"When your sibling has a reputation as iconic as Rich Table’s, you better perform. And RT Rotisserie’s slightly sweet fried chicken sandwich is equally brilliant and complex as anything you'd get at its sister restaurant, yet more lowkey in its genius. Beautifully seasoned chicken is topped with pickled onions, chipotle yogurt, and cabbage, then stuffed between a soft brioche bun. Stop by either their Hayes Valley or NoPa locations for your fix." - julia chen 1, lani conway, patrick wong
"RT Rotisserie is the casual offshoot of Rich Table, located a block away, but here they have a simple menu of roasted chicken, sandwiches, salads, and more. You can get half a bird for $13.20, which is one of the more affordable and filling meals you can find in the neighborhood. This place is super casual and they have wine both by the glass and bottle—it makes this one of our favorite spots to come for a casual midweek catch-up with a few friends." - julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez, patrick wong
"Rich Table's casual spin-off serves sandwiches, rice bowls, and roasted whole and half chickens. But what you really need to know about this place is they also have creamy soft serve. Sweet milk flavor is always on the menu, as is another that changes seasonally (expect to see things like mandarin orange, cantaloupe, and strawberry sorbet). If you can’t decide between the two, just get them swirled." - julia chen 1, lani conway, patrick wong
"This rotisserie-focused spinoff of Rich Table from chef-owners Sarah and Evan Rich has seating for diners who want to order their chicken, pork, or roasted cauliflower and linger for indoor dining — but it’s also aiming squarely at the growing delivery market (now to Peninsula customers, too, via a new Redwood City virtual kitchen). It is offering a full menu of its rotisserie items plain or in sandwich form, plus salads and even chicken soup." - Dianne de Guzman
"Order at the counter, then get ready for some of the best roasted things you’ve ever eaten. While the rotisserie chicken at this Hayes Valley spot is definitely worth your time, the cauliflower might actually be our favorite. It also happens to be a vegetarian entree that’s filling and delicious and not pasta. Overall, this is one of the best places in SF for an inexpensive, healthy dinner." - taylor abrams, will kamensky
