5 and 9 year old girls with a visit to this awesome pumpkin patch! We went on a weekday to snag the lower price, and ended up splurging on the $18 admission pass for the full experience: a variety of fun activities galore! Bounce houses: No germ worries in the cool weather, and it was blissfully uncrowded. Mega slides: Only my 5-year-old dared to conquer them, and she had a blast! Play structure: Swinging fun for the win! Tube slides: Rain or shine, it's a wild ride! Be prepared for some muddy laughs if it's wet! Wiggly carts: Even the grown-ups got a taste of the wiggly action! Zip lines: A total highlight! Kids and adults alike went zipping back for more. I admit, I had a slight hiccup with jumping on this, but who cares when you're having this much fun? The photo ops and pumpkin patch were next-level - seriously, beats any other pumpkin patch we've hit up! Corn maze: Rain or not, we rode that maze twice! Bonus points for passing those adorable mini Christmas trees! Hot chocolate and treats? They nailed the Fall vibe - it was the cherry on top of an already fantastic visit! What a blast we had at this place!

Yelp
I drive by here everyday. I've been meaning to stop in and finally did it. I've been missing out on this gem! Honey, wine, syrups, coffee, hot sauce, fresh baked pies/doughnuts, ice cream .... I think you get the picture. It's kind of a one stop shop for goodies and outdoor flowers. They have seating outside for snacking on all the goodies. A beautiful selection of porch flowers and hanging and ground pots. I wanted to buy everything. This place left a lasting impression for me. It smelled so good when I walked in, it's clean, warm and welcoming. It was a treat finding they had American made items. This trip I tried the doughnuts, bought some chicken pot pie, 2 bottles of wine and some syrup. I'm making this place a regular stop!

Yelp
The cutest little pumpkin patch/ market! It's right off the 99W highway, so it's really easy to get to. I only checked out the market since I wanted to try the popular apple cider donuts. The donuts were fresh, so they were nice and warm. Incredibly moist and had such a wonderful apple flavor, perfect for the autumn time! I hear they have these donuts year round and seasonal flavors on rotation. The seasonal flavor is pumpkin and it was a bit heavier than the the apple cider ones but still tasty. Highly recommend for any donut lover!

Yelp
Overall, this is a cutesy, kind of touristy place which is fun to look around for awhile but if you have some time to kill while in the area or want something as a gift for friends while visiting. I had wanted to stop by and get plenty of fresh berries as I don't have that option in the dessert. It was unfortunate for me then to come at the wrong time of the year...a time when only strawberries were in season. Now, don't get me wrong, the strawberries I got were the most flavorful, juicy strawberries I have ever eaten (I've never had juice run down my arm from a strawberry before), I just wish there were other berries that II couldn't get elsewhere, there. Not the fault of Red Berry Farm at all but still, there wasn't much else I wanted after browsing.

Yelp
Leaving this review because after taking our toddlers there we learned a lot and I wish I had read a review like this. So review for moms: We took a 22 month old and a 2 year+ 8 month old. It was hot only like 70 something degrees but it felt hotter. Most activities in the direct sun, a giant covered area but even though it'd open it's hot in there. We went early on a Sunday and it was still pretty busy but there's so much to do that it spaces things out. The kids loved the bounce pads but the bounce houses were a bit too much for them at their age. Older kids were going crazy and trampling over them, so we didn't do that. The little cars were fun the 22 month old couldn't quite figure it out but I pushed him on one and was able to squeeze myself (5'10" 200lbs) and him onto one and ride around. My legs very squished though. Same with the little train there's not really any regulating it, I didn't trust him to go alone, no seat belts and thought they'd be afraid so I squished In and held him on my lap and the 2.5 year old sat in the one behind me and she did fine. Prob having me there, depending in your kids temperament they'd be fine alone. But no again seat belts so keep that in mind. They wanted to go twice on that so it was a win and right next to it you can feed and pet the animals. Goats and a small furry highland cow the cutest of the cows. They loved that. The biggest disappointment was the giant slide- apparently you can't hold them on your lap. For some reason, I definitely thought that you could, and was one of the main reasons I wanted to go and my kid didn't even get to go on it because I absolutely did not trust him to go alone. He's too young and the fact that they would even let a kid that young go alone was a little weird. The 2.5 year old went alone and I think it was so fast with just her weight she was terrified and very upset after. So I def didn't risk it with the younger one. The store was sooo cute the donuts amazing and delicious and the cider slushy was soo good! Amazing photo ops! So many places fwe got some great shots. We did not get food since we had tired young babies and we were hot and the line was long. I really wanted to try the pizza. We hit up Carl's Jr on the way home and I think it was their favorite thing of the day of course. I would 100% go again, I would know what to expect and what to do and not do. I would go on a cloudy day under 70 degrees. We had to drive 90 minutes to get here which was also hard on the kids to wake up and go in the car right away. I'd go after nap next time on a weekday if possible so it wouldn't be so busy and let them nap on the way up instead of the way home. We would probably also bring the husbands so they could play with kids while we did girly shopping and snacking and take photos and then swap. Especially for my son he loves playing with dad and laughs even more when they are together so I think they'd have been more fun. (Turns out my kid was also teething this trip so not a true test) but even though that he had fun and loved the bounce pads and the donuts the most. I think kids aged 3 and up could really benefit from all activities but still fine for any kids 2 and up. Hope this helps!

Kellie S.

Yelp
Just went there with my kids and husband, it is a big place for kids to run around and have different activities to play with. No Hayrides on weekdays, what's a pumpkin patch without a hayride? Also to charge adults admission to stand and watch your kids play is absurd! We plan on going to Sauvies later this week where they don't charge everyone in the party to enter when it's mostly kids who are playing! Not worth the hype, would definitely go back if they didn't charge adults and grandparents to get in and sit around to watch their kids and grandkids play.

Mariko K.

Yelp
Having a fresh apple cider donut is soooo good. I also took a frozen strawberry rhubarb pie home. The filling was excellent and the crust was pretty good. Highly recommend stopping by when you're on the way to wine country.

Rita J.

Yelp
Awesome awesome awesome place! The people working here are so friendly! Tons of stuff to do with kids during October season. We did all of the activities with the kiddo as well as tried the apple cider and went through the corn maize. I recommend coming here with your kids or as a couple, it's super full of activities and you get to pick a pumpkin on your way out! :-)

David G.

Yelp
They put up a fence by busy road, which helps with small children. They no longer pre weigh containers you bring. They have multiple size options for you to pre buy & fill (see pict). The end yield is approximately $4.25 per pound for the pre bought container we chose. For one of the only places open Sunday & the safe fence we had a great time.

Joanna G.

Yelp
Love this place - found it on the way scope out tree farms in the fall, and it's now a great go-to for us for frozen meals for this nights yiu just don't want to cook. We always keep a chicken pot pie on hand, and have now tried the lasagna casserole too which is very good. Oh - and don't forget to try the Apple cider donuts -

Yelp
In search of the elusive apple cider donut to pair with nonalcoholic apple cider. It's a thing in California and Michigan but maybe not here I worried. UNTIL this treasure, Red Berry Barn. Six delicious( I wish they were hot but I don't want to sound ungrateful) full size apple cider donuts per bag. THANK YOU, RB2. Beautiful country store with lots of different pumpkin varieties. If you can't find one you love here, it probably doesn't exist. Wide variety of jams, jellies, candy, sauces, and much more. Store-made pies, pastries, and what looked like gelato ( what a texture!) but was ice cream! The friendly, knowledgeable woman behind the counter (I'm looking at you, Wednesday, 9/21, around 2:30) was just an added bonus. Some of the prices were a little high.

Joseph K.

Yelp
Well, had good experience in the past, but the latest was really poor. Very grumpy woman answered the phone. Obviously wanted to be doing something else. Must have more customers than they want, because giving the vibe that they are not to be bothered!

Gabriele F.

Yelp
Save your money! Very disappointing. $8.00 admission for adults to basically buy a pumpkin. No hay rides. No picking your own pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. No fresh apple cider donuts because they just did one bake for their convenience not for the advertised promotion to encourage visitors. They said "no" to everything because they were short staffed. This should have been explained to us when purchasing our tickets. All we ended up doing was buying pumpkins - Only to find out the signs for pumpkin prices were not accurate. Be sure to buy as round of a pumpkin as possible. If you buy a fun squished elongated pumpkin they spin it so it is charged the highest price. Staff unfriendly and unapologetic. We looked forward to this all week and it was a total bust!

Susan B.

Yelp
Ol' country style red barn full of pies, ice cream, Knick knacks, grocery items and berry pickin' and flower baskets during warmer months. Great place to stop for dessert and sit on patio enjoying the porch/patio setting.

Kevin D.

Yelp
Excellent pumpkin patch to bring the kids to. Actual pumpkin patch, barrel train rides, small-medium sized corn maze, play structures, slide mound, bounce pad; ALL of that for $5/ adult and $10/kid. Great barn store as well with pastries food n drinks. And maybe the greatest thing... it's clean and not a muddy mess!

Kelsey F.

Yelp
What a bummer - nothing was as advertised - no hay rides because they didn't have a driver (while multiple staff were just hanging around inside), no pumpkin patch to look at - pumpkins were already harvested... if things are not as advertised, they should offer a discounted admission! Or at least give a heads up that the activities were not available - we paid the full admission just to buy pumpkins and donuts. Additionally, they had pumpkins in labeled bins with the price, but apparently the wrong pumpkins were in that bin (not just one misplaced, but like fifty extra pumpkins in the bin) - they refused to honor the price, and didn't apologize for the confusion. Then when measuring the pumpkins they spin it to be the biggest size, and with wiggle room (this amounts to $2-3 extra per pumpkin). A lot of fall farms make fresh donuts throughout the day - they make all of them in the morning for the whole day. The staff was not friendly at all no welcome and smiles - scowling when we were leaving.

Yelp
I went here about a month ago after stopping by the U Pick Lavender farm that's right up the street. This is such a hidden little gem! They have fresh donuts they make pretty regularly that are super tasty and coated with granulated sugar and they also serve ice cream and make delicious milkshakes! I got a blueberry lavender lemon milkshake (I believe) and it was great! There's also a bunch of non food items for sale inside the store from local businesses which is really cool. Also the plants and flowers that surround the outside of the store are for sale so if you see one you like why not buy it! Make a day trip to pick lavender and stop on buy for some sweet treats

Yelp
I enjoy stopping by for fresh/frozen blackberries. On Thanksgiving week I ordered a couple of pies for a family friend. This farming family is very kind and their pies are yummy! Almost as good as my husbands wink wink.

Jacqueline H.

Yelp
So impressed with this little berry farm. We picked the sweetest and juiciest strawberries at $1.75/lb. So delightful for little ones (and adults) to discover and pick these juicy morsels. Raspberries and Marionberries can also be picked here - as well as blueberries in July. The back of the property has a playground, as well as two bouncy castles on the weekends. Weekend vintage market can also be found here with everything ranging from wine tasting to baby clothes. Inside is hot and iced espresso drinks, fresh as well as frozen take home pies in two sizes. Tillamook ice cream is featured here, and the gift shop has all of the rustic farmhouse decor that is so popular right now. Great place to spend the morning or afternoon with your family!

Andrea L.

Yelp
This is a really cute spot with some delicious goodies. Today was our first time visiting. I love the selection of pies and other eats and gifts. They had a decent selection of pumpkins of various styles right out front (in an adorable display I might add). Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. It was smaller than I thought it would be based on the pics (you never can tell with these things). The only thing that frustrated me was the website was confusing. It made it sound like you had to prepay for tickets to go visit/buy pumpkins, since the pumpkin patch was listed as part of the admission fee. But when we got there they had plenty of pumpkins available at the shop and to be quite honest the pumpkin patch looked picked over and was quite muddy. We prepaid $12.50 we didn't need to spend, because we just wanted to get some pumpkins and go in the shop.

Rachel E.

Yelp
Super cute little farmstand where you can buy locally grown fruits and veggies or even pick your own berries! Pies and other goodies available in the store. Plant/hanging flowers outside. While I saw a few employees, no one offered any assistance otherwise I'd gladly give this adorable spot 5 stars.

Penrlope W.

Yelp
They charge 15 dollars cover charge for every single person who walks through the gate into pumpkin patch , bouncy house , trampoline, little scooters . You are charged even as a adult monitoring your child . I have asked several times . You want to go through that gate ? Buy a arm band . 15 bucks per person . No family discount , senior discount . Also no drinking fountains . After paying your 15 per head to get in , be prepared to fork out more for a glass or bottle of water .No free Dixie cups here for kids . Donuts are good . But this place is extremely expensive.Employees are not friendly , and inpatient with children . It's fun , but bring extra extra snack and money .

Alina B.

Yelp
I love this place! Last year they had an awesome place set up for kids to play in October! And amazing honey !!

Valerie H.

Yelp
We love Red Berry Barn and are so happy they moved just downhill from us a few years ago. We really enjoy the chicken pot pies and homemade ice cream but they have so many yummy things to eat. The country store has adorable gift items and their flower baskets are so lovely! You can also bring the kids to play outdoors and, of course, pick berries when they are ripe! Stop by and take a look!!

Rasch C.

Yelp
Stopped by farm for cider and to let kids play on playground which had been free on previous trips. Turns out, since it's the fall season, they want $34 for two kids to play on playground and bouncy houses. No joke. We initially thought it was $34 including the cider which still would have been crazy. Even the employee seemed apologetic, "parents have to pay too" and "it's the fall season". Not going back. Criminal prices. Like a tourist trap.

John S.

Yelp
Not sure this place deserves 2 stars, but I'll be generous. Place was nearly deserted at 3 PM today. Everything there was way overpriced. "Gourmet" popcorn $9.95. A tiny baking dish 11.99, $2 more than at Bob's Red mill. A 6oz (my guess) honeycomb 24.95. Very few items under $10. And be sure to skip the ice cream. Single scoop priced ok at $4, but it was grainy. My wife tried the pumpkin and threw it out after 1 bite. Mine was Marion berry, and I finished it simply because I can eat about anything. Total waste.

Debra W.

Yelp
This place is truly a treasure! It is adorable in every way. They have amazing flower baskets, fresh pies and donuts, syrups and refreshments. They serve ice cream and coffee. You have the option to pick berries or buy freshly picked berries. The service is friendly and the store is well-kept!

Alison M.

Yelp
I love this place. The owner is one of the Lees (of Lee Farms in Tualatin) so you can get the same great pies and doughnuts here. It is really well merchandised year round. I just went with my 4-H club and there were huge mums, tons of unusual pumpkins (no patch though) and lots of exotic looking gourds. There are basic grocery items like fresh fruits & veggies, some nice looking frozen fruit and apple cider. A must visit especially for the fabulous pies.

A F.

Yelp
So great!! So many great pumpkins to choose from, several bouncy houses all included with admission, and picnic areas for adults and kiddos with a country store for food and drinks...All that without the traffic to/from Portland that comes with other locations :). We'll go back! (Our kids are 9 & 11 years old)

Ian M.

Yelp
We had so much fun picking raspberries, marionberries, and blueberries here. Two dollars a pound. Nice folks and plenty of bakery goods (with berries) in the store.

Rachina P.

Yelp
The best pies in town!!!! You can purchase fresh baked pies or bring home frozen pies to bake at home. Our favorite is the triple berries one.

Camilla M.

Yelp
Went here on 7/3 and had a great experience! We were nervous to be out around people after being inside at home for so long but Red Berry Barn did a great job making us feel safe. All the doors were open to the store letting lots of fresh air in, the bathrooms had touchless paper towel dispensers and trash cans by the doors so you didn't have to touch much with your hands, and there was lots of room among the rows of berries to keep plenty of distance between other families. On top of that, the berries were plentiful, ripe, and delicious.

Anna P.

Yelp
I used to love this place and the gift shop is definitely worth a visit for things like pickled green beans and donuts, but if you are a serious U-picker of berries, I would look for a place that has cheaper prices. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that prices here have gone way up since before Covid, and I couldn't even afford anything in the gift shop after doing U-pick this time. They don't allow you to bring your own containers to pick into. They have an odd system charging a flat price for their containers, not charging by the pounds you pick. So if you buy a 1.5qt box at $10 a pop, you better fill that sucker as full as you can to get a better price per pound. Normally I would pick 10 pounds of berries, but I couldn't even afford the large "flat" box size that they had. So I took two of the 1.5 qt size boxes for $10 each and weighed them when I got home to see what my final price per pound of blueberries was. I had picked under 6 pounds, the price ended up being at least $3.50/lb for blueberries which is crazy expensive and they aren't even certified organic. It's sad, because it is a beautiful field, and I would have bought more from the gift shop, but I'm definitely not coming back here for berries next time.

Paul L.

Yelp
Masterfully done pies, tree ripened fruits, and great coffees makes this place a must see. This is our second visit, and this time was in October, so the pumpkin patch & bounce houses where set up. Great way for yhe children to experience this time of the year. Baked goods are excellent. Recommended!

Laura O.

Yelp
This place is great! Tons of yummy berries, and a sandpit with trucks and shovels for the kids, right by the berries. GENIUS! I love berry picking, but my boys always get bored and whiney. Problem solved! We will definitely be back!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
I used to love this place! It was so fun for kids to go on bounce houses and run around on the play structure, but the prices have become insane! They charge parents $5/person to go in and watch their kids, even if you aren't doing any activities. I'm not going to pay $12 per kid and another $5 for myself so I can sit bored on a hay bail and watch my kid play. Last year I would take my son and a friend to play, buy donuts or ice cream and sometimes something from the cute shop, but after paying so much to go, I no longer want to spend any more money on treats.

Tyler O.

Yelp
What an amazing place! Donuts are delicious, fresh fruits are local and gorgeous. Can't wait to try everything in this place!

Sandi D.

Yelp
Nice little store, good pies and donuts. Pricey and the staff make you feel invisible until you get to check out. Convenient location.

Stacey H.

Yelp
Love this place! Fresh donuts; Marionberry and Apple Cider flavors are delicious. They make excellent fruit pies; including sugar free. We also just brought home one of their savory chicken pot pies and it was great! They have a nice selection of jams, syrups, and honey. We purchased some Tayberry jam which we can't wait to try! We drive from SW WA to come here and will continue to do so!

Sokha S.

Yelp
The worst customer service.......Sometime I hate supporting local business when they lie..... Misleading about products being locally made .... I love the Apple cider doughnut though..... #madeinChina

Daryl S.

Yelp
Great products and service by the 2 girls that were working yesterday !! Great place for local grown products..5 stars Aaron & Erika Wilcott.. may you have a great 2016 & beyond
