"We’re currently researching a best new burgers guide, which is why we recently ordered from Reve Burger, a new West Loop carryout and delivery spot from the chef of fine dining restaurant Ever. But (plot twist) Reve’s burger isn’t what we’re going to talk about. Their fries and vanilla milkshake are what earned them a spot on this list. The crispy fries were covered in a sweet and salty seasoning powder that reminded us a little of BBQ potato chips, and the creamy vanilla milkshake was a delicious dipping sauce for said fries. "Rêve Burger, an early pandemic side project from chef Curtis Duffy of the two-Michelin-star restaurant Ever, will permanently close on July 2. Initially launched in December 2020 by Duffy and business partner Michael Muser as a stop-gap measure during a ban on indoor dining, Rêve Burger sold griddled double cheeseburgers and fries.
