We didn’t get food, but stopped in for a fun wine flight! They have a create your own flight for those of us who can’t choose just one! Cozy place with lots of seating! They have games to play and hangout. We did just take and had fun! They do have a few beers and cider options, if you’re not having wine.

I came in with my partner and being someone who doesn't often drink wine and was unfamiliar with this establishment tried to order a gin and tonic. Our server Micheal was great and helped me select a wine that was fantastic. It was clear he is very knowledgeable about wine and passionate about his craft. The restaurant was super cute to boot and had lots of comfortable seating with relaxing music. Great place to chat with friends, read a book, or work on your laptop while enjoying a glass of wine or beer.

My friends go a lot for Monday karaoke. The staff here is super friendly and know me and most of the people there by name. Much cheaper than most places nearby, but that's not because they're skimping. Great place to be just to read for a while or to make a community!

This place is amazing! The wine was great and the owner is so amazing and attentive. Service is top notch! Snacks and food is kitchy but good. It's clearly a passion project for the owner and my group had the best experience ever. I encourage everyone to support this small business! Thanks for the wonderful hang.

Literally could not sing enough praise about this bar, their staff, and their owners. This is my neighborhood bar and I’m so lucky for that but this bar is worth a drive! When I think of wonderful 10/10 hospitality, Room for Friends is the first place that comes to mind. Amazing wine, cozy atmosphere, wonderful people.

A fun, cozy wine bar on Santa Fe Drive with plenty of seating both inside and out. However, it does fill up quickly on a Saturday evening as the night gets later. We stopped in before a dinner reservation and sat at the bar. One of the owners asked if it was our first time, and we shared that it was indeed our first time. She told us that she liked to describe Room For Friends as not a bar to watch sports, not a bar to go dance, but a bar to go when you are tired and just want to hang out and drink with friends. Loved her humor and her style! I also appreciated it when she pulled out some readers for my friend when he was trying to read the menu with the flashlight on his phone. They have a nice selection of wine to choose from by the glass as well as flights. They also offer snacks and charcuterie, as well as beer, seltzer, and non-alcoholic drinks. I decided to try a 'build your own' flight to see which of their wines I would choose for a full glass. I shared my palate preferences, and all selections were excellent. Prices are reasonable and pours are generous. I also have to give a nod to the artwork on their logo. I am an artistic person myself and appreciate the creativity of the name of the business, the product they sell, and the overall concept being blended into one. Take a closer look at it! Definitely a place I will be revisiting!

This is such a beautiful place. From the outside facade, to the decorations inside, to the warm and welcoming people who work there. We didn't indulge in any food because we arrive to this quaint place after having a filling lunch. However, we were very excited to have some wine. I picked the BBQ wine flight which consists of Pinotage, Malbec/cab Franc, and Tempranillo. The aromas and flavors were fascinating. Our server was kind enough to share some of his chocolate with us (so kind of him) and the wine experience was elevated thanks to him. They have board games, and I think they were getting ready for some live music but we left before time. I had a fabulous time and I would love to visit again.

I discovered this place while walking down Santa Fe Drive near downtown. It looked cozy inside. It had a nice list of sparkling, white, rose and red wines by the glass + small bites. They also do wine flights. The back patio is open to dogs including a Patio Pup Flight of pupperonis, beggin strips and milk bones. Nice comfy chairs and couches plus bar seats. They open at 4pm with Happy Hours weekdays from 5pm-7pm and all day Monday. I met the co-owner Michael. Very friendly. I started with a bubbly peach wine from Oliver Winery in Indiana and a Crudites platter of veggies with a bowl of garlic hummus. Heather, his wife and co-owner said the platters name was Scott (you can see his cucumber eyes and carrot mouth). Very cute. She recommended I eat his eyes first so he doesn't stare at you. Great playful humor. The hummus was excellent. I was still hungry. I got a southern style Pimento cheese sandwich with crispy bacon ($6) and a glass of 2023 rouge Beaujolais. An effervescent wine. They will take reservations. I saw two tables with chairs and couches reserved for 6pm. Nice music was being played, just loud enough to prevent overhearing nearby conversations.

Cute casual wine bar with a great selection of wines and snack pairings (cheez-its go great with wine)! Servers were very attentive and knowledgeable, I got one of their curated wine flights which was a great way to sample a few things! Would definitely return and try more!

Went here on a date, it was awesome. The couches and tables are set up for any occasion and staff was really nice. We got a bottle of wine and the cheez its platter. They give you a TON of cheezits. Very good time and yummy wine.

Yelpers, so sorry for not grabbing pics of this little special gem. Wrapping up dinner in the area and was on the hunt for a wine bar. Enter Room For Friends. What a great find. Very relaxed atmosphere. It's definitely got coffee shop vibes: chill, comfortable, no judgment. It's a place you pull up a seat and a glass (or a flight) and relax. The service is wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and attentive. What more could you ask for? Enjoy folks. Again, this won't disappoint.

The Santa Fe art district is a place I don't get to enough! I've attended a couple of group events at Room For Friends and it's a lovely little spot owned by a wife & husband duo that left their corporate careers to start this little business of love. Inside, the area has an eclectic but comfortable design and a small bar for seating there, too. They also have an outside patio that I'm sure they'll continue to upgrade as they're able. There are some simple snacks on the menu for noshing with your wine. I'm sure they'll kind of figure their menu and system out as they continue to be open, which has only been about a couple of months. Wine flights are available, too, but feel free to ask for tasting sips before choosing as they're ready and willing to provide with a splash! I root so hard for startups like this where people had the courage to forego the negatives of corporate life. And it's a really cute spot on top of it!!

Super cozy vibe! Comfortable seats and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're sitting in your own living room. We came here with a group for happy hour with about 15 women and they were super accommodating. Light snacks, friendly service, and reasonable pricing. Hope to return!

Great service and lots of small snacks and broad wine list and flights. Quiet ambiance downtown with a good outdoor area. Parking was easy to find on the street and the staff knowledgeable.

If you haven't been to Room For Friends for karaoke night, you are seriously missing out. Jamie, the host, is an absolute rockstar -- hilarious, welcoming, and knows how to bring the vibe. The energy is unmatched: think amazing wine, a crowd that's actually into it, and a playlist that swings from classics to guilty pleasures. Whether you're there to belt it out or just sip and vibe, it's the perfect mix of chill and fun. Five stars for the wine, ten stars for Jamie, and all the stars for Monday karaoke. Don't walk... RUN.

Such a great atmosphere, great wine, and great service! I'd never been there before and had a delightful conversation about where to sit with the five other people there when I walked in... the kind of vibe where everyone will poke you a little, but in the spot where they know you're ticklish instead of sore. I've already texted a bunch of friends to recommend it, and I'll be back for sure.

We came across this place as I try to taste all the wine bars in Denver. I thought their wine was pretty good but didn't try enough to have a strong opinion overall. The owners are so friendly and great, it felt very comfortable within minutes of being in there. I think their whole vibe is trying to not be the typical stuffy wine bar and allow a place for all levels of wine lovers. They have a nice patio in the back and comfy/grandmas house like chairs on the inside. Will be back!

Awesome place! I love how airy and bright it is inside with the cozy couches, big tables, and wall art. The people were friendly, and they didn't rush us at all. It was a wonderful place go catch-up with my friend over a glass of wine. They had a lovely happy hour menu too. I can't speak for the food though but did find their menu creative. They have a patio and some board games too. I'll be back!

Heather and Michael, the owners, are the absolute best! Warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We popped in for a night cap after dinner at Rocky Yama and appreciated how well priced the wines were. It's a chill indoor setting with a quaint outdoor patio. Support local in the Sante Fe arts district!

Super cozy neighborhood wine bar, been decorated super well. The owner wasn't very friendly, which surprised me based on other reviews. Barely even said hi, and made no recommendations on wine selections. However, the bartender was great, super attentive and kind. So bit of a mixed bag, I would try it again despite the cold reception from the owner.

Truly an amazing time!!! The interior is cozy and welcoming, the staff is amazing and walked us through any questions we had. We happened to come in on trivia night and that was a blast! I decided to order a bottle and was offered multiple tastings and given a discount on the bottle. Thank you so much for the amazing time, definitely will be coming back!

Hidden gem!!! What a find by my cousin. We spent a couple hours here sippin on wine, beer, and some snacks while teaching my 7 year old how to play Apples to Apples about a month ago. The owners are amazing and so knowledgeable. Fast forward to a couple days ago...we had my wife's 40th bday party there. They allowed us to bring our own food, decorate a bit, and reserved the back patio for us. If you're down to support small, local businesses... it doesn't get any better than this!

I would recommend Room for Friends to anyone and everyone. The owners are not only great bartenders but people you want to be friends with. All the wine options are phenomenal and the food is a must try. I highly recommend trying the homemade ranch. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.

Wow, what a gem of a find on Santa Fe! Great wine choices, small nibbles and such a fun atmosphere with various events throughout the week! I discovered an outdoor patio area that was so quant and quiet.

Great atmosphere with wonderful service. I really enjoyed karaoke here. It is a very accepting place. The drinks are reasonably priced and the servers are very kind as well. I did not have any food here.

Looking for respite after a busy day in Denver, Room for Friends was a welcoming & delicious destination. Heather and Michael (owners) are very warm and accommodating with excellent recommendations tailored to our personal tastes. Sample sips of new wines ensured we would enjoy every glass. Not only did we find renewal but also enjoyed several delightful wines and snack bites. Super comfy interior designed by Michael and Heather themselves. They've poured their passion and souls into this place!

This place is super cute. They are fairly new, and on a great spot on Santa Fe. Energy of this place was on point- great product, knowledge of wine-tenders was great, and they were incredibly friendly. I hope they are able to shift the interior a bit. The furniture sets seemed incohesive, more coffee shop than wine bar. Music played could use different genres too. Overall great experience.

Joined a group of friends here before a play and we all had a great time. They have a great happy hour! Love that they offer a crudité with the best homemade ranch dressing. The service was above and beyond. We will definitely return.

My friends and I met here for happy hour! The owners are so kind and welcoming, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable for groups, and the happy hour deals were great. We had a chuckle about and then enjoyed the Cheez-It flight. The other food on the menu sounds great, as well. We are looking forward to going back!

The bartenders and owners were so kind and so sweet. The vibe is very peaceful. The food is absolutely amazing, for the price and small menu they have to offer they nailed it! We tried the chicken sliders, chickpea bruschetta, bacon- cheese spread crackers and and lemon pepper sausage bites were incredible! definitely check this place out 5 stars through and through.
