The 38 Best Restaurants in Buenos Aires, Argentina | Eater

"Expect top-quality sirloin, skirt steak, rib-eye, pork loin, and house-made chorizo at this Belgrano steakhouse, which sources everything from the team’s butcher shop next door. If cured meats are more your style, visit nearby sister restaurant Corte Charcuterie, and be sure to try the morcilla asturiana, salame criollo, and spianata with hazelnuts and pistachios." - Allie Lazar

Corte Comedor

"Here, in the heart of the Belgrano district, everything revolves around a varied array of top-quality cuts of meat, traceability and the maturing process… which is hardly surprising given the restaurant’s location next door to its own butcher’s shop! The first thing you notice when you walk into the bright and open dining room are the flames and embers from the grill behind the counter. The “asado” croquettes are a good way to start proceedings, along with the Provoleta cheese, although you’ll need someone from your table to help share the huge portion. The sausages here, ranging from merguez to morcilla, are also popular, but the majority of customers come here for one thing: the succulent, tender and delicious cuts of meat. The high ceilings give a sense of space, while the tables and school-like chairs add to the relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is used to being full, so the team here is fully under control of everything from the word go." - Michelin Inspector

The 15 Best New Restaurants in Buenos Aires | Eater

"We all know Argentina is a carnivorous country, so it’s a big deal when the city’s most talked-about butcher shop opens an adjacent restaurant. Even though chef (and Francis Mallmann disciple) Santiago Garat constantly changes the menu, you can expect him to masterfully serve cuts like sirloin, skirt steak, ribeye, and pork loin straight from the front-and-center parrilla (grill). Don’t miss the spicy lamb merguez sausage starter or seasonal vegetable side dishes. When you’re done, make sure to hop next door to the carnicería and window-shop all of the sausages, pork and beef cuts, and dry-aged beef. Corte opens daily for lunch." - Allie Lazar

Google
Refined yet relaxed place to have steak - the outdoor area had a nice relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the side dishes and salads too. The service was great and waiters friendly. Much better place for steak than many of the more tourist focused places in the city.

Google
A restaurant paired with a butcher shop is truly a winning formula. With top-quality ingredients and the perfect balance of fire and care, the result is outstanding. My ribeye was so incredible, it’s hard to think of anything that compares.

"The food is delicious, the service is great, and if you're thinking about trying meat in Argentina, you need to come to Corte."

This restaurant is easy to get you from The Belgrano C train station. Reservations require a guarantee payment in case of no show. We asked for the Bife de Chorizo to be cooked Punto and the Ojo de Bife con hueso to be jugoso. The Ojo de Bife was served in a fancy sizzling fashion. Both cuts were tough and in our opinion chewy and over cooked. The salads were amazing. We had a peach tomato basil salad with a dressing that was divine. The kale salad was also delicious. It seems as though their ensaladas are seasonal, which makes the fresh and delicious. Other sides: the bread was delicious. The empanadas were really good. The french fries were cut correctly. We would definitely go back for the salads and sides!

The food was lovely but served rapid fire. We were barely halfway through eating the entrees before the main was brought to the table. I would have expected more attention to detail at this quality of restaurant and it made the experience feel like they were rushing us out to get the table back. And then its like they forgot us because we couldn't get their attention to request the check...then when we finally did ask for it, they never brought it. The entrees (tartare and croquettes) were excellent, the meat great, the vegetable sides (the leek and the broccoli) were ok.

Almost cancelled my reservation because of the bad service reviews but service was great and glad I didn’t! All the food was incredibly delicious, the dry aged t-bone steak was the best steak I’ve ever had! Will definitely recommend and return on my next trip to Baires

Google
How can a place of meat be THAT good? Argentina always makes us reflect on that and starting with Corte Comedor was a start with red carpet! If you are traveling or from Argentina it is a must to stop by this restaurant. EXCELLENT service (above and beyond) and AMAZING food. Thank you

Google
We have been to Corte twice and loved both of our meals! The steaks are beautifully cooked. We have been to a couple other restaurants that have served very fatty pieces of meat, but Corte’s steak had little to not fat which is how we prefer it. We got the Pulpon and the Flat Iron - highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice dinner!

Yelp
This is #1 on our list of places to eat when we are in BA. The steak is sooo good with the entraña and the dry aged tomahawk being the choices we bounce between. The sides are also stars, a beautiful and bountiful greens salad, roasted beets with ricotta, the eggplant with yogurt and cilantro( my boyfriends favorite) and even the provincial fries are bursting with flavor. I'm not even much of a dessert girl but when I see a crème brûlée on the menu I order it. The one here was NEXT LEVEL. The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because while the service is good (albeit a bit rushed) it's like pulling teeth to get and pay your check. It can also be loud inside so if you struggle with that the patio might be a better place to sit.

Yelp
Excellent meal. We had the tartare as a starter - some of the best I've ever had. We had the Entrana and kale salad for dinner. Wonderful seasoning on the steak, and one entree and a salad were more that enough for two. Generous portions.

Yelp
During two weeks in Argentina, this was probably my favorite meal. The skirt steak was truly one of the best steaks I've had in my life. The dry aged steak special was also exceptional. Unlike elsewhere in Argentina, they cooked our steaks a perfect medium-rare with a juicy pink center. The appetizers, sides, and desserts (especially the flan, but really everything) were fantastic. The vibe is a little more hipstery/foodie than a traditional parrilla, with a nice clean interior and attentive service.

Yelp
By far my favorite steakhouse / meat restaurant in Argentina. Went 4 times in a 2 week visit. Both their dry-aged meat (only dry-aged I've had in Argentina) and other meat were incredible. They have my favorite Provoleta in the country and a great wine with more than just terrific Malbecs. Miss it so much!

This is a modern Parrilla. Simple plain decor, nice open space. Young millennium crowd, very nice looking group of people. Food very high quality. Noise level high.

Yelp
Incredible place to buy meat for a Sunday asado. The tomahawk steak is out of this world and the chorizo (classic, lamb, rabbit, morcilla and chistorra) is delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the quality

Yelp
WOW!!!!!! That is truly all you need to know about Cor-Te. My wife and I came here for an extended "linner" (in between lunch and dinner) and were overwhelmed with the genuine friendliness of the staff and the spectacular flavors of their food. Without a doubt, one of the best meals we have ever had. If you're in Buenos Aires you MUST MUST MUST visit, but beware, Cor-Te will forever spoil you!

Yelp
Everything was great! Delicious meat, specially the "chuleton madurado", it´s dry aged for +45 days at least!! The menu is composed mostly by differents kinds of meat: cow, pork, chicken, lamb, rabbit. You name it! It´s probably there! It´s not expensive at all, nice prices for a nice meal ;^) They make their own sausages and chorizos, with not easy to find flavours and the results are super tasty! There is a butcher shop attached to the restaurant so you can buy anything you liked and make it yourself later!!! Amazing, i´m going to go more than once for sure!! A safe bet for every visit to Buenos Aires!
