Google
adorable shop with an adorable shop lady selling delicious vegan goods!!! this place was a lifesaver twice on our trip being open as early as they are we needed breakfast before horseback riding as well as before our early am outbound flight. coffee is good with several non dairy milk options, the top two shelves of donuts are vegan and every one we tried was unreal, we also got two cheese bacon bagels and they did not disappoint + all of it is super affordable unlike so many vegan places that charge absurd amounts for good food.

adrienne ingram

Google
What a gem this place is! We got the vegan ham and cheese bagel and a variety of the vegan donuts and cinnamon rolls. Everything is phenomenal! The entire top two rows of pastries are vegan and the lady was nice and super helpful. We will definitely be back to try everything.

Google
Navy was a sweetheart! She was kind and helpful. 🫶It's been years since Ive visited Ronald's Donuts. She let me know all the vegan drinks, and breakfast sandwiches. It was difficult driving with the box of goodies in my car, so I helped myself to a Bearclaw.. It was fluffy and the apples and cinnamon was delightful. In addition, I found out I can freeze them for up to three months. 🥰🤩

Google
Ronald’s Donuts is an absolute must for any vegan with a sweet tooth! I’ve tried nearly every single vegan donut they offer, and honestly—they’re all 10/10. The glazed, long john, and old fashioned donuts are standouts, but it’s so good I can never pick just one favorite… so I don’t—I share them all! Every time I’m in Vegas, I make it a priority to stop by and grab at least a dozen. Soft, perfectly sweet, and totally plant-based—it’s hard to believe these are vegan! If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go.

Kim Smith

Google
Regular donut shop offering AMPLE vegan options, staff always knows which rows are vegan. They also tend to have pre made vegan breakfast sandwiches they can warm up and sometimes ice cream too!

Michael Uzmann

Google
Serving Las Vegas since 1973, Henry and Janie Kang regularly on-site since taking over more than thirty years ago, Ronald’s Donuts is something of a Las Vegas icon thanks to both its longevity and early adoption of Vegan practices in line with the Buddhist ownership. A small shop that has grown its offerings amidst growing competition, Bagels, Ice Cream and Boba now all part of the line-up, little has changed in Ronald’s décor over the past twenty years aside from a willingness to accept credit cards and a few Maneki-neko that were not present before. Similar to many So.Cal. Donut shops, right down to pink boxes and Formica tables, Vegan options occupy the top two shelves and are assuredly free of Milk, Butter or Eggs while those beneath are made more traditionally. Heavier than Friendly or PinkBox, at least as relates to Yeasted Rings with commercial Glazes, Cake Donuts are small with a dry Crumb that isn’t particularly enjoyable aside from the cogwheel Old Fashion that is better than most.

Google
I’ve been coming to Ronald’s for over 15 years and not once have I had a bad experience or a bad donut! A family owned and ran business so they always take care of you. They offer that classic donut shop feeling, but also VEGAN donuts!

Jamie Dalman

Google
Great selection of vegan donuts! The top two shelves were all vegan. They are very helpful with questions and I was able to enjoy a traditional donut for the first time in a long time with a dairy allergy.

Yelp
Las Vegas is a town with a lot of donut shops. And when I ask my co-workers for their favorite one, they each give me a different answer! After sampling the goods that are brought into work occasionally as well as trying many of the shops on my own, I've decided that Ronald's is my favorite. While they are "old school" and don't have all the fancy varieties many of the newer donut places offer, my favorite at Ronald's is their apple burrito. I haven't seen anything similar at another donut place, but I love it and get at least one every time. I'm also partial to their fruit turnovers as well as their bear claws and chocolate old-fashions. I also like the fact that Ronald's offers many vegan options. While I am not vegan, it's nice to know a place I can refer to friends who are.

Yelp
We stopped by Ronald's for a quick fix while passing through the area, craving some vegan donuts. A quick Yelp search suggested it was the best option nearby. Located in a strip mall in Koreatown, the shop has the vibe of a classic mom-and-pop donut spot. I tried a few basics: plain old-fashioned, maple old-fashioned, vanilla sprinkle, and an apple fritter. All the donuts were vegan and pretty decent but nothing great! I wish I had asked whether the maple bars were vegan--they were, as I found out later. One downside was that while the donuts seemed to be fresh, the dry desert air made them dry out, so I'd recommend going as early as possible. Service was rude, but honestly, I was there for the donuts!

Yelp
I've been to Ronald's once before but this is my first review. My first time going I wasn't sure what was vegan or not because they weren't all labeled, only a small section. This time I decided to ask what all was vegan and found the first two top rows all the way across are vegan. My eyes lit up. I ended up getting 6 donuts and was given two free donuts!! Love free things. The young man working was so nice and answered all the questions I had. The donuts themselves were delicious and sweet! I ordered 2 glazed, a white sprinkle, a bear claw, cinnamon twist, and chocolate filled. The glazed were pretty good, a typical glazed donut in my opinion. The white sprinkle was amazing! I enjoyed how it had more of a cake texture versus the airy donut texture. The chocolate filled was really good, the custard was nice and sweet. The cinnamon twist reminded me do the sugar donuts from the fair and I enjoyed that! The bear claw had to be my favorite aside from the apple bits in the center. I don't really like fruit in food lol. But I really enjoyed the rest of the bear claw, the taste was soo delicious and you can taste all the spices. Perfect place to go for a sweet tooth and extremely affordable as well!

Yelp
Delicious (mostly vegan) donuts! I had the vegan old fashioned donut, which was absolutely perfect. They also have a few hot food items, like bagel and croissant sandwiches. They also do coffee and tea but nothing fancy- tea is just a tea bag in hot water and coffee comes from one of those machines where you press a button to dispense. I love that most of their donuts are vegan, my only complaint would be that not all the donuts are not labelled as vegan/non-vegan so it is kind of confusing. My little sister got a bag of donut holes but they were not labelled vegan, so I didn't realize I could have them until after they were all gone when I overheard someone asking. My non-vegan parents and siblings thought their donuts were delicious, nobody noticed that they were vegan.

Yelp
Early in the morning, donuts hit the spot! This gem is no exception. Slightly out of the way but well worth it!
google avatar

Jonique B.

Yelp
placing this vegas gem at a 1 star. NOT for the Vegan options nor selection. BUT ONLY for the service. Guy behind the counter had no customer skills. Store was not busy. We was the only one in line. didn't greet us at all. another guy walks in and he proceeded to take care of him. He was not friendly to begin with l. he had an attitude when we asked which trays were vegan friendly. he outwardly showed irratation so the a loud sigh , fixed his Glasses and in a rude way showed and spoke to us in a condescending way. Service like this is unacceptable and will make us rethink ever coming back when he is behind the counter. either work at nights or work with better attitude

Keith K.

Yelp
The donuts are not fresh and you can see, smell and taste that they cook them in OLD / dirty oil. You need to change the oil every other day if not every day. Very stale tasting and rancid. Icing and glaze was dried out too. See photo. I would not recommend this place. $8.25 for three stale and old donuts. Disgusting.

Yelp
Ok so the donuts here are bomb! I haven't had a good donut in vegas yet so this place really satisfied my craving. I ordered through post mates so I'm not too sure about the service or ambiance... just came here to tell you about the donuts. We got a dozen... glaze, twist, chocolate, maple and more they were all delicious, fresh, and fluffy also the box/packaging was cute. I will be ordering from here again... possibly when there are more people with me to enjoy
google avatar

Yelp
$2ish Donuts. Soooo many vegan donuts!! O my lordie lord!! No wonder this place is so popular!! It's like a Donut Friend but with no fuss, and way more affordable!! Love how fluffy soft the breading is!! They have more than the usual classic options. $5 minimum purchase to buy with credit card. Top 2 rows on both sides of the display are ALL VEGAN!! Yes, the chocolate creme, yes the jellies, turnovers and more are all vegan!! Their apple burritos are definitely interesting, and my 1st. Yum! Mom and pop shop. I finally finally got to try this place out. They close early...well earlier than my 8pm dessert cravings. Wish they stay open later than 4pm.
google avatar

Yelp
The hubby and I stopped in here for a donut and a cup of coffee and we got exactly what we wanted. This place is simple and delivers on the basics.

Yelp
I think this is one of the few places with real fresh donuts in town. These donuts are worth eating as they aren't as sweet or oily as others may be. The staff is friendly and quick to get your order together especially if it's to go. The lady at the register was super sweet. This is my fav donut shop at least until I can discover the next best dip its shop in the central town of the greatest city of Las Vegas!

Bernard S.

Yelp
Terrible service, This was our third time at the Ronald's donuts located off of spring mountain. Every time we go to buy a dozen of donuts, the same lady rushes from the back of the shop, quickly packs up random donuts , and send us on our way. She never gives us an opportunity to choose our donuts and when I brought this to her attention she stated that customers don't like to choose their own donuts... She even brought up cost issues...as if customers are not willing to pay for choosing their own donuts... Terrible experience, probably will never go here again. If you go there please let them know what you want beforehand, and don't just take the donuts they attempt to hand out to you. (I've never experienced this type of terrible service from a donut shop.... We experienced great service from Mom and pops stores to chain stores...)
google avatar

Sam B.

Yelp
This donut shop is the best in the valley. Donuts are very good. It's still good after 3 days. The donuts offered other places start to go bad after a day and a half.
google avatar

Magda G.

Yelp
Still yummy and very affordable vegan donuts. They hav3 nonvegan donuts as well but mostly vegan donuts and ice-cream. I bought one glazed , one old fashioned & dozen donut holes for $6. They never seem to be taken busy. My must stop when in Vegas.
google avatar

Samantha W.

Yelp
We were told all their donuts are vegan except the cake donuts. I think it would be good to have vegan on all the labels except the certain non-vegan cake donuts just to be clear. To make the donuts vegan they use soy shortening as well as soy oil to fry in. While the raised donuts are beautifully risen and have pretty nice flavor and airiness. They weren't as moist as I'd like on the inside. The donuts are pretty good. Not the best I've had. But really great for vegan options.
google avatar

Ania K.

Yelp
Best donuts in Vegas! Size doesn't mean everything when it comes to donuts but the yeast donuts here, even the monster ones just melt in your mouth. It's like enjoying sweet air. Fresh, fluffy, and fantastic. This little shop has been around for many years and it's nice to see them still here. If you'd like fresh donuts try to remember that most bakers starts in the middle of the night so donuts are best as early in the morning as possible. I typically come here around 6am. Please also don't complain that there's not enough variety left in the afternoons. No shit people, these bakers aren't pushing donuts out 24/7. So come early and see why this donut place has been around forever.
google avatar

Yelp
OMG!!!! The donuts were amazing! The people were amazing!!! Bought 2 dozen forva workshop and everyone LOVED them!!!! New customers coming soon!!!!
google avatar

Margret C.

Yelp
There were some seats inside. Just a few tables. Looks like most people take it to-go. This is one of the top rated donut places, close to Chinatown, on Spring Mountain. Parking's tight. Been wanting to try it, good reviews. Open on sundays, closes at 2pm. Met up with some out of state friends who were visiting. They had donut holes and the apple stuffed one (she said it was bomb). I didn't get a good look at the selections. I do know that some sell out early. I am not big on donuts but I do love a good bear claw from time to time. I only had a small piece. (I brought it home. I warmed it up in the oven and it was yummy. Hubby said he should've gotten this one instead. The stringbean liked it too. It's a pretty good size.) Our son loves the chain Pinkbox donuts but that's more of a special event kind of place. Our son is 4th generation chocolholic so he got a chocolate one. Hubby got a chocolate one. Said it wasn't anything special. Clean place. Best of Las Vegas RJ winner. We saw two clerks. In the last few minutes one of them was cleaning.

Yelp
The food is beyond delightful- vegan never tasted so sweet, we lived closer to Ronald's Donuts years back- now that we reside 20min further , we still make our way over here! It's a lot lighter of a donut than most.
google avatar

Yelp
I stopped by Ronald's this morning and purchased a 1/2 dozen. Mixed batch that included an Apple Fritter recommended by the lady behind the counter. Bill was $15. This included a tip. I've had Ronald's before and they were quite good. This time was a complete miss. The traditional doughnuts were just so so. The Apple Fritter was absolutely inedible. I was really looking fwd to it and when I took it out of the box I knew I was in trouble. Heavy and Hard are the first impressions. Almost broke a tooth on the first bite. And zero taste unless you like slightly burnt. Wow, just bad. I had to throw it away after 2 bites. And zero apple flavor. Should be ashamed to sell something like this. I used to recommend this place to friends and visitors from out of town. Not sure if I can do that anymore. It was really bad.
google avatar

J. H.

Yelp
Go support this shop!! They are good, hard working people who are dedicated to their shop, their craft, & their customers. They have lots of classic donuts and probably 2/3 of the products are vegan friendly. And the naysayer would never guess they were vegan. So if you want full flavor sweet treats that are vegan friendly - go check out Ronald's. My absolutely favorite is their Boston cream donuts. Seriously mouth watering.
google avatar

Lia B.

Yelp
Finally got to try this vegan friendly donut shop. I've been meaning to stop by for years and finally made it! So happy I did as the donuts are delicious and reasonably priced. The dude at the counter was friendly and personable. Will be stopping by before heading home.
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
It's the most delicious donuts I have ever had in a long time!. The place is quiet and clean!. The lady server/cashier is friendly! I will come back for more! 05.09.24. 0915 hours Emma
google avatar

Pete S.

Yelp
3 stars for the donuts, 4 stars for being a small time mom and pop shop. They do take credit cards here, with a minimum purchase. Tried the: Apple fritter-too oily and heavy Bear Claw-thought it was just okay Old fashioned sprinkles-Good Chocolate cream filled-Cream tasted a little broken. Hopefully Ronald's brother Randy won't be taking too much out of the brotherhood here. I came off of Myrtle. You can probably just park there. Trying to take a left and an immediate left it probably a death wish.

Yelp
Delicious wonderful donuts and vegan!!! Enjoyed the people, the location, and especially the donuts!!!!!
google avatar

Solina C.

Yelp
We love the donuts here! The owner is so sweet and has such a big humor! Their apple wrapped fried in some sort of tortilla like is freaking bomb! Must try!

Barry P.

Yelp
I started going to Ronalds in the late 80's and aways found them to have the best donots in Las Vegas. The original owners sold a few years ago. The quality of the donuts was not as good as the donots tasted as though they were cooked in old oil. I haven't been back for a couple of years, purhcased a dozen donots and when I got home found them to be hard which means they are several days old. Apparently they are not as popular as they use to be and the reasons are very obvious. Sad, because this place had a great reputation and a great product.

Sherri W.

Yelp
Best Donuts in Vegas HANDS DOWN! Everything is made fresh every morning. The apple fritters are amazing and you absolutely have to try the apple burritos. They're ridiculous. In reality, you won't go wrong no matter what you choose.
google avatar

Randy W.

Yelp
It's fine. Here's what I had: glazed, donut holes, Maple, covered, old-fashioned, apple fritter. The reviews on this shop create high expectations. I tend to find that many people love to follow and I suspect some of these reviews were based off of expectations interpreting reality. Here's my thoughts: Pros: the donut holes and the maple covered old-fashioned had a good dough taste, Cons: 1) the apple fritter tasted burnt and was essentially fried at least 2/3 of the way through leaving very little dough. 2) there was a line at this place, but not because people couldn't wait to get there. There was only one person working and she had to fill the donut orders as well as manage the cashier duties. 3) it is small and dirty. The glass on the outside of the store was all smudged up and dirty. The ceiling tiles inside were stained. The tables floors and glass looks like it has been a while since it was cleaned well.
google avatar

Frank A.

Yelp
Been going to Ronald's Donuts for 15 Years. Their Donuts are delicious. They even offer vegan options. The lady in back is a bit pushy always trying to get you to purchase the fancy donuts. I usually get classic. I definitely recommend this place.
google avatar

Jazz S.

Yelp
We didn't know this place was mostly famous for Vegan donuts when we chose it - we just wanted so some mom and pop donuts that weren't overpriced! Ronald's is an unassuming donut shop in a Chinatown strip mall area and definitely gave us happy vibes. The donuts were all delicious and I was impressed that they had so many interesting other options like Thai ice teas, ice cream, Sandwiches, all of which could be made vegan! There is a good amount of parking and a couple small tables to eat at.
google avatar

Nereida R.

Yelp
Delicious donuts and friendly customer service. The glazed donuts were excellent! Fair prices.
google avatar

Molly E.

Yelp
I had only had one old-fashioned glaze donut since being vegan so I can't even tell you my level of excitement when I looked up ronalds and saw that they not only offered a wide variety of vegan donuts, pastries, ice cream, bagel sandwiches, etc., but they also had my favorite kind of donut! It was sooo freaking good-- everything I dreamed of and more My only critique is the employee was pretty rude :/

Lisa J.

Yelp
I will start by saying they used to be the best dontuts that was when they made them fresh every morning you could go and get the freshest donut ever NOW them make the in the evening so when they open in the morning the donuts are not fresh they taste like day old donuts service is ok not the best store could use freshing up I always went out of my way to get the apple fritter the last 2 times the donuts were NOT good and I did give them another chance after my first bad experience (I have been going there since 2012-2013) but now I go elswhere PS Ronalds if you see this post you NEED to make your donuts in the morning just before you open there is nothing like a nice fresh warm apple fritter!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Ronald's Donuts has been a Chinatown staple for about 30 years. For the longest time they have been cash only until recently. They open super early (around 4am) and close around 2pm. They have your old school doughnuts and vegan doughnuts. They are fresh and are meant to be eaten the same day. My favorites are cinnamon twist, apple fritter, raspberry-filled, chocolate glazed, and cake. They're huge doughnuts. I bring them home and make dipping chocolate to dip the cinnamon twist doughnuts in. They're soft and fluffy, and not greasy. The times I've been here, they give me free doughnuts for getting a dozen or more. They have drinks, doughnut holes, and a few "fancy" doughnuts. But I always stick with the classics. I'm hoping they would have Tiger Tails. Whether you're grabbing doughnuts for yourself, family/ friends or to share with people at work, you can't go wrong with Ronald's. I prefer mom & pop doughnut shops than the commercialized chain spots. Parking is easy especially for Chinatown. Neighboring businesses are either non-existent or have different hours so you can easily find parking.

Yelp
Stopped in at this place while driving around visiting the area from California. I am a donut connoisseur and can't pass up trying a new place. I am a big fan of old fashioned/cake donuts and would say this is not their specialty. Little too crisp and dry on the edges for me and not rich flavor. Their raised donuts are pretty good, although majority of them are vegan. Which is probably good for those looking for vegan donuts, but for me I didn't prefer the aftertaste I got compared to standard ones. The huge cinnamon twist was good though. My wife and I visited a few other donut places in the area, one of which I liked a lot more despite it having much less reviews. So don't think I'll be back here unfortunately. Service and ambiance were great though!
google avatar

Jodie O.

Yelp
Idk how people are saying these donuts are mediocre!! Ronald's donuts vegan donuts literally ties as my number 1 favorite vegan donuts. I've had donuts from many states and a few countries!! The quality and the value is unbeatable. They even make huge cake size donuts for custom orders! Perfect for birthdays or something fun to bring to potlucks. The texture of the doughnut is perfect. Yeasty NOT chewy like how a lot of vegan donuts can be like. Fluffy slightly airy. So good!! The only down side is they never have a vegan strawberry frosted or blueberry cake. But they do have old fashioned which a lot of places don't have and it's one of my favorite! Their Boston creme is amazing too the creme inside is so creamy and delicious. Highly recommend trying Ronald's donuts if you're ever in Vegas!
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
I picked up a dozen glazed donuts (these are vegan/majority of the donuts are) and they are soooo good!! Whole Foods used to carry plain vegan donuts but stopped and I'm sure happy I found this place as my new go-to!! Amazing!!
google avatar

Jasmere S.

Yelp
This place is located off Spring Mountain in Chinatown When I heard they had vegan donuts I wanted to try it out And u have to go early because they sell out quick The donuts are good you can't even tell the difference
google avatar

Tanya M.

Yelp
We came in around 11 AM. It was quickly in and out and not much selection. We very happy with what we got: Apple burrito, apple fritter old fashioned and vegan powdered jelly donut. We both really liked the apple burrito, apple fritter and old fashioned the best. We did not care for the vegan powdered donut and it was cool that had a ton of vegan options if that's what you are into. Looks like this place is pretty popular so get in early for the best selection.

Yelp
After being told for years how good and big their Apple Fritters are , I finally went a couple weeks ago . My son loves Apple Fritters , so I got him one and I one and his wife a cinnamon roll . They were large , but the Apple Fritters looked a little overcooked . I wasn't really impressed by the taste and I have had much better . My son felt the same and his wife didn't think any of them were good and she is a baker . The place is in an older building in a shopping plaza with a decent sized parking lot . The inside is not well decorated , more for take out and they had a couple tables , but looked like they moved them during covid . You have to pay cash unless you want to pay a surcharge for using a credit card . I always carry cash , so it wasn't a problem . I see a lot of people like this place , but I probably won't come back .

Jack

Yelp
These are the best donuts in Vegas. A dozen mixed for our office with a breakfast croissant for me. That's a good way to start my day.

Yelp
Love this place every donut is top tier love the place and ambiance!! The service is always great
google avatar

Yelp
Service was super quick even at 10am and the place is super clean. $5 minimum charge to use your card, however. The donuts are divine, just soft and fresh and flavorful and delicious. I had them on my cheat day and they were well worth that calories haha.
google avatar

Kerry W.

Yelp
My husband and I always stop here when we are in town and take a bunch over to my mothers senior living home for everyone. Great doughnuts and wonderful service! Thank you!
google avatar

Yelp
Better donuts. If egg and milk free donuts are something you're looking for then come here. Ronald's Donuts is a longtime favorite for breakfast in Chinatown and has so much variety. Gets busy. To get the most selection come early. It has a lot of the vegan donuts. Maybe the best place around here for breakfast with all of the healthier options. These donuts aren't made with eggs or milk, but they taste like it though. Many varieties including bear claw, cake, eclair, fritter, and glazed. The donuts are fairly cheap for the quality. It's about $12 for a dozen. The best one is the vegan Maple Bacon Bar, with the maple frosting, and a piece of fake bacon lies across it. Good all around. If you're looking for vegan breakfast or sweets then come here. They're not only good but also healthier because there's no animal fats at all in these.
google avatar

Yelp
Times have changed and so has Ronald's. They accept cards now and updated some menus and other misc stuff. The doughnuts and regular coffee still the same old deliciousness.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the old fashioned glazed donut. My sister got the apple fritter and it was huge. Good prices, fresh donuts.

Yelp
**3.5 Stars** Donut Institution Ronald's Donuts is a no-frills, old-school donut shop beloved by the people of Las Vegas. I've been wanting to try their Apple Fritter for at least a decade Finally made it to the Chinatown location to try an assortment of donut classics for take-out The donuts are very classic (although some are available vegan) so expect super sweet donuts in jumbo sizes. Skip the coffee Apple Fritter / Apple Burrito / Apple Turnover / Old Fashioned / Buttermilk Bar / Bear Claw / Cinammon Twist Ronald's Donuts (Las Vegas, NV) Overall, I was underwhelmed by the donuts at Ronald's. I'm not vegan but see the appeal to those that are, but otherwise the donuts were very similar to the neighborhood donut shops at many locations. While the bear claw and Apple burrito were unique, almost all the donuts were very heavy on sweetness and reflect earlier times when desserts were epic and super sweet. I know people reminisce and are fans of those times, but it's not for me. Ronald's now accepts credit cards after COVID including Amex.
