Have been wanting to try this curry puff for a while after hearing so much about it. As a curry-puff lover who has tried many popular ones, this chicken potato puff is now at the top of my list. The pastry is buttery and thin, the filling is generous and flavourful, and the proportions are just right. Hope the quality stays and the legacy lives on—kudos to the young hawkers! Also tried the pineapple tart, and it’s lovely too.

We were the first customers of the day and purchased 2 curry puffs which they had just fried. At $2 each, they seemed expensive until we noticed that the filling contained chicken meat, which justified the higher price. I ate mine while it was still hot and found it too hot to fully appreciate. My partner ate hers an hour later when it had cooled down and commented that it tasted good.

Their story of giving up their careers to keep this traditional curry puffs biz for the lady’s dad going touched me. We could have this familiar tasks because of them. Nice and hot okd school curry puff that's filled to the brim. $2/puff is quite reasonable given the size and stuffing. Mine had a whole strip of chicken breast and a quarter egg. Flavor of the filling is also good and balanced.

$2 chicken curry puff. Thin skin, fried crispy without feeling greasy. Filling was ok, has egg, though I’m not sure it adds to it. Had better curry puffs, but this one is ok for a snack.

Small sized curry puff that is packed with filling. The potato is nicely cooked, alongside with approximately one eighth of an hard boiled egg. Outer crust is crispy and not oily. With the given sizing at $2, there might be better possible options.
