14 Restaurants Offering Curbside Pickup in Las Vegas and Henderson

"Chamorro dishes from Guam find a home at Red Rice. Dishes here are made from scratch using recipes handed down from one generation to the next. Red rice is naturally the centerpiece to the dishes, but look for chicken and beef kelaguen, lumpia, shrimp patties, grilled eggplant with coconut milk, and Spam musubi as well as barbecue chicken, pork ribs, and beef with dipping sauces. The Best Cheap Eats In Las Vegas 2024

"The Flamingo’s neon sign has been burned into your retinas because you now see it whenever you close your eyes. It’s time to take a break from the Strip. Make the 20-minute trip to Red Rice in Henderson to see what lies beyond that long stretch of fluorescent road. This Chamorro restaurant serves food from Guam, and the best move is the Hafa Adai plate—essentially their greatest hits all together including BBQ chicken, BBQ spare ribs, red rice, and chicken kelaguen. Then, follow the rule that if you see beignets on any menu, you order them. Theirs come with your choice of either a mango or strawberry drizzle and should not be missed." - edward thompson, gabe bergado

Google
Island vibe with tasty food. We will be back. Got the Hafa Dai plate plus the banana donuts which were so delicious. The staff was extremely friendly as well. Red rice was soooooooo yummy. Brought a bunch of kids here as the place is kid friendly.

Been waiting years to eat here and they did not disappoint! Best Chamorro food I've had in a long time! Really took me back in time to all the family gatherings growing up. Awesome friendly service here too! Thank you guys so much! I wish you had a location in the Reno, NV area. But we will definitely be back everytime we go to Las Vegas!

We ordered Coconut Titiyas, Chicken & Pork rib plates. Titiyas was delicious, Chicken not bad, but the Pork ribs were tough to chew, need to place them in the pressure cooker to tenderize them. + overpriced with little meat served.

My first experience with Guam cuisine and I will definitely be back for more. I’m just a sucker for bbq and charred flavors. Let’s go! First approach looks closed because the outside has a dark covering but of course it’s to block the strong sun from coming through. Once inside the staff is ready to serve you with friendly and exceptional service. Plenty of indoor cool seating to accommodate large groups. The crew made the proper recommendations it being my first time. They introduced me to what tasted like a chicken ceviche. It was cold, citrusy, spicy and loaded with flavor. On the side a soy base cucumber mix to balance the citrus, all complimenting the wonderful flavors of spare ribs and charred chicken…. I’m all in. So thank you for these great flavors. The staff were very informative and engaging. Very welcoming vibes. Definitely will be returning.

Whenever we’re in Vegas, this spot is a must for us. All the way from Texas! We always make it a point to support this place, easily spending $60-$70 on food each visit. I never leave without grabbing a shirt and some stickers to represent Guam, where I lived for four years. We visit Vegas once or twice a year, and this has been one of our go-to spots since 2016 or 2017. At this rate, we’re practically regulars! Like family, except they dont know that. 🤣Great food, great customer service. It's definitely worth the drive and our time. 👌

I ordered the BOGO (buy one, get one free) mix plate special on Uber Eats. When my order arrived, it included only one plate. I immediately called the restaurant. They claimed they only received an order for one mix plate. I pointed out that on Uber Eats, the mix plate is listed as a BOGO special—you cannot order just one. The app automatically applies the deal: you pay for one, and the second is free. The staff admitted they were aware of this, yet still refused to make it right. I also tried contacting Uber Eats, but as usual, their customer service was useless—10 minutes on hold, disconnected, and told to write in. Meanwhile, Chris at the restaurant offered no apology, no accountability, and no solution. Instead, he passed the buck and told me to deal with Uber Eats. They knew they had this promotion. They knew what my order meant. And they could have easily rectified the situation but chose to do nothing. This place clearly doesn’t value its customers. I’ve recommended this spot to countless friends over the years—but I’m done.

Google
Bad service The person was already annoyed and assumed that we knew Guatemalan food; we asked to describe the food, but he was not honest about the dishes, and we ended up eating a cold eggplant salad, which was not a hot meal. The whole food is crap, not even the authentic red rice that I see on my Island. I should have considered the red flag, which indicated that we were the only customers and that the place was quiet. We came and left and didn’t even finish the meal. Please do not waste your money….honestly the rice and chicken are too greasy and dry; there are no vegetables, I don’t understand the five star; do not be fooled: bad service and so bad dishes

My wife and I were told about Red Rice a little over a year ago when we moved from Hawaii and decided to check it out today 1JUN24. I am born and raised on Guam, Chamorro to my very bones despite the 23&Me results. My wife was born in the Philippines, moved to Guam when she was 6 and lived there until we joined the Army in 1998. Pretty sure I dated myself. This does not make us experts, but I'm pretty sure we have a handle on what the F Chamorro food tastes like. After hearing mixed reviews of Red Rice, we were not disappointed; however, like most things it did not live up to the hype as stated by those who made a positive recommendation. I was not overly excited to purchase food I grew up eating and making for the better part of my existence on this big blue ball. But it was a nice day, the Jeep went topless, and we were hungry. We are going back to Red Rice to sample the rest of the menu so, don't come for me in the comments as the kids say or I'll deck you after school at the bus stop. What we ordered: Hafa Adai Plate: The Hafa Adai plate comes with red rice or what's called Spanish rice in some Latin cultures, a bbq spare rib, a bbq chicken thigh, empanada, a side of finadene (dipping sauce) with a single choice of one of six sides if I'm not mistaken. We chose chicken kelaguen, cucumber/diago salad, and eggplant w/coconut milk. Red Rice: Beautiful deep red color (usually means powder achote instead of seeds) not sticky, which is always a plus, with a hint salt, followed by a buttery finish. I could be wrong, Red Rice let me know. I have seen red rice made a bunch of different ways overall, this one was pretty standard. Just one man's opinion, but if a restaurant is named after a dish on the menu, it should be unforgettable making people want to return for that one item. I didn't get that with this rice. BBQ Spare Rib/Chicken Thigh: We are definitely a fan of the bbq. If you have never had the pleasure of Chamorro BBQ, these two proteins are a great window into our food. You will not be disappointed. And if you're not impressed, let me know so I can slap you. Chicken Kelaguen: Good flavor. The meat could have had a better char adding another dimension and depth of flavor. There is a battle in my family about what makes kelaguen, kelaguen. Some say coconut, some say hot pepper. This kelaguen was missing both. I understand the reason behind removing the hot pepper (not everyone likes pika or spicy food) but, no coconut? Come on brown. Empanada: Absolutely phenomenal. Light and crispy outer cornmeal shell, the cream of rice filling was seasoned to perfection with no one ingredient overpowering another. I prefer the filling pika, but that's just me. We will be ordering a dozen of these frozen next time we visit. Egg Plant w/Coconut Milk: I really wanted this to take me back to my grandfather's ranch in the late 80's through late 90's, but sadly it did not. Since we eat with our eyes, visually this was very pleasing. However, it lacked in the flavor department where it counts. If you've never had it and don't know what to expect you might enjoy it. Cucumber/Diago Salad: This one brought me back to my grandma's house in Agafa Gumas. Balanced flavors with just enough spice on the front end to turn your haole friend red. Shout out to whoever made this one. Red Rice Musubi: I like the concept and placation of appeal to others across the pacific, bringing people together through food and what not. I applaud the culinary adaptation/fusion of cultures putting a spin on a local Hawaiian classic. However, the Poly's have this one in the bag. Not a bad idea and it doesn't taste terrible. It's just different, I guess. Finadene: It's a good dipping sauce for those who don't know. An excellent complement to the meat and rice. Yes people, put the sauce on your rice. You're welcome. For those of us who know, bring your own unless you just really enjoy soy sauce with vinegar and onions. Reminded me of the finadene served at KFC on Guam.

Yelp
Tremendous improvement! The vibe feels kind of nice and different in a good way. Red Rice is known for their authentic Chamorro food. You'll find them in Henderson at a strip plaza on Eastern and Serene and there's good parking available, Inside is a casual space with good seating and relaxing music. They offer complimentary cucumber-lemon water. Menu has a nice selection of savory snacks, kelaguen, regular and combo plates, and premium sides, family meals, and desserts including latiya (pronounced latiza, cinnamon custard cake-big seller), mochi donuts, buñelos aga (banana donuts), beignets, and rosketti (Chamorro shortbread cookie) sourced from local vendor. I had a craving for Spam Musubi ($5.16) and also tried their Shrimp Musubi ($6.20) which is really good and quite tasty! It's light yet flavorful, has two crispy shrimps on red rice and furikake, Yum! Service from Tate, Christian, and Janet is welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Everyone in the staff is very kind and pleasant! Price is reasonable, food is comforting, and very delicious! Just a note, there is a 4% surcharge using card.

Yelp
Lil place for a casual lunch or dinner. The workers are really nice. The rice is good!!! Meats esp the ribs were kinda dry :/

Yelp
Omg why did I take so long to eat here? Lol. Ive had red rice, fina dene, & the Chamorro kind Kimchee cucumber from my Chamorro friend from back in Hawaii before. I'm so happy this is only near our place. My brother was visiting and really wanted to try this spot. No regrets! Although it was hella busy this day it was worth it. The octopus kelaguen (not pictured) was fire!!! Definitely eating here again!!!

Yelp
Nice welcoming people and the food hits the spot if you're craving Chamorro food. I usually come here with my friend, she's from Guam. King car Lemon tea is a must, along with a combination plate. You will never go wrong with any of those items. I'm a huge fan of their pickled daikon I can just eat it alone. Don't mind the wait as food is usually prepared fresh to order.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The red rice spam musubi was 10/10. So were the rice empanadas. I love trying new culture's foods so I'm super happy this place is here. I will be back!

Yelp
Hands down one of the best Guamanian food I've had in along time. When I go to a city I try to find Guamanian food. The food takes pretty long to come out but worth the wait. I ordered the Hafa Adai plate and it did not disappoint. It came with red rice, chicken, pork, rib, kelaquen and finedene. Everything was so yummy except meat was warm not hot. The empanada was piping hot. I have a feeling they got everything ready and was just waiting for the empanada to cook so the other items got cold when we received it. Will I come here again? Definitely

Yelp
If you've ever been to a Chamorro BBQ you know the aunties get down! I was pretty excited to try this place today and for the most part it didn't disappoint. The Red Rice was on point. The dark red rice had all the flavors just like a remember and the finadene took my rice to the next level. Green onions soy sauce vinegar I'm drooling just thinking about it. I ordered the chicken kelaguen plate with red rice and a side of cucumber daigo kimchee. The kelaguen was a little dry in my opinion and I don't recall tasting any coconut. If you love pickled veggies the daigo is a must! There was a nice little spice and I love the crunchiness of the radish. I'm sure I'll be back.

Yelp
Cute little Guamanian spot! There aren't too many tables, but my friend and I were able to get one. The 90s music that was playing is totally my vibe! I ordered the hafa adai plate. It did take a while to come out. They said they would comp me a dessert item because of it... but I guess they forgot. Literally everything on my plate was delicious... from the empanada to the red rice, meat, cucumbers, and sauces. They all just go well together and are very flavorful. I thought I'd be able to leave myself some leftovers, but I devoured it. The staff was nice each time I've visited, and this last one was my 3rd time checking it out. If you've never tried Guamanian food, this is a great way to try.

Yelp
Monday 1/13/2025 Another spot I got introduced to by Keith Lees' TikTok content, so you know I had high expectations. Also, I'm not very well versed with different types of food so Guamanian food is completely new to me and my palate. I called for takeout, and the service was good, but even better in person. I got the mix combo plate (cucumber & diago) $22.94 and latiya (cake) $6.22. When it comes to the mix combo plate, it had many different items, but I'd say: the rice was alright, the chicken was good, the rib & shrimp were decent. It came with some sauces: the orange color cream sauce was decent, but the brown soy sauce wasn't enjoyable. The latiya is a dessert derived from their culture and it was my recommended by the person on the phone so I was intrigued to say the least. Unfortunately, my high expectations were not met as it tasted like vanilla pudding with some cinnamon at the top, which didn't do anything for me. In all honesty, I likely wouldn't come back mainly due to the price and the fact that there was an unknown 4% credit charge that I wasn't aware of until later.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years used to be almost every single visit to LV. Literally is a gastronomical experience back to the island of Guam for me. Now we live in LV and Red Rice definitely in our rotation. Highly recommend EVERYTHING it's all delicious. The service is always amazing true mom and pops feel.

Yelp
Even though my foray here into Guamian cuisine wasn't stellar, I'm grateful to have tried it out. Here's my bullet-point rundown: *Locals plate (BBQ chicken, BBQ pork spare rib & Shrimp patties) - 3/5 overall. *Red Rice - stale, boxed rice flavor, except not nearly as good as Ricearoni, disappointing considering it is the namesake foundation of their meals. *BBQ Chicken - teriyaki-style chicken, well marinated. *BBQ Pork Spare Rib - good KBBQ-style marinade but only one puny rib included. *Shrimp Patties - very good but more frozen veggies than shrimp. *Chicken Kelaguen - akin to Hawaiian Lomi Lomi but w/ sour shredded chicken bits. *Hagun Suni (Spinach) - very sour pickled spinach rounded out with a splash of coconut milk. *Eggplant Saibok - sour baba ganoush. *Empanadas - not authentic empanadas, more like deep fried corn tacos w/ more rice than chicken, very strong Frito flavor, grease bombs! 1/5. *Fina denne (condiment) - akin to black vinegar w/ some heat from red pepper flakes. Worth checking out this place if you are a Guamian food fan or want to try something new but it just wasn't exciting or unique enough to put into the rotation.

Yelp
Well, this is nothing more than just an update to the previous one I posted. Nothing has changed, same good food, warm hospitality and the staying power of a small restaurant of an ethnic minority. They are consistent in food quality and it's my hope you continue to patronize this joint, a mom & pop place that is striving to keep its place in a competitive environment. Peace out.

Yelp
The food is authentic! We had ours to go and I wish we had time to dine in. We had the local, hafa adai and mix plate. We also had the lumpias and potato salad. The lumpias were so good. The empanadas were not greasy and perfectly seasoned. The service was good and the ambiance was clean. They are always busy

Yelp
07/27/24 first time here. Greeted and staff was nice. Place is clean. Ordered the bbq pork rib plate with added chicken kilaguen. I would order this again. Pork ribs was nice and charred with good seasoning. My husband ordered the mixed plate (forgot the name) but it consists of bbq pork ribs, bbq chicken, fried shrimp and chicken kilaguen. So much flavors. We love the red rice as well. To wash it down we had the melonade and chamorro punch. Too sweet but just water it down or add extra ice then it's perfect. Desserts we tried the beignets. It was okay. Usually it's fluffy but this was more bready and doughy. Overall, we enjoyed our food and drinks. Will I return.... Definitely! Happy eats!

Yelp
First time trying this place since I was in the area. Food was good and portions were huge. I was able to share the mixed combo plate between 3 of us. The chicken kelaguen was my fave. And I love me some mochi donuts. It wasn't really busy when we came on a weekend. Food took probably about 15-20 minutes to make. I'd come back if I was in the area again.

Yelp
Man what an awesome meal in Vegas. Here for Summer League and wanted a little lunch before a day out. i wanted some ethnic food and suprisingly there's an abundance of asian, central american mediterranean food etc. came in at about 2PM on a saturday and saw there were a couple other people eating inside already. the restaurant is smaller but feels welcoming. the friendly cashier took my order and recommend things to eat. ultimately i went with the bbq chicken plate (with red rice and one side). i ordered the daikon and cucumber side with another side of 3pc lumpia. let's break it down! the red rice was very solid. it was almost like a kimchi fried rice .. but no kimchi in sight? it was very good and paired well with my bbq chicken. the meat was juicy and flavorful and an awesome entree. i really loved the daikon and cucumber side and it's a perfect dish to eat with any meat/rice dish. the lumpia wasn't my fav, but it was freshly fried so i was pleased. my whole meal came out to about $22 which was fine considering the amount of food (did not even come close to finishing) so be ready for a big portion. all food seems to be cooked fresh which means you may wait a few more minutes than expected, but to me, ill wait for home cooked food anyday. really good spot vegas! 5/5

Cedric W.

Yelp
Pretty good, I had the combination meal. I took my order to go. Unfortunately! I should have asked which sauce goes with what. The Chicken and shrimp were pretty good, the Rib was so-so. Red rice was alright, maybe next time I'll eat in and have it fresher out of the kitchen.
google avatar

Kailani C.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me a few times so we finally decided to pick up lunch to go. I was craving some hearty comfort food and that's exactly what we got. The red rice had a little kick to it (I'm a weenie when it comes to spice lol) and it was perfect. The empanadas filled nicely and I loved the crunch. The masubi was one of my boyfriend's favorites and he said it was one of the best he's ever tasted. I really liked the side potato salad, it tasted just like my grandma's! All of the sauces we got were yummy, especially the one that came with the shrimp, we dipped our empanadas in it and yuuuum! The breaded shrimp was basic but still cooked nicely. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the ribsss?! SO SO good! I do with we ordered the coconut titiyas to try with the chicken kelaguen but it was still good on its own, very citrusy! We didn't really care for the cucumber fina'denne' but that's just us. Will definitely be back and hopefully try dessert next time!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was excellent! The ambiance gives a home cooked meal vibe! The service was great! We had the wings, Hafa Adai Plate with empanadas and the fried chicken wings. Everything was on point! I highly recommend going. We go every visit to Vegas!

Yelp
Red Rice is a fantastic place to eat. I've eaten there many times since moving to LV. The food choices are delicious. My favorite is the dried meat with tatiyas and finadene. The place is clean and homely. The staff often walk around to greet people and converse. Very relaxing and friendly. Biba Red Rice!

Yelp
When you think of Island food in Vegas, usually we think aloha kitchen or L&L, but we all need to do ourselves a favor and start thinking of Red Rice when we crave a local or mix plate. The quality of the meats, sides and there staple "Red Rice is phenomenal. The balance of flavors and marinate transport your taste buds to an island in Guam, where you take a bite of the BBQ and watch the sun go down as it stares back at you with their mix plate from Red RIce. My one and only complaint, please try and open one more store near the Summerlin / Valley area. Having to travel all the way to Hendertucky does get a bit annoying, but worth it.

Yelp
Omg. The food is so amazing.the rice itself is what makes the dosch so flavorful and delicious. We ordered the combo with ribs, chicken, and rice. You also get to choose a side. We chose the potateo salad. All the items were delicious and flavorful. They also give you a side of shredded chicken that is amazing with spicy sauce. They combo also comes with an empanada. The spicy sauce tastes like soy sauce with chili. We also ordered 3 spam musubi, banna mochi donuts, and the beignet. For the banana mochi donut with cinamon sugar. Powder sugar and strawberry syrup. For the beignet, we chose strawberry syrup. They also offer mango flavor. The grilled chicken was a hit dry. The ribs were bbq to perfection. But my favorite was the shredded chicken with the spicy soy sauce. The staff are super nice and friendly. They have a waiting area and are also seating if you're doing dine in. The food was so amazing we actually ordered 2 side order of the shredded chicken to bring back to sf. Wish they will open one out in the bay area soon.

Yelp
Even though this place is quite far from me, there's something I always crave and must come back here to. The empanadas!!!! One of my work mates from Guam from years ago brought this empanada at work one time, and since then, I have been hooked and always get the craving for the crunchiness and the deliciousness of these, and when I do, I could not help but drive myself to Henderson to get em!! It's a must! Of course when I go, I end up getting other stuff, I got the fried shrimp Nene plate and the banana donuts, LOVE them!!!!! I wish they would have a location closer to the southwest side of LV!! Service was great!! A highly recommended place and a must have!
google avatar

Yelp
Red rice was catered at a business connect I went to and I can not get the musubi's out of my brain. It's not just the red rice, it's the little bit of seasoning... kimchi? Between rice and musubi and omg idk if I can have musubi elsewhere. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Lumpia was so good. They service was incredibly kind and quick. And they had a cute little set up.

Yelp
Clean space, air is cool, but the BEST part is hearing "Hafa Adai" when you come in! It's as if my own mom and dad cooked all the food themselves! Cannot explain how emotional I got finding not just a CHamoru restaurant but a REALLY GOOD CHamoru restaurant!! Si Yu'os Ma'ase, Bobet and familia, for the welcoming visit and chat. Even having the food in "baluten" (to go) boxes was nostalgic of all the fiestas in my adolescence. If I could order one of each, I would have! Got the BBQ chicken with red rice, chicken kelaguen, cucumber-kimchee salad, cucumber salad, golai hagan Suni (creamer spinach--one of my favorites!!), lumpia, and tatiyas harina! HEAVEN on earth!! No joke. Ended up leaving with Mama Tenorio's guyaria (what we call Chamoru jawbreakers) and so much more. If you live near here, it's worth the drive, and I hope you truly appreciate having this restaurant!! Dankulu na'Si Yu'os Ma'ase, Red Rice, for a little bit of home away from home!!

Yelp
This is a place I'll frequent for chamorro grindz. Everything that was made by auntie in the back is made with love. You can tell. It is sooo good. Red rice, shrimp, finadene, etc were excellent. Inside is cozy. Not a big restaurant, more of an at home feel.

Yelp
This was our first time trying Guam/Guamanian cuisine and just wow! The flavors were spectacular! Every single item was extremely well prepared with bold flavors. The portion sizes were generous. We especially liked the pork spare ribs and the red rice. All the meats were tender and delicious. We got two of the premium sides - the eggplant, which had a nice smoky flavor, and the spinach, which had a really nice flavor reminiscent of a curry. They also gave us a complimentary latiya dessert, which was incredible. Everybody was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be revisiting and would 100% recommend.

Yelp
Overall good food . The red Rice was good But it did take really really long to get our food. I would say it took about 20 min for us to actually get our to go item . My brother enjoyed their pork ribs . My chicken was 7.5/10 . I'm not sure if. I would come back again because although it was good , it was nothing I would actually crave for . It tasted like grilled meat and Spanish red rice .

Yelp
Mood: Run it back! Had to go again- and again did not disappoint. The service was top tier and very homey overall. Food: breaded shrimp platter 10/10 That shrimp was fried to perfection and 10 pieces. Nice big jumbo size. With the yummy Rice and cucumber kimchi DELICIOUS I tried the special hot sauce (authentic) of course and i could only have a pinch. So hot! Beignet 10/10: strawberries and powder with the beignet was so delicious. Freshly made to order.

Yelp
Fresh and yummy! Great Guam food! I was introduced to this spot by a friend. Decided to stop by for lunch and there was no line so didn't have to wait for long. Friendly service too!

Yelp
This was my first time having Guamanian food so I don't have anything to compare it to but just as a standalone experience it was great. I got the locals plate to try a little bit of everything. The ribs and chicken were really good. Ribs were very flavorful and some of the best I've ever had. The chicken had a great char and flavor to it and was juicy and not at all dried out. I typically don't enjoy shrimp patties because they tend to be too greasy and rich but I really liked the ones here! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the chicken kelaguen. I thought it was a bit dry and bland. The fina denne sauce that comes on the side was delicious and I basically put it on everything! Overall this was a really great experience trying a new cuisine and I'll definitely be going back!

Yelp
The food was good. We ordered the hafa adai plate so we can sample a variety of the dishes. We liked the empanada and the bbq chicken.

Yelp
One is not even enough to explain my experience here. I am not familiar with Guatemalan food and I was asking help from the server but the guy gave me an irritated attitude. I still tried to be nice and be understandable but he didn't explain well what we were ordering. We got food that is so disappointing that I could not even finish it. Eat at your own risk

Yelp
I had a take out during the pandemic, and had a combo. The foods were very good! First time I had Guam food so I can't really say about the authencity, but it was delicious. Reminded me of Hawaiian grill, but redder and darker lol
