Rustic wood-fired pizzas, antipasti, and weekend brunch

"Homeslice are delivering their 20-inch pizzas all over the East End, so if you live around EC1 order here or here." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"This is a one-stop destination: all three of these high-quality Soho House-owned restaurants in a single building. Which one to go to? Depends on what you’re looking for. Dirty Burger is in a semi-outdoor shack at the back, and we love it in decent weather - these are easily the best burgers in KT. For vibe (and killer apple pie), choose Chicken Shop in the basement. For top-notch food, and not just the pizza (and for low-priced cocktails), go for Pizza East’s big, light-filled ground-floor space." - Richard Ehrlich

"Founded by the Soho House Group in 2009, the original east London site occupied a significant portion of the Tea Building's ground floor, which also houses the group's Shoreditch members' club. The large, industrial‑chic restaurant featured exposed brick and industrial fixtures and served charred wood‑oven pizzas alongside oven‑roasted meats, salads and a selection of wines and cocktails presented in Duralex glassware. The location closed permanently on 15 January 2023 amid reported internal strategic priorities and personnel changes at the parent group." - Adam Coghlan

"At four locations deep (three of them are in the UK), this casual Italian joint can easily qualify as a chain. Their approach to pizza, however, is very mom-and-pop: all are made in a wood-burning oven, resulting in a chewy, crispy crust that's actually pretty hard to find in London. You can get a table inside the sprawling, industrial-looking dining room, have a quick snack at their bar, or order for takeaway. "
