My wife and I had a very nice meal! Portion sizes are smaller, so I recommend getting an extra app or 2. You could tell the chef great pride in their work. The presentation was excellent! And the food was delicious! The atmosphere put it over the top, we had our own “balcony” and it was a quieter night. So it was very nice! We will be back!

Our appetizer and cocktails were the star of the show here. We had the miso feta brussel sprouts, gf gnocchi, and ribeye filet to eat. For drinks we had Grandad's Favorite Poison (don't love the name, drink was incredible) and the Rhubarb Sour. Both drinks were phenomenal and masterfully made. We celebrated a birthday and were given a complimentary chocolate tart which is vegan and made with tofu which blew us away. The brussel sprouts were really great and had me sopping up the dish with bread. The Ribeye was a little over cooked for medium rare, and was just okay, the potato faux marrow was novel but lacked a ton of flavor, which surprised me with the ground mustard.

Unfortunately, this place really missed the mark. The food was not good at all, bland and disappointing, with portions that were way too small. Cocktails were mediocre, and the overall experience felt underwhelming. We booked it for a corporate dinner and honestly, I regret choosing this place. The service was just okay, nothing memorable. I wouldn’t come back and definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Came during happy hour. Opens at 4 but you can't order food until 5. So I ordered a smoked maple Manhattan drink. One of the easiest Manhattan drinks to consume. The maple makes it very smooth. Then ordered sweet bulgogi fries as an appetizer while waiting for the entree. Excellent. Don't let their small size fool you. Then ordered the Oak smoked ohio raised pork shank with grilled apples. It appears to be a small portion but I couldn't finish. The meat fell off the bone. Grits were great. The greens and grilled apples added new taste and texture which I appreciated. This restaurant isn't afraid to try new things which I love.

We visited on May 1,2025 to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Everything was absolutely amazing! We ordered the fried cashews and Brussel sprouts appetizers. So delicious! We both ordered the swordfish, which was divine! Our cocktails were perfect! The service was very courteous and professional. We highly recommend this fine restaurant!

Google
Food is always incredible, top notch. However, I have never had a drink that was good. It's never balanced. The service is usually slow too which isn't a big deal because I normally go there for a date night or to celebrate. I wish they would get a better bartender.

My husband and I had dinner here before a concert at the Toledo zoo. I had looked at the menu online but I didn't realize it was Barcelona night, so I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the regular menu online. (My mistake) We decided to stay and give a try & I must say the tapas was some of the best creations I ever had! We thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish wine and all the different small plates we ordered! So many wonderful flavors!! Hope there's a good show at the Zoo next year so we can eat at your fine establishment again!! Thank you!

Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. :) Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light). The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date & Pecan bread. - Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you'd see foie), was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through), with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive "main" courses on their menu.

Yelp
Tried to make a reservation for 7pm, unable to accommodate us at that time and moved us to 7:30pm instead. We came, got seated only 3 tables had customers. So there's a good 15 tables free, not busy on a Friday as they made it appear. Server was slow. We started with flights of red & white. She brought it and left. Did not care to explain the flights were getting..um ok. Our apps came: Chacuterie board and Escargot. It was ok. For our Mains: Snake Sturgeon, Island Salmon, Grilled lamb chops, Bucatini Carbonara. Food came, placed on our table and she left. The stacked used plates from our apps were, you guessed it she didn't bother to clean it up. My son enjoyed the lamb chops, bucatini was okay. I forked my salmon & it was raw! Looked around to see for any server..none. 10 mins came by, 15, 20, 30mins not one server to be found!!! My husband hasnt touched his food as well as he was waiting on me. At this point we're very disappointed, lost our appetite. Waitress eventually came, we said this was raw. Her reply "It's beet cured but yeah looks raw!" - no apologies! Mind you! She picked up my plate, and my husband's as we no longer wanted to eat. We all stood and left, she then said I apologize, without a hint of sincerity and no efforts made to resolve the unpleasant experience we had. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! We then headed to The Brim house to finish our dinner and food and service were phenomenal!

Yelp
Stopped in for a last second reservation with a party of 7. Service was good, they brought bread out to us that was paired with a nice, fluffy butter. I had the soup of the day, which was delightful, and the meatloaf sandwich. I would recommend both. Only negative was how the sound traveled around the restaurant, I felt like I could hear everyone else's conversations.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the presentation equally amazing. My husband had the lamb chops and I had the Beef tenderloin. Both cooked to perfection and served wonderfully. Service was amazing and Jessica was extremely helpful. This restaurant used to be a hotel and its an awesome place with history.

Yelp
Great food, drinks, atmosphere, and service! Our server Bernard made it his mission to give us a great experience, and he did not disappoint! He was very knowledgeable about the extensive food and drink menus and made excellent recommendations for us. We ordered the Grilled Naan Pizza, Moroccan Braised Lamb Shank, Wood Grilled Chimichurri Branzino, Bistro Frites, and the Raspberry Trifle Dessert. Everything was very delicious! Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
We woke up in Ohio.... dined in France. Well not exactly France -- at Registry Bistro on a Wednesday night. As if the evening wasn't already special, our server Cory and the host made the experience even better by opening our window while we enjoyed a Spanish Inspired Barcelona dinner. The ambiance was beautiful. The quality of food was great. This is a restaurant you'd have to experience for yourself! I would suggest making a reservation or calling ahead to make sure they're open to the public. We look forward to flying back to France -- I meant Registry Bistro.

Yelp
Their food was undercooked and subpar. Food service was poor, waiters did NOT check up on me and my family for an hour. They completely disappeared. Would not recommend. Subpar food, subpar service. Would not recommend. Overpriced and expensive as well.

Yelp
Yes, I know the registry has an amazing cocktail menu but sometimes you have to keep it simple with a negroni it didn't have the orange slice but it's fine. Good service as always and a Great atmosphere!

Yelp
Registry Bistro is the best meal in Toledo. Always unique. Always incredible food in a great atmosphere. This time I had Montauk Clam Bake Pot Pie with clams, shrimp, sausage and sweet corn. It was great. We also split a wedge salad. Very good. Also a mention for a very good craft beer selection. I had a Jolly Pumpkin Ora. A favorite.

Yelp
The bistro falls victim to the age old belief that sounding fancy means it is fancy. The place has the vibe of an art museum cafeteria. There is where the similarities end. I couldn't stomach to try the food after witnessing another patron munch on fries that wouldn't pass a McDonald's quality control inspection while they discussed their long ago sexual exploits. Service seemed okay but not really the type of service you would expect from a place that is trying to cater to the yuppie crowd. Ignore the stars and pass on this place.

Sean C.

Yelp
I first would like to say for one: the service was terrible. Our waiter checked on us one time throughout the whole dinner, just for my order of salmon to come raw. Would not recommend this place to anyone else unless your looking for an unpleasant time and to waste your money

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great food!!! Had the carrot salad, hen with stuffing and carbonara! Everything was great and even the staff was superb! Highly recommend

Yelp
Happy New Year Yelpers! If you don't feel comfortable going out, but also don't want to feel like your compromising on food and fun, reach out to Registry! Not only are they offering safe dine-in options, but they've been doing an amazing job with take-out for the holidays, all reasonably priced and perfectly packed up. We LOVED our Christmas dinner, complete with an incredible soup and amazing dessert and we were head over heels for our New Years Eve cheese and meat trays, as well as the delightful NYE punch.

Yelp
What an adventure!!! A friend and I decided to go somewhere we had never been before. I searched for a place with vegan options and we landed here. First, Selina provided exceptional service. The menu is in French and Spanish and she gently guided us through the evening. Fresh squeezed lemonade, Spanish Red wine and food that was exquisite. This is a great place for friends, a date night, or any occasion. The cost of the food matches what you get. If you enjoy a multitude of flavors and culture this is the place for you. And the menu changes seasonally. I ate the vegan dish before I took a pic The chicken and shrimp dish for my friend is absolutely stunning.

Yelp
Dark quieter vibe in this restaurant that gives it a classy feel. Food was outstanding, we had pot pie (amazing) with pasta and burrata as a starter. Quality wine as well.

Yelp
Te Amo, walleye fish dip appetizer and halibut were delicious!! Service was good and ambiance was lovely for a business dinner on a Wednesday.

Yelp
Dinner was great. My husband has the Duck and I had the vegan Salisbury steak. I loved that they had something for both of us. The sorbet dessert was also delicious. I can't wait to take my boys to try the vegan meatballs that I had tonight as the appetizer. This was a lovely Valentine's dinner. I must add that our waiter was great!

Yelp
My husband and I come here every year during December for our anniversary. Everyone is very accommodating. The food is amazing, and presentation makes me almost too sad to eat it. There's a cute art gallery connected. Drinks are good. And it's actually pretty cheap. Food is way too beautiful to only cost that much. It's the highlight of the end of my year when we get to go. Nice, quiet aesthetic. Everyone's very professional, and personable. Truly a joy to do every year. They always make my anniversary SPECIAL. THEY EVEN brought us surprise dessert. I've never had one complaint ever. Extremely classy. Love love love this place. They only offer a few things on the menu, but it's worth it, they tend to get a lot of exotic things to try.

Yelp
This place is one of the best restaurants in the toledo area in my humble foodie opinion! I love nothing more than an amazing meal and a perfectly crafted drink! We had a few the burning man was my absolute favorite! We couldn't decide on one dinner option so we did the only reasonable thing and got three and shared!. The food was AMAZING! Soo soo good! This place is a true gem and worth every penny! Great choice for a night with good friends, amazing food and quality drinks done right! Check out all the amazing murals by a local artist!

Yelp
We enjoyed the food and ambiance at the Registry Bistro. I had the vegan salsberry steak with mushroom gravy and parsnip puree. It was a delightful dish with interesting elements. My date had lamb shank over rice that once again included some surprising taste elements. The weather was nice enough the windows opened to balconies were open, which made the atmosphere incredible. My main frustration was with our server. It felt like the moment we didn't order drinks we were a second class table. We ordered an appetizer but eventually had to flag him down by name to put in our order because it had been over 20 minutes. The next time we saw him was one visit after our plates were mostly finished to check in. He did not check on the appetizer or the meals until that time. After the meal we had titied up our table and it had been bussed and we still hadn't seen him again. We had to ask another staff to find him for the check because we had another engagement and we were sitting at an empty table waiting on a check. We had talked about dessert but that was never offered and at that point, we were out of time. Overall the rest of the experience was great though and I would highly recommend the Registry for a nice night out.

Yelp
This special spot includes a corner view onto Downtown Toledo. Within ear shot of the Mudhens and Walleye hockey team arena's. Stunning food preparation and taste. Made exquisitely by owner chef. Wait staff are awesome and knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine menus. $$$$. Adult atmosphere and menu for sure. A wonderful find !

Continues to exceed expectations on all fronts! Could hold its own in San Francisco or maybe even London.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere with an incredibly friendly crowd. My boyfriend picked this place for my birthday, and I'm glad we went! Started off splitting some potato soup and then I ordered the rabbit pot pie (PERFECT crust, good size, a little too salty for my taste but I ate all of it anyways haha). My cocktail tasted a bit like Robitussin (the cough medicine) so I ended up pouring some water in it to downgrade the flavor and then ordered something different for my second drink. No big deal! On the flip side, my boyfriend loved his carbonara pasta and both of the cocktails he ordered. While my meal wasn't perfect, the service was much appreciated. They even brought out a plate of five different desserts and sang to me. I'd happily come back again and explore more of the menu. :)

Yelp
My wife and I read the great review in the Blade last week, but had a reservation prior to that. We just want to echo that review. The food and service were excellent Toledo has few really classy "different" restaurants. The Registry Bistro has a unique but diverse menu. The food was excellent (we had an appetizer of Danish brie). The entree was a game bird (hen) with stuffing, and a blueberry dressing. It was wonderful. We had home made English toffee ice cream for dessert. Selena was our server and she was very attentive without being overbearing. We have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. Great food, atmosphere (perhaps a little loud) but truly a delight. Well done Chef Erika! John Hagan 5 stars!

Yelp
What a great find right in downtown Toledo! I went with a friend early on a Saturday evening and was seated promptly. The interior design was unique enough that we got several minutes of conversation and enjoyment just from discussing the artwork. Next up were drinks. Oftentimes I find that the more unique the drink menu, the lower quality (at least taste wise) the drinks. It seems that restaurants try to outdo each other to the point where your eventually ordering something with obscure liqueurs and patchouli in it. Not so here! Unique drink menu, but delicious. We tried the martini with dill in it, and the femme fatale. Both wonderful. We also had a split of moscato, from their diverse wine menu. By far one of my favorite parts of the evening was he appetizer we ordered. The Butchers board is a must try. Every single item on it was both delicious and complementary. Bread provided with dinner was very good. We ordered the two small plates items as opposed to full meals, so I can't comment on their entrees; but, the burger pleases my very picky friend, and the gnocchi with morel mushrooms combo I ordered was divine.

Mark O.

Yelp
Great food and service. The Brussels sprouts and walleye dip are perfect for an app. The wine list is good.

Yelp
Once again, this place is awesome. The rabbit pot pie was incredible, and the soup of the day (potato soup with Icelandic cod and Scottish salmon) was superb. We're usually lucky enough to get Sean as our waiter, and we won that lottery again, and he was his usual great self. Can't recommend Registry enough.

Brian K.

Yelp
I think this might be one of the best places in town! I love their pop up menu's during the week...the Tapas were fun! I missed the Low Country menu...but am looking forward to what is coming next...? As for the regular menu, I have tried a few different pot pies....the lobster, Rabbit, and my favorite escargot. All are great! Fish here is excellent...always fresh tasting and prepared interestingly. I like the current artwork...I know it is constantly changing, but the birds pictures seem to warm up the place a bit as it usually seems very cold inside with the downtown feel to it. If you haven't been there yet, call and make a reservation and check it out. I noticed that they even have a nice kids menu which surprised me a bit, but I don't see why families could not eat at this place.

Kayla T.

Yelp
Zero stars. Waiter was rude. He refused to give us water or take a drink order because "it isn't time for it". Not only that that hit us with a $150 banquet hall rental when we just wanted to be sat in the dinning room. Service was horrible. He was rude and also kept slamming the door to the kitchen.

Ravina S.

Yelp
Bad service. The server CHASE was very pushy and not friendly. We went to have a good time for a friends bday but felt it was more of a task. Order everything on time! I won't give u water Bcz I am serving food right now. Very annoyed person may be he had a bad day. But overall experience was BAD!! Don't recommend this place if chase is working. He constantly looked like he was doing us a favor by talking to us. He then drops a 1500$ bill in front of the birthday boy and leaves. When we ask to split it differently, they refuse. I guess when they have a party of a certain size, it's a guaranteed Gratuity so they can treat everyone like shit.

Yelp
I went to a surprise birthday party here it was my 1st time I was a little hesitant but ended up loving the food I ordered a meatloaf burger with fries it was amazing dry soft hard to explain but it melted in your mouth and everything here is worth the price I had a drink it was very small amount & was 10$ but whoever mixed it I'm telling you it was perfect very strong yet I couldn't taste annnny liquor & it had hibiscus syrup which I thought was interesting I would be willing to go back

Barb C.

Yelp
I was impressed with the place. The service was phenomenal. I had the filet, which was very disappointing. I know something about meat, and I was not positive that it was an actual filet. It was tough and had the chain still on it. It did not look like a filet, Maybe the management decided to save money and cut their own? If that is the case, either they should get someone who knows how to do that, or they could buy cut filets from a meat company, I didn't realize it was that bad there. It had the texture of stew meat. I don't usually complain, but I took it home for leftovers and found the worst part. The brussel sprouts and the gluten free dessert were very good.

Yelp
What a great restaurant for Toledo! Awesome place if you want to dress fancy (which we did) or have a more casual evening out with friends/family. It's located downtown, about half a block from the Mud Hens stadium, Fifth/Third Field. Parking wasn't too difficult and they do have valet service available. Highly recommend reservations since, this place filled up for dinner time on a Saturday evening. Apparently, they just switched to their fall menu in the last week or so (the menu switches with every season!). We started off our meal with Charcuterie board with Accoutrements. Great dish to share with friends and was $17. Very unique and I highly recommend! I got a glass of the white sangria (I've had better and probably would not get again honestly). The hubby got a Sazerac and Old Fashioned (whisky-based drinks and said they were excellent). For my meal, I decided to order the Chicken Liver appetizer (I forgot to take a picture :( It was $10) and the Duck Confit Salad since I was not super hungry ($15 and was considered one of the smaller plates). The hubby went with what our waitress recommended, a goat shank over a warm risotto ($26). His meal definitely beat mine! So good! And a huge portion too! Our friends ordered the cioppino (a seafood stew, ~$20 which smelled delicious and I wish I went with that) and a pork loin with a "savory pretzel bread pudding" (no joke it was that quote which is what made our friend choose that for his entree!). Pros: - large variety in appetizers, smaller entrees, and full on meals - love how they have a revolving menu - they know how to do their mixed drinks (just not sangrias) Cons: - downtown location, parking can be a bit hairy if there are other events going on (sporting events, conferenced, concerts, etc) - duck confit was a bit of a let down when I compared my meal to everyone elses' meals - I felt like there was a lot of concrete... Why I gave it a 4.... What a lovely experience! Definitely can't wait to come back and try something new! It's great for a romantic night out or for more a more casual gathering of friends/family. Excited about this revolving menu for each season! We will definitely be back for more :)

Yelp
Registry Bistro just landed onto my Top 5 restaurants of Toledo. Hell, I didn't even have a top five and Registry just OBLITERATED any possible competition from existence! The Rapp's @ Registry Bistro just demonstrated what downtown Toledo can be and have totally set the bar for Toledo restaurants. If you consider yourself a chef, I recommend for you to dine here to seek inspiration. My meal at Registry Bistro was LEGEND...wait for it...DARY! LEGENDARY! On a 10 degree night we surprisingly weren't the only patrons there. It was a typical light crowd on a Tuesday night. What I loved about it was that it was a mixed crowd of black, white, and asians of all ages. A few couples at the full bar with seating, another couple, a group of four, and a large party at the tables, and us two in booth seating. There was dim lighting and candlelight, so I would definitely recommend it for a date night or girls/boys night out. The ambience alone rivals the restaurants I frequent in NY. The space is made up of stone pillars, high loft ceilings coupled with smart, modern decor, soft music and art on the walls. Even the restroom was stellar, clean, and inviting. To the waiter, whose name I can only assume was Joseph from my receipt (I apologize for not asking your name but when you greeted us I don't believe you introduced yourself. You're an awesome waiter, introduce your self next time!) I request the highest of fives! He was warm, inviting, knew the menu, quick, and competent. Everything you can ask for at a restaurant to enjoy your evening. Due to the extremely cold temperature he was gracious enough to offer us coffee, tea, and soup! *Registry introduced me to foods that I've never tried in an eloquent and innovative style. We started off with appetizers, or Nibbles & Nosh which included the stuffed Naan "Pizza" with what I believe was a *sweet onion apple spread, which was moderately sweet and very good. We also had a hearty Today's Market Soup that was extremely flavorful, filled with *oxtail and chicken. The soup was paired with the Knife & Fork Romaine Salad with Peppered Bacon and buttered croutons. The salad came adequately dressed from the kitchen, not over or underdressed. We ordered from both the Light Fare and Main menu. The *Midwest Meatloaf Burger on a Brioche Bun with *Bacon Jam absolutely blew my taste buds. I second guessed ordering something as typical as a burger, but this is not your typical burger. You can eat this with no fluff and the bacon jam was superb. It was was my favorite item of the night. With the burger, was Bistro Frites with pepper and sea salt, simply yummy julienne shoestring fries. They were a tad bit too salty, but judging by the empty bowl....well, I've said enough. Dinner's not over yet. From the Main menu we tried the *Five Spice Confit Chicken (thigh & leg) that included sausage and *lamb. It was very pleasing but paled in comparison to the burger, in my opinion. I enjoyed the Dessert Sampler very much and I hope Registry never gets rid of it! The sampler includes everything on the menu. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to order a second sampler to go! Our sampler included Today's Churned Treat which was *Goat Cheese Ice Cream with Currants, *Cardamom Orange Cake with *Dark Chocolate Ganache, *Maple Pot De Creme, *Chocolate Stout Pretzel Tart, and Gingerbread Cake. The Maple Pot De Creme and Goat Cheese Currant Ice Cream was divine! The drinks here are strong. No watering down here. To start, I had the *Citrus Reviver cocktail. If you are a heavy drinker or someone who enjoys a sharp kick to get your night started then this is the drink for you. It's all revival and no citrus. I just down right didn't enjoy it. Upon my disliking of the drink the bar whipped me up a custom drink which I can only describe as a *Raspberry Vodka Cocktail, which was much more my speed and I drank every sip. They also have an extensive wine list, both red and white, which is longer than the dinner menu. My only suggestion is to keep the menu updated on the restaurant's website. Erika Rapp & Staff thank you for a wonderful meal. I'll be back Registry. I'll be back.

Yelp
Found this gem based on Yelp reviews looking for a much-needed kid-free evening. We were not disappointed. Our waitress (Courtney, I believe) was super attentive and helpful answering menu questions for my husband's gluten-free dietary needs. We started out with Scotch Olives (not GF, but oh-so-yummy), and I had some of their delightful bread. I had a pork chop atop a soft pretzel stuffing (they had recently changed over to their fall menu), and husband had the goat shank over a bed of veggies. Both very good. Husband had a hard cider for a drink, and I had a very stiff amaretto sour. Waitress was attentive in making sure our drinks were not low. Definitively worth a return trip. We went on a Thursday night. I can see how parking around here could get hairy (one end of the block they're on is the Huntington Center, other end is 5/3 Field, and it is behind Seagate Center). I can see how this place might get loud with a lot of people in it (high ceilings, concrete for walls); this might be an issue for someone who has hearing issues with background noise (as my husband does). Noise level not bad on a Thursday evening.

Yelp
I had dinner here a few weeks ago. I hate to give this place a mediocre review because our server was so great and we really need to encourage higher end restaurant in Toledo, but my dinner was nothing special. Our cocktails were great, and our dessert was very tasty, but the fish entrees we had were rather bland and more interesting on paper than on the plate. I love seafood, and I love creative dishes, but I just don't feel the need to have dinner here again. I cannot even remember exactly what they were. I had been once before and had appetizers and cocktails at the bar. I would consider doing that again, but I don't think I will be back for dinner. I have had much better and more innovative food at less expensive restaurants.

Yelp
One of the better restaurants in Toledo. This was my second time here and my first review. This restaurant would be in my top 5 restaurants in Toledo. The setting is classy, the service is excellent, and the food delicious. We ordered a bottle of Reisling to start off our meal, which was very good. Two of us ordered the oxtail, which was delicious. It was sitting atop a bed of Jasmine rice and garnished with radishes and some vegetables. The oxtail literally melted off the bone (no knife required!). It had been marinated in a tasty sauce. The third person ordered the meatloaf burger, which, judging by the fact that the plate had NOTHING left afterwards, was amazing. To start, we ordered the Salted Cod Beignets, which tasted more bread than cod. They were ok. The Butcher's Board was delicious, esp the elk and the bacon jam. Highly recommend getting this starter. This was the second time I ordered this dish and it was literally cleaned up! Overall, a great restaurant. If you haven't checked this place out, I highly suggest you do.

Yelp
It was a busy Friday night for our four-top. The food is just outstanding. The chef has lots of experience and shows her inventiveness in the menu. I had the short rib pot pie. It was unique, tasty, and topped with a very nice crust. The drinks are tasty, a nice pour, and reasonably priced for what they are. I had a Sazarac that was made well and served properly w/o ice. Other drinks on the menu looked enticing. We did not have any wine, but the list is ample and prices were moderate. Homemade Desert complimented a beautiful meal. Toledo should be proud to have this level of food so close to home. I can see only more success in the future if this food standard is maintained. The entry area front of the house was another matter. It was disorganized and the people were testy. I think a manager was there, older woman, but she didn't do much to alleviate the problems. My guess they were overwhelmed and the young hostesses were not trained well. Hope this improves asap. 5* for the food. 4* for the service. 3* for the host area.

Yelp
Firstly our waitress Courtney was wonderful, a complete sweetheart and knew the perfect things to recommend. That aside, the food was stupendous! This is a Mother's Day dinner my mother will never forget. For appetizers we ordered the French onion escargot and fruits de mer salad with caperberries & pickled chilies, the escargot was hard to get out of its shell but tasty nonetheless, the fresh seafood with basil chickpea puree was perfect. Our main courses were the stuffed trout, scallops and pork belly and achiote chicken. The flavors were impeccable, the chicken was both tender and juicy, the seasoning was delicious. The rice and plantains were perfect together. All in all this place is going to be a regular whenever we come to visit Toledo!

Yelp
Place had great ambiance. The furnishings were tasteful, a sure date spot. Wifee not side piece lol. My waiter was knowledgable, and helped pick awesome drinks to accompany my meal. He was very attentive. The appetizer, a red snapper ceviche was awesome, and the presentation was great. The main course was trout with sage and hazelnuts....yum! Lastly I had my favorite cake tres leche and peaches although it had a burnt taste, that made it not so enjoyable. All in all it was a decent experience.

Yelp
This is a great place to go for a nice meal. The bulgogi meatballs & kimchi were delicious- a must try! The meatballs had a kick to then. And the kimchi tasted pretty authentic! We also tried the naan. I thought that was tasty as well. Tasted like naan with bites of sweetness built in. The meatloaf burger was good although I asked for it to be well cooked but it came out pretty red. I guess restaurants don't like when I ask for well done burgers. Overall, this is a great place to go for a nice meal!

Yelp
Registry Bistro is a great restaurant to step up Toledo's game. You can tell the team cares and strives to create a different dinning experience. Food changes seasonally and tends toward comfort food. Like any restaurant there are a few nips and tucks. But overall the staff and food are good. The atmosphere can get rather loud but that is understandable considering the old building and hard surfaces.

Yelp
I would give this restaurant a five star rating based on the quality and aesthetics as well as creative presentation of the food, pleasant service, and reasonable pricing for the quality you get. I traveled from Cleveland and had dinner with my friend, who traveled from Michigan. We had smoked salmon mousse over cucumber and toast, chopped green salad, branzino (European sea bass), duck breast, and shareable dessert. It was an unexpectedly amazing dinner experience.

Yelp
I was here with colleagues for dinner and the experience was overall fantastic!. The roasted cashews are to die for. The pizza bread was the best I ever had. For my main course I had the arctic char and wild rice which was awesome but two of my colleagues had the goat shank!. I blamed myself. Next time, I am getting the goat. Great ambience and its in Toledo so it does not break the bank!.

Yelp
What to do when you win $100 on Powerball? Go out to a fancy restaurant of course! We actually have been to Registry Bistro before & it did not disappoint this time either. We started with the grilled Danish brie that was very good - warm & creamy. I had arctic char (a salmon type of fish) and hubby had goat shank. Both very tasty. A little disappointed there was only one Chardonnay available by the glass but I admit it was a good Chardonnay. Great ambience and love the building and decor. A great asset to downtown Toledo. Will definitely be back.
