We had the 6-course menu and it was outstanding. Every course came as three variations of the same base, which really showed off the kitchen’s creativity – great balance of spices, textures and flavours from start to finish. The wine pairing was spot on, with a passionate sommelier who clearly loves what he’s doing.
Service was engaged and friendly throughout, generally very attentive, just short of absolutely perfect. The ambience is simple and relaxed, which we enjoyed, but it does feel almost a bit too understated for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Beautiful plates, but the glasses felt a bit basic compared to the quality of everything else.
All in all: truly fantastic food, with service and ambience still on a high level but not quite matching the exceptional standard of the kitchen.
