Very hidden, but an absolute gem! First of all, Ro-Ho is SUPER CLEAN! The inside, the outside, almost spotless!
On to the food . . .
1. The taco- this was by far my favorite. The corn tortillas are superb! I don't know if the are homemade or bought from a vendor but they are the most superior corn tortillas ever! The carnitas are super moist and juicy, succulent meat chunks perfectly offset by crunchy little chicharrones, and sprinkled with cilantro, red onions, green salsa, and lime juice. The myriad of textures is perfect! I could indulge in one of these tacos every week, and their red salsa is absolute, literal fire. It opened up my sinuses and enhanced my taste buds! Add a few drops gradually, it is super hot!
2. Torta ahogada- Again, a great bunch of textures between the tender juicy meat, the pickled red onions (which if they ever decided to bottle and sell, I'd keep them on hand at all times!) shredded cabbage, radish, and a squeeze of lime juice. The one thing I feel would've taken this to another level would be cheese and toast the bread. I like the bread but it was a bit chewy, I think toasting it would make it a bit easier to bite. The red sauce they give you to dip it in is a bit too much of a tomato flavor for mer personally so I just didn't dip it.
3. The Nachos - The nachos are basically a deconstructed version of the taco. You have layers of beans, tortillas chips (which are again, superb!) meat, shredded cabbage, pickled onions, radish, and lime. Again, maybe it's just me but it was missing cheese!! I can't imagine a world where nachos don't have cheese. The flavor was good but it was just missing that cheesiness.
I would've given a 5 star, but the bread could've been toasted a bit on the inside, and cheese would've been a great addition to the torta and the nachos.
