It was fine overall. The space is big and spacious, plenty of room for people working, studying, or hanging out. Some people were even playing cards. All good there. It does look like they might be going through some remodeling. When you read the menu and look at the website, you get a certain expectation… but what we actually received didn’t really match what the website shows. Not necessarily misleading, just underwhelming compared to the presentation online. Now, was the food bad? No. It was fine. It just wasn’t anything memorable or impressive. To be fair, the menu didn’t lie about what was in my burrito. It just ended up being very basic. They clearly put a lot of effort into their online image, so you expect something a bit elevated, and then what you get feels a little plain. We ordered a bacon burrito (one regular and one keto style). It was literally just eggs with some pieces of bacon wrapped in a tortilla (we asked for the sauce on the side). The keto version was the same egg, bacon, and cheese mixture placed in a plastic container. Honestly, it didn’t look very appealing, almost like it had been scooped out of a can. We also asked for no cheese, but they told us they couldn’t remove it because it all “comes together mixed in”. So keep that in mind if you have any kind of dairy intolerance. We also ordered the Island Bagel. I wish I had taken a picture because it was oily, and the cheese looked like it had been frozen and thawed. It reminded me of something straight out of a Costco package, or like a bagel mixed with a hot pocket type thing. Nothing special. The coffee, however, was good and tasty. They also had very Clean restrooms. Overall, I think the expectations set by the website don’t really match the in-person experience. Maybe that’s on me for expecting more, but we were going off their presentation online, and the quality just didn’t line up

My nail tech recommended I come here after my nail appointment when I mentioned I was going to get breakfast. I came and ordered the cookie butter latte and avocado toast. Both were very delicious! The coffee was delicious, I got it with oatmilk and easily one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The avocado toast was yummy, the toast was crispy and the flavors were lip smacking worthy, I added a fried egg. It’s definitely worth trying and I’ll definitely be coming back and spread the word!!! The gentleman that took my order, was very sweet and helpful. The barista calling my name, can work on her tone just a bit. I had no idea how it works so when my name was called, I let her know my name and she didn’t even look up and instead told me to look for it amongst all of the drinks that were on the counter that they’re labeled, it was on the ruder side which in any customer service establishment, you want to attract repeat customers. And she didn’t hand me my toast which was closest to her so I didn’t have to reach over everyone’s drink. Other than that, easily a new favorite place.

First time here today as my partner has a new job in the area and I was charging up our car. Sophia took amazing care of me, asking questions to help get to the perfect drink (an iced blueberry pancake latte) and the rival breakfast sandwich was delicious and spot on. I am looking forward to coming back to try more of their drinks and food! Thank you for being a rockstar Sophia!

Stopped here to quickly fuel up during a long drive and every single thing hit! Husband’s peppermint mocha was a 10/10, my matcha was delicious, and the Rhode Island bagel was basically an adult pizza bagel (another 10/10). Kristian helped us out and was great at the drive thru. Big ups to Rival. Thank you!

I wanted to visit this coffee shop, but some of the pictures they posted online are misleading. They're absolutely overpriced and you don't get what you pay for. Not even close. I ordered Carnitas Fries for a dinner with a friend, which they charge $15 (plus tax!) for, and out came a tiny, square box. Smaller than one you get at even Del Taco. The size for when you have leftovers at a restaurant!! A hand full of fried with a spoon of meat for dinner, for $15 ?!! Friends, you can go to a Restaurant in Temecula and get a whole plate of Carnitas Fries for this price and not be ripped off like this. The audacity! If you want to eat real food, do NOT come here. Go anywhere else. Very very disappointing to say the least. Never again.

Matcha was just okay, definitely could use a little bit more matcha being that it was a tiny bit too milky for my liking BUT the Anaheim breakfast sandwich was literally the best breakfast sandwich i’ve EVER had! the mildly sweet bacon went perfectly with the slight spiciness of the peppers. NO NOTES.

Delicious coffees and food. My favorite is the honey vanilla iced latte. You also can't go wrong with the "rival' sandwich. Always great service from the drive thru window. Thank you Rival Coffee crew.

Ordered 4 Iced Cookie Butter Lattes, 2 iced Match Lattes, and a Rival Breakfast sandwich. The Cookie Butter lattes were fantastic and delicious, they use Housemade syrups, drinks were not overly sweet but had great flavor. My wife loved the matcha, and whole family loved there coffee. The service was fast and efficient, and the breakfast sandwich was fresh and chef made, unique flavor especially with the bomb tomato Jam on it! Yum! The atmosphere was good, catered more to a younger crowd with the louder music though. We definitely will come back by when in town visiting again! Prices were also pretty fair for delicious fresh made food and and drinks with Housemade syrups. They also make in house filled donuts, didn’t get to try, but seemed like they would be good. 👍🏻 they also have fresh brewed teas available as well.

Awesome drink and food options! Great place for a sweet treat too. Rival has been around for a while and it's because they still do it right. Food is made fresh to order. Drinks are made efficiently. They have a variety of non dairy options and if coffee isn't your thing they also offer tea and energy drinks too. Cashiers are friendly and can answer any questions about the menu or give you suggestions on what to try. The vibe is cool and laid back. Not the boring typical coffee spot. Fave drink of the moment - 50/50 Pistachio Latte with seasonal strawberry sweet cream and oat milk. So good! Had to order another because my husband pretty much finished it before I could finish my food. Donuts - I'm pretty sure these are made fresh daily and have missed them on occasion because they do sell out. The blueberry one is super yum. I'm sure they're all good but that's the only one we tried today. Mexi Cali Loco Moco - This Hawaii loving girl had to try this and it did not disappoint. Just a warning that it is a bit spicy. I opted for the chipotle crema and pico on the side but they also sprinkled chili powder on top. Pretty huge portion. I couldn't finish it.

This is my new great spot to hang out if bored working from home. First and foremost don't forget to download their app for point collection! Wi-Fi was great, high quality of coffee, unique decor and amazing staffs. Could not ask for more. Place is quite spacious to put your laptop and get things done. They also offer great varieties of meal, unfortunately I did not get chance to try them coz still full from breakfast.

The coffee here was strong and their latte flavors are really good. Their breakfast sandwiches are SO good too. The baristas were friendly and made sure our first drinks were free using their app. The ambiance is ok. Very sterile/industrial and cold. However the view is pretty nice with the large windows. :)

Love how big and spacious this place is. I almost forgot what the coffee tasted like because I was too busy taking in the vibe. Parking lot is quite spacious too as it's located next to Holiday Inn Express. Didn't have time to study what the specialty items are so I got one of its filled donuts (maple pecan) and an Espresso Soda. The donut was quite good, and Espresso Soda was refreshing. It's kind of like an espresso tonic but uses regular carbonated water with some sugar in it. Service was friendly and quick.

I loved the online//app ordering option. There are so many options when picking your drink. I ended up trying one of their rotating lattes (creme brulee) and picked 1/4 sweetener next time I'd like to try 1/2 sweetener. I love that they have the drive thru option as well. I also tried their breakfast burrito which was yummy I just wish it had hashbrowns or potatoes in it. The s'mores donut was good, I love that it wasn't overly sweet. Next time I need to check out the inside of the coffee shop and loved that then had patio seating available as well.

Brought a friend in to treat her to breakfast and coffee, Kent gave exceptional customer service. He happily let me substitute arugula for the spinach in my carnitas stack which is my new favorite along with the goose juice. My friend also loved her Rival sandwich and coffee! While we were eating, water started dripping from the ceiling into my food, Kent kindly had my order remade (with arugula) and personally delivered it with an apology. This establishment has hands down become my local favorite and go to, thank you for another amazing visit!

Their menu sounded good online, so we decided to give it a try. I expected the place to be a smaller kind of cafe, but they had a lot of seating. I ordered the cajun avocado toast and the seasoning made it so flavorful and perfect. The tomatoes were so fresh. The bacon breakfast burrito was tasty and fresh too. The molcajete salsa was so flavorful and a perfect addition to the burrito. The cook their eggs in 100% pure virgin olive oil and all their donuts are cooked in avocado oil. Their bourbon peach coffee was so good that hubs ordered two. I really liked my pumpkin spice latte. It was a perfect pumpkin and coffee combination. We ordered at the counter and the cashier was very friendly. I would recommend checking this spot out!!

Ordered: Loaded fries with LIGHT seasoning and LIGHT crema & Hannah Banana PROS: + Hannah Banana latte. Amazing. The reason why this review has a star. + Love the employees. So nice & welcoming. CON: - Loaded fries. Third time ordering & it's disgustingly filled w/ salt despite for asking light seasoning AND salt. Fries were overcooked. This is definitely for the salt lovers. I am so very disappointed. - Poor communication with management.I also left a voicemail with their main line about this concern to give them a chance to call me back to address this issue before posting this. I am giving this a 1 star review because this is my THIRD time ordering despite even asking for LIGHT seasoning and crema. I personally loved them in the beginning when they first opened. I tried 3 times with hopes it will improve. I do not recommend their food anymore & I always used to recommend to my friends & family. For me, I will only get their drinks, but I will never get the food ever again.

Great experience. Coffee was excellent , crème brulle iced latte $7. Nice vibe. Plenty of seating and delicious maple cream donut $4. Little on the pricier side but would still Highly recommend.

I was in town for a wedding. We stopped by here for breakfast since it was close to our hotel. Inside had plenty of seating & ceilings were high. Thy do have outdoor seating but it was about 85-90 degrees outside. I wasn't use to the heat. Service was great. We ordered a latte and vanilla latte. It was so good. Thumbs up on the coffee. For eats, we got the pumpkin donut, The Rival, & Avo Toast. PUMPKIN DONUT: Lots of filling but wasn't too sweet. THE RIVALRY: Brioche bun was soft. Fried egg, arugula, bacon bits, and cheese. Really tasty but a bit too salty. Was still good. AVO TOAST: Unfortunately, I've had better but it was still good. Great place, service, and good eats. I would recommend.

Called and ordered 2 donuts, Christian had them ready to go in the drive thru. A girl helped me and she was super energetic and helpful. Great experience all around. 5 stars !!!

Easy to order online. The lavender latte and the hazelnut vanilla latte were smooth and delicious. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. The brioche bun was devine. It was very fresh; tasted homemade. The spread and the bacon tantalized my tastebuds. I'll definitely be back!

Hands down best breakfast drive through out here. I love my breakfast sandwich and matcha. The stuffed donuts remind me of Leonard's in Hawaii. Thank you Kailey for your wonderful service. Came here for a quick on the go breakfast for my entire fam I was pleasantly surprised by the options and quality. Only issue was my bacon in sandwich was a tad salty. We will be back again and maybe eat in person there were tons of people dining there on a Saturday morning when I came.

Came here for the first time and was hooked! I got their iced Maple Brown Sugar coffee with Soy Milk. It was to die for. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and a Oreo donut. Both were fantastic. The burrito had this amazing flavor which I couldn't tell what it came from. The donut was soft and full of filling. I'm so sad I'll have to go home after trying this place. The best part was their subscriptions. Their biggest one was one free drink of your choice everyday for $75 a month. What a steal! I wish they had places like this in the Bay. I can't wait to come back and visit.

Rival Coffee exceeded all of my expectations. I believe Caleb helped us and he was cool, had great reccomendations, and told us to try "The Rival" sandwich. It was loaded with fresh avocado, bacon, egg, arugula , etc. and was simply out of this world--flavorful, perfectly balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The drinks were delicious, with a rich and smooth coffee that complemented the food perfectly. The service was amazing; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail was perfect. Rival Coffee has definitely earned its spot as my new favorite cafe. Very clean and awesome decorations, too. Highly recommend! We left feeling exponentially better, so we might have been a little tired and hungry; if you are while reading this, head here now.

Highly recommend The Rival breakfast sandwich - sunny side egg with cheese, arugula, bacon, and some sort of sauce that was super duper delicious. We got this twice in a row. We tried the bacon breakfast burrito. It was flavorful and the eggs were so fluffy. I'm not sure how they seasoned and what sauces they used, but their food was full of flavor. I ordered the pistachio latte and creme brûlée latte with oatmilk and I thought it was super sweet. I usually like super sweet but I couldn't finish these drinks. I liked the cold foam on top of the creme brûlée latte. My husband ordered the cold brew and he highly recommends that. He said the cold brew was on point. We also tried the Oreo stuffed donut - solid. And the fennel fries with cookie butter. Fennel fries was limp but my husband could have drank the cookie butter dip by itself. The inside is huge and spacious with plenty of group seating options. Clean and orderly. A space for folks of all ages to enjoy grabbing food and coffee with friends and family and enjoy the ambience of music

I stopped by here this morning and tried the seasonal campfire latte, banana bread, and my dad had the egg nog latte. The campfire latte was really good, with a nice flavor. The banana bread was also tasty- moist and had actual banana chunks in it. The young man at the front, Donny, (I believe) was very friendly and polite with us. I've always had a good experience here, and i'm looking forward to next time!

This is the best coffee shop I've ever been to, the music is always good. All the employees keep a good vibe. You can tell they all come into work and let go of everything else going on in the world to create a great experience for the customers. Ava is always cool, one time I forgot my wallet and she showed me how to use my reward points to get a discount on the app. So if you haven't download the app!

Been here a couple times already and really enjoy having a iced latte and breakfast sandwich here. Staff is friendly and drinks and food are out quickly. My favorite drink is the iced white chocolate mocha. I've tried both the breakfast sandwiches here between the rival and the Anaheim my favorite if the Anaheim it's a little more on the spicy side. Definitely a place to check out to get some coffee, work, and relax!

My Wife and I were in need of WiFi and outlets during the power outages in Menifee/Winchester. All the cafes near us were packed so we made our way to Murrieta and stumbled upon Rival. Thank God for this place. Lots of space to sit and plug in, amazing drip coffee and tea, and the vibes were impeccable. Best part was the staff and how happy, engaging, and energetic they all were. We were having a terrible morning but just a few productive hours at this place truly turned that around. We won't need to look for any other places to hunker down going forward. This is it.

Coffee was great. Bacon Burrito (ordered in a bowl) was very cheesy and greasy which I was not a fan of. Treated to a free strawberry donut for signing up with the app. Service had the potential to be better... our cashier seemed a bit out of it and was short with us. Loved the music and the vibes of the place. We sat on the couch which was super comfortable and relaxed.

I ordered a breakfast burrito at the drive thru and started biting on these large black hard flakes. I thought it was eggshells until I started examining the burrito. I went inside and they quickly remade it for me but the second burrito still had the flakes in it. This photo is of the flakes in the second burrito. I had already driven off so I did not let them know, but please check the cooktop or cooking utensils. I love this place, but this was super unpleasant. I threw away both burritos :/

Came here with some friends today and there was definitely a steady flow of customers. There was a flyer on the table for monthly subscriptions, which offer great deals if you visit often. The Grilled Cheese Lunchbox is a great value for kiddos and light eaters. The Rival breakfast sandwich is pretty popular and a good option. The coffee is ok, I've been here enough times to know that whatever I order is going to taste the same as every other drink I've tried...I had the Crème Brûlée iced latte and it didn't taste like crème brûlée, but it wasn't bad either. One of the issues I had today was how loud the music was, you had to talk really loud to have a conversation, so my friends and I finally went outside. When we got out there 2 other groups of people followed and they also felt it was too loud. Service was good.

My go tos: the Rival, the best bacon breakfast sandwich I've ever had/ the creme brûlée latte or cold brew, I'm addicted to say the least/ the goose juice, I'll have gallons of this thank you very much/ their fries, I like mine soft yet a bit crispy and they hit the mark here. Employees are friendly and attentive and are great when making suggestions! Sad that the restaurant had to close but happy that the rest of the coffee shop stayed.

This is gonna be a short and sweet review! Get the Lavender latte. It is one of the best ones that I have ever had in my life and I have had many of them. I asked them to make it half sweet and they made it perfect. They have a drive thru which is super awesome. The employees are super friendly and attentive. They don't have attitude like some of the baristas in OC coffee shops do! Check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Ehhhhhhhh.... where do we start... first-time visitor, was In the area and skipped some coffee places to get to somewhere close to where I was going...which was .. (wait for it) rival coffee (your so smart, I knew you would get it before I told you ) Positives : - line moved quick -people were nice Negatives: - drink was horrible - cup material was weak And flimsy -$7 ?? For a tea latte? Atleast make it taste good!! -$1.00 for oat milk ???!!! (Can I just bring my own next time???) Soooooo... yeah but no! First of all Americans, if your going to charge $7 for some milk and tea..it better taste like it's worth $7... otherwise why are we doing this? I mean it's like me thinking I'm lebron james but playing like...well, me.... (and it's not lebron james ) The cup is hot but no cover ( guess you want your fancy logo on the cup more than to protect my little fingers from burning)

Super cute coffee shop and they have super delicious donuts. Got one filled with Reese's and my friend got one filled with cookie cream. My coffee was very tasty, got the Hannah banana. Will definitely return. Very friendly staff too

Tried the Rivalry Breakfast Sandwich and the Lavender Vanilla Latte with Oak Milk. Both were great. Service was great and ambiance was chill with some Drake and Sza playing in the back. Great spot to catch a small bite and some coffee before heading to the wineries.

Wanted to try a local coffee spot to change things up since the coffee bean is a bit of a drive. Walked in the back end of the shop thinking it was the front, with guidance, I was welcomed into a very spacious dining area and the counter where we place our orders. Looking over the menu I asked for a popular breakfast sandwich and the Rival Breakfast Sandwich was recommended. I ordered two along with a cafe mocha and a chai latte. The sandwiches were good, however the tomato spread kind of threw off the favor flow. Perhaps it was just a little too much on our order. The coffees had a watered down taste and didn't quite give us a "pick me up". Perhaps their coffee is lighter than what we are used to. The facility is a pretty big space for a coffee spot, however the trendy vibe I got as I was passing by peaked my interest! It's a great spot to catch up with a group of friends or a morning meet with some co-workers. We would love to swing by again and try other items on the menu.

Rival Coffee is actually three coffee/ breakfast/ brunch places in one. They have a Sit-Down section to the right, as you come in. Straight ahead is an Order & Go setup. To the left is the Open Sitting area, which has a limited menu and is a little of both. We came here around eleven-thirty on a Sunday. There was plenty of parking outside. The Open section was moderately crowded, while the Sitdown section was completely empty, so we chose to sit there. We found the service to be uneven, with various servers appearing to take different parts of our order (coffee drinks & food, etc). We ordered our coffees as we sat down and waited a long time. Over fifteen minutes. Someone else appeared and took our breakfast order and said they would check on our coffees. Guess which arrived first? Yep, the food. We found the Breakfast Plater at $15.00 to be more than fair and generous. While it was visually appealing, it was sadly pretty bland. Since they goofed-up my food order, I was surprised that my replacement arrived before my Nitro drink. Go figure. We might come back at some point. But if we do, we will probably opt for the more crowded Open section. I guess they knew more about the service here than we did. Our tab ran us about $60, including gratuities. Three and a Half Stars. PS, they have an EV Charger outside.

The staff were amazing! The food and fresh coffee were great and definitely worth returning. I had a breakfast burrito and it was big enough that I almost could not finish it. My favorite experience was the amazing atmosphere and I guess you could say the theme is exactly what is needed. I wish there were more eateries and or coffee houses that had a Christian theme. They even have services, which I cannot wait to attend. I will return as often as I can get to Murrieta from Fallbrook! Thank you Rival Coffee for all you do and stand for!

First of all, we NEED you in Menifee! Thank you very much. The coffee is so good! I have tasted 3 different flavors, and all of them are so delicious! They are not oversweet, just perfect. I haven't tasted the food yet, but I can't wait. I saw they have donuts, too. The atmosphere is so nice and clean. A very nice place to hang out with friends or alone to do work or homework. And they have drive-thru!!

The rival breakfast sammy is incredible, the poblano egg sammy is also great! The burritos are ok but could use more going on, like their other items. We've ordered their beautiful donuts soo many times but they ALL taste the SAME! They taste great just all the same creamy filling no different flavors. Just misleading since they look and are labeled as such. Just a heads up when if you decide to get every flavor like we've done too many times. But overall a quick great breaki spot w a drive through!!

I came here this morning and all of the baristas are nice.. I am a fake coffee drinker so I ask for a recommendation and they hit it out of the park.. I got the crème brulee coffee with light ice.. They actually give you light ice unlike Starbucks lol.. I will definitely be back! P.S. The Nipsey Hussle quote is dope!

I went to Rival coffee a couple years ago when that's all it was. It was more of a coffee joint that had staple meals. They began to take really great items off their menu and just abide by a coffeehouse. I was a little disappointed when their menu depreciated, because that's what separated them from your average Coffee Bean. Sips + Eats is now a part of Rival coffee and the location has doubled in size since Rival coffee first occupied the space. We stopped in for Mother's Day, and they had a menu outlined just for the celebratory day. I'm certain if this location were in a more visible location, so many more people would have stopped in on a day like today. Everything from the positive service to the quality of our food and drinks was perfect. This location will quickly pick-up business if they continue to operate like they did today. Highly recommend!

Rivals food is TO DIE FOR!! everything I've ordered is sooo yummy. I usually get the rival sandwich (with no tomato spread) and it's big and juicy ! Their avocado toast is also good. Their tropical green tea is great!!! And their loyalty point program is the best! So many free items! Everyone is also very friendly

I love the variety this place has to offer! Yummy coffee, breakfast burrito and the daily choices of flavors of their donuts. This place has a drive thru which is always a plus when on the go.
