Outstanding food! We had the bisque soup which was amazing. Be sure you order a baguette with your soup - don’t skip this! For entrees we had the Osso Bucco and Braised short rib, both were delicious.

This place was so cozy and so delicious! The pomegranate martini was fresh and strong and the fish and chips were crispy and sooo good!! The happy hour is what we came for and they had a lot of good options. Will be back for sure!!

The seafood was fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable, with Mr. Paul going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The ocean view was breathtaking."

We approached the entrance and were immediately struck by its stylish appearance. The hostess greeted us with a warm smile, and we mentioned that it was our first visit to the restaurant. She then seated us at a table near the entrance of the kitchen. The weather was lovely, and we inquired about sitting on the patio. Unfortunately, she informed us that they were setting up for a private party and couldn't accommodate our request. While the rest of our experience was efficient and the waitress always had a smile, the overall service felt a bit cold. Despite this, I have to talk about the food. I opted for the Seabass, and it was cooked to near perfection with wonderful flavors. If only the service had been friendlier, I would definitely make this dish a regular choice.

Google
This is really well decorated location directly in the heart of Bayshore overlooking the water. Very nice atmosphere and service was great, but the food is just very average. Overpriced and mediocre and for being so close to the ocean, I really expect my seafood to dazzle when the catch of the day is today. Probably won't be going back and by the way my fine folks, most plates are priced at 30$ and up. There's tastier seafood spots right here in the dusty desert. Without glamour it's really just another overpriced fast food joint.

Google
Food was ok. I had the ceviche, scallops, and calamari fries. The scallops were amazing, the ceviche was fine but seemed to lack creativity. They slapped on cocktail sauce to the ceviche to give it flavor. The Calamari fries were especially disappointing. I expected thick cut strips of calamari. These were the equivalent of shoe stringfries that were unfortunately overcooked. Might try again in the future.

As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by Devon. He had excellent recommendations on the menu. He made us feel at home. We shared the poke cevichos. Large chunks of poke on warm crispy chips, topped with an excellent sauce. The clam chowder is one of the best I've had. The Peruvian scallop has a very good aroma with a nice Wasabi bite. We shared the beet salad topped with feta, candied walnuts, and a perfect dressing. Justin did an excellent job as our server. Had a nice table on the front patio where we were able to take everything in on 2nd street

We had the best Sunday Funday here at Roe's the food service and the atmosphere were all exceptional!!!

Yelp
We had a great lunch! Roe is located on the busy area of Long Beach's 2nd Street close to the water. We sat in the patio area and it was beautiful. Peruvian Scallops - the scallops were fresh, but the yuzu sauce didn't go great with the scallops, it needed a bigger flavor punch Arugula & Beet Salad with Salmon was super yum, loved the candied pecans, pink peppercorns, and roasted shallot vinegarette. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Sweet Potato Fries - these were a hit! Super light and crispy. The garlic and parmesaen were good and I loved the dip! Love the cute space and outdoor feel. The trees in the restaurant make it special. Our server said finches come to visit the olive trees. Service was quick and friendly. Make sure to be patient with parking. It's a busy area with metered street parking only. Definitely recommended!

Rose L.

Yelp
Brought a guest here since he loves seafood and it was my first time as well. The restaurant is located on a busy street, but I was lucky to find a parking spot right in front. We sat on the patio with my dog, which was a nice perk since they allow pets in that area. Our server (I forget his name) was very friendly and gave us great recommendations. We ordered the clam chowder, raw oysters, Peruvian scallops, shrimp cocktail, poke cevichos, and lobster roll. Overall, everything was good except the Peruvian scallop; the condiment on it was sweet, which wasn't to our taste. It was worth trying once, but not something we'd order again. While the experience was pleasant, I probably won't return due to the distance, and the food didn't leave a strong enough impression to make me feel like I have to come back.

Yelp
Everything soooo good!! Where do I start?! The ambience was beautiful, services was very friendly and welcoming! Drinks were perfect for the night. We came Valentines night for donner. Had the steamers which were perfect starters. My husband got the Moscow mule cocktail (he loved it---very refreshing) We both got the sea bass--- PERFECTLY COOKED. And we had lastly the pear mascarpone. What a great experience! Glad we came

Yelp
Fresh, high quality seafood with great happy hour prices! Food: We love a good happy hour deal. I got the half dozen oysters ($3 per) and the ceviche tostada (I think $7). You can taste the quality and freshness of the fish. It was a good sized portion. Boyfriend got a hazy IPA & the shrimp po boy (not on happy hour). The regular price absolutely matches the quality of food. Service & ambiance: at first, we walked into the fish market which is to the right of the actual restaurant. You can get food to go and fresh seafood there. The cashier was super cool & walked us out to the restaurant. We sat on the patio, which had clear barriers so you don't get the windy breezes and car wind while eating. It was covered as well. Inside, the decor was cute and had live trees, like an outdoor garden feel. Full bar. our waitress was so prompt and had great pairing suggestions! Parking: this is second street, so it can get quite busy. Meter street parking or there are public lots around the block. This is a great spot for happy hour appetizers and a drink. I think the normal prices are 100% worth it for a date night. Definitely recommend!

Russ L.

Yelp
Had a great dinner at Roe. We got some happy hour starters. Enjoyed some really tender and flavorful calamari fries along with some oysters that came with a nice red wine migonette sauce. I enjoyed the bowl of Fishermans Stew that was loaded with fish, mussels, clams and shrimp. My BFF had a great plate of Pacific Sea Bass that was paired a tasty potato pave. Service was inconsistent at times but it was a busy night. The atmosphere was chill and enjoyable.

Loel T.

Yelp
Went for the first time. The place is nicely decorated. The staff is nice enough albiet not very engaging. They seem to have a unique take on their food with flavors and spices. Clam chowder had an odd taste. Far from the best I've had around town. I prefer more of a traditional style. The poke was good quality but a bit too spicy for me. The calamari, spicy as well and the breading was not crispy at all. They did have my favorite Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc though. Overall, probably one and done. Average food at a high price.

Julia V.

Yelp
I would return to this restaurant. It serves very good food that is seasoned and freshly plated.

Tracey V.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday since I was in the area and decided to do brunch. Was seated within 10 minutes of arrival, lots of open seating on the outside patio and inside. Modern bar and well decorated interior. Food: Poke Cevichos 3/5 : Some of the pieces of fish was hard and chewy, flavors were good and the jalapeños add a kick if you like spicy. Likely wouldn't come back again since this was pretty disappointing for a place with so many reviews and ratings. Many other restaurants in the area to try out

Yelp
Located in Belmont Shore, this restaurant is nestled in a cute little area close to the beach with lots of bars and shops. Great seafood place with excellent service. It doesn't have as extensive of a menu as say, King's Fish House, but the quality of the seafood was very good and there's something for everyone. The restaurant is smaller than King's and feels more intimate. Ambiance is upscale but retains a casual vibe. No dedicated parking lot but plenty of street parking, both metered and free, if you don't mind a short walk.

Jeff T.

Yelp
I love the idea of Roe Seafood, just over the bridge into Belmont Shores. It tries to fit a nice niche for higher-end yet still approachable seafood in classy sit-down atmosphere. I just wish the food were a little better for the price ($$$). VIBE There are two outdoor patios - the front which faces the street, and the lovely expansive back patio, which we always choose. They've got string lights and heat lamps and it feels very private. PARKING I'm usually lucky enough to score parking right in front of the restaurant on PCH even on Saturday night. Otherwise the side streets are usually not too packed. SERVICE The service is always very kind if slower paced. I imagine it might be faster if you're seated inside. Our last server was very gracious about replacing a dish for us (see below). FOOD * DO GET the Planchet Pacific Seabass ($33)! The meyer lemon emulsion ties this beautifully crispy-skinned filet together in a stunning way. The potato pave tastes like Thanksgiving, and it's all enveloped in this nice buttery scent. I longed for a veggie side to round it all out, but alas. * AVOID the strange pappardelle and short rib ($28). It sounds odd on paper with spinach and creme freche, but my mom went for it. Unfortunately it was unbearably salty, so we sent it back -- replaced with the seabass. * FINE is the cioppino ($33), which funny enough was almost underseasoned. It has a good amount of seafood in it, and I asked for a side of rice to sub for bread. I won't dream about it, though. We'll probably come back for the ambience and location, but for the price-point I just wish the food were a little bit better!

Chloe T.

Yelp
Yum yum is all I can say! We noticed Roe Seafood while driving down the road and decided to stop by later in the week after looking at the online menu. We made reservations and arrived early, but were still seated right away. The interior of the restaurant was lovely. It was an indoor outdoor concept, perfect for the California weather. My mom had the fish and chips and enjoyed them. I ordered blackened mahi, rice, and veggies and loved it. The staff members were very kind.

Maya D.

Yelp
I had a really nice experience here for a group holiday dinner. The space inside is really cute and nicely decorated. There's a bar area as well with a TV which is perfect if you want to pop in for a game. Although we had a large group, they were able to accommodate and provide great service. I ended up getting the streak frites which had a good flavor and they gave me a ton of french fries. Nice wine selection and everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal. It was pretty quiet for a Thursday night, so I hope more folks check them out!

Christopher T.

Yelp
Great place for hangout with friends with good foods and good & friendly services. Love to go here and sit inside under the tree or in the backyard with lights hanging overhead. Drinks here are great...just a chill place in the hood.

Tiffanie P.

Yelp
The seafood soup is delicious!!!! Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Or I'll order the same fabulous soup.

Jetzabette A.

Yelp
We love the atmosphere! The food is great especially the fish special. I really enjoyed the snapper. The service was amazing our server was very attentive. I definitely recommend it.

Phil S.

Yelp
Food is outrageously good. Super cool surprise inside the restaurant to behold. Much to like.

Katya Z.

Yelp
I wish Yelp let me do half stars because I would give them a 3.5. Out server was patient with us and made sure we had what we needed. I got the baby lettuce salad with salmon. The dressing was creamy but not too heavy - it had a lightness to it. The salmon was crispy on the top but pretty soft in the middle. I wasn't a big fan of the polenta croutons but I think I just don't like polenta. Overall, it was a decent salad.

Yelp
Roe Seafood is a casual eatery at the east end of Belmont Shores. The first thing that will strike you is the decor. They attempt to bring the outside in, with two live large trees and a general wood motif. The front of the restaurant is open to a patio and the street, and there are skylights throughout. On this cold winter night, the aforementioned patio area was tented, and toasty thanks to heat lamps, which is where my family sat. We got good service from Ashley M. I got a chance to try all entrees, here are my thoughts. I loved the Squid Ink Linguini (A+ grade), it is filled with plenty of ocean treasures, and is a nice size portion. The Sesame Crusted Salmon (B+ grade) was delicious, a much lighter dish, ideal for a health-conscious individual with a modertate appetite. My wife got her favorite vice, the lobster roll, which was buttery and had plenty of lobster, it also came with a side of fries and two nice dipping sauces, (B+ grade). They also have some great seasonal scratch drinks. In our case, we enjoyed a pomegranate martini and a picnic lightning, hazy IPA, both were very tasty. Being a beer fan, the hazy from Brouwerij West in San Pedro was outstanding. We enjoyed our night out. You will find plenty of street parking, which runs until 7pm, after that it is FREE.

Janet M.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and enjoyed the most delicious Gin & Tonic. The bartender was so nice! The restaurant was beautiful!

Anders Christofer C.

Yelp
Good food and cool location. A bit pricey but they have lots of options. We have been here several times and we have both been sitting on the patio in the back, the front, inside and at their "market" section. Their food is always fresh and they have very good service with very nice personnel. This time we went to the market section and got fish and chips and something to drink. They have free filtered water inside as well which is a plus. ...I would recommend the children's menu fish and chips as they have better bread to fish ratio. The adult versions are just to large and makes the fish almost every time slightly overcooked. In any case we like this place and will definitely come back.

George W.

Yelp
Incredible!! Let me start with the Poisson Cru, which is a MUST TRY! We didn't come in here knowing what it was, but this is a creamy ceviche style dipping dish, which includes shrimp and fish in a coconut sauce. The chips served were fresh and the whole dish was a fantastic surprise! Cioppino was delicious, and came with a piece of toast that complemented the seafood perfectly. Sea bass was phenomenal as well, very tender and soft, cooked to really let the flakiness of the meat shine! Service was so friendly and helpful. I love the ambiance too, with a view of 2nd street and all the interesting things that go on past the sidewalk.

Ramon J.

Yelp
We went for the Dine Out Long Beach menu last night and definitely not disappointed from the cocktails all the way to the selection of great dishes. Bee kind coctails is wonderful. We ordered the Grilled Prawns and Heart Medley and Shellfish Bisque ( both great starter dishes ) Then we move to the Main Course Simply Grilled Black Cod and Pan Roasted Duck Breast ( excellent dishes ) properly seasoned and perfectly cooked cod and duck breast ) And for the kill, kabocha Squash cheescake (excellent) and Vanilla Crème Brulee We also had great service, Sophia is great, we can tell it's understaffed but she manage to give great service with a smile ! Great Job Sophia

Barb B.

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday evening for a girlfriends birthday. Easy seating, beautiful ambience with two full live trees with patio lights, covered in it very warm and inviting. The items I ordered : Sea bass - crispy and great texture 4 Peruvian scallops (raw) 5 Arugula and beets salad 4 not pictured Spicy steamers 5 Bday dessert - meh My favorite if all favorites is the spicy steamers. Nice flavor, rich wine broth. Sooooo savory and their sourdough bread to soak up the yummies. Sea bass was my next fav but certainly nothing unique that you couldn't find anywhere. Peruvian scallops were nice tang with fresh wasabi and ponzu sauce. Everything else was just above average but not spectacular. They have a market next door that sells fresh seafood. May have to try their poke next time. Spent $100 including tip (no drinks). Great service! Cute date spot if you need one in 2nd Belmont.

Yelp
This is our 4th or 5th time here as we have always enjoyed Roe's Big Seafood tower and usually their super friendly service here. Our cousin was in town just for the day so we decided to take him to somewhere with a SoCal vibe and yummy seafood. We remembered that their outdoor seats were super chill and had a nice weekend brunch vibe. We got seated outside but didn't realize that it was house fly season and it got worse and worse as we sat there. Especially once the seafood tower and other dishes came out. The waiter was super friendly and nice to us when we first got seated so I thought he would be accommodating if we asked him to move us. After asking him to move, he just said it's house fly season and it isn't really that bad right now. His advice was just to eat the food faster so the flies wouldn't hang around. However, we hadn't seen our cousin in such a long time so we just wanted to chat and catch up over some seafood. Not just stuff our faces and leave. That was the entire point of choosing this place for a relaxed brunch. We checked with another staff member who was outside adjusting the sun umbrellas. He gave us a couple of spinning fan devices that were used to scare away the flies. That didn't work either as we were still getting the same amount or sometimes even more house flies. We told him that we wanted to move inside. He asked us if we could move all the food by ourselves to the new table inside. Which is ridiculous. Who would ask their customers to move the food inside on our own. Especially a heavy and wet seafood tower!?? So I went inside to find our original waiter and told him we wanted to move inside. He seemed reluctant to move us and said there will be flies inside as well so it may not make a difference. He was looking at me and thinking you chose to sit outside so it's your problem to deal with. He finally answered, "If you really want to do it then fine but, I won't be able to do anything if there are flies there too. It will be the same as outside. So they finally moved our stuff and did a very half ass job moving our stuff. They left half the stuff at the old table outside and we had to keep asking for things again. Like chopsticks, soy sauce, water, water cups, plates etc because they just left it on the outside table. It felt like everything we asked them for they were showing us their face of "what a hassle" or didn't answer us and just got it and dropped it off at our table. It felt like we had greatly inconvenienced the serving staff because we had requested to move away from dirty house flies. At the end we didn't even bother asking them for stuff as we didn't want to inconvenience them anymore or get any more of their attitude. The food was actually delicious but service was terrible. Since our cousin was visiting we didn't want to make a scene so we just sucked it up and stayed and tried to make our cousin feel comfortable. If it wasn't for our cousin we would have asked for the manager, complained and then left. Although this place has amazing seafood, it is unfortunate that we will NOT be coming back here and Roe seafood has lost a repeat customer. They really need to improve their customer service and actually make their guests feel welcomed. This place did not make a good impression and definitely not a place to take someone who is visiting for a good time. Instead this place made us feel like we were not wanted there.

Annjanett N.

Yelp
The place was not crowded when we showed up. We were quickly greeted by the girl behind the register. The food was good. I could not complain but i am not so sure i will make the drive from LA. The food came out quite quickly from when we ordered. The oysters were fresh and tasty but i was missing some spiciness on them. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There is very little seating in the inside of the corner place (i believe there are two restaurants). We sat in the outside seating watching people walk by on the sidewalk. Everyone was cool and we got to people watch. 4 stars as for the pricing i would expect restaurant seating.

Rosa R.

Yelp
Definitely a great location to come back to. I'm rating 4 stars only because I didn't get to taste dinner plates. We had appetizers and they were so good! The one small thing is my oyster had a hair . So I asked for it to be returned . Manager was super cool and gave us an entire new order. Service was great! And we're definitely coming back !!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Jacquie C.

Yelp
Long Beach gem. Indoor and outdoor seating! Trust me! I love the drink and food menu. Great selection of spirits and wine.

Evan K.

Yelp
One side is a fish market; the other side is a restaurant here at Roe! My girlfriend and I enjoyed our Wednesday evening on their outside patio sitting on 2nd Street! The vibes are very chill, simple, and modern. We liked the inside aesthetic, with the tree growing in the middle of the restaurant. There was even a live performer singing and playing the guitar. We got seated right away, and our server was so sweet; she was bubbly, easy to talk to, and gave us some good recommendations. I had Fish and Chips ($23), which came with two pieces of crispy cod and some good ol french fries. They were decent but nothing to write home about. The Pappardelle and Short Ribs were great; the pasta felt light but was flavorful from the short ribs. I would get this next time I come here! The food was great here but was on the pricier side for me.

Raquel M.

Yelp
I am usually solo at Roes since I love to go here before i walk on the beach. My favorite dish is the clam chowder! It's so hearty and a true comfort food. One of the best in Long Beach, IMO. I always add the bread loaf, which takes the calorie count up but hey, I did say I go walking after. I sit at the high top next to the bar and people watch, or scroll my phone. The service is always attentive.

Jamie W.

Yelp
Our go-to place this trip! I even wrote about them in this week's Substack because they have been stellar on variety of dishes. https://open.substack.com/pub/jamieweilwrites/p/a-mermaids-tale-about-full-time-travel

Ernest S.

Yelp
Tried this place and it was pretty good. Menu isn't very big but just right. Salmon was the best in town for sure, the lobster roll was different but fresh with flavor and taste. The chicken sandwich was fire and the margarita was on point, however the fries weren't very good.. I love that it's fresh and not frozen but you need to cook them longer when you prep them daily!! This is a must try!!!!!

Sharif A.

Yelp
A solid 3.5 but a few things could've easily raised it to 4. This was our first visit and the menu was different from what we had seen online. Some basic expectations of a seafood restaurant were missing from the menu. Normally I'm not a fan of too much chatter from the waiter but some chatter would've been helpful here. For example, is this your first time here, let me tell you about our menu, what you can order off menu, etc. We were blind and ordered from the dinner menu. After seeing an item being carried to another table, I asked another waiter what item that was, and sure enough it was from the lunch menu we had seen online. Apparently you can still order from it even though we weren't given one. Ended up ordering calamari fries, sesame salmon, planchet pacific sea bass, and a few cocktails. 5 stars for quality of the fish, they were perfectly cooked and tasted well; however, something seemed missing from both entrees. The sea bass needed a vegetable and the salmon needed a starch. I had to steal some potato from the sea bass to make the salmon work. The calamari was great but the cocktails weren't impressive. Could just be a personal preference. Overall, it's a large restaurant, nice ambiance, good service, and decent food. But it's on the pricier side and portions are small. If you have money to burn, give them a try or look into their happy hour.

Margaret C.

Yelp
Food was good enough. Nothing to make us want to return. Service was blah! No personality. No engagement. No hospitality. Would've been nice to just hear "Happy Anniversary" from our server. That's all. Not looking for anything free. No singing. Just acknowledge us since we're celebrating our anniversary with you. She definitely knew from conversation and we put that we were celebrating our anniversary when we made the reservation. Sometimes it's the little things that make guests want to return.

Blanche M.

Yelp
So, we love Roe. We come here a lot. I actually thought I had already left a review... come to find out now I hadn't. We absolutely adore the back patio area and inquired about having our son's first birthday party there. Gillian, the ever so kind, gracious and highly professional events manager, was an absolute dream to work with. I really can't speak highly enough of her. We had some strict dietary requirements which she patiently helped us with. The menu we came up with was so versatile and delicious! I especially loved the Greek yoghurt & berries, the arugula & baby beet salad, and the captains platter... all incredible! The party was yesterday and I literally want to go back today to eat there again! All our guests raved about the food and the ambiance... It really was a dream event; everything I could've wished for and more! If you're ever looking for a space to have a party, Roe is IT! We booked the whole patio, but you can get half too. Gillian is so flexible and accommodating. I was able to leave everything in her hands so that I could enjoy my son's party - it was wonderful! I'm already looking forward to the next party at Roe!

Rachel K.

Yelp
LOVE the ambiance of the back patio! It's so romantic and relaxing. Low lighting. String lights overhead. Olive trees and brick patio. Great place for a first date! Our server, Ashley was very nice and gave us lots of great recommendations! She practically guided us through our entire dining experience and we were super happy with all her recommendations. Great service and great pacing on all items! The food itself was good, but not great. We started with the sashimi plate. Loved the fresh wasabi but expected fresher fish. Then for entrees we ordered the seabass. It was delicious but Nothing heart pounding. Overall very happy with the food. But not the best seafood I've ever had! Still think Boathouse is Better in comparison. Would certainly be happy to return here though. Overall really happy with the service, ambiance, and food!

Helena D.

Yelp
I booked a reservation at Roe a month in advance, eager to celebrate my dad's birthday. After spending time looking for street parking on a busy Saturday night, we arrived only to find the restaurant closed for a private event. We received no notice or communication about the closure. We overheard as we were leaving, that we weren't the first to show up with a reservation that night. Yet when we approached the staff, they were dismissive and unapologetic. No acknowledgment of their failure to inform us, no apology, and no effort to make things right. Between the wasted time finding parking, the lack of communication, and the nonchalant treatment from the staff, the whole experience was beyond disappointing. I hope they seriously rethink how they handle both reservations and customer service in the future. Needless to say, I won't be dining here in the future.

Lindsay G.

Yelp
This is by far the best restaurant in Long Beach. We came here to celebrate my new position, so we splurged on good quality seafood/american food. The waitress was friendly and recommended the best dishes. It is $$ but the price is worth the quality of the food. I can't wait to have an excuse to come back! Yo

Chela M.

Yelp
I really like Roe's and highly recommend it. The food is yummy and so are the drinks. You're extra lucky if you have "Chase" as your waiter--he is fabulous, kind and professional. The ambiance is lovely too.

Vincent S.

Yelp
Yummy. As a pescatarian, I delight in a great seafood restaurant and one with an entertaining streetside vibe. Bravo to Roe for encapsulating both, and even with a band on an evening in the past, to which I cajoled a dance with a friend amongst the tables bandside.Let's encourage more great Belmont Shore eateries of the same. Cheers, Vincent Serhan, Vista Sotheby's International Realty Dre01254997

Ingrid M.

Yelp
The fish & chips are one of the best around. Great vibe, get a little loud when busy; but always fun. Cocktails are good & fresh. On the higher end of pricing.

Rose C.

Yelp
Walked in to a nice, eclectic interior dining area that opens out to the front patio. There was a full bar and also a back patio for additional seating. The hostess was pleasant. Our server on the other hand gave off a professional but aloof vibe. We weren't asked if we would like any drinks. The place was empty but it took a bit for our server to take our orders and then disappeared until the meal was over. Although service was subpar, the food made up for it. We had the Pacific Oyster on the Half Shell, Planchet Pacific Sea Bass, and Prime Petite Filet. Each dish was very good. We ended our meal on a good note with the crème brûlée.

Joyce F.

Yelp
i needed to try this place and i'm glad i did. i did the market side as i had my dog with me so we sat outside. i ordered the clam chowder and 3 oysters and my dog got the burger patty ($10). i thought both were tasty. staff friendly enough. i knocked down a star for the $10 dog patty.

Yelp
First time for brunch. Roe always a hit with our family. Fish menu items are very fresh. They also offer raw items! Brunch menu offerings are great. If you are more in the mood for breakfast or feeling like lunch, plenty to pick from. Special brunch cocktails are offered as well.as there usual great offerings. We started with with biscuits with maple butter (brunch only offering). Very yummy! We ordered Mimosa, Bloody Mary (a must for my husband), and Marlais. All excellent and the Bloody Mary came with a nice shrimp. You can tell their cocktails are made from scratch vs mixes. Of course we had to have coffee, again excellent. Ordered Lobster Roll, Fish & Chips, and a Fish Sandwich. All were great! Fries are seasoned just right! The chipotle tartar sauce is very good! We have been here many times over the years. Happy hour weekdays with food specials. Some nights they have live music. Fish Tacos are the best around. Highly recommend trying out their happy hour! Although they specialize in Seafood, plenty of options for land lovers. Service was excellent. Very busy today yet our server made sure to check in with us as did the manager. They have a lovely outdoor patio in the back. The entire restaurant has an open feeling to it. Great vibes too.

Yelp
Ambience was excellent and the food and service were good. They have street-side patio, private patio, indoor, and bar seating. Happy hour menu prices were reasonable with a variety of choices for different palates. The biggest drawback was - and always will be along PCH - finding parking.

Yelp
The food, service and ambience are always stellar, as are the libations. If you like seafood, this is the best I've found in Long Beach.

Yelp
Fabulous ambiance and service, the moment we walked in. The seating is offered indoors or out in their lovely patio. We were served chilled water in a bottle right away, always appreciated. I ordered a cup of their clam chowder, no photo. It was very thick, packed with huge clams, robust flavor, just enough potatoes and celery; would definitely order again. Hubby ordered the lobster roll and fries. The roll was packed with lobster mixed with a delicious seasoned sauce that overflowed the french roll, so filling. I ordered the fish plate, Mahi, grilled veggies and brown rice. The fish portion was a very good size, yay. Plenty of veggies and a cup of rice. I was so full, but I still ordered creme Brule and the tiramisu, fabulous! The cappuccino was also very good. We will be back! Update we have been back 2 more times with family members, and we all enjoyed our entrees. Brunch was amazing, as was dinner the next day

Yelp
My first time visiting on my birthday 7-26-23 I started the meal with three oysters, you don't have to get six or a dozen you can get as many as you individually want. I thought that was amazing. Then I ordered a cup of clam chowder, and the Pacific Cross shrimp as my main dish. I also paired it with a Pinot Grigio wine. The waitress was beyond amazing. She made the best suggestions and was super knowledgeable and friendly. The oysters were perfectly creamy, and they had all of the side necessities that you need to eat with oysters. The clam chowder was some of the best clam chowder I've ever had, and I've been to the Pacific Northwest where they're known for that. The Pacific cross shrimp was both delicious and unique. The arugula salad base was perfect. We finished with the tiramisu dessert, and it was extraordinary I quickly added this place to a must visit every time I'm in the area.

Yelp
It had been a while since I dropped in at Roe Seafood as the last time I visited was for lunch shortly after they had opened here in Belmont Shore. Nothing stood out during that visit, but, having visited Roe Seafood last night for dinner, I felt compelled to write a review. I ordered the sea bass while my wife ordered the cioppino; both of which we devoured. The potato that came with my sea bass was interesting: it was a tasty block of sliced and fried potato. We also shared a half dozen oysters, that we both found delicious (again and in my usual dumdum fashion, we ate the oysters before even thinking to take photos of them)! We also enjoyed the Ti-Roe-Misu and a cup of coffee, which we, again, forgot to take photos of. The service we received was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The ambiance was excellent as we enjoyed the soothing sounds of a musician performing in the back corner of the restaurant. He did a great rendition of Bill Withers' "Lovely Day" as we sat in the covered outdoor patio, which was kept warm due to multiple heaters strategically placed in that area of the restaurant. It was warm enough to remove my fleece hoodie and dine in just my cotton tee. Not once did I feel a draft! I also found the men's restroom very clean and well maintained. We look forward to returning to Roe Seafood to try out the different items on the Happy Hour Menu!
