I've been craving prime rib for a while, but I don't usually feel like having it. I searched all over town for prime rib and then remembered this place where I suggested to my friend that we have a birthday dinner, and he agreed. I ended up ordering a bone-in prime rib with a baked potato and mixed vegetables. While I was there, I also remembered that they had delicious French onion soup. My friend ordered chopped steak with a baked potato and French onion soup.
I know my friend enjoyed his meal, but let me tell you about mine. We were fortunate enough to have a waitress named Kristina. Kristina has only been working there for a couple of weeks, but you couldn't tell. This server was on point and definitely an asset to this establishment. She alone would be enough of a reason to give a 10-star rating, even though the review only allows five stars.
The French onion soup was delicious. From now on, when I think about prime rib or French onion soup, this will be the place I go to.
Kristina surprised me with a cake and a candle and wished me a happy birthday. She truly is the complete package, so if you ask for her, make sure you tip her properly.
When you first walk into the building, you enter through a patio area that's close to where people are smoking, and it's kind of unpleasant. But once you get inside, everybody is smiling and everything is running smoothly like a well-oiled machine. Even though the ambiance is great, the place is clearly dated as they've been around for, I believe, 50 years.
