"Located on the first floor of the ACI Marina, this restaurant boasts an ideal setting with a panoramic terrace offering magnificent views of the marina and the old town. The culinary offering is vibrant, creative, and well-executed, with fish as the absolute star, available for selection directly from the display case. Don’t miss the desserts, all strictly homemade." - Michelin Inspector

Six beautiful terrace dining options in Dalmatia

"Situated on the first floor of the Aci Marina, this restaurant boasts beautiful views of the sea and the centre of Split from its terrace. The restaurant name is profoundly symbolic: it translates as “grain of salt” in English, reminding us of the importance of salt to life itself, its maritime origin and its constant presence in our everyday lives. But salt is also found in sacred texts, and in Dalmatia it’s hard to imagine a life with salt and without the sea. The philosophy of the restaurant, whose cuisine is renowned for its superb fish, is based on this connection, and its extensive seasonal menu not only lists the region’s ingredients in great detail but also makes reference to the different seasons in which they can be found. The menu includes dishes such as “Ode Maritima”, which features the best fish from the Adriatic; “Bianco Verde”, a local white fish served with parsley-flavoured olive oil, citrus gel and a “sponge” of seasonal vegetables; “Neron” (barley with a cheese foam and cuttlefish sauce), and “Ravioli della Dalma”, home-made ravioli filled with Pag island lamb, a yoghurt sauce made from goat’s milk, lamb demi-glace, dill, peas au gratin, mushrooms and bread crumble. There’s also a good choice of fish and seafood, such as squid and lobster (including the Mediterranean blue-clawed lobster), while the monkfish soup and cuttlefish with bulghur wheat are also highly recommended." - Sarah Scaparone

Four iconic stops on the Dalmatian coast

"On the first floor of Split’s ACI Marina, this dining room serves classic, seasonally minded cuisine with a focus on fish, including signatures like monkfish soup and cuttlefish with bulghur. Opened thirteen years ago, it has hosted everyone from the Queen of Denmark to prime ministers, presidents, artists and Guns N’ Roses, and it pays careful attention to local gastronomy by using regional ingredients such as extra‑virgin olive oil and sea salt." - Sarah Scaparone

MICHELIN Guide Croatia : Gastronomic highlights in Split

"If you’re fond of the sea, this first-floor ACI Marina restaurant is definitely the place for you. A terrace overlooks the harbour with its boats and yachts at anchor, as well as fine views of central Split and the clear blue waters of the Adriatic. A favourite with fish-lovers, it features an attractive display cabinet of fresh fish from which guests can make their choice and a strictly seasonal menu; if you’re lucky, you’ll find dishes such as monkfish soup and cuttlefish with bulgur wheat on the menu, both of which particularly impressed our Michelin inspectors, as did the desserts." - Annalisa Leopolda Cavaleri

We had a celebration dinner for 16. Everything was great. I was able to stop in a couple of days early and select the wines. We set up the meal family style. Everyone enjoyed the food, wine, service and view. Highly recommend Zrno Soli for a special dinner in Split.

The lunch special feels like a steal. The food is absolutely incredible. The inclusion of water, wine and a coffee is a bonus. Great experience at lunch. Don’t be deterred by bad weather as they ca close the ceiling and if it’s rain / wind or clouds, it’s still a great visit.

What an evening to remember! Not because of the view or food, but because of the experience! The staff made us feel like home and the food and view made it extra special!

Overall, this is a great place to have a fine dinner. The service was great. The server was very attentive and knew the menu very well, he also had great recommendations to make for our dinner. He was knowledgeable when we mentioned that there were food restrictions in our party. The food was fantastic. We had the best of the best of the Adriatic, we also had the fish soup which was delicious. It was a broth soup with a good chunk of white fish and capers. We also tried the super greens starter. It was fantastic. The place is not great for Winter dining since it is in the port and relatively separated from the heart of the city. But you could tell that during the summer months when the boating season is live the terrace is very active and the view of the port of Split is fantastic. We didn’t have dessert, but the options looked really attractive. Overall, you can tell that this place is Michelin guide restaurant and it’s well deserved.

Stellar view out over the harbour. Incredible food, we had a variety of cold appetizers that ranged from very good to absolutely outstanding, followed by a grilled John dory fish, cut and served table side. Strongly recommended.

Google
Fabulous views. Amazing food Service excellent The recommendation of the mixed fish starter was amazing and beautifully presented. For a Michelin ⭐️ restaurant it was well affordable A staters to share, 2 main meals and a bottle of wine in a Michelin star restaurant for £125 that’s unheard of 😳
