I would rate this restaurant higher if I could. I used to eat non kosher and I’d rate this a 10/10 on a non kosher scale. For kosher, I’d rate it a 12/10 - if was that good. The food was fantastic, and service was great. We went with my almost 1 year old and they were very accommodating and made our dining experience absolutely lovely. Their flavors are spot on from drinks to sushi to meat. This restaurant is a must for all dining types!

Food is first class, we had the Rib Steak and the Bronzino, both among the best we've had. We had a meltdown for dessert, it tasted better than it sounds 🤤 Linoy is a treat, superior service and absolutely charming.

This place is absolutely priceless. Me and my partner were greeted by the most hospitable bunch of genuine people for our Valentine's dinner! Miguel, who took care of us, was very patient and kind and helped my partner and I finally decide on something to eat on this beautiful menu. It was difficult but after deciding we were met with a beautiful cocktail with a slice of passionfruit and some mint sprigs in it. Looked and tasted amazing. There was virtually no wait for the food and the staff made sure to check on us constantly. The food is another story, I should write a book! Had the Argentinian steak, black truffle lamb chops, and to finish it a beautifully put together lemon mousse! A must have dessert by the way. I haven’t had such an experience like this in a very long time and I cannot wait to go again. Thank you for everything

This is the pinnacle of Kosher (meat) restaurants in NYC. Great Kosher wine selection, an excellent meal. Truly incredible. Big shouts out to the server, chef, and the food runner!

I had an unbelievable experience. The drink the food the dessert were all delicious. The service was done with a smile and such grace and class. Will be telling everyone to dine here

Most delicious food I've had. We ordered the risotto that is delicious, the Holly ravioli with amazing taste, the softest steamed short ribs. And the berry desert that is one of the best desserts I've had in a Kosher restaurant. The dishes are so cool and different, and the way the food is plated is beautiful. My one complaint I wish the portions were doubting the size, but that's cause I loved the food. If you want a great place to impress clients, a date or to celebrate, this restaurant has the best dishes. ---- Went back 😋 The cheek is delicious and supper soft.

Great restaurant with ample choice. From the regulars to the extraordinary. Started with sweetbreads and short rib soup and enjoyed a ribeye and beef cheek(advisable!) as an entree. Ask to be seated with Samira and be sure to have great advise and a delightful evening.

The food is unique, tasty and delicious. The creamy purées with many of the dishes burst with flavor and go so well together. I highly recommend some of the starters, the sea bass and the eggplant with short ribs and mushrooms over it.

Truly a great surprise. We ordered an Argentinian steak and a ribeye. We also their salad which you can see in the photos, but I do not recall the name of the salad. Service is top notch in terms of pleasantry exchanges, attentiveness and a genuine interest in making the experience welcoming and comfortable. Happy we stumbled onto this place by chance.

The food here is Kosher, and it is amazing! I ordered the Lamb burger, and it was delicious. The Lamb was fresh and savory. The prosecco was also wonderful. The waiter was so kind, and he provided excellent service. The ambiance was classy and romantic. This restaurant is perfect!

Me, my wife , my 3 kids and my mother in law went to Rothschild and had a reservation and didn't get seated at all. They had let people sit that weren't eating and they had tables uncleaned for the next people. This is NOT a restaurant I would recommend, they made excuses and in the end we all had to leave due to the fact they did not make an effort to seat us. We had asked multiple times how much longer we had to wait even though we had a reservation and couldn't even give us an answer.

Fantastic burgers here. Expensive but you get what you pay for! Tried them for the first time earlier this month and will come again.

Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere. I can't imagine more creative menu or carefully curated drinks. I look forward to my next visit the minute I leave this place. Can't wait to come back.

Last night I ordered the Miami Cigars and Argentina Steak. Both were excellent, should have ordered at least another order of the Miami Cigars. My wife ordered sushi which was great. Service was awesome, no complaints, we are looking forward to coming back

delicious fresh food and amazing service. we would definitely return and recommend. One person was gluten free and wait staff was very knowledgeable about which dishes she could eat.

Hip spot and good kosher food. But, $44 for a burger. Really? I mean it was a good burger. I got the lamb burger with a pretzel bun and fries (see picture). But $44? And $24 for 2 Miami Cigars? Sorry but that's just a bit ridiculous. I mean if you didn't keep kosher, you could go to the Polo Bar and get a burger cheaper than that. In addition, the service was terrible. Took forever for someone to take our order, water was filled once toward the end of the meal after we asked and took forever to get the check. So 1 star for decor, 2 stars for food quality but a star off for service and a star off for price.

Had such a great experience here. The wait staff was great and the food options are as well. The ambiance in cleanliness of the establishment really stood out.

Went to Rothschild TLV tonight with my wife. Made reservations online and we were seating almost immediately upon arriving. The waitress, Dalmina , was so friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu. Having an allergy or two, she quickly went to the chef and spoke with the kitchen staff, who not only advised which dishes could have substitutions in place of my allergy, but she came back with a paper menu with notes from the kitchen staff and chef highlighting what not to order. After ordering three starters and being amazed at the tastes presentation, our main courses arrived. When you ask for a certain temperature for your steak, it was spot on! The side veggies were immaculate, and a perfect fit for a steak entree. Struggling to figure out wether to order desert or not, we chose to order and wow were we amazed!! The deserts looked like art and tasted like heaven. Fortunately, we got to meet the chef/owner Tal Abaov, and gave him the biggest smiles and compliments on the food of this incredible restaurant and of course that we would be writing a review about the positive experience we had here. We most highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons and will definitely be back again!

I agree with the other reviews that this is a rude establishment. I was sitting at the bar having a glass of wine. The rabbi who apparently is part of the management came over and spoke very rudely to me regarding a takeout coffee cup I had sitting on the bar, "Do you know this is a kosher restaurant?" he said, "We don't allow outside drinks." I wasn't drinking the coffee, the cup was empty, i had only just set it on the bar when I came in. He said -(he didn't ask)- he would like to throw it away, and I agreed, but the manner in which he was speaking to me was strange and unnecessarily rude . The bartender and server had been very nice and the wine was good, but the brusque way the rabbi approached and spoke to me about this coffee cup I had on the bar was odd and turned me off from wanting to ever come back. It's a shame because I had wanted to support this restaurant.

Rather overpriced, and the service is unfriendly. Quite strange for a new place . When we were there they seemed to go out of their way to be warm and nice to "certain" clientele, and be almost comedically abrupt and icy with the rest. A very strange business model. However I have seen quite a few people here eating outside since they put their street seating up, and I'm also rooting for all local businesses which dare to start up during Covid.

$22 for French Fries plus 20% tip. Plus tax. = $30 for French fries. People look at the menu on line no prices. .

Did take out last night. The food was awesome. I had the creamy white onion soup. Delicious. Then I had 2 orders of Miami cigars. I love them. I also had the Jerusalem bread. Saved some for today's lunch. My husband had the lamb burger with homemade French Fries. He gobbled it up. We will definitely be ordering again on Friday for Shabbat dinner.

Wow so excited to have a place like this on the UES. Really limited kosher options with a great vibe like Rothschild TLV. I would 100% come back just for the atmosphere. The food was very good. Lamb burger was UNREAL. Apps were okay. I think I would order differently next time. The one thing that always baffles me is the terrible service in kosher establishments. And this restaurant was more of the same. The staff was overextended and underprepared to service the amount of people in the restaurant. When I go out to a nice restaurant I expect to be waited on and checked in on to see if I need something. They either need to hire more staff or do some more training because I don't think it's acceptable to charge those prices and be ignored during your meal.

Absolutely spectacular food and ambience. The chef is very creative. I have only had fantastic meals here. The tuna carpaccio and liver pate are outstanding appetizers. Highly recommend!!

There are no words to describe how wonderful this restaurant is. If you're a fine food connoisseur you don't want to miss this experience. Tal, The chef and owner goes beyond to make everything so perfect, unique, and tasty. You can see and taste his personality in the food and presentation, beyond anything I've ever ate and I've ate at the best restaurants in the world. I can't wait to go back again and again!! Randy C

Was in Ny for a wedding. Food was great, service was a little slow. Meat was grade A quality and ambiance was good. Have to knock off a star due to the long wait it took to get our steaks.

The management here was so beyond rude to me when I tried to cancel my reservation. Beware that they are ruthless. Not the kind of establishment I want to patronize and would not recommend to others. Beware of making a reservation here.

Rothchilds TLV with Chef Tal is my family and friends' 2nd home. Great atmosphere, impeccable service, consistent delicious, scrumptious, & creative food creations by our favorite chef Tal. A must!

Love this place !!!! Highly recommended delicious food, Me and my kids was visiting from Los Angeles, our friend recommended us to visit that restaurant, me and my kids love it!!!

Fantastic meals @ Rothschild TLV. I ordered their lamp chop appetizer- highly recommend. Their ribeye steak (had on another visit) was tender, juicy, had a nice crust and perfectly cooked. I also tried their fried striped bass on one occasion and was extremely surprised by how good it was - usually do not eat fish at a kosher restaurant. Service was superb. Met the owner, Tal, and he is a very serious restauranteur and Chef. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed our meal here. We sat outside on the sidewalk and received very attentive service. Water cup was always filled and waiters were nearby at all times even though the restaurant was quite busy both indoors and outside. Beef cigars were quite good. Had high hopes for the risotto appetizer with short rib and truffle but it was just OK. Portion was small and it didn't really 'wow' us. Cauliflower appetizer looked much better so maybe we'll try that next time. The short rib flatbread also looked great--would come back for that too. Highly recommend the beef burger. It tasted like a high quality burger and the fries are fresh potatoes, not frozen. Like other reviewers have mentioned it is on the pricier side. It was worth it in our opinion!

The food was fine, but the service very slow, especially for a empty restaurant. There was also a foul odor in the restaurant. Not very appetizing.

Place is expensive. Food is mediocre. Bad customer service.... Left there my CC asked them to mail I was rudely told by owner that they don't work for postal office....

Upscale ambience, foot that you can tell was prepared by an excellent chef, and attentive service. Nice restaurant.

Poor service. Too loud. Couldn't get temp right on burgers twice. Way overpriced for mediocre quality. Taking advantage of their captive audience

We came with high expectations and left disappointed. Berger was burnt, sigars with no tast. We ordered the Salmon, we got it cold and the soup took forever to arrive. Highly priced low quality.

Overpriced, and the food was average. Dessert was inedible, first time in life. Drinks were good.

Amazing Food & Service! Have gotten takeout multiple times, finally had the pleasure of sitting outside to enjoy it and didn't disappoint!

Highway robbery. Different prices on the menu for take-out vs sitting out on the street-more expensive on the street where you can possibly get hit by a car. They charged me $12 for a bottle of pelligrino water. The food was not even worth it. Great time to price gauge!

Horrible service. Very rude. Waiters were standing doing nothing and not coming to take our order for a good 15 minutes. We had to ask them to take care of us and when we did, we were told to wait, they are busy! And in the end because we tipped $2 less (when we shouldnt have tipped at all), they had the audacity to come and tell us that we need to give the minimum tip. He justified his attitude due to us having no prior reservations and doing a walk-in. No apologies were made. Food was also not tasty at all. Never coming here again.

The food was amazing! A world of new flavors and discoveries. Unfortunately, the waiting time to get our starters was a little long, but then it got worse and we had to wait over 40 minutes (and asking several times the waiter!!!) to get our main course. So: great food - the best I have eaten in a along time, but very bad kitchen-timing.

Have walked past this restaurant since the day it first opened and finally made a reservation. It was excellent. Marina was our server and was so helpful and knowledgeable. The food was so flavorful and the drinks were prefect. We recommend the mushroom flatbread, cigars, risotto, chicken soup and tuna! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! My only regret is that I didn't come sooner! Can't wait to go back and bring more people with us! We needed this on the UES!

Food and service were fantastic! We were greeted warmly/seated right away. We ordered the cigars to share as an appetizer. They were outstanding. Hubby got the lamb burger. Our son got the beef burger. Their orders came with fries. I got the salmon with fingerling potatoes. Everything looked and tasted delicious. Service was on point. Will definitely be returning.

Extremely expensive. Apetizers are good. Main dishes are not good. They'll add 20% tip even for a table of 5. Very noisy. They make some kind of cocktail with a very strong smell,, very bad.. Not going back.

Their salmon with fingerling potatoes is amazing! The combination of olives, capers, fresh garlic and spices creates a mouth watering treat. The grilled vegetables with cauliflower, rainbow carrots, mushrooms is delicious too!
