Nestled in Lincoln Park, this charming wine bar serves up delicious Italian small plates and pizza in a cozy, intimate setting perfect for romantic evenings.
"Just across the street from Riccardo Trattoria is Riccardo Enoteca, the more casual place from the same owners. The focus here is on antipasti, pastas, and pizzas. Both restaurants are excellent choices, but if you’re looking for a low-key meal, this is the place. It’s small and usually crowded, and a good choice if you happen to have small children with you." - adrian kane
"We’ve long been huge fans of Riccardo Trattoria, a somewhat upscale Italian restaurant in Lincoln Park. But right across the street is Riccardo Enoteca, a more casual place from the same owners. Both are excellent choices, though Enoteca is easier to get into and has a full bar where you can sit and order the essentials." - adrian kane, veda kilaru
"We’ve long been huge fans of Riccardo Trattoria, a nicer Italian restaurant in Lincoln Park. But across the street is Riccardo Enoteca, the more casual place from the same owners. The focus here is on simple antipasti, pastas, and pizzas. Both restaurants are excellent choices, but if you’re looking for a low-key meal, this is the place. It’s small and usually crowded, so keep your dinner crew to a maximum of four. If you have more, draw straws to find out who has to leave and go to Trattoria. Sorry, those are the rules." - sam faye, adrian kane, veda kilaru
"Riccardo Enoteca, a pipsqueak Italian restaurant that pins down the exact aesthetic of Lincoln Park, Chicago. It’s got a tiled name-plate pizza oven, a tiny bar, and about five tables jammed into an itty-bitty space. It offers remarkable charcuterie (including prosciutto, which my father insists on pronouncing 'bra-shoot'), bomb-ass old-timey pasta, and too-bright bathrooms too close to the kitchen with one-ply toilet paper and antiseptic pink soap. Spirits of the infamous prohibition-era St. Valentine’s Day Massacre of 1929 are said to haunt the restaurant." - ByClaire Carusillo
"Riccardo Enoteca is a casual Italian spot in Lincoln Park. The focus here is on antipasti, pastas, and pizzas, and if you’re looking for a low-key meal, this is a great option. It’s small and usually crowded, and a good choice if you happen to have small children with you." - Adrian Kane
