Pasta, steaks & seafood served in a sleek, group-friendly eatery backed by Giuliana & Bill Rancic.
"Put an Italian spin on the celebration with a three-course Thanksgiving meal ($98 per person) that includes options such as butternut squash agnolotti, turkey, and Barolo-braised short rib. Holiday desserts are available a la carte. Make a reservation through OpenTable." - Lisa Shames, Eater Staff
"Because the RPM restaurants are co-dependent and can’t do anything without each other, RPM Italian is also doing Thanksgiving, with turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and pasta like butternut squash tortelli. And since this is the Italian restaurant equivalent of RPM Steak, everything we just said about that place applies here, too. Well, except for the food. And the price. And the location. OK, it’s different, but it definitely will have the same Spotify playlist. Maybe. The meal: Three-course prix fixe, $98 per person" - adrian kane, veda kilaru
"Look, it’s not our fault that a restaurant filled with tourists and owned by former E! Reality stars has some of the best Italian food in the city. RPM Italian in River North has big booths that can fit eight of your closest friends, an absurd amount of space, and feels like a 2009 episode of Gossip Girl, along with great service and delicious food. In fact, this spot’s bucatini pomodoro is one of our all-time favorite pastas. Don’t fight it—book a party trolley and just come here." - adrian kane, veda kilaru, john ringor
"As you might suspect, RPM Italian is the sister restaurant to RPM Steak, and everything we said about its steakhouse sibling holds true for their Italian restaurant, too. It’s the opposite of laid-back, but it’s a fantastic choice if you’re craving delicious pastas and don’t mind tourists and seeing and/or being seen. The bucatini here is some of the best in Chicago." - adrian kane, john ringor, veda kilaru
"For obvious reasons, pasta might not be your go-to. But RPM’s extensive gluten-free menu has fettuccine you can substitute for the regular stuff (and it actually tastes good), in addition to dishes you might not think of, like bruschetta made with gluten-free bread. Yes, this place is expensive, but for a nice night out RPM Italian can safely go in your rotation." - adrian kane, veda kilaru, john ringor
