L'Antoinette French Restaurant

We celebrated our 33rd anniversary here last week. Very special experience-from the ambiance to the drinks, apps, entrees, & dessert, everything was excellent! Our server, Dalton, was so polite and accommodating. The staff was friendly and the evening was delightful!

This spot rocks. My wife and I had a fabulous date night trying L'Antoinette. The service was excellent and the steak frittes was all you can eat. The French Onion Soup was finished tableside. All the wine and drinks were delicious also. Great spot in Milton to have a special occasion or just a great dinner.

My boyfriend and I came for an early dinner last Thursday and it was just fabulous. Our waitress had on point recommendations for both food and drink. My Hugo Spritz was delicious and the grilled oysters are a must try. We both got the unlimited ribeye steak and frites. You get to pick an unlimited salad, as your starter, straight off the menu! I chose the caprese and it was delicious. My bf got the salad d’Endive and really enjoyed it. The bread and butter you get was tasty too. Now….. the ribeye and frites…. WOW. Our waitress recommended the Bernaise sauce and the peppercorn sauce which were delightful individually but also complimented each other. The frites were some of the best I’ve had and the steaks were cooked just how I wanted (med rare to rare preferably rarer). All around wonderful experience and the restaurant is so pretty.

I was really in the mood for some authentic French cuisine and noticed L’Antoinette had strong ratings on Google, so I made the 30-minute drive from East Cobb to give it a try. I ordered the duck confit, half a dozen oysters, and the frito misto. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. The duck confit had a nice crispy exterior but lacked the tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich flavor typical of a proper confit. The oysters were disappointingly dry with no briny freshness—they seemed pre-shucked and not recently prepared. The accompanying cocktail sauce was overly thick and gel-like, as if it had been premade and refrigerated for too long. The frito misto was greasy and soggy rather than light and crisp. I truly wanted to love this place and was a bit let down. That said, I’m open to giving it another shot—perhaps on a less busy night or with a bigger appetite. I’d especially like to try the Coq au Vin and escargots next time. On a positive note, bartender Erica was outstanding—super friendly, attentive, and made the experience much more enjoyable!

This was an amazing experience and I have told so many people about it since then. Right now they have an all you can eat steak and frites that is so delicious. You definitely want the truffle butter. Our waiter was the absolute best as well extremely funny and charismatic. I can’t wait to come again

We ordered the unlimited steak frites. Service was great. We had reservations at 8 and received our first plate of steak frites around 8:55. Initially I was upset at the time because I thought they were trying to game the system by serving us the main course right when they close so we wouldn’t have time to re-up. Our server, Kendall, explained to us that we would be able to eat as much as we want so we felt relieved. We got our second plate and it was just enough for us. I think the ribeye could’ve used some more searing and a tad less salt, but overall we had a great experience here. The salad and bread were great too.

We just had our 39th anniversary celebration here and we had a great time. Erika, the sweetest lady serving us made it an unforgettable experience. We promised her to come back for the next 39th anniversary celebration :-) Of course we’ll bring the family back to see her sooner.

Very disappointing experience on a very special day. Reading many good reviews we decided to spend Valentine evening at L’Antoinette. We spent $ 299,97 for two people and got a very poor service. Our server was either overwhelmed or poorly trained. After the main course she just grabbed the plates from the table and left, not even asking if we would like a dessert. We decided to wait and it took a while for her to pay any attention to us and discover that we would like coffee and dessert for one person. When the dessert was brought by someone (all meals were brought by other helpers) the spoon or fork was forgotten but “Laxy” (don’t know the right spelling of our waitress name) never showed up to find out about that. There was a forgotten salad fork on the table so my husband was able to use it for the dessert that actually required a spoon due to its texture. During the whole hour plus it was impossible to attract the attention of out waitresses even she was many times two feet from our table taking care of another couple. I tried to call her name, waived my hand, felt pretty upset with such “upscaled experience”. Young lady showed up to ask if she could bring the check and apologized that she was very busy when I told her about the spoon. The food. Chilean Bass was good - not exceptional. The salad with some oranges - terribly strong vinaigrette that made me cough and had a very poor messy presentation. Filet Mignon was perfect, Summary. Prices could match an upscaled restaurant, service - not, atmosphere - hardly. Unisex bathrooms - woke but not a trend in upscaled restaurants.

Sometimes spontaneous plans can lead to great treasures.... Had no plans of eating out on a random Tuesday night, however, my family and I were out running errands and as the evening approached realized that cooking at home was likely not going to happen. Per usual, a quick Yelp search and wanting to try something new vs the usual go-tos led us to this new little "trésor". Pricey as it was, the food and experience were amazing!! Our waiter, Ryan, was sweet as could be and great at suggesting menu items. Appetizers, entrees, desserts - everything was "c'est magnifique"! From the moment we walked in I knew it would be special...the high ceilings and grandeur of the chandeliers really set the tone for the experience. It's not kitschy French but rather modern sophistication. They offer patio seating as well, but with such a lovely interior and linen draped tables I'd opt to sit inside. They also have a large bar where you can enjoy a drink or dine if you prefer. It actually makes for a lovely venue to host a special occasion/event! Hopefully the word begins to spread and tables fill up quickly...it was a bit empty, but again, it was a random Tuesday night. Although it is on the pricier side, the quality of the meal was definitely there. We truly had a lovely evening and enjoyed every part of our dinning experience!

We first heard of Resto L'Antoinette in Milton while at a Yelp event a couple of months ago and were so impressed by what they offered that night that we decided to have dinner there. Not only was the service impeccable (a special thank you to Lyndsey), but the vibes were also great. It was intimate and romantic, which is perfect for a date night. Now for the food- I can't even describe how good it was. Every single thing from the bread and butter all the way to the dessert was incredible. We had to start out with the Bread Service (Mini french baguette with whipped European butter and sea salt, which is made daily!) and Consommé À L'Oignon Français, which was a French Onion Consommé made with vidalia onions, brioche, and Gruyère. My partner had the Chef's Steak Special with scalloped potatoes and truffles, while I had the Gnocchi Poivron with the eggplant caponata. Of course, when we told that the dessert special was a deconstructed S'more, we had to try that with our after dinner coffee. We absolutely loved our whole experience at Resto L'Antoinette! If you're looking for a special place for a romantic dinner, this is your place! We'll absolutely be back!

I just don't have the words to describe how wonderful this place is. The atmosphere is perfect. The space is amazing, not many tables so it feels exclusive and special. The vibe is perfect for a date night or special occasion. The food is immaculate, the execution is perfect. From the plating to the taste. Only the best ingredients were used and you are reminded from the first bite to the last. Our server Lyndsey, was kind, helpful and fun. From help with the menu to making sure the table was free of crumbs between courses I couldn't ask for better service. I just don't have a bad thing to say. Now to put a bow on it. My suggestion would be to look nice and make a reservation. If you're looking to eat on the cheap I would go elsewhere. If you are looking for a meal you'll talk about for days. This is your spot. I assure you we will be back sooner rather than later.

L'Antoinette is a super French-ish new restaurant in Crabapple. Let's review our recent visits. There is plenty of parking in the adjacent garage, and the walk is short to the front door. The space is dark, warm and inviting with a large bar to the right when entering. Think date night appropriate. There are perhaps 20 tables, and the tables are nicely spaced so that there is plenty of room between you and other guests. The wine list is fairly small for a French restaurant, and on a recent visit the posted Pouilly Fuisse by the glass was not in stock yet, limiting choices further. The food is unexpectedly good, but unexpectedly different, too. For example, steak and frites.... The steak is nicely prepared and the menu claims an Epaule, or shoulder cut. Traditionally in French or Belgian brasseries this dish is a rump cut or an entrecôte, or rib cut, but I'm not being picky. The approximately 1 inch thick steak at L'Antoinette came out tasty and perfectly medium, as ordered, accompanied by large rectangles of pomme frites, or fried potatoes - very untraditional in presentation, and much heavier than expected. We prefer authentic frites, but the dish was very good. L'Antoinette has sole. The fish. And for me it's the standout entree. Typically I've seen sole pan sautéed in Europe, but here they bread and deep fry a de-boned whole cut of the fish, with curly tail still on. And it is delicious. Moist white meat inside. Crusty outside. The buerre noisette, or browned butter with lemon, was a perfect, light accompaniment. Again, fried sole may not be a traditional French presentation, but this dish is outstanding! The coq au vin scared me away on my first visit. I saw pearl onions in the preparation and it reminded me of my mother's frozen peas and pearl onions when I was a kid. But I was brave on a recent dining experience, and while chicken can be boring this entree was amazing, exceeding all expectations. Tender and juicy chicken is presented, braised in red wine along with trumpet mushrooms, haricot blanc and the aforementioned pearl onions. Even the onions were terrific. Great job, chef. Sorry, mom. Bread service is extra. They source from Theo's Brothers Bakery, the best bakery in the area, so while charging extra for bread is sadly on trend now, at least the small baguette you get here is top notch. Pro tip. Order the Moules appetizer (which is classic and terrific) and complimentary bread comes to help mop up the brothy goodness. For Miss M the best thing on the menu is the crème brûlée done in a bananas foster kind of way. She said it's the best she's ever had, and that says a lot coming from her. Service is just ok. They seem a little understaffed for a restaurant that's trying to be an experience, but the food makes up for the service. The service, however, pushes L'Antoinette towards a more casual experience rather than sophisticated one. Overall, Resto L'Antoinette is a great addition to the downtown Crabapple dining scene. It's good enough for a sexy weekend date night, but casual enough for a Tuesday evening. I wish them much success!

Our first time visiting this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Ryan, our server, was a wealth of knowledge about the menu and specials. We had a minor issue with the bottle we ordered, but the manager (owner?) was there to resolve the issue immediately. We worked the appetizer side of the menu...everything was delicious...

One of the newer French restaurants around, and a welcomed addition. Service and ambiance was stellar. The good was near perfection. We had the Oysters, Steak Tartare, endive salad and Filet. Loved it, beautiful evening.

First time at L'Antoinette tonight. Very, very good! The bartender makes as great Aperol spritz! We enjoyed everything we had, particularly the oysters. We sat at the outdoor bar and the weather was perfect. Service was excellent. We will be back.

We went to discover this place, and welcome them. The set is very agreeable and well thought, sober but stylish decor, excellent music in background, table set a little small for 4 but totally good for 2, classy but not pompous waiter. It is a great place to feel comfortable and not under or over dressed. My wife and I took the steak frite, typical French dish, I would know and there are things to say about it. The steak itself was not the best and cut were thick as opposed to thin. The sauce was not from cooking bone and cream but more like a broth. The frites (French fries) were thick, not cooked all the way. So, Chef, I would like you to suggest to cut the meat thinner, to put a generous sauce made of bone gélatin and cream and pepper, finally to serve French fries that are decent (think varsity French fries) Hence 2 stars removed We will love to come back and try your revised steak frite.

This was our second visit to L'Antoinette. The food and service were impeccable. The French onion consommé is a must try as well as the salmon and gnocchi. They also have specials in addition to their regular menu every evening. Dessert was also wonderful--chocolate cake and brioche bread pudding with fresh whipped cream. To die for. This is our new favorite restaurant in the area. Can't wait to come back!

First time here after their being open 3 weeks. Everything was excellent; space, food, and service. There were 3 of us and we had salmon, Dover sole, and steak. Everything was cooked wonderfully and the presentation was very nice. Wine list is pretty good with fair prices.

The only thing French about this restaurant are the prices. Don't be fooled. This is American food at inflated prices and the American food is OK not fantastic. Service was very good however as I stated, I was expecting at least some French food there was none.

My husband and I decided to dine here based on the menu options... all of choices including the calamari/lobster dish, the escargot, and aged salmon were cooked to perfection! The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. There was plenty of parking in the area as well. Overall, this was a great date night with a sophisticated atmosphere...we would definitely return again.

Service and ambience is 5 stars. I'm disappointed in the scope of the menu. It is very limited. My husband had the coq au vin and it was bland. We both loved the appetizers however. I would recommend cocktails and apps at their gorgeous bar until the entree menu gets better.

This is a lovely restaurant! The decor is beatufilly done, very cozy and welcoming while elegant. The food was outstanding, small but very creative menu providing choices for all types of proteins and small plates. One of our guest had a glutten allergy and was able to find many options to choose from. Service was very good, the waiter was always attentetive to our needs, explained the menu for all our guests and gave us some excellent wine recomendations to pair with our food choices!

We had a superior experience for dinner last night. The staff handled our large party with ease and made sure everyone was attended to. The food was delicious -- I had the sole and it was outstanding. I sampled my husband's steak and was beyond impressed. Would recommend for a great meal and cozy setting.

I found a slice of heaven to satisfy my craving for French bistro food, and right in Milton! The room is perfect. Comfortable, relaxing, great bar, and I can't wait for it to warm up so we can try the outside patio. Service was impeccable, but not at all pretentious or overly fussy. Just right. The food was fantastic in every way. I can't wait to visit enough times to try everything on the menu! The wine list is small, but well curated, and many great choices by the glass, and fairly priced too. Prices reflect the quality ingredients used, but not at all over priced. I can't wait for our next visit!

I loved the ambiance, a more sophisticated environment than anywhere else in Crabapple. Food was ok. Fish had too much breading on it. The price for everything was way too high to want to eat here again. I wish it weren't so.

Wife and I had an impromptu date night and decided to try this new restaurant in our Crabapple neighborhood. We decided to sample the wine list as well as a few appetizers. We savored the steak tartar, mussels and fritto misto. The service was excellent and friendly. We finished the night by sharing a decadent banana bread pudding with caramel sauce. Can't wait to go back...and so grateful to have this caliber of restaurant so close by!

L'Antoinette has a fabulous location and delicious espresso martini!! We came for Christmas dinner as a family on 12/23 and started with the salmon and duck appetizer, which were great. Our server, Nolan, was attentive and kind. We enjoyed our main courses, especially the coq a vin. The star of the night, however, were the desserts! We got one of each but the pear/apple tart was the best.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Resto L'Antoinette on 12/30/23 and enjoyed a wonderful experience. We can highly recommend the mussels, Coq Au Vin, French Onion Consomme (prepared table side with a French press for the consomme) and the bread service. The ambiance is delightful with soft background music allowing an atmosphere comfortable for conversation at your table and/or the bar. We made a reservation and were warmly greeted by David upon our arrival. Our server was Riley and she did an excellent job of caring for us. Enjoy!

Deliscious and it's a lovely setting. I highly recommend it. The service is excellent. We've now been several times and will go back again soon!

Nice little gem in what I guess is downtown. Fewer than 15 tables but a nice sized bar. We were greeted at one of the owners and chose to sit at the bar. Split a few appetizers, entree and dessert. Very limited menu but still had trouble choosing as all the options were excellent. Also a small wine list but again plenty to choose from. We'll definitely be back.

As a newly opened French restaurant in Milton, just two weeks old, we were hoping any kinks had been worked out. This place did not disappoint! In fact everything from the food, service, and ambiance was excellent. The endive salad, french onion soup, and salmon were very good. We cannot wait to return
