"Everything we've said about RPM Steak holds true for its River North sibling RPM Italian. This giant restaurant with plenty of big booths is the opposite of laid-back, but it’s a fantastic choice if you’re craving delicious pasta and want to see and be seen. The pasta dishes rotate, but we've yet to find a bad one. Definitely get the hearty bucatini, a longtime staple that's also one of the best pastas in the city." - john ringor, nick allen, adrian kane
"Look, it’s not our fault that a restaurant filled with tourists and owned by former E! Reality stars has some of the best Italian food in the city. RPM Italian in River North has big booths that can fit eight of your closest friends, an absurd amount of space, and feels like a 2009 episode of Gossip Girl, along with great service and delicious food. In fact, this spot’s bucatini pomodoro is one of our all-time favorite pastas. Don’t fight it—book a party trolley and just come here." - adrian kane, veda kilaru, john ringor, nick allen
"If Pasta Palazzo is where to go in your sweatpants, RPM Italian is the complete opposite. There’s nothing low-key about this spot in River North, but there’s a certain amount of anonymity that’s relaxing when you’re dining solo at the bar of a sceney restaurant. The people-watching here is excellent, and so are the handmade pastas—the bucatini and cavatelli are some of our favorites in the city. Plus, the infuriatingly-small-when-sharing portions are perfect for one person." - adrian kane, veda kilaru, nick allen
"As you might suspect, RPM Italian is the sister restaurant to RPM Steak, and everything we said about its steakhouse sibling holds true for their Italian restaurant, too. It’s the opposite of laid-back, but it’s a fantastic choice if you’re craving delicious pastas and don’t mind tourists and seeing and/or being seen. The bucatini here is some of the best in Chicago." - adrian kane, john ringor, veda kilaru
"For a modern steakhouse twist on a beloved Italian-American Christmas tradition, RPM Italian at the Forum Shops at Caesars will offer a five-course menu to celebrate the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. For $125 per person, guests will enjoy elevated Italian dishes such as king crab tortellini, seafood risotto, Maine scallops and filet mignon." - Emmy Kasten
