The Latest Korean Fried Chicken Lands in Rancho Penasquitos | Eater San Diego

"Now open in Rancho Penasquitos, I learned that Rice Chicken — the first of at least three planned San Diego–area locations — is a 2,500-square-foot spot serving lunch and dinner with a bar that offers beer, wine, and soju. The fried chicken is coated in a gluten-free rice flour batter for a crispy crust and is available as half or whole chicken pieces as well as wings, boneless nuggets, and gizzards; sauces and toppings range from honey-garlic to sweet-and-spicy and snow cheese (a parmesan cheese powder). The menu also includes a slightly lighter battered-and-oven-baked chicken and a batter-less roasted chicken, plus a few sides such as sweet potato or radish pickles and Korean-style ramen and spicy rice cakes. I note that general manager Phillip Chung told Eater two more Rice Chicken outposts should be coming later this year." - Candice Woo

More Korean Fried Chicken Landing in San Diego | Eater San Diego

"I learned that Rice Chicken, renamed from Ssal Chicken in Korea, is slated to open its first U.S. location in Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, in February; general manager Phillip Chung and his father Louis — who previously operated spots such as Convoy Tofu House and Mapo Korean BBQ — are overseeing the San Diego franchises and plan to open three locations in 2019. Their fried chicken uses a gluten-free rice flour coating that makes the chicken extra crispy and will be offered with a range of toppings and sauces, including honey-garlic, sweet and spicy, and a “snow cheese” parmesan powder; there will also be grilled chicken, various sides and snacks, and fried chicken sandwiches. The Rancho Penasquitos space is about 2,075 square feet with a 500-square-foot patio, features fast-casual service and a bar area with TVs, and will offer eight to ten beers on tap." - Candice Woo

Google
2nd time being here with my family and it is incredible. Food was incredibly fresh, made to order, with great service. You can tell they care. Chicken was moist, super crispy, and wildly delicious. Marinades were divine. If you have never tried Korean Fried Chicken, you gotta try this. And for those of you who have seasoned pallets in this space will truly enjoy! Come support this amazing family owned restaurant!

Google
Crispy, crunchy, and absolutely delicious Korean fried chicken! 🐔 We had such a joyful evening with family and friends. The seasoned chicken was perfectly balanced, not too spicy, so even the kids devoured it! 😋 Well-being Chicken Wrap was my best. Wrap juicy chicken and fresh veggies in thin radish sheets for a bite that’s light, refreshing, and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place if you love amazing food and good vibes!

Google
Nice Korean chicken eatery that offers a combination of slow-roasted chicken and fried chicken options. Generous seating and parking. Recommend ordering ahead for takeout. A go-to family dish is their Well-Being slow-roasted chicken thighs with freshly cut peppers, onion, pickled ginger, and large diameter thin slices of pink pickled daikon. Fast, quality meal option with a decent amount of protein. Recommend upgrading the sauce size, if your group likes even a moderate amount of sauce. The lunch special fried chicken had a generous portion. Recommend ordering some sauce for this dish. The bulgogi bowl included some cabbage to mix up the texture. The dish has one overall flavor with the moderately spicy sauce - so if you enjoy the sauce flavor, it’ll be a good dish for you.

Google
Ordered take out for Sunday lunch. Fried chicken wings and fries were great! Pork bulgogi was so so. Over all good quality and portions.

Google
Been wanting to try this place for quite some time and finally did. Excellent!! Had the roasted chicken and rice lunch bowl and it was delicious. Looking forward to coming back to try something fried...

Google
I came and dined in on a Friday morning shortly after they opened. Customer service was helpful, patient, and friendly. I ordered the Cup Bap which was a boneless fried chicken rice bowl with corn and cheese. It was pretty good and great value and portion for the price. I think if you’re looking for a filling and cheaper meal off the menu, it’s the best deal. I did get extra cheese though which is a steep additional charge but I honestly don’t think you need to add extra. I also got a Jasmine Milk Tea with boba, it was on the sweeter side but good. The boba itself was a little hard, honestly I didn’t care to fix it and took it as my loss since I don’t typically order boba at restaurants. The woman at the front mentioned it though that it was hard and offered to make me a new one which I took to go. Overall, I’m very pleased and would come back to support!

Google
Finally, a gluten free fried chicken option! Wish I had known about this place sooner. The 2 chicken dishes we got were excellent. Honey garlic sauce was delicious & neither dishes were excessively salty. Service was excellent. Can't wait to try some of their other items!

Piya P.

Google
Fresh top notch chicken at a very reasonable price. The baked chicken was super juicy and delicious. I was also impressed with the quality of their chicken gizzards, which is quite a rarity in a fried chicken restaurant. The gentleman at the counter is very attentive and courteous. I will be back for sure!

Yelp
Probably the best fried chicken I have ever had. Pricing good and the spices worked. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Friendly service. The bathroom smells like sewage. The chicken lunch combo is good and they pack it with lots of chicken and rice. Definitely not the healthiest but good portions.
google avatar

Yelp
Rice Chicken is a great little spot in the strip mall for Korean chicken. The food takes a bit longer, but it's worth the wait. Love that they give free pickled radish and coleslaw when you dine in. Service is super friendly and attentive, and the chicken is excellent. The downsides: no alcohol, prices a little on the higher side, and the bathroom setup is awkward (one stall + open urinal, shared). Still, the food and service will definitely bring us back. And there are def a bunch of unusual combos on the menu that need to be reviewed.
google avatar

Yelp
I had this place booked marked and happen to be in the same complex I was in. Chicken was pretty mid for the price. Nothing too special and I think Church's chicken or other franchises are better and less expensive. I probably wouldn't return.

Yelp
I really love this place the food is great, the fried chicken is my most favorite here but the fried veggie dumplings are just as good. The server was great he really went above and beyond, it's a big enough place for the family. They send you coupons and specials if you sign up so I really do suggest this place.

Yelp
My daughter and I stopped by to grab a snack to go. We ordered the sweet potato fries and six piece spicy chicken wings. I have to say, I was extremely impressed with the spicy chicken wings. They were perfectly seasoned and were extra crispy, even 30 minutes later they still retained their crunch! What makes these wings extra crispy? It's the rice flour that's used to coat them. The sweet potato fries were a bit disappointing because they were a bit on the burnt side. Five solid stars for the chicken, but the wings brought it down a notch. I look forward to trying other flavored wings from here.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
Some of the crispiest Korean fried chicken wings ever!! We always order the fried wings with snow cheese on the side. We got the wings mixed in with the honey garlic sauce. I wish the sauce was thicker but the flavor was still good. I recommend getting the sauce on the side too so you can control how much flavor you want. Service was great. They were really nice and even offered gloves.
google avatar

Yelp
First time coming here. As soon you go in I got confused because I saw people ordering in the front than sitting down but u can also sit down and a waitress comes out. The rest is big so it's great for groups. The food though EVERYTHING was delicious. I swear just one issue was one of the chicken we order was dry not my favorite. Other than that it was delicious.
google avatar

Jason F.

Yelp
Rice Chicken is underrated for fried chicken. This is really good fried chicken. The service and ambiance are nothing special. Go for the food. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
I just truly say this place is sooo fire love the rice chicken wings that's only $24.99 on Sun for 18 jumbo pieces such a great deal, when wings are normally like a 2 bucks per wing lol... also love the Korean ramen, boba drinks, and katsu chicken so great, and soo many soju choices :)
google avatar

Yelp
So this has become one of my favorite Monday and Tuesday specials to go at this location for lunch with co workers. You can get 10 pieces of legs and thighs for $20 which is a really great deal for a special. The chicken comes out spicy but not too spicy, I say like a 4-6 out of 10 depending on how much it's spiced. The service here is pretty good overall, as they try to explain the menu the best they can. The overall location has lots of food options from fried chicken, to Kim chi fried rice to even potstickers. There is plenty of space to have a small group or even a big group to be able to eat together. It's a little different from bon chon which I think is more sauce based fried chicken while, rice chicken can be eaten without the sauce on a mon and Tuesday special and still taste great !

Yelp
What makes this Korean fried chicken (KFC) spot different than many others is that it incorporates rice flour into its batter. Rice Chicken is located right next door to Everbowl in the Rancho Penasquitos Town Center. The suite can seat roughly sixty customers inside. There were also a few outdoor tables for seating on a small patio. I came on a weeknight evening so there wasn't a wait. I decided to sit at the bar where I could look towards the kitchen window to see the staff prepare the food. The menu had four different choices of preparation with numerous ways of flavoring. A half order was six pieces while a full order was 12 pieces. I decided on a half order of the Snow Cheese Chicken which had a special parmesan powder sprinkled on top. The crust was nice and crispy, but I found the meat to be dry and not as flavorful as I had hoped. The cheese powder didn't stand out either. I also bought a half order of the Honey Garlic Marinated Rice Chicken to take home for another meal. The honey garlic sauce was very tasty, but again I thought the meat was overcooked and dry. It's convenient for North County residents to have another KFC option in the area, but I do think Rice Chicken ranks behind its competitors in the Kearny Mesa neighborhood. There is a statement that it takes 15-20 minutes to make each order fresh so you do have to exercise patience while waiting for your food. Overall, I gave my dining experience between three and 3.5 stars.

Yelp
1 star - Would not order again. I'm writing this as I'm gripping my stomach in pain after eating the original fried chicken. Maybe the issue was that I ordered through Doordash, as I didn't have an issue before when dining in with friends. But I was greatly disappointed by the food this time. The Pros: + I liked that they packaged the food in the cardboard with the lids open. The fries stayed hot and crispy this way. The Cons: - I had diarrhea 4 times since eating. - Chicken had weird neon yellow color. - Chicken had a weird aftertaste. The Food: 1. The Original Fried Chicken: 2/10 I didn't expect it to taste like it was marinated. It had an aftertaste almost like oil and cinnamon. There was also a thick fatty layer between the skin and meat that was neon yellow. I ended up having to peel the chicken and scrape this gunk. To mask the weird taste, I had to eat the chicken with ketchup. The texture of the chicken wasn't dry. There was one piece that essentially a battered up breast bone. 2. The Cajun fries: 5/10 Not impressed. They had a good texture but a little oily. I had better elsewhere for half the price.

Yelp
We came here for the first time today and i was blown away. Their portion sizes are huge and worth the price. The place is clean and our waitress was so kind. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
This restaurant, although on the smaller side has probably the juiciest fried chicken I've ever had. It was clean and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. We ordered the classic mild fried chicken, the half and half fried chicken with honey soy and plain, and the roasted thigh rice bowl. All the chicken is some level of spicy, it's either a choice between mild or spicy, and while the mild does have some kick, it's not too spicy. Our food also came with a side of pickled radishes and coleslaw, though I think you only get those sides if you dine in. Everything was amazing, the perfect amount of breading and crispiness as well as incredibly juicy. You could definitely tell all of it was cooked fresh and it came piping hot. The only thing I'd like to mention is our drinks (all water) didn't come until our food came and the overall service was a little slow even though there weren't many people there at the time. However, the people there were very kind.

Yelp
I'm taking a star off for 2 reasons. First, they did not provide any pickled radish with any of the orders. Pickled radish is a must with Korean Fried Chicken (KFC haha) and especially for new people trying out korean fried chicken, they may not know about pickled radish. I am super happy I ordered pickled radish as a side, but I thought that would be in addition to what would be included with the chicken. I hope they provide pickled radish with the chicken in the future! Second, I was disappointed with the snow chicken, which is the original fried chicken tossed in cheese powder. My order was for to go and we just got the original fried chicken with a small side container of powder cheese. Recommend getting either the original fried chicken or a different fried chicken option. OK, now that I got that out of the way, Rice Chicken is really cool that the Korean Fried Chicken is coated in rice flour which supposedly makes it crispier and healthier. I can definitely say, the chicken all had an excellent crisp to it even when I go my order to-go about 15 minutes away! I ordered the original fried chicken, snow fried chicken, a classic sweet & spicy chicken, and a side of fries and pickled radish. The sweet & spicy chicken marinade was very good and they put enough marinade to dip your other chicken in which was a huge plus. Everyone loved the marinade on this dish! The original fried chicken was also tasty, hand battered in rice flour with a nice crisp to it! The fries came out fresh, hot, and loved the seasoning on it. Wish they would include dipping sauce such as even ketchup, that would be great! My order was for 5 people and we have plenty leftover! I'd try Rice Chicken again, but will avoid the Snow Fried Chicken and will definitely need to order pickled radish since it doesn't come included with any of the chicken!
google avatar

Julianne C.

Yelp
a local gem! rice chicken has delicious and high quality chicken battered with rice flour which is a lighter type of batter. i would recommend the honey garlic flavor! the original was a bit plain, so i wouldn't get that again. however, the chicken itself was super juicy and delicious while crispy on the outside. radish & coleslaw come with the meal, and they are perfect for cleansing the palate. service is quick, attentive, and friendly! the ambiance is nice, the restaurant was pretty quiet when i was there. ample parking. i would definitely come back when i'm craving korean fried chicken, and i love supporting local businesses like this one!
google avatar

Yelp
It's not good. It's not bad. It's decent. But for the price you're paying, you can get more at other competitors. For a 10 piece at Rice Chicken cost $30 and that's all you get. No sides no biscuits, all that is extra. The chicken itself is decent. Good crunch but lacking that extra umami that would want me to come back.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
Really great neighborhood KFC spot. Their chicken is really well cooked (to order!) and always comes out crispy and hot. They have many options to choose from (fried, sauced, baked, etc) and also some non-chicken items as well. I also happen to love their fries which are lightly battered for extra crispiness too. I love their "snow cheese" topping. The real unsung hero here I think is the chicken sandwich though. It's such a good value. The portion of chicken is HUGE and if you add fries they give you a super generous portion. The chicken on the sandwich is fried just as well as their normal chicken and you get to choose your sauce. It's like if the Popeye's chicken sandwich was made even better. Place is clean and service is always very nice and friendly. I've only even gotten take out but the food travels well and is still super delicious at home. I'll have to eat in sometime when I have more time. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jacqueline F.

Yelp
Me and my bf were looking for a place to grab some food and stumbled here. The chicken was so tender, juicy and well seasoned! First time trying kimchi fried rice and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and polite. The place was nice and spacious too !
google avatar

Vincent T.

Yelp
This place isn't the best looking but damn sure was the best kfc I've ever had in the US. The mom and pop shop had good service. I really enjoyed a little bit of kick in the traditional fried chicken batter
google avatar

Noriko C.

Yelp
Heard all about so we finally came to check it out. They took over one of our fave hamburger joints but it's a pretty good replacement. Chicken was good. Wasn't to greasy. Had a lot of choices for flavors so that was overwhelming! Fries were super good. My husband who is pretty picky with fries actually liked them! Service was quick for ordering. There wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant so chicken came out fairly quick. We came before 5, so definitely beat any dinner rush.
google avatar

Aimee C.

Yelp
I'm gluten-free, and I've been craving bone in fried chicken for forever. The only reason for the loss of a star, is because I finally find a place that does bone in thighs and drums, but the smallest order you can get is five pieces for $17. There is no way in the world I could eat five pieces of drums and thighs. And since I don't live in the area, I would have to throw away half of the order. I must say this though. They are incredibly kind here, and after explaining the situation, they did give me some ice that I could put in my small little cooler, to keep the extra chicken fresh. And the chicken itself, is epic. While I do rate the place as expensive, the quality of the chicken is worth it.
google avatar

Patrick T.

Yelp
Very unique rice based flour that's super crispy. The chicken is delicious and juicy. We've ordered from here several times for takeout and haven't been disappointed. Chicken is always fresh and hot.
google avatar

Cryetti C.

Yelp
Love my KFC (korean fried chicken!) Service is just right. Not too overbearing and there when you need them. We love the whole fried chicken, snow chicken, fries and fried tofu bowl. We love the volcano sauce! These fried foods are balanced out with coleslaw and pickled radish ban chan. So yum!
google avatar

Matthew D.

Yelp
Confident to say that this meal exactly, was perfect from start to finish. Did an order pick up, and mentally prepared for compromised fried chicken, considering I'm not having it fresh in the restaurant. Portion wise, it was a great size to keep me full for awhile. Chicken/skin was perfectly crispy and moist and tasted to good to dip in the honey garlic and a piece of kimchi. I'm so happy to live 6 minutes away and the store hours are perfect.
google avatar

Simon K.

Yelp
Skin is nice and crispy, inside meat very juicy. Good seasoning as well. Hits the spot.
google avatar

Dung N.

Yelp
My friend invited me to watch Top Gun back in June and I asked her if she wanted me to get some chicken from here. I ordered the special that they have on Mondays and Tuesdays- 12 pieces of the original spicy fried chicken! Since I wanted to try the spicy soy as well, it was an additional charge to do half flavors. My order was ready when I arrived and I brought it into the theater. I think we were the only ones munching on Korean fried chicken at the movies haha. The drumsticks and thighs were flavorful and crunchy with the rice flour coating!
google avatar

Jaylene C.

Yelp
Wow... This place is really good! We got the Monday-Tuesday special which is the 10 piece thigh & drumpstick original spicy fried chicken. We didn't think it was spicy but some of our friends who don't eat spicy would have rather preferred the non-spciy version. Unfortunately, if you're going to get the special, you're going to have to be OK with spicy. Either way, the chicken is really good- very moist meat and the skin is crispy. Pair it with a side of pickeled radish and what else can you ask for?! Well maybe soju or beer, but they have that too! We also got a side of the honey garlic sauce and kimchi which we would also recommend. This place prides themselves on using fresh ingredients and is made to order which you can tell. From the chicken to their sides, everything tasted very good. We can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes!
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
So, the food is decent but not great. The chicken sandwich needed to be a lot thinner and crispier. It wasn't fried right and bland. The fries were good. I also order regular fried chicken and it was too salty for me. It'll do for Rancho Penasquitos because it doesn't have much competition but I wouldn't choose to go here again unless I'm desperate.
google avatar

Celeste N.

Yelp
Every time I come here I get so excited to eat. The chicken here is very crispy on the outside and moist on the inside - just like how Korean fried chicken should be. I really like how you can have options to get half and half orders of chicken, my go to is usually spicy house chicken and a sauce on the side. It comes with two sides of radish and a side of cold slaw which is great. The pierces of chicken here are also very hefty with a lot of meat which I appreciate. The staff is very kind and helpful when choosing sauces to your liking. I also tried the boba last time and had no complaints (do not expect it to be as good as an actual boba shop, still good). I've come back here a few times now and the food is very consistent. Yum!
google avatar

Duc L.

Yelp
Super crispy, crunchy Korean style chicken. Portions can be quite large if you order a half or whole chicken, but they do have smaller portions like their sandwiches or wings. Their fries are also very good that I end up ordering them again and again instead of trying the other sides. Oh well, maybe one day.

Arshan O.

Yelp
Amazing chicken. Their roasted chicken thigh is so juicy and delicious. I've had it several times now. Consistency is on point! The side sweet condiment sauce is also amazing and pairs well with the chicken. Short wait, staff is super friendly. Just a great spot. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
google avatar

Yelp
Rice chicken is a Korean fried chicken restaurant that uses gluten-free rice flour to stand out to other fried chicken restaurants. The restaurant is located in the Rancho Penasquitos plaza and has plenty of seating. Although I've had positive experiences here in the past, this day was not one of them due to the waste of our time. My friends and I got the normal and spicy soy fried chicken and had to wait a double time for our food because of a mixed up order. We did get verbal apologies, but having customers wait double time for their food isn't the greatest... and even a check up for side dishes would've been helpful when there are hungry customers like us. I do understand the owner wanted the two younger workers there to learn how to manage the place, but there needs to be a better focus on customer care instead. Anyways, the fried chicken wasn't too bad. The fried battered is amazing and the chicken itself is juicy. Rice chicken has great fried chicken, however I'd say the service itself wasn't the best considering this incident.
google avatar

TeaNCali ..

Yelp
Decided to check in on this place. Ordered six fried wings in mild. They are still wingettes, not whole wings. The flavor seems a little off. Can't really put into words but I guess they kind of had a mild burnt flavor although they weren't burnt. I wish they offered dipping sauce or something. But nope just the wings. I ordered 6 wingettes and two cans of soda and it was about $22.
google avatar

wayne k.

Yelp
really wanted to love this place. but couldn't. the chicken was good but didn't stand out. spicy soy was not spicy. they brought out lunch special menu when not offered during the weekend. we walked in when there was no one and still had to wait a long time for our meal. and no, no pick ups from doordash types during that time. you can get similar food elsewhere with better service.
google avatar

Kathryn T.

Yelp
Got the boneless fried chicken 1 lb. So much food! It was delicious with a side of white rice. I got the sweet and spicy sauce. So good, it was good the next day too.
google avatar

Anne F.

Yelp
I love that there are so many places in SD for me to get my Korean Fried Chicken fix. Rice Chicken is definitely a favorite and top of the list when I'm in this part of town. I feel like it's a little more expensive since you have to pay to add sauce, but it's still worth it to satisfy that KFC craving. I love that they have a parking lot so I don't have to worry about street parking. Service has always been fast and friendly - well Korean Fried Chicken "fast". Chicken takes time. Be patient. I'll return when I'm in the area- it's also a great spot to swing by for takeout!
google avatar

George A.

Yelp
I order the 10-Pc Fired Chicken to-go and I've attached photos for you to comment. Does it look like they split the thigh into half and count it as 2 pieces. Half of the thigh has the bone while the other half is boneless. If not, then the chicken is really small... about 3 x 2 inches. See attached photos. Their fried chicken is really tasty (even without the sauce) and crispy (maybe because they use rice flour). My only concern is the size of the chicken meat (really small as in their chicken thigh is close to the size of the chicken Cornish thigh at Luna Grill. I will only buy the 10-pc fried chicken when it's on promotion at $21. Not worth it if it's not on sale.
google avatar

Sai Geetha K.

Yelp
To me, rice chicken is the best fresh and crispiest fried chicken in San Diego. My usual go to order is the fried chicken with spicy soy sauce which comes with radish and coleslaw on the side. Excellent service.
google avatar

Jeanette I.

Yelp
The kimchi here is the best I've ever had! Surprising I know to rate the kimchi before the chicken for a fried chicken place... the traditional fried chicken is delicious too! But I always order and think about the kimchi first before the fried chicken! Just wish they have more kimchi
google avatar

Rocky B.

Yelp
Korean fried Chicken here was so good. I need to come back and try their other stuff but I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. Very meaty and perfect crunch. I'll be back for sure.
google avatar

Bryan C.

Yelp
Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. Local PQ resident and has been visiting from time to time since they opened. Food has been great! I usually get the boneless fried chicken and it's always been juicy and deliciously crunchy. The service is also excellent and they are very polite which you can tell just from when you order.
google avatar

Deanne L.

Yelp
I've had Rice Chicken a few times, both dine in and take out, and can say it's been a solid experience every time. I've tried the fried chicken, chicken wings (6 pcs for $12.99), and spicy chicken sandwich ($9.99) and it's all good! Recently this year, I've opted for the spicy chicken sandwich as my go-to order. The breading for everything is crispy and tasty and the chicken is hearty and juicy. I love the honey garlic sauce for my chicken sandwich; ordered this twice for take out...one time they gave it on the side and the other was already drizzled in the sandwich, so I recommend it on the side. The sauce is so good, the sandwich wouldn't be the same without it. Thai tea with boba is served in a very cute can/cup - I'm a sucker for packaging. For people who don't like spicy, they don't offer "not spicy," but the mild will work - the employee said children can handle it (and my mom in this case haha) The service is very friendly at each visit. Food come out in about 15 minutes
google avatar

Kristelle B.

Yelp
We went all the way to this location (about 30 mins away from us) after seeing a promising review online. Unfortunately, food was just okay. Nothing really stood out for us among what we got-- honey garlic chicken, cheese chicken (the worst of all. They just put what seemed like pre packaged cheese on top,) cheesy corn and the kim chi fried rice (both were pretty good.) The only commendable factor was that that the serving was huge but other than that, it was pretty expensive for subpar food.
google avatar

Audra H.

Yelp
I have ordered food here several times. We really love the kids meal (it comes with chicken and fries and its a good, reasonable price. Also, the chicken is nice and crispy and the fries are too. Very delicious! We have also ordered a large order of chicken and the sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were amazing! The cost for the meal as a family was pricy, though. We will do it once and awhile, however. The up-charge for sauces seems a bit much. We have always got our orders to go, but they do have indoor and outdoor seating if you would like to eat there. We will definitely return here.

Yelp
I would like to talk about how awesome this place is! If you aren't too fond of the way it looks outside then you already know the place is gonna be good once you get inside. Once we got inside, the kind lady welcomed us with good energy and we were sat down pretty quickly which was awesome. It was not easy for us to pick what kind of chicken we wanted because the menu had a lot of good options which is always a plus, so we got the Cajun fries and WOW they were delicious and the just right kind of Cajun. Once we ordered the boneless chicken with green onion we were not expecting the portion to be HUGE. It was a lot more than I thought a pound was gonna be but we stuffed ourselves and had plenty left over for lunch the next day. I like this place a lot and my girlfriend and I will be coming back here again! Definitely check it out if you are looking for some good crispy chicken and chill vibes!

Yelp
The service was a hit slow but the roasted chicken was worth the wait. Delicious and juicy. The corn cheese was pretty good too. Unfortunately the fried chicken was disappointing and dry.
