Excellent home cooking, essential Shanghai style food. Shanghai has its own unique cultural food that is often over looked. It is more than just soup dumplings. Lots of fresh seafood, very delicate meals. I went here like many others because of the Bourdain episode. I called and made a reservation the night that episode aired and you could tell the owner was already over whelmed by the response. No menu, she just tells you what she's cooking and what you should order and won't let you order more than she thinks you can eat. I've been several times over the years and have loved it every visit. Coufu, river crabs, shell on shrimp, etc. Can't be beat.
