"Nestled on the outskirts of a picturesque village, this charming "chalet" boasts a low-key, rustic-style decor. Chef Fanny Ducharme has built up an excellent reputation with this country restaurant with a farm-to-table approach: sweet roasted Delicata squash, accompanied by its seeds and a tangy sumac yogurt, or delicately cooked trout, served with crunchy baby turnips and a dashi broth with mushrooms. The desserts stand out for their use of local and seasonal ingredients—think frangipane tartlet topped with tart sea buckthorn berries. Very cordial service." - Michelin Inspector

"This relative newcomer has dazzled critics last year with inventive French-leaning dishes with influences from all over the map, all showcasing Quebec produce and products from season to season. In the summer, ask for a spot on the screened-in terrace." - Ashley Joseph
Delicious, local food flavours and great service . This is a set menu of 5 dishes including dessert with an option to add another 2 and a wine pairing for additional cost . Three of us shared a bottle of wine and one of us chose the wine pairing experience. Really up to you what you decide.
Give yourself plenty of time 2-2.5hrs to fully enjoy the experience as it takes time for each dish to come out. I noticed some ppl commenting on the amount of food and price. We had a party of four ppl and we ALL felt satisfied and happy with what we paid for a 5 course Michelin ⭐️ meal. EXPERIENCE + FOOD = 💯 and well worth the $$$.
The raspberry cocktail which is what we started with was delish … and the local beers my hubby tried were all good as well. ( my fave was the Ayawan which is brewed really close to the resto and if at all inclined can do a day trip to the brewery itself … either via car or down the river ).
NOTE: I missed taking pic of the RATATOUILLE

This place is totally worth the visit! Seriously. We had fantastic service, ate like royalty and were provided excellent wine choices by the sommelier. Rather than opt for the tasting menu, we basically created our own and indulged! En plus, they’ve even got fabulous cocktails and local ‘liquids’ to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Strongly recommend making a reservation.

L'Épicurieux was an absolutely beautiful find! It was a great combination of innovative cuisine in a relaxed setting. The menu highlighted the wonderful, season flavours and textures of local, simple ingredients.

Just sit down and enjoy. The menu is preset, so you don’t have to choose. The food is out of this world. The only drawback is the toilets, they are too close from the dining room.

Way too expensive for what you get.
Very ordinary service.
The food was good, but the quantity is more than insufficient. The amount of food you get for two people is what you would get for one person in another restaurant.
The place is very cute. The atmosphere would have been great if the music would have been appropriate for the type of restaurant and would not have been as loud.
Would nit recommend going.

We had a great time BUT why do bottles of wine start at $80? Kind of makes it difficult to go again or recommend (in fact we won’t). The menu is already expensive, why SO much for unspecial wine?
