Despite arriving more than 10 minutes early, I waited longer than my reservation time and a group that arrived later was seated first. When my seat was called, the waiter didn't call my name like the other customers even though it's not hard to pronounce (first time this happens in a reservation only shop). Upon entering the restaurant, I was seated at a small two-seater counter facing the wall, even though there were seats available at the main counter, where the waitress kept bumping into me occasionally, so instead of being able to see the staff preparing my food, I just stared at the wall. As an amateur ramen chef, this should have been a learning experience, but instead, I feel like it taught me how to not treat your customers. The food itself wasn't as extravagant as the reviews suggested, especially considering the price. The only toppings I really liked were the smoked meat and fried enoki mushrooms, the soup and noodles were good but nothing extraordinary. The other toppings weren't particularly memorable, but they weren't bad by any means. I wouldn't say I disliked the food, but I wish I was treated with more mindful service. Since I'm a foreigner, this may only be an issue for foreign customers.
