First of all, I had no idea this place was tucked away inside Montrose. It’s absolutely beautiful inside, and I can already tell it would be even more stunning in the summertime.
We went this past weekend for their Sunday drag show, and a time was definitely had. We arrived around 11 a.m., but it seems like most of the crowd really rolls in closer to 1 p.m. Next time, I’m for sure aiming for the 1 o’clock crowd because the energy really picks up.
Now, the food… I’ll be honest, it was just okay. Dare I say, a little mid. We enjoyed it, but it wasn’t very flavorful or memorable, especially for the price point. And yes, the bill was definitely on the expensive side.
I personally loved my mocktail, but my party did not enjoy their mimosas. They mentioned it tasted like there may have been some leftover dish soap residue in the glass, which affected the overall flavor.
That said, the experience itself was great. The energy was amazing, the show was entertaining, and the atmosphere made it worth it. I would absolutely go back and yes, I’d eat there again and pay the same bill, simply because the ambiance and entertainment makes it worth the visit. The total bill for a party of 3 was $192, including the tip. Which I guess wouldn't be that bad if I didn't cover the full tab. So... it's honestly a great value for a show, meal, and drinks pp.
