Paris’s Best Fine Dining Restaurants Are International | Eater

"Opened in the 16th arrondissement in 2017 and awarded a Michelin star within months, this restaurant fuses French technique with Lebanese flavors drawn from the chef’s heritage: plates are modern and European in presentation yet consistently reference Lebanon through items like charcoal-blackened falafel paired with smoked eel and chickpeas on creamy tahini, or pigeon in a nutty buckwheat crust glazed with tangy pomegranate." - Vivian Song

Alan Geaam

"We’ve all heard of the American dream, but Alan Geaam prefers the French version! After a childhood marked by the civil war in Lebanon, he moved to Paris aged 24 with just one idea in mind: to make his way in the world of gastronomy – his true passion. He started out washing dishes, then became a commis and avid reader of cookery books, climbing the rungs of the gastronomic ladder. At the helm of his own restaurant, he has exploded on to the culinary scene as he brings together all that he has learned over the years. His original recipes skilfully combine France’s rich heritage with touches from Lebanon in a true mixing of cultures, and his hard work and passion shine through in each and every dish. A fine dining experience." - Michelin Inspector

Exceptional fusion of French and Lebanese flavours in a cozy Michelin‑star restaurant. Inventive tasting menus, attentive service, and intimate chef‑driven experience. Highly recommend for a memorable night out. It’s both fun and creative.

Restaurant Alan Geaam. I believe this was the first Lebanese restaurant that got one Michelin star. The focus is revisiting the classics of French cuisine with Lebanese tastes and flavours. Imagine langoustine baked with blood orange and sumac and smoked in mint; cured trout wrapped in a sheet of sweet potato and served with scorched clementine and za’atar. The fish course was served undercooked and they had to change it. For a Michelin star restaurant this is simply unacceptable.

This place was amazing! Service was fabulous and the flavors were phenomenal. Came for lunch and you pick between two options for starters and two options for main. You receive a lot more food than that as you can see. Price is very affordable for this amount and I would come here again!

I went here on a weekday evening as a couple. Place is small and cozy. I was much before my reservation time, but was seated immediately. I had opted for a 3 course meal, and informed the hotel in advance, that I wanted a vegetarian meal. I had more than 20 different dishes across 3 courses, and everything was just beyond amazing. The entire experience was worth all the money and hype. They created everything for a great vegetarian 3 course meal

Just perfect. Best one-star restaurant ever. I’ve been to several Michelin-starred restaurants in France (and many other countries), but Alan Geaam was by far the best. This place deserves a lot more. I’ll be back in Paris just for this restaurant.

This one Michelin star restaurant was a great experience. The service, atmosphere, and food were all excellent, but what really stood out was the particular style of service. It started with the discovery of amuses bouche already at our table that we didn’t notice at first, and continued with fun surprises throughout the meal while always remaining elegant and delicious. One really interesting feature was the blind wine pairing. We were only shown the bottle after each course, which made us pay even more attention to the attributes of each pour. We opted for the 5-course menu, which seemed just right, and were very glad we chose the pigeon for the main course as it was a highlight of the evening. However, although the last, wonderfully chocolaty dessert was great, we might have been even more satisfied to end the meal after the first dessert, which left us refreshed - something rarely felt at the end of a menu like this. This small restaurant is well worth a visit.

Sure! Here’s a glowing review you could use for Alan Graham Restaurant in Paris: ⸻ ✨ A Culinary Masterpiece – The Best Ever! ✨ Dining at Alan Graham Restaurant in Paris was nothing short of a transcendent experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance, warmth, and true culinary artistry. Every detail, from the ambiance to the service, was meticulously refined, making it feel more like a performance than a meal. Now, the food – absolutely next-level. Each dish was a work of art, blending bold innovation with timeless French techniques. The flavors were perfectly balanced, ingredients clearly of the highest quality, and presentation was simply stunning. You can tell there’s passion and precision behind every plate. The staff? Impeccable. Warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu – they made the whole evening feel personalized and memorable. I’ve dined at renowned establishments across the globe, but Alan Graham in Paris has genuinely raised the bar. It’s not just a restaurant – it’s an unforgettable experience. Truly the best ever. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – I’d give it more stars if I could!

We had the pleasure dining here at lunch and have selected the business lunch when we booked. The sommelier has recommended a nice organic non-alcoholic sparkling wine to start. The amuse bouches were refreshing, colorful and use creative ingredients. The brioche with its housemade exotic paste (forgot the name of the nut) was a meal of its own. We tried both main courses, one was the seasonal green asparagus with fish and the other was duck. Both were of good quality, perhaps the duck dish stood out more in terms of texture and flavors. The chocolate dessert and the petit fours were generous and delicious. The staff was nice to explain the dishes in English with "un peu francais" to us. We look forward to visiting again next time and try out other dishes.

Yelp
Fares amongst one of the best Michelin rated restaurants that I've gone to. Ambiance is cozy and subdued. Service is attentive, but not over bearing. Food is outstanding in presentation and taste. I don't want to give away too much as the meal is a story. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Probably the most flavorful dining experience I've ever had. Ordered the five course, with French single malt whiskey and cafe but seemed like the servings were endless. Angelique and Pierre were on top of it. I was lucky to walk by, see the Michelin signage and get a table of the eight available on a Monday night. What a surprise experience this was!

Yelp
Our last meal on this trip to Paris, and our New Year's Eve dinner was at Alan Geaam in the 16th Arrondissement. After a ridiculously long walk, due to Google maps directing us on a route that took us through Tajikistan on our way from the 7th to the 16th, we walked into a tiny, maybe seven tables, subdued and elegant gray hued dining room. Service and cordiality were on par with any Michelin starred restaurant. The multi course menu was well worth the 160 Euro outlay, and every dish was artistic and wonderful. It's difficult to judge any kitchen on a night such as New Year's Eve, but in our ranking of restaurants on this Parisian sojourn, Alan Geaam would come in third, after La Condesa with Virtus taking first place. Our flight leaves in five hours and so I say arrivederci. Oops, I guess that's Roma. Au revoir Paris. Now I need a digestive.

Yelp
We had a reservation for two here. When we arrived they told us that we were not booked, there was some kind of confusion and we were freaking out but just when we were thinking on a plan b (they were not making us any space in their tables) someone cancelled their reservation so we took it as a sign (a part of us wanted to leave, we did not feel welcomed at all). Once we had our table, we had a feast! Each course was better than the last one, I am not going to be a spoiler (if I wanted to tell you I couldn't), but take a look at my pics, you can have an idea of how great it was. Prices were expected for the kind of dinner we had.

Yelp
What a great place. The restaurant was quite delicious and reasonably priced. The amuse were fun and tasty, especially the labne. The only dish I didn't love was the halumi amuse. Very friendly staff and chefs. The chef came out a few times. It was inventive and tasted good. Not everything was amazing but enjoyed it a lot.

Yelp
Fantastic place with a so creative chef. He proposes a gastronomic food with typical French products with a twist of Lebanese ingredients and presentation. Nice barbue, caille, baked rigatoni with solides, .... Deserts are fantastic as well : cake with "fraises des bois" for instance. The chef is spending time to discuss with clients and explain his passion for cooking. Already a one star Michelin place with potential to go higher !
