Saisons

"This 19C château, which houses the international hotel management school, (once under the aegis of Paul Bocuse), serves first-class cuisine. This is the work of Florian Pansin, who is supported by a superb team both in the kitchen and front of house. You will appreciate the finesse, the delicacy, the meticulous preparation, the colourful dishes: delicious roasted langoustines in a ginger and garlic crust; saddle of rabbit "intertwined" with smoked eel; a beautifully fresh rhubarb and mint dessert… Flawless technical skill and flashes of creativity. Put simply, this is tasty seasonal food at its best!" - Michelin Inspector

Very cosy place and luxurious at the same time. Food was amazing guaranteed by 1 star michelin, and service was incredible too. I recommend!

We had such a pleasant experience, I don't know where to start! The food was incredible, the wine is magnificent, the service is very exceptional. We celebrated our marriage anniversary and they were very lovely in taking care of the surprise. The receptionist was very sweet and took me in a tour through the whole building which made me really honored and happy 😊

It was a really nice experience to dine inside a castle, the service by the students was good. The food was also cooked nicely, some flavour combination were not to my tasting. Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 3/5

Can I give them more than 5 stars? The best meal of my life. Quite an experience. The food was exceptional but the staff is what really sets this place a part. They thought of our every need, were so kind and explained each course. The sommelier was charming and helped us with the wine choices. The maître d'hôtel orchestrated the meal to perfection and even arranged for us to go next store and buy some souvenirs from the school shop. The 9 courses were each unique. What an experience! If this is a Michelin 1 star, what in the world can it take to get 2 or 3 stars? If you have the chance to go here, go!

Imagine a three and a half hour vegetarian degustation whilst dining in the Lyon countryside at a Michelin star restaurant, in a chateau. Magical? Fantastical? Mythical? Reality. The food was delicious, the service was sophisticated, and I felt I brought the general tone of the place down by an order of magnitude just by being there. It remains the best food and fine dining experience I have ever had. It's all downhill from here I'm afraid. Of note, our omnivorous dining companions found the meat based degustation to be similarly mind blowing. Special mention to our head waiter weronika. She led an army of wait staff that presented course after course in an unrelenting battle against our waistlines and our better judgement. They won.

Food that is on a highest level of attention to detail. Service that might be a bit not 100% professional but it’s a restaurant of application for student’s therefore small mistakes are understandable. Restaurant is situated in a beautiful park in a small city of Écully that is really close to the highway 🛣️ I highly recommend!

We tried the menu de degustation, it was very good. The wine bread was mind blowing and the steak tartare amuse bouche was exceptional.
