Rondo

"Rondo with its open kitchen all down one side occupies a fair chunk of ground floor acreage within the Hoxton hotel and offers a fun night out. The chef is an alumnus of St John so expect cooking that is robust and satisfying, although the menu here is a little more international in its influences." - Michelin Inspector

Rondo Review - Capitol Hill - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Rondo, the newest restaurant from the team behind Suika and Tamari Bar, specializes in donburi (rice topped with raw fish), sushi, bento boxes filled with things like pork katsu, and mazemen noodle bowls. We’re fans of the creamy seafood noodle with roe, but were less impressed with ice-cold seared albacore in the donburi as well as their oversized maki that come with huge pieces of fish on top of each sushi roll. If you’re in the mood for noodles, you should come here for lunch." - Aimee Rizzo

Margaux, our waitress was AMAZING! My daughter and I have multiple food allergies and she took great care of us. Food was delicious and delivered promptly and Margaux could not have been nicer! We will definitely be back!

I’ve stayed at The Hoxton Holborn multiple times but this was my first time eating at Rondo. Previously the menu was a little limited for vegans so eating with my son was not really an option. However now the selection was incredible for those with dietary requirements, plenty of options for both me and my son. The dishes were interesting and flavourful, impressing us both. Moreover, our waitress Martina was very attentive, friendly, and seeing her provide excellent service for so many tables was very impressive - you have a star your staff!

Really enjoyed my meal here, went after work mid-week. The atmosphere was great, nice decor and very comfortable. The menu had lots of nice options, I really enjoyed the sole and cabbage, the lamb and pasta looked really good too. Desserts were delicious, and I thought the prices were fairly reasonable for London. Will definitely come back. I think you can come here for coffee or lunch throughout the day and do work in the front area too.

One of my favourite places for breakfast! The setting of the Hoxton is beautiful and cozy, while the food is great and the service is amazing. Don’t go in expecting a huge selection though, the menu is very simple but the quality is 10/10.

Can recommend! Had the lamb rump and baby chicken - yum. Margaux was lovely too, thanks for making our night!

Stunning to see how the space in the Hoxton Holborn has evolved. When I was there they where doing a 6 month take over with Discarded Spirits, who are a Zero Waste spirits company. The cocktails where amazing and all designed around reusing waste! Recommend.

I enjoyed lunch at the Rondo. The restaurant is sectioned off from the main entrance of the Hoxton hotel, and although it doesn't have much privacy from the hotel it does feel quite cosy and warm with all the decor. The food was pretty nice too - on the expensive side though so to be expected. I'd say it's a nice place to catch up with a friend or colleague, maybe even a date. But I wouldn't necessarily go out of may for it

The lamb rump and the brown butter potatoes were divine. I also appreciated the non-alcoholic options on the drinks menu.
