"River’s Bend opened in 1974 and drew crowds for decades, but stood empty for a few years until Steve Van reopened it in 2016. Van spent six months renovating the building, sprucing up the fireplace area and putting in a craft beer system. From a perch overlooking Duck Creek, the restaurant now serves traditional Wisconsin supper club fare, from cheese curds and French onion soup to steaks, ribs, broasted chicken and lobster, with a modern day beer selection."

Party of five all first-timers. Three of us ordered the prime rib dinner, one had salmon and one had shrimp alfredo. We started in the bar and then were taken to a table. The appetizer came out with our meal right behind it which was disappointing, our service once we were at a table was a bit less consistent and we had to actually find our waitress on a couple of occasions. The food was very good, a little more high-priced than we expected. We would definitely go back though.

Google
It is absolutely one of the best overall dining experiences I've ever had! The service was amazing, the atmosphere and views were excellent, and the food was awesome! We were not rushed and were able to enjoy appetizers, drinks, salad bar, dinner, and dessert without feeling like we needed to finish quickly. It's definitely a high-end dining experience!

We were looking for a good steak restaurant and came across Rivers Bend via Google. The service is excellent and the food is incredible. The wait however can be extremely long, we waited over an hour and half. I do recommend getting reservations early. I tried to call them when we were about an hour before arriving, however no one answered the phone, which is understandable when we saw just how busy they were! I must say their estimate of when we would be seated was spot on. They said a table would be ready at 7:55 PM and we were at our table at 7:50 PM. Too often you ask how long the wait is and they say 20 minutes and it takes closer to an hour to get a table. One of the people in our party wanted prime rib, however they were sold out. So if you have a hankering for prime rib get an early reservation. Three of us had the Rib Eye steak which was cooked to perfection. They were a little heavy on the seasoning on one of the steaks so if you dont like alot of seasoning it would be best to ask them to go light. One person in our party had Beef Stroganoff. She said it was the best she ever tasted. The salad bar is well stocked and filled with fresh items. The service was excellent even though every table was filled with customers. That says a lot about the staff. I highly recommend Rivers Bend, but get a reservation early to enjoy a taste of Green Bay.

First timers here. Right off the bat. The atmosphere was great. Had some cocktails which were fantastic. The servers were all friendly and the prime rib……was perfect. Recommended to come here and enjoy an evening

Google
Always a great supper club. The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is so friendly. The bar area is large and has a lot of natural light. I love the salad bar. I have tried many dishes here and I have not been disappointed. The scallops are delicious, their French onion soup is great, and their brunch is such a fun time! I got bottomless mimosas and my waitress never let it get lower than half way empty. I brought my family here and they all greatly enjoyed their meals.

Google
River's Bend has a supper club vibe. We waited in the bar, then brought our drinks to the table. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, but we did have to catch their attention as they rushed past. The spinach and artichoke dip & salad bar were excellent. Food came out much too fast, as we had barely begun appetizers, and bread came out after entrees. The prices were pretty high compared to the wow-factor of food & drinks displayed. 20% gratuity auto-added to table of 6. $398 + $65 bar tab.

Google
Very relaxed atmosphere with a great salad bar and the prime rib was perfect!!! My son had the Alaskan king crab legs and they were perfectly prepared.

Donna Overmann

Google
The brunch was far below expectations. Food was substandard and so overpriced. Some of the food was cold from sitting in a warmer too long like the french toast sticks and waffles. The prime rib had gray patches on it. We took one bite , told the waiter politely it was not very good and she didn't seem to care to remedy the situation, just walked off like we didn't matter anyways. So if you don't mind overpriced poorly prepared food the setting is peaceful. Helpful Hint There are two dining areas, be sure to ask to sit by the water.

Yelp
I had dinner at River's Bend on October 29th, 24. First I have to say I almost changed dinner reservation because of the 3.7 star review. Then I started reading all the reviews and realized there really was no merit to 80% of the bad reviews. someone complaining because they didn't want your dog in the restaurant where people were eating and complaints about prices and tips. Well I wouldn't want to sit next your dog while I am eating dinner and If the prices aren't for you then stay home or try a place that better fits your budget. That being said I think this place was great. The atmosphere was relaxing. The bar tenders were very attentive to the guests around the bar, and very friendly. Our waitress was great, she took the time talk with us and joke around even though they were pretty busy (for a Tuesday night). I had the bone in rib eye with a side of king crab legs. The steak was done perfectly and had great flavor. The king crab legs were good but let's be honest, a half pound of king crab leg isn't much, especially when you are pealing out the meat and your wife eats it!! But it was delicious. The salad bar was also very good. It was kept very clean and full right up to the end of the night. The river with the lighting on the other side was a perfect view while eating. After dinner 3 out of the 4 of us had ice cream drinks and they were very good as well. They left us sit there to visit long after our meal was done and probably after their serving hours. When we left we were the last guest in the restaurant. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Thank you. I don't know why this says I am from San Francisco. I live in Shawano county.

Yelp
As always Courtney's River Bend dinner went flawless. Excellent drinks...excellent ambience...excellent price...excellent dinner...excellent wait service by Stephanie...the steaks were superb as the chef nailed it!!! Love this place!!! We will be back next month!!!

Daniel V.

Yelp
Drinks, salad bar, food and service. Dining location on the river was awesome. Make reservations.

Brian F.

Yelp
Great staff! Brunch was average at best! I figured with the price-point of dinner, it would be much better. Fresher, more house made items. Just boring! Frozen veges, all sysco pastries and desserts. Just expected better from you.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
The place was situated on a river. With a spectacular view. From the minute we arrived the service was incredible. They were there for our every need. We ordered drinks and our meal. They have a salad bar you grab a salad at after ordering. I don't love salad bars because of germs but this one was extra clean. I ordered the sea scallops and my partner had the top sirloin. Both were to die for... my partner commented the scallops were best he has ever had. I really wanted the pink squirrel for dessert but I was so full and couldn't bring my self to have another thing... total bummer because they even draw a squirrel with chocolate in the top of the drink... so cool! The only thing better was the table full of male motorcycle dude in all leather. They had ridden over 2000 miles and stopped for dinner. The conversations coming from their table were not what you would expect. They were talking about buying mattresses and what the best kind was and why they like it and how they make there beds...it was cute to say the least!

Erin P.

Yelp
So great. Classic supper club with an awesome bar, amazing service and killer food. This place is a well oiled machine. I had the Walleye. It was outstanding--light, crispy, buttery. Kiss the chef. My husband had the Baked Cod with whipped potatoes. Both our meals were delicious and we closed out with a Pink Squirrel. Nom nom nom. Best ever.

Elliott L.

Yelp
This restaurant was so good. It is a nice restaurant with many options. There is even a salad bar included with every meal. There is a view of the the river and also nice staff. I got the t bone and it was very delicious with great texture. Check it out!

Ashley S.

Yelp
This is our favorite supper club in the area - and our go-to spot to take out-of-towners that are in the mood for a steak, seafood, and/or supper club! Ambiance. The restaurant is stationed along the river bend (duh!), so if you go during the warm months, you'll get to enjoy the water views! The bar is HUGE! Plenty of space to get there early, grab a seat at their huge, wrap around bar, and sit on some tasty drinks. My favorite, like any true Wisconsinite, is a brandy Old Fashioned. And they do a nice job at making them! Lots of staff working the bar, and plenty of TVs, if you want to catch a game while you wait. The dining area is huge - lots of seating. Call ahead and make a reservation in the room overlooking the river! Service. We have already have such friendly service - from waiters or bartenders! Food. You can't go wrong. Filets are great, walleye, shrimp, French onion soup, etc. Haven't had a bad meal here yet! They also have an ok salad bar. I am not a huge salad bar person - but if you're in to that sort of thing, people do seem to like it! Huge plus in my books? The fact they take reservations!

Kimberly J.

Yelp
Great upscale supper club! Everything is so good! Best steak I've ever had. Brunch is bountiful and fresh. Great views of the river. Definitely recommend reservations.

Sandy S.

Yelp
River's Bend was an incredible dining experience from start to finish! We visited in Saturday night, without a reservation about 7:45 pm. There were a couple open parking spots by the door and we were greeted at the Hostess Stand as soon as we entered the restaurant. We were told a 30 minute wait and we were thrilled to find a few open seats at the spacious bar. Again, we were greeted by a couple bartenders right away and we felt at home. A couple whiskey old fashioneds while we waited for our table. We had the best time at the bar. Before long, our table was ready. We were seated along the row of windows overlooking the river. Our orders were taken promptly and we were off to the salad bar. Everything was delicious! Entrees came as soon as we had finished our salads. Beef stroganoff was delicious and the filet mignon melted in my mouth. The herbed garlic butter on my steak was amazing! Just as delicious reheated at home! After dinner, we were off to the bar. Steve was an amazing bartender, splitting our ice cream drinks so we could sample both the grasshopper and the pink squirrel! Definitely will be back to try more ice cream drinks and enjoy a delicious dinner!

Jane R.

Yelp
Great food great service Beautiful scenery Comfortable barstools, excellent bartenders, Florida ceiling windows, punctual service

Gwendolyn E.

Yelp
We came here for dinner for our grandparents anniversary. We were a group of about 12-15 and it was absolutely amazing. We had a great server and the food was sooo good. My steak was cooked just how I like it and had the perfect amount of seasoning and my finances fish was cooked perfectly. The server seemed to enjoy our two year old daughter which was great bc other servers oddly seem bothered or thrown off by a child. All in all we will be back for any occasion!

Lora L.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at this fine establishment A true blue supper club. A table of four. Two had the prime rib. One fish plate. One pasta. All prepared wonderful. I don't normally like a salad bar because I'd rather be waited on. Hot bacon dressing !! It was a pleasant experience. The staff was amazing. The bar had great drinks. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing and yet just fun. Maybe it was all because I had so many brandy old fashions and the packers had a win....

Ernest G.

Yelp
Another great dining experience! I had the pork chop and my wife had the baked cod. Best pork chop I've ever had! She thoroughly enjoyed her meal. We enjoyed our meal at the bar. Tiffany and Dar are great bartenders. A friend joined us and ordered the spinach dip. I was lucky enough to enjoy some too. Favorite new appetizer! Can't say enough great things about this place!!!

Micheal M.

Yelp
Had a great experience at River's Bend. We sat down and talked for several minutes enjoying a great drink prepared by the bartender. The salad bar was fantastic, the food was plentiful and wonderful. Great staff

Roger J.

Yelp
Food was good, service was okay, ambiance was nice. Still looking for a restaurant in the area that I would go to regularly to enjoy the experience ;)

Sallie G.

Yelp
Was here with my husband. Son and DIL recently. We all loved the salad bar. Atmosphere is great. My husband and i both had filets which were done perfectly and just delicious. My son got Walleye which he liked. My DIL ordered shrimp and was very disappointed. It was very bland and not very good. I agree after tasting it. Since this was a special dinner to honor their anniversary and they were visiting from Florida we were disappointed she didnt enjoy her meal.

Donna T.

Yelp
I have changed the rating to a 5 star for the quality of steak and drinks. Kudos to Courtney for her prompt and caring response to my issue with the salad. They recognized there was an issue and acted promptly to correct it. We will be back and thank you again for the great customer service.

Shannon L.

Yelp
So, buckle up. Story time. I spent the day in green bay down from door county with my friend on her 50th birthday. After a spa day we decided to pick my puppy up from daycare and go have a nice dinner and bottle of wine. I called several places asking if they were dog friendly and when I came to rivers bend they confirmed yes they were. I walked in and the hostess were snooty to say the least. Borderline unwelcoming. I asked them as well if they were dog friendly BOTH girls said yes they were. I THEN asked my server for a bowl of water for my pup. She left us at the table 70 mins to even get a drink order. 2 PEOPLE came out apologizing for the delay. At this point we are there an hour and a half, we ordered 2 steaks a few appetizers and our sides. We got our salads from the salad bar and then sat down. About 30 mins after we ordered RIGHT as we walked back to the table with the salads a lady came out and informed us that they are NOT dog friendly and we should go. My dog was tired and being well behaved, and we had just ordered upwards of about $250 of food. My friend and I were devastated and were left scrambling for a dinner at this point 730/8pm. What an absolute awful way to treat a guest. And to top it off, I'm a fellow chef graduating culinary institute of America and Cornell, so I'm very mindful of how to act in restaurant settings as a professional curtesy. They ruined my friends 50th birthday. Shame on you. On the plus side the view was very pretty.

Billy V.

Yelp
One of the best supper clubs in the area! Great food, service and scenic views of the river. The salad bar is amazing as well! You won't leave hungry!

Tee D.

Yelp
Full disclosure: we only got the dessert drinks so the review is based on that and not the food. The drinks are so good. So very good. The white dove is my favorite which is why I ordered it twice. The brandy Alexander is also a winner. Service: impeccable. Sweet people that are attentive and even the customers are nice. Great place to go. Go for the dessert drinks and maybe try the food, why not?

S H.

Yelp
According to their website, the menu prices on Yelp's posts are way out of date! Some prices are double of what is listed on Yelp.

Christine C.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was abysmal. Hostess didn't alert the server we were seated. Result was our entree arrived one hour later.

Nicholas R.

Yelp
My favorite place to go out to eat after a packers game. The service is always warm and every staff member wants to make our night special. The steak always hits the spot and I love all of the classic preparations you can choose from. One of the best old fashions you can find in Wisconsin!

Aj B.

Yelp
Bartender Jason was great. Very welcoming during a busy rush and also recommended great food! Walleye is top notch

Mike S.

Yelp
Really great place. Excellent food and service, no question here. Not sure about the Supper Club part. This is an upscale restaurant with upscale food and drinks, upscale service and prices to match. Old Fashioneds were properly muddled and tasted excellent. My ribeye was a perfect medium. Upscale visit all the way around.

Michael Y.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Service was good. Entrées include the salad bar which in this day and age is kind of gross. I would much rather have a salad prepared by the kitchen. The Norwegian Salmon with bourbon glaze blackened was excellent. Bad is able to make basic cocktails only. I would visit again.

Dan R.

Yelp
My wife and I went there last night for our anniversary. We were able to get a table up near the windows and the view was spectacular. We waited about 15 minutes after we were sat waiting for our waitress. We asked somebody if they could send someone over and they did. The waitress was very apologetic and very polite. We understand these things happen. The food came and I had the ribeye and my wife had the fillet. Both were spectacular. I absolutely love the fact that there still is a salad bar out there. Which by the way, the liver pate was delicious. And everything was very fresh in the salad bar. The waitress did apologize again and offered us our cocktails for free. They did not have to do that, but they did. We greatly appreciated it. The place itself was beautiful and I would highly recommend going there again. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Derek M.

Yelp
Entrees are great, and appetizers are just alright. So far, this place has the best filet mignon cut I have tried in the Green Bay area, and the chef always cooks it spot on. The salmon is also really good, if you like seafood. Drinks are good, but could be better (margaritas have to be requested to be home-made, otherwise it will be made with a pre-mix) Overall, price is fair considering the amount of food you get, and the food is usually pretty good quality. Service has always been amazing

Lisa R.

Yelp
I have been here since I first moved to GB in 1988 and honestly it's been so long I can't remember what the experience was like so this review is from a new perspective. When we arrived the lot was full, usually a good sign, and I was glad our friends made reservations. Unlike a lot of places, they don't seem to have trouble having enough staff. This is good because the place is massive and it was full including a private event in another room. I was glad we were seated in the patio area, the scenery was better and it wasn't as loud. The service was good, especially considering how busy it was. I love that they still have a salad bar, it had just enough selection and was perfect for a before dinner salad, and hot bacon dressing! But is it's not included with your entree watch out. There were 4 of us dining and at our table we had rib eye, done just as ordered, sea bass, half rack of ribs, and I had the pork chop, also cooked perfectly. So here are the reasons for only 2 stars, the chef is super heavy handed in the salt department. The salt completely overpowered the favor of the glaze on my pork chop, I had to scrape it off and even then the pork chop was over salted. My entree came with a sweet potato and asparagus both of which were over cooked and had an unpleasant mushy texture. My friend said her rib eye was also way over salted. I ordered a cucumber basil martini and all I could taste was vermouth, there was one spec of basil but it had no hint of basil flavor, no garnish,I felt like I was served a warm glass of vermouth, it was awful. The biggest issue I have is the prices, the horrible martini I had was listed as $8 but I was charged $12. If the prices change, I get that but update your menu on-line so it's accurate. Also, the salad bar was not included with my entree which is fine, but let me know that before you charge me $12 for a tiny plate of lettuce, I definitely would have skipped it. The quality of the food is not worth the price and I won't go here again.

Kathy S.

Yelp
My husband and I went out to celebrate my birthday! The food was OK but it was not worth the price !! I got the bone in ribeye, just my meal was $64 , my steak was tough, it was cooked correctly but, it was tough. I had it cooked rare to medium rare, I have no problems with anything else, everything else great, the drinks the waitress. just how expensive my steak was ! My husbands prime rib was 31.00 , and that's reasonable! I just can't believe the price of my meal! No prices on the menu!

Rich D.

Yelp
We came in right before Happy Hour ended at 6pm and had a round of drinks at a great price before dinner. We were seated in a dining area that is all glass to look out over the river which was frozen. Our server was Betsy who was efficient and very sweet. Your entree comes with a side dish, warm bread, and a salad bar which looked fresh with a good selection. My wife ordered Mahi-mahi with broccoli and I ordered a New York strip with rice. It was pretty crowded so our food took awhile but it was worth the wait. Our food was prepared well and everything was delicious. The only suggestion we have is that the fish could used more seasoning. This restaurant is 10 minutes northwest of Lambeau Field and we plan to return again.

Melanie D.

Yelp
Food was not at all good seafood wasn't fresh food was bland the steak wasn't seasoned they give you a choice for butter but in actuality all the butters are the same!!! The service was great the food was horrible though!!

Don G.

Yelp
Went to River's Bend to celebrate a birthday. We have been there several times previously and always had a great meal. Saturday we ordered the prime rib and a ribeye. The prime rib was excellent but the ribeye was not. It was priced as "market price". The ribeye was half fat. We have had a lot of ribeyes and have never had one with this much fat. The market price was $70.00! For that price you should get a fantastic cut of meat. They gave us 17% of the ribeye which was $11.90. So we paid $58.10 for a fatty ribeye. Not a great birthday dinner experience. We also ordered 1/2 pound of crab which they forgot to make. We got our steaks and had to wait while they made the crab.

Darren M.

Yelp
Went there for Sunday Brunch on January 8th. Horrible experience. Food was very substandard for the $25 you pay for it. Powdered eggs, burnt bacon, supposed to be prime rib carved, but the guy was never at his station the 2 times i went through. Chicken was broasted, not that great either....then on top of it, they put an automatic 20% tip on the price. Buffet servers don't work that hard to warrant a tip that large

Pete P.

Yelp
This of course, is the preeminent football town. But I will use an Olympic analogy. I didn't take bronze, silver, or gold, I took MEAT! The filet mignon was amazing. Nice warm pink on the outside and an amazing crust! A word on the cocktails. Fantastic, "what could go wrong with an Old Fashioned?" (If you know the reference let me know) Answer? Nothing! My Old Fashioned preference, bourbon, sour, with mushrooms. I will visit Rivers Bend every time I come to Green Bay.

Doug M.

Yelp
First time here, and it was not a bad visit. Of course Saturdays are the main stay of most Supper Clubs, and they can get rather busy. We had reservations at 6 and everything was setup and ready to roll when got there. We were greeted by our friendly server and our drink orders were taken quickly. Again it was prime time Supper Club action so the drinks were a little delayed, but delicious. The Bloody Marys were tasty, and the rum runner was also well received. Kudos to the staff for the wedding gift to our newly weds. It was a small wedding and the dinner was their reception, perfect for everyone involved. Two of the seven at the table ordered the broasted chicken which probably put a little hiccup in the prime rib delivery system for tonight's special. It was about an hour that our table received 3 orders of prime rib (one cold), 2 orders of chicken (mashed potatoes cold), salmon and stroganoff. We notified our server and she took care of the cold to touch prime rib. Once we received our food it was quiet at the table for a bit, so that is a good sign. I think we try here again in the area, we will make reservations for earlier or at 7:30 pm or later as the place was quieter and you could hear each other.

Al V.

Yelp
Super birthday night at River's Bend! Thanks to the staff and management for making it a special day! Awesome place and nice people and great food!

Jared H.

Yelp
Really sad, my wife and I went out to eat here and were seated. Then we sat for 20 minutes while three other tables were seated around us and orders taken, while we sat with no water or drink orders. It will be awhile until we give them another try...

David N.

Yelp
Great salad bar, meal and drinks! A supper club staple of Green Bay for as long as I can remember. It's a well lit, relaxing place to dine. Its definitely NOT a t-shirt and shorts place. Young and old enjoy this great atmosphere, wait staff and very satisfying meals. You can't go wrong here! You want a great Prime Rib, so far this is one of the top cuts I've enjoyed around town.

Juan G.

Yelp
Went there for Mother's Day brunch. the food was subpar. they charges a 20% gratuity for removing your used plates what a ripoff. The so-called cheese cake was nothing more than jello brand kind of mix. The prime rib was under cooked. charges us 173$ for 4 adults and one child. plus 28 dollars for three drinks. They also stuck us all the way in the back in the banquet room. never again!!!

Conner H.

Yelp
This place is amazing. We were seated as soon as my family and I walked in. We were able to sit near the river so we had a great view. Our server Sarah was very nice and very attentive. I had gotten the walleye and I had no complaints about it it was perfect. After we had finished we got the carrot cake, and the chocolate cake. Both of which were delicious. If we're in the area we will be back again.

kyra j.

Yelp
First time coming to a supper club, so I want sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how upscale it seemed. The service was great! They were very kind and quick with the food and drinks!

Jeff H.

Yelp
The ambiance very very nice! The large, impeccably clean windows overlooking the river is fabulous. The staff was friendly and attentive and kept very busy. We went early on a Wednesday evening with reservations. Looked slower and probably wouldn't have needed them but I would suggest definitely getting reservations for weekends. We had the calamari appetizer, the lemon and butter sautéed shrimp with sweet potato fries and the prime rib the rice pilaf as our entrees. All was very good! I like the salad bar with the fresh ingredients. Most places no longer have them any more so it was a refreshing, Wisconsin style, supper club experience. Cost for the dinner tip and 4 cocktails was between 90 and 100 dollars.

David B.

Yelp
Came on a Friday with a reservation. Busy place. Found a couple seats at the bar and had great cocktails. Seated at 7 exactly on time and ordered soon after. Very nice salad bar - something I haven't seen in a long time. I went different with Salmon in a bourbon glaze which was quite good. My wife had a delicious pork chop. The problem for our meal was the hour wait for our entrees. Fortunately they were fresh from the kitchen. Our plates weren't cleaned up for a solid 30 afterwards with only 1 refresh on water and drinks. Yes it's time to be patient, yes it was a busy Friday but........ Overall a very good meal but the service and lengthy time took it down a notch or two. Sat at 7, 715 ordered, out the door at 9.

Derrick S.

Yelp
My wife and I made reservations here for our anniversary. This was the first time either of us had ever been here. We were really impressed! Their special was the surf and turf option which consisted of a queen prime rib and a lobster tail, your choice of side and salad bar. I chose this option and it did not disappoint! The prime rib was cooked perfectly. It was tender, delicious, seasoned amazing. Probably the best prime rib I have ever had! The lobster tail was also delicious. Way better than Red Lobster. My wife had the salmon with rice pilaf and she said it was all delicious. The salad bar was fresh and had a good amount of options. Out server was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The atmosphere was really inviting. We will definitely be back!

Kelsey H.

Yelp
Beautiful views-food-bar-ambiance accompanied by great service. Best supper club in town! Best apps: Mussels, crab cakes, or blackened shrimp cocktail Best entree: the pork chop, bone in ribeye add onions and mushrooms with broccoli and twice baked potato, garlic rosemary chicken, or the Chilean sea bass Best dessert: carrot cake Best Wine selection in Green Bay!!!

Emily K.

Yelp
We came in for my mom's birthday last night. We had 7 of us for dinner. We were seated promptly by the water which was a nice view. I ordered the salad bar and crab cakes for dinner. We were served hard dinner rolls to start which I could have overlooked if it was one or two rolls but it was the entire basket. The waitress then spilled my brother's entire drink in his lap. He was offered a free dessert to make up for this which was an okay offer. I did like their salad bar it even had hot bacon dressing. This was really the only thing that caused them to get two stars. Where it really goes downhill is the entrees. This place has a high price point. Most steaks are 25 plus dollars which would be okay if any of them came to our table properly cooked. My brother ordered medium rare and got a well done steak. He sent it back and it came back medium. My father ordered medium well and for lack of a better term it was burnt and charred. No amount of ketchup could save it. My husband ordered the beef stroganoff. Plain dry bagged noodles topped with tuff steak. There was no sauce to be found really. What was there was more like meat water. My crab cakes were over fried and the sauce that was served with them was one note in flavor. It had a side of what I think was coleslaw. I took four entire mouthfuls trying to decide what was in it so I could describe it to others. I could not because if you look at the picture it was completely over dressed. I wanted to like this place since it is under new ownership. The building itself looks great and the bathrooms are clean. Sadly you come to restaurants for food and service and this place is extremely lacking. $215 for a really poor meal we will not be back.

Yelp
River's Bend is one of our favorite spots to go for a great dinner. The bartenders are always so much fun and very skilled at their craft. Salad bar has great variety. The view is the best part! On a rare occasion we have had a less than par meal but almost always the food is excellent.
