Writing this review as I'm having my last bite of curry puff from this stall.
I wanted to try the sardine curry puff, but it was already sold out (at 1pm on a Monday). I ended up getting the potato chicken & egg one instead. The puff pastry was very light and airy, and while it tasted buttery, it didn’t feel satisfying. It was a bit too “hollow” and flaky without that richer, more substantial bite you’d expect from a good curry puff. At $2 a piece, it felt a little pricey for what it was.
Overall, I’d rate the chicken curry puff a 6/10; not bad, but not something I’d go out of my way for. Stall owners were really friendly though! Giving this spot 5 stars for their service :)
