The Guide To Affordable Eating in Beverly Hills - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This stark French bakery/cafe has delicious food, affordable prices, and efficient service that’s perfect for when you’re in a rush. Plenty of people come to Chaumont just to stock up on their fresh daily pastries and we don’t blame them. But we like to sit for a few minutes, scarf down the spicy tuna sandwich, and then pick up some pastries to-go." - brant cox

Where To Eat Lunch In Beverly Hills

"Chaumont Cafe is where you go if you need dessert either after or as your meal. Not only do they have affordable salads and sandwiches, but they also sell a range of personal-sized pastries and cakes and, more importantly, soft-serve ice cream in a croissant cone. The service here is fast, and the space makes for a good spot to sit and read, or get some work done, or wait for likes on your photo of your croissant ice cream cone." - amy clark

Hi! Today I ordered my favorite smoked salmon croissant with poached eggs, and I was surprised to get a different salmon croissant. I was told that the recipe had been changed about a month ago… I tried it and it had a very different taste, and it was not to my liking. This version might be good for some other people, but not for me. I would suggest to keep both versions as definitely the older version of smoked salmon croissant has very different taste and appearance. I hope the owners will hear me, and will incorporate my suggestion as I really like the place and the quality of the ingredients and the ambience. Thank you

The food was good, but nothing amazing. It gets crowded and thus the service is slow. It's a nice place but unfortunately not coming back.

I’m always afraid to try new things. I’m a simple person, but I came here to California from Albuquerque and I wanted to try something different. Something that Albuquerque did not have and I was so pleased with the food. Great breakfast croissant was amazing with the eggs and bacon coffee it was amazing next time. I’m in LA. I am coming here again. Service was amazing. These guys are awesome.

Wonderful place. A fantastic assortment of delicious pastries and warm atmosphere. Ordered a latte and banana chocolate croissant which were brought to my table outside in the sun which was very nice. Both were exceptional with one error being there was a piece of plastic in my croissant. I pointed this out upon the return of my server and he was apologetic and then returned shortly after with a new croissant and lemonade on the house to vindicate themselves for the problem. It happens not a big deal, I still look forward to returning in the future to further try their selection.

Disappointing. We ordered avocado on toast, which was OK but the coffee was pretty average and the matcha was disgusting. Also, the service was very, very slow and even the most simple order such as toast and jam was delivered incorrectly. Toast was not toast and had to ask four times for butter and jam. Also, the furniture inside both the vegan, and the main are very worn down and scratched, and the general quality of the dining room is tired. If you must order - get a pastry to go don’t ever eat in and avoid the coffee. There’s far better coffee shops across the road.
