Roma puts nearly all other Italian restaurants in Vegas to shame. Believe me, I have been to them all. The empty plates speak for themselves. The quality, on point. The portion, JFC (forgive me, Lord). The price, you almost wonder how they're making money. Service was extremely well-executed, something I have never seen before; all the servers working together as a team on all tables, all customers. Multiple rounds by the supporting staff in cleaning the tables, offering water. The crowd is older. This place isn't the place you are sitting on your phone like a goombat. We had our children, make sure that yours are well-mannered as well. It's that kinda place, like you are in someone's home. Respect, I like it. Class. We'll be back, you've duly earned our business. Had my mother in from out of town, we're from Jersey, so you know we're ready to talk our sh*t. Not one bit, actually the opposite. My mother and wife were joking that it felt like we were being punked, but in a GOOD way, because of how pleasant everything is/was. Ooft, when my wife and mother are happy, kids are licking the plates, and we are actually getting what we are paying for (a lost art, that Roma has mastered btw), I know that we're in a good place. I'm only upset that we've wasted so much time, money, and effort going to other Italian spots in the area, because Roma is THAT good. (Trying to scam the family into going to snack on one of their colossal subs as I am typing this) 5 stars, well-deserved. Chicken Marsala Chicken Parmesan Calamari BONUS. If you've read this far, the hack is right here. The plates of entrees (chicken, beef etc) come with a side penne with their tomatoes sauce (fresh tomatoes crush with seared garlic pointed with sweet leaf basil) or aioli toss. Ok, it's a "side", but if you have kiddos, they can share. That, along with their snacky warm garlic bread... ...ok, I'm going to get some of their subs now. Bye! PSS. The cake slices are good for like 3+ people. Edit: I'm here right now, 4/4, and I ordered linguini gamberi e funghi and chicken Marsala via phone, here to pickup, and only the linguini gamberi is ready and waiting for them to cook the Marsala that I ordered. Now, my other food will be cold and I'm wasting my time on my lunch break, which is why I had called in the first place. This is why I almost never provide a 5-star review without going more than once. And, that's how a business goes from 5 stars (4/1) to 3 stars only a few days later. There's not even many people here and certainly no one at the register area (been waiting for 10 minutes and no one has come here the entire time). Oversight, yes. Does it mean anything to me, yes. This is why people pay to eat out and not make food at home, the convenience. Probably won't be back. (1st photo from 1st visit, 2nd is me just waiting in an empty restaurant for my food)

Google
Roma Deli never disappoints! I had the Fettuccine Alfredo and WOW …it was bomb! The sauce was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they put real love into their cooking. The service was superb from start to finish. They were very friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you’re craving authentic Italian food and great vibes, Roma Deli is the spot. I’ll definitely be back! 🍝🇮🇹

Google
I used to just love Roma Restaurant 8 months ago. I have spent over $800.00 trying the so called authentic Italian food and today I'm searching for another Italian place that makes a good sandwich mama Mia style. It's a sandwich and don't get me wrong I have paid $132.00 for 2 lasagna plates with 2 Canolis. And nada comaniche once again. Thanks for trying hard Roma. I'm moving on

Google
There are only a few positives so I'll start with those. Reminds me of a little hole in the wall Italian place which I used to go to while growing up and spend an evening with the family. Quaint, homey. The owner did come to 'only' my table on several occasions. Which was nice but after seeing how the rest of the staff acted, I'm not sure it was for the reason I hoped it to be. Our server was Anna. But for some reason the little Dominican server 'George' was constantly checking on my date, not me, just my date. That's pretty unprofessional. Giving her winks and head gestures like he was interested in her. Whether my date was being cordial and giving him attention or not is not the question. A server should not be doing that to a guest. Then the busser old lady, who ironically I've had problems with before, seemed to be running on the vibe and trying to get my attention. I was not even slightly interested. She kept trying to take my plate before I was done. But then when I showed her that I was annoyed, she began acting like she didn't speak English, which I knew she did because, like I said, I remembered her from before. She was practically pulling my plate out of my hands. It was extremely rude. I was tempted to tell the owner but I was on a date. I mean, clearly she could tell this was a date so that seemed intentional to ruin the vibe. $150 bucks for two is not a cheap vibe to ruin. This is something a kid at a fast food place would do. Newcomers : Beware So about the food. I had the salmon with lemon sauce. It was ok but it didn't come with anything but 3 pieces of shrimp and a bland sauce. Zero flavor. Oh it did come with this pathetic looking cup of pasta. Sauce was just thrown on top. No pride in that. Salmon was cooked decently though so I scarfed it down just so I didn't have to think about the 35 bucks I was spending. My date got some kind of chicken dish. I wish I had taken a picture because it literally looked like scraps of chicken breasts that they didn't even pound out evenly. Which is probably why it was drier then the bread they served. But it's like they knew it was dry because they brought her an extra saucer without even asking. Which also didn't really jump out at me like it was something worth 30-some bucks. Didn't have any seasoning. I don't think the cooks are Italian because they would be embarrassed to put these dishes out. Extremely disappointing dishes. I was hoping for professional courteous service. It was the furthest from that. I was hoping for a flavorful dining experience, it was nothing close. Anna was actually nice but the rest of the crew ruined everything. I was sitting outside in my dates car chatting while they closed and when they came out, they sat, staring at us standing just a few yards away. Just horrible nasty people.

Google
First time going with a friend.. amazing Mozarella Sticks. Pricey? I'd say it's worth it. Actually seasoned breading and so much filling with a really robust tomato sauce. Free bread and the Spaghetti Carbonara was SO rich and amazing. I highly recommend it. Lovely service and atmosphere as well

Yelp
I love Roma Deli - when you think old school authentic, Roma is it. For a great Italian Sandwich on hard crusted bread - it's here. The meats are sliced thin and fresh on their cold sandwiches. The meat flavors are delicious. This is my favorite Italian sandwich in the valley. Their dessert case is all yum. I've had their Tiramisu several times before and it is fluffy and light, it's really good. Their lemon tart is good as well. Their spumoni is a big scoop of ice cream in a chocolate shell. Their pasta dishes are also of generous portions!

Yelp
What a cool little spot. Everything tasted completely homemade and was cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Anna, was super friendly on just a joy to speak to. All of her descriptions were perfect! The atmosphere is quaint and local, almost like you' are in a friend's house for a good time. I got the carne supreme pizza and the fried mozzarella..... WOW! The fried cheese was not oily, the pizza was super thin and the crust was ultra light and super crunchy - definitely not soggy . The pasta dishes are very filling so plan on leftovers. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
An absolutely amazing find. This is a top tier restaurant that could be a staple wherever it is. It is small and unassuming. It has a small wine shop attached to it. When you walk in you're greeted by one of the employees who seats you at a table. The lunch menu consists of a few soups, some salad options, then a list of hot and cold sandwiches, pizzas, an extensive pasta list, then more mains. Everything has been amazing I've had here. The garlic bread was great. Sliced ciabatta smeared in butter and garlic and roasted. We had sandwiches and a pasta since we couldn't decide. The Italian sandwich is simple. Chewy bread, fresh cold cuts, lettuce, tomato, provolone. The provolone is smoky and helps offset the vinegar that's added. Simple perfect. The chicken parm sandwich is a monster. Chicken cutlets fried and topped with mozzarella and marina. This thing is a meal for 2! The baked ziti is amazing also. Red sauce al dente noodle and melted mozz. What is there to not love! Don't sleep on the desserts either. Coffee forward tiramisu, creamy cannolis, and the rainbow cookies....my personal favorite. I felt like one do the Sopranos here. Can't be beat.

Yelp
The food is always amazing. ALWAYS. This mom and pop is better than any Italian restaurant on the strip.

Laureen T.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Pasta was prepared perfectly. Presentation was neat. Service was very good. We had a big group and they were right there when we needed anything. It's a store/restaurant combo so there are products that can be purchased. Will definitely return on our next trip from Hawaii. Thank you!

Yelp
I love the Roma Deli for authentic Italian food. The servers are great, everyone is friendly. It feels like a quaint little piece of Italy while you are there. The food and wine are amazing! The eggplant parm and chicken Alfredo are the best!

Yelp
I never been to Roma Deli II and Wine Shop. I have Ohana we like go check out different restaurants whenever our schedules line up. It spot they already been couple times. So I was excited they said go here even though they been but not me. Plus we share the same love for good food and places off the strip more local spots. I like really not only have amazing dinner but get all ingredients make one there or stop by whenever need be. The wine selection nice not huge but cool, deli section size does have nice diversity, and dry goods pasta and more. The brands sell legit not generic Italy products. Inside love the vibe. Family run style more so consider all food family style share. Really if order one dish that make then enough food. The plates are big and not affairs load it up. Thankfully four of us so I got to try few things off the menu my first visit. We ordered Calamari, Spaghetti Bolognese add meatballs, Greek Salad, Gnocchi Al Fungi, and chicken dish forgot the name. They were all amazing. Calamari crispy golden brown, nice thick cut rings, and perfect. Bolognese was hearty add meatballs delicious. It same for all the food. Everything has amazing flavor, depth, fresh, hearty, and legit Italian dishes. It reasonable price. Service five stars. The minute sat down she was attentive, all smiles, made great recommendations, and friendly.

Yelp
Love the place got some pancetta and some homemade ravioli, which were delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Nice deli/restaurant with desserts and wine for sale as well. Limited parking in their private lot. Once inside it smells like you are in someone's home kitchen. Tried the lemon butter salmon with a side of broccoli. It was good. Great gloves and even the broccoli was well seasoned. Tried the cannoli for dessert and my goodness. It was my first time and I loved it. Don't know if I'll try one anywhere else as the expectation has been set. Service was amazing. They must be known for their sandwiches as well as a lot of customers were ordering sandwiches.

Yelp
The food was bomb , we had gotten spaghetti carbonara, lasagna , and fettuccine ragú , i highly recommend to cone here . They also had fast and good service , and the environment is filled with wholesome energy.

Yelp
Been coming for years and food is always good. The portions are way too big though and the prices could be more reasonable if they just gave regular size portions. You will definitely be taking food!
google avatar

Richard L.

Yelp
The food here is always delicious and very authentic. The service is always phenomenal as well. I love the comfortable atmosphere and decor as well. It's a great place to have a quality Italian meal. It can get really busy around dinner time, but it's worth the wait

Mike H.

Yelp
Second visit here. Got the same Italian sandwich, the Sicilian but this time asked for chopped giardenera on it and it added just the right amount of spice and crunch. I will unfortunately (for my caloric intake) be back many times. Great Italian deli, with great desserts too.

James M.

Yelp
Went all the way across town to try this spot and it still says they're open till 9, but when I came they said the kitchen was already closed at 8pm.

Yelp
Located on Sahara before Durango on the north side, this spot is a nice size and has ample seating inside and out for good-sized parties! There is a full-service deli inside as well, so you can get goodies to-go after your meal (but that line was a little long, so plan accordingly!) We were seated right away for lunch on the really busy Friday afternoon of the holiday weekend, which was very nice. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The menu isn't too overwhelming. Typical Italian/deli food. We opted for the 1/2 Caesar salad and chicken parm sandwich. It was way too much food for us and they do have complimentary bread for the table, also very generous portions. Their soda is served from bottles, not a fountain, which wasn't on the menu, but ok. Overall it was a nice meal, but very pricy. Much higher than most deli lunches of comparable fare. We'd try again, tho, and split the gnocchi!

Anastasia J.

Yelp
My family and I went to Roma Deli on Sahara for Mothers Day and ordered the margarita pizza. To my surprise I was chewing on a sharp, thick piece of plastic that was baked in the cheese. When we called the manager over she insisted that it was plastic and acted as if it was harmless. Additionally, we asked for this pizza to be taken off the bill and the manager responded with "yes, you don't need to tell me" and walked away. The service was also extremely slow. Unfortunately we will never be going back here and I advise others to be careful when eating there, specially with a nonchalant manager on staff.
google avatar

Dennis S.

Yelp
Let me start by saying. The service here is top of the line. This place is clean. The bathroom's are clean. The sausage and peppers were great. Nick did a great job. This is the rose I left on the table.
google avatar

Maya P.

Yelp
Customer service and the food is always the best at this restaurant. Lots of authentic items on the menu. The staff is super friendly and some of the best customer service. This is a deli where you can purchase items to go as well as dining in with a beautiful wine menu
google avatar

Gary P.

Yelp
Food is plentiful and delicious. I have never had a bad meal here. Suggest to share dishes family style. Bread is fresh crusty & warm.
google avatar

Loren A.

Yelp
Did a phone food order pick up. 2 pastas Dessert Soup and sandwich was $130 which includes 7$ card fee Food was great but the lady who took my order and gave me the food was pretty rude. Not sure if I would order again to be honest over priced
google avatar

Susan B.

Yelp
I've been going there for years and the prices just keep hitting new levels. They now charge a sharing charge as well and they also charge you a fee if you use a credit card. The food is good. Some of the prices are absurd like veal Parmesan $37. What a joke. I don't really feel it's worth it anymore so I'm gonna stop going after like 10 years.
google avatar

Joe F.

Yelp
What a cute little old-school Italian deli. I love the nostalgia I felt the minute I walked in. We did come in for dinner, but it's impossible to leave without buying anything from the deli. We had the calamari, spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce and a spicy shrimp linguine and a chicken parm sandwich. All were super tasty, but the house bread absolutely was where this place shines. It's some of the best bread in town hands-down! The service was OK, we never got any refills but our glasses of water and bottle of Coke lasted almost the entire meal. I did make purchases of olive oil and my favorite cherry pepper relish that I like to put on hoagies, so I was extremely excited to find those options. We will give this place a try again!!!

Mel S.

Yelp
I'm disappointed that I have to write my opinion below. I wish this establishment was delivering quality food prepared properly without attempted deception. Roma Deli was excellent prior to Covid. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. New owner? New chef? Either way, it's no good! Maybe Roma Deli will survive and thrive. After all, some people order fast food pizza and think that's good Italian food. Some don't have a clue about what's good. Many restaurants cater to those who don't know better. Roma Deli .....Lasagna C- at best. Just not done correctly in any way. Chicken Parmigiana D Poor quality chicken hidden with poorly seasoned sauce and cheese. The chef might think that he/she can disguise poor quality, poorly prepared ingredients and hide this under the sauce. It doesn't work! Same is true for Veal Parmigiana! You can't fool those that know better. I lived in Italy for several years and know what these American versions of these dishes should be. An Italian restaurant should offer great meatballs. The only thing Roma Deli's meatballs have in common with a meatball is the round shape! They deserve an F- for this abomination. So, so bad it went into the trash! Maybe two meatballs for $12 was not a high enough price to charge to make it properly. It seemed like there was no meat in the meatball! Just horrible flavor, texture, taste....you name it it all leads to horrible! So, so sorry that this place failed in the food in every way. The food is why we once frequented this establishment monthly. I do hope they can turn it around. You can't fool the diners more than once. Unless things drastically improve, I'm done.

Paula S.

Yelp
Being Italian, I love this place the food is outstanding the wait staff the ladies behind the counter outstanding
google avatar

Yelp
The service was great and food matched. I ordered the Mushroom Sausage Risotto. My husband had the Chicken Parm. He thought his was excellent and my Risotto was super creamy.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic lunch or dinner spot. Even if you just want to stop at the deli for a sandwich or some cookies! Very friendly and efficient. I try to stop here whenever I am on this side of town. The cookies are amazing, the Italian sandwich is fabulous, the caprese salad was wonderful, and the chicken parm sandwich is tasty, but I had to use a fork to eat it! It was too big and just messy enough to not be able to pick up and eat.
google avatar

Faye I.

Yelp
Cute Italian restaurant / deli! Not to be confused with Roma Deli on Spring Mountain. This place has more options on the menu by far than the other location. I've had fettucinne alfredo, Linguine and clams, pasta in garlic and oil, orange roughy, and the antipasto salad. Everything I've had here has been fantastic! All served in large portions, so most items are shareable between two people.

Brian V.

Yelp
The Sicilian Sandwich is absolutely delicious!!! You can tell everything is fresh!!! Fantastic service!! And very relaxing Deli Ambiance!! Highly Recommended!!
google avatar

Jazmine V.

Yelp
Pasta is a chefs kiss. You can tell it's all made so well and fresh . Service is always great too . Whenever we want pasta we go here only because nothing else beats it . Portions are pretty big so it's worth the money. Also have the best cannolis I've ever tried in my life . So definitely get one after dinner.
google avatar

Donnamarie S.

Yelp
I've been craving these cookies for so long. Got a dozen and they're stale. The cherry in the middle was hard as rock
google avatar

Vickie B.

Yelp
Huge Portions! Wonderful Servers!! Tasty Sandwiches!! Great time for our 1st time here!!
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
Cramped and feels like your old Italian grandma's restaurant. Solid traditional Italian food. Nothing crazy fancy but everything is good and made from scratch. Portions are huge. Prices are reasonable.i wish they ask if you want a bottle of pelligrino when you order club soda. They do charge extra for credit card payments.
google avatar

T D.

Yelp
Amazing! Food is super authentic. Had the Italian sandwich and cafe! Customer service was good.
google avatar

Samantha R.

Yelp
Our sandwiches were delicious and HUGE. Each half was the size of a whole sandwich and we could have easily ordered just one. The inside is quaint and cozy. Staff was friendly and service was prompt! I just wish the bread was a little softer on my sandwich. It's a big chunk of bread and a little on the hard and chewy side to break it down . But I would absolutely eat there again.
google avatar

Theresa B.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Being the fact that I am originally from New York the capital of Italian food I crave and adore fresh homemade pasta and sauce and OMG I found it here. The waiter and waitress know what to recommend according to your individual taste. All done in a New York deli style restaurant. It feels just like home. Try this place. I had lasagna, hubby has spaghetti and meatballs, one son has cheese ravioli and sausage, while another one of the boys had fettuccine noodles with sausage and cheese. Yes they will customize if you ask them. chchocolate cake, rum cake, creme puff, cheesecake, and cappicappuccinos all amazing.

Jim

Yelp
If you grew up in an Italian American family or lived in NY, Chicago etc. you probably have a specific taste profile you hunt for in Italian food. Unfortunately you most likely have been disappointed time and time again trying new places. That will not be the case when you dine at Roma Deli II and wine shop. From their house Chianti to amazing garlic bread, meatballs, beef ravioli, penne bolognese chicken Marsala etc......you will be reminded of what those dishes are supposed to taste like. Food that evokes memories of those meals you grew up eating and sharing with family and friends. Our server was Nick and he was friendly and attentive and offered great recommendations. Their kitchen staff have the recipes and skills to serve up top notch dishes in a small and quaint trattoria style venue. Their deli is small but super convenient for take home deli meats, cheese pastries and pantry goods. Thank you Roma II for not cutting corners and doing it right. 5 stars

Yelp
Their actual hours of operation do not reflect what is advertised on their web site. I have attempted to patronize this business twice during said advertised hours and both times I've been turned away.

Yelp
our favorite restaurant...awesome service and food is delicious. Recently we went with several friends nd Roma deli didn't miss a beat.

Yelp
it is small, but mighty. Food is outstanding, and the staff is attentive. Consistently a great dining experience.

Yelp
Shoutout to Roma Deli. Been wanting to come to this place since I had their sandwiches about a year ago. This review is about a month behind but better late than never! Me, my girlfriend and my friend showed up at around 4:30 pm on a Tuesday. Only one or two other parties were seated in the dining room so we sat in a table by the window. The ambiance is cool it was a good mix between New York Italian deli and upscale Italian restaurant. They sell meats and cheeses in the front and behind that is the kitchen where they prepare the food. We went to town and got to ordering as everyone was pretty hungry. We started with Cokes and waters (love Coke products) and we were started off with complimentary bread and butter . Had some olive oil and vinegar on the side as well. As for apps we got tomato caprese and calamari. Both were really good with quality ingredients. The tomatoes and mozzarella tasted fresh and the calamari seemed to be of a higher quality compared to other restaurants. For entrees, me and my girlfriend ordered the chicken Parmesan dinner and the Penne vodka with Grilled chicken added. They were bomb. I think the Chicken Parmesan was definitely the better or the two but both were really good and I think portion size, quality and taste in general come together for a solid dinner choice. Dessert was the Neopolitan ice cream and I thought it was pretty decent but want to try their Tiramisu next time. Our service throughout the evening was pretty great but the dining room started to fill up and I could tell it gets crazy once the dinner rush hits so the back server really held everything together as far as taking dishes or refilling beverages. Bravo to them. All in all 4/5 is pretty accurate for my rating. I think their sandwiches are on another level but the dinner food was good and I will definitely be going back to try more choices. Everything was hot, higher quality, and with flavor. My girlfriend thought it was pretty middle of the road but she has also been to Italy

Yelp
I ordered food for the first time from this restaurant on Door Dash. Instead of receiving the dinner I ordered, a sandwich was delivered. What's worse, I paid $28.99 for this SANDWICH! Yikes. So disappointed!! Yes, I contacted Doir Dash and received a partial refund, but the sandwich isn't anything special. Not much seasoning on it and a lot of bread. Needless to say, I won't be ordering food from this restaurant again. How did they get it so wrong? Not a good first impression.

Yelp
If you're looking for an authentic Italian sandwich then look no further! This is one of my to spots for a quick bite or even to grab supplies to cook up at home. There entire menu is a must try and they really do have one of the best chicken-Parms in the city! They have a deli and also a bakery with tons of old school treats. Plenty of friendly staff to help walk you through the deli or menu options. Inside you will fine a nicely decorated decor that will remind you of a restaurant right in Rome! Don't sleep on the rainbow cookies, personally those are my Favorite!

Linda M.

Yelp
I ordered from their catering menu for a my daughter's bridal shower. The food was hot and delicious. I ordered the 1/2 trays and they were so full. Definitely enough food for 15 people. They delivered the food to my house, which made it convenient. Thank you!
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
This is the place to go if you want a real sandwich. For sure these other places don't really give you anything good and if you're generic, you should just go to Subway. However, this is the place to be it has an extensive menu. They have other items on the list, including pastas, and you can get to go items as well. I know they also do catering. This is the place to get the Italian sandwich. Don't waste your time with other places

Yelp
We love Roma Deli and are considered regulars there but, today, I must say, I am disappointed in them. I ordered food for us to pick up at 5:00 pm. Simple food, nothing complicated. My daughter got there 15 minutes ahead of time. There was such a line ! She waited almost an hour for our food and when she got home, they had given her the wrong order! The staff was not prepared somehow for this he crowd that ate there and for all the take out orders they got. I sure hope they get their act in order. This never should have happened.
