Yelp
Roe Seafood is a casual eatery at the east end of Belmont Shores. The first thing that will strike you is the decor. They attempt to bring the outside in, with two live large trees and a general wood motif. The front of the restaurant is open to a patio and the street, and there are skylights throughout. On this cold winter night, the aforementioned patio area was tented, and toasty thanks to heat lamps, which is where my family sat.
We got good service from Ashley M. I got a chance to try all entrees, here are my thoughts. I loved the Squid Ink Linguini (A+ grade), it is filled with plenty of ocean treasures, and is a nice size portion. The Sesame Crusted Salmon (B+ grade) was delicious, a much lighter dish, ideal for a health-conscious individual with a modertate appetite. My wife got her favorite vice, the lobster roll, which was buttery and had plenty of lobster, it also came with a side of fries and two nice dipping sauces, (B+ grade).
They also have some great seasonal scratch drinks. In our case, we enjoyed a pomegranate martini and a picnic lightning, hazy IPA, both were very tasty. Being a beer fan, the hazy from Brouwerij West in San Pedro was outstanding. We enjoyed our night out.
You will find plenty of street parking, which runs until 7pm, after that it is FREE.
