Rickettes World Famous Chicken fish & Bbq Chicago style

This is our second time ordering rib tips. Originally from Chicago so I got excited to get some good mild sauce in Georgia. The tips were barely there. Mostly bone and fat. The sauce is good. Not as good as Chicago but close enough. Fried chicken was on point. Fries on point.

I was excited to try this place especially when I walked into a full lobby with people standing around waiting for ages. That's always a good sign at a restaurant. I went for the barbecue Italian beef sandwich with a side of fries and strawberry lemonade. I must have ordered the wrong thing. The sandwich was more like a soup. And they only gave me two little napkins and no spoon to eat the sandwich. I picked at it with my fingers a little bit but there's no way to pick it up. The beef was so salty I could only have a couple bites and ended up throwing the entire thing away. The side of fries was $4.50 and I ordered them extra crispy but the cook must have missed that note because they were undercooked and floppy even before any of the sauce was added and look at the tiny portion of fries for that price. The strawberry lemonade was okay, nothing special. Like I said, maybe I got the wrong thing but based on just what I ordered I would absolutely not recommend going here. If you do, try something else perhaps.

Got fried Chicken wings and an italian Beef. Wings were seasoned well but still just ok..I think they were not freshly fried. italian beef had plenty of meat but was dry even though I had it dipped in gravy. Bread was wet but meat still dry. It was horrible. I tried to eat it because I hate wasting money and food but I threw them both out. Being from Chi, I was really hoping this food would satisfy my craving for chicago street food. It was a miss for me.

My family and I are visiting from Alabama! The fried okra didn’t make it out the park in lot my wife tried it and did a little dance. There staff was very friendly! The Turkey tips that we were given to try were fantastic! My wife and I ordered right at $100 worth of food. We were so excited, to try it all! “ WE DID LOL” We had the Greens, 10 out of 10! YOU MUST TRY!! The ribs were cooked to perfection! The fried chicken wings were fabulous! Okra, bbq beans, Mac Cheese, Banana whip, sweet pie! ALL THE THINGS WERE FINGER LICKING GOOD!! Oh the jolly rancher lemonade was the greatest! We had to get another one! Over all it was a fantastic experience. We will be repeating customers!! Thanks for a pleasurable experience!

Worst Food Ever!! First time trying this out! I ordered the 3piece wing and gizzards combo. My Gizzards were fried so hard I couldn’t chew them. Chicken wings had no seasoning! My fries look like that had been sitting in grease!!! We waisted $26 because we threw our food straight into the trash!!!! Waited 30 minutes on food as well!!

Had their chicken for the first time in Chicago…. Best chicken in the world. Tried here in the ATL. Same taste. Same flavor. Same crunch. Same crisp. Same same same. So unbelievably delicious and tasty. Can’t ask for better fried chicken. The catfish sandwich was extremely delicious too. The fried okra was on a whole other level. So damn good. Will be back. 10/10 recommend.

It was my 1st visit, as I as deciding on my order I was offered a sample of the bbq pork & turkey tips!!! They were sooo good I ordered both. Then I ordered THE GREENS!!! Whew!! So, I got in the car and decided to try them before I pulled off.. they were SOOO GOOD!!! I ate them in the parking lot & HAD to go order another serving!! They are mustard & turnips cooked with turkey!! I was missing that southern flavor frm my home state!! Rickettes definitely hit the spot!! I’m definitely coming back EVERYTIME I land in GA. Victoria was super helpful & friendly. My pic does no justice to how good it is!! 1st empty container was my 1st greens that I ate in the parking lot. -Customer for life 🤤😍

Wow!!! When I say from excellent customer service to the taste of the food, everything was extraordinary experience. This was my first time here and a gentleman in the parking lot recommend this place and I’m so glad he did. I purchased the fried wings and turkey tip combo with a side of mixed greens and Mac and cheese. The chicken was fried to perfection. Crunchy, crispy and juicy. The turkey rib tips…the smokiness and flavor was so good. The homemade bbq sauce is so tasty, just added to the perfection. Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy. The mixed greens, I loved that it has the smoked turkey added. All in all this was some of the best food that I’ve had in years. On top of the wonderful customer service, I can’t wait to go back and try the turkey links. I forgot to get names but young lady at the counter and gentleman that let me try the chicken, Thank you. ~ Amber
