"Borough Wines, Kensal Queens Park. Although Kensal rise was Borough Wine’s fifth store to open since it began as a small stall in Borough Market, the West London shop still maintains its strong independent feel, retaining the company spirit of being close to the local community and supporting independent vineyards and micro breweries. They offer a refillable wine station as well as various tasting and master class events."

Oded Oren Will Take Over Borough Wines Kensal Rise with Tel-Aviv Menu | Eater London

"A temporary chef residency running 22 August–28 October offers a small-plates, sharing-focused menu inspired by the diverse culinary influences of Tel Aviv — Israeli, Yemenite, Moroccan, Tunisian and Spanish. Expect highlights such as lamb sweetbreads with za’atar and lemon, a squid pita and an ox cheek with hummus, with dishes priced roughly between £3.50 and £17. Service is in the evenings Wed–Sun (6:30pm–10:00pm) with weekend lunches Sat–Sun (12:00pm–4:00pm)." - James Hansen

Chinese-Portuguese TĀTĀ Eatery Will Rise Again — Plus More News | Eater London

"A Portuguese–Chinese inspired duo from Zijun Meng and Ana Goncalves, who rose to prominence after a year-long residency in Haggerston, are launching a three-month pop-up residency at the Kensal Rise branch of Borough Wines. Their menu pairs “European ingredients and Asian attitude,” and has already drawn praise for a katsu sandwich and toasted rice ice cream. Service at the NW10 location begins Thursday 10 May, running Thursday–Saturday nights, and for the first time they will also offer weekend brunch from 11am on Saturdays and Sundays." - Andrew Leitch

Lovely wine shop with an excellent selection. Very nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Food looks good, too, and I will try it on my next visit, which I hope is soon!

Had a fabulous wine tasting evening here with owners Lindsay and Guy. There’s a bottle at every price point, good vibes, and great conversation!

Shop is very clean and full of options of wine. The person who served me(Chiara) was professional and really nice. There are also few tables to sit and drink your bottles out. I am gonna come back for sure.

Fantastic place to stop and shop for a bottle, or even better sit down and have a glass or two. Excellent, carefully chosen selection of wine. Great recommendations from the wonderful Mandi: a great value Ribera and a surprisingly top notch Californian (Brickmason). We took a table and really enjoyed a few hours of some great wine, lovely cheese, cool music, and a generally lovely time.

We went there for TaTa Eatery, it’s a wonderful experience.

Great little shop with wide range of beers and wines. The staff are friendly and accommodating with helpful info on what to try. They have seating so you can stay with your drinks and we didn't seem to get charged for corkage - unless we were and just didn't notice! They offer olive oil refills along with wine on tap. Would to come back when they have pop up food options. Def a great place to pick up something not available in supermarkets.

Google
The best wine shop in the area. The people who own Rise & Vine are extremely knowledgable and helpful and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. They only source extremely good quality wines and beers from both local and Belgium breweries. I've never had a bad recommendation from there and discovered lots of new favourites.

Great shop, I was a fan of Borough Wines that preceded but I have to say that there has been much improvement since turning independent. Superb selection of Wines, Beers and Spirits*, fantastic customer service and the guys are incredibly knowledgeable. I was also able to peruse the range whilst supping on a glass of wine! *Just one niggle, more Japanese whisky please!
