Stopped by on their 3rd year anniversary. I've heard of it but haven't been before, so why not on an anniversary? They only have markets on the first and third of every month.
It's located in the parking lot between Starbucks and Thai Village on Amherst. When I went, there were two aisles of vendors and it was bustling with some music on one end. There isn't much sit down space, so keep that in mind. We parked in the parking garage and walked over.
There was a bit of everything: 2 veggie stands, a microgreens stand, sea moss drinks, coffee, baked goods, a croissant stand (Love Croissant), meat, mushrooms, arts and crafts, goods like soap, prepared food, 2 food trucks, and even 2 vegan stands but I could not figure out what they were selling. Oh! And a gluten free baked goods stand! But they use eggs. So we didn't get any because the member of our family with multiple food allergies still couldn't have them.
We got there at around 9:20 am and there were already a good amount of people with some already leaving who went for groceries. I went around twice to see what was there but opted out of the stands with longer lines.
I ended up getting an original butter croissant from Love Croissant for my croissant loving daughter. Also because they were out of most of their other croissants other than their savory ones, but those had meat. We're vegetarian. (The croissant we did get was absolutely scrumptious.)
I also got a lb of Lion's Mane mushrooms ($15/lb). I adore the mushroom stands at the farmers markets up north so I'm happy to see one here.
I would have gotten some eggs if I could find them. Maybe I missed it?
Overall, not a bad visit! I'm just not fond of/used to crowds. LOL. Hubby just walked one round and went across the street to wait it out.
