The Best Restaurants and Bars in Reno, Nevada | Eater Vegas

"Perenn began as a modest Midtown bakery and expanded its scope with a larger space and menu at Rancharrah, a suburban outdoor plaza with a farmhouse aesthetic. Pastries and baked goods are specialties of the house. (How could they not be when the wifi password is “glutenlover”?) Try the griddled banana bread with perfectly crispy edges, buttery and layered croissants, and chewy miso peanut butter cookies. Perenn balances out the menu with savory dishes like a grilled-barely-above-rare salmon filet and the popular Turkish eggs: sunny side up with a dollop of yogurt, chickpeas, and chili oil with house-baked bread on the side. Bring your appetite — and patience. Everyone orders at the same counter and the line gets long, allowing patrons to browse the pastry collection, cakes, and a few retail items while waiting to place an order. Perenn also runs a small, separate grocery market in a neighboring space that’s far less chaotic, but shares the same dedication to uniquely artisan food products." - Rob Kachelriess

Wow! What a luxurious and delicious breakfast. We loved the Turkish eggs and egg croissant sandwich. The cappuccinos were perfect. Great outdoor seating and friendly service.

This is one of the best pastry bakeries in the world. Not just in town, or Nevada, or the US. I lived in Hanoi. Love some great French pastries as they are still available there. Been to Paris many, many times. Love a great puff pastry filled with chocolate. But I never had a Vanilla Creme Brulee puff pastry in France. Do it! You won't regret it. Or maybe you will, later when your yoga instructor shames you for it....but not while you are eating it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Long wait even though Monday morning! Perenn Bakery is a gem for pastry lovers in Reno. The craftsmanship in their viennoiserie is next-level — the kouign‑amann, baklava croissant, and prosciutto-gruyère croissant are absolutely incredible. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and I appreciate their focus on organic flour, pasture-raised eggs, and fair-trade coffee. The vibe is also great — bright, clean, and very European. You can even see the baking process, which is a nice touch! That said, it’s definitely on the pricier side. Expect to pay $6–$8 for a pastry, and sandwiches or salads can run over $20. While the pastries are totally worth it, I found some of the savory dishes a bit underwhelming for the price. Overall, Perenn is a beautiful spot to treat yourself or impress a friend — just know you’re paying for quality and atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in for a pastry and coffee!

Ordered for a takeout of the egg croissant and I waited more or less 20 mins for just that one thing, I even had to remind the staff about it since it looked like they forgot about my order. Don’t really recommend this place if you’re in a rush. It was probably a busy noon for them since everything looked chaotic. As for the croissant itself, personally, it looked aesthetic but was so bland—definitely not worth $20+ 😬

Google
Perenn has a lot of potential to be great, but after coming here regularly for the last few months has made me question that. Let's start with the good: Atmosphere: Aesthetically pleasing on the inside, fairly spacious Food: One of the very few places that has different options for breakfast that isn't the basic American breakfast combo. Service: Friendly staff The bad: Atmosphere: Gets very loud, especially when they get busy. Tip: google gives you their "busy times" so you know when to avoid the crowds. Food: Incredibly inconsistent with quantity and warmth. I've had times where the food came out promptly and you didn't feel like they "skimped" on the food you paid for. Other times, it felt like they were scraping the bottom of the bowl and without a care gave it to you stone cold. Perhaps due to different cooks working that day and/or gets overwhelming with the crowds. Regardless, a restaurant that is managed well can still be consistent. Service: 99% of the time that I have come, the tables are not wiped even though they've been cleared off. Would be good if they had at least 2 people assigned to buss the tables, one being on the "floor" at all times during the busier times. From my observations, lack of staff, organization, and proper operations contributes to poor quality and service. For how much you pay for, this place is mediocre in my mind. A matcha latte and Turkish eggs come to $30-ish in total before tip. If a business is charging that much, then I expect better. It's sad that local businesses like this attract a large number of people for the "uniqueness" but in the end can't seem to uphold a certain standard that they so promise in their mission. However, due to the very limited options in Reno, I will continue to come here. Just less often and earlier in the day. Our people: "our team members' hard work truly makes a difference and helps us in our pursuit of unsurpassed quality". Attached are some photos, did not take pics with every visit. Lemon ricotta pancakes, variations of the crunchy brunch potatoes (extra egg, side of bacon, mushrooms instead of the bacon jam), and Turkish eggs.

Google
My fav brunch spot - super cute! The food and the pastry were always a hit!! Can only recommend it!

Google
If I could give 10 stars I would. The food and atmosphere are perfect. The Turkish eggs are my favorite. The pastry selection is amazing and their rotating coffee menu is so fun. Bring your family, bring out of town guests, sure to impress and leave with memories made. Expect to spend $$$$ though. Hard to get out of there under $30.

Google
I usually don't order avocado toast at places because they feel like a sham and not worth the money, but WOW this is the best avocado toast I ever had. Well spiced, good lemon, bread is amazing here. Also got the prosciutto gruyerew croissant. I love it all. Would come back

Yelp
Yes, it's worth many visits! First visit today, after hearing so much good for so long I finally made it. But I didn't realize was that in addition to amazing pastries they also have other foods. Many dishes I would like to go back and try as I saw other people eating during the time we were there. And did I mention pastries? YES! Everything I tried was amazing! First and foremost is the croissant cinnamon roll, totally novel concept and I can't believe everything isn't just a croissant or something. A cinnamon roll, but now it has flaky and tender layers to add to the fund of eating a magnificent cinnamon roll. It was quite Rich and got more so closer to the center, so I'm really glad I had an iced beverage although the day certainly called for a warm beverage. Seating inside is at a premium. The place was busy the entire time we were there, definitely not enough seating for everybody. Fortunately, they have plenty of outdoor seating. We got a sample of banana bread, and it was really tasty. You can tell there was plenty of banana baked into that bread. It had an ooen crumb instead of the usually dense loaf. I brought home the seasonal danish, it was a cheese danish with a mango compote on top. The puff pastry was just good on its own, without any of the toppings I would've been happy. The Earl Grey cookie, my daughter said it was like drinking her favorite cup of tea. It really had the essence of Earl Grey. And it was a good sized, tender cookie to make a cookie snob smile. This is a perfect place to go solo, or with friends. Anytime that it's open, there is something for you. The gentleman next to me had schnitzel, and it looked and sounded amazing. It's definitely on the list.

Yelp
Bakery connoisseur here this is a fabulous bakery the snacks and treats and desserts coming from one of the best bakery's in the Lake Tahoe region!! This one's been on my bucket list cause usually I was too hungover to make it and the line would be around the corner. It wasn't that bad but this place has a lot of hype and for good reason! What separates this place from the rest is the sheer quality in each individual treat of baked good. This place has some baked stuff I've never heard off before. Like 'Crème brûlée French toast bread'! I would commit crimes for a loaf for that stuff! Everything that my brother and me ordered was phenomenal! Although line was long on the Saturday morning we came in and service was a tad slow for take home baked goods. Maybe at some point they will have to get a larger bakery at some point or separate the restaurant services. Nonetheless it was still all so worth it. Still have got a chance to explore the restaurant side of this small bakery. Can't wait to explore the rest of the bakery and see what new items they come up with. My favorites were the crème brûlée French toast bread, croissant cinnamon roll, and the crème brûlée itself I had to try because the pictures on the internet looked so darn good! Truly mouth watering writing this thinking about the last bite I had... don't forget to support your local businesses come down and get in line it's worth it!

Yelp
Having a true blue French-style bakery in our biggest, little city is incredible. Their pastries are delectable -- flakey and buttery with a perfect crunch upon first bite. Their service Is fast even when that kine is out the door. The staff is always friendly and points out specials and goes over ingredients. I appreciate that extra effort made knowing they are always busy. Our family favorites are the croissants -- plain, almond, chocolate and their daily danish is a DON'T MISS! When you need a special treat for visiting family or a just because moment, be sure to stop by Perenn.

Yelp
I know we are late to the party on this one. My wife and I are both teachers so we aren't able to venture out during the week when some of the other businesses close by midday. I had done some yelping and came across this bakery/restaurant/coffee shop. The decor is a very modern farmhouse/rustic approach. With a Bay Area or LA vibe There's a freezer with premade bakery treats to pick out near the queue. They have many options from clothing to their own granola to baked bread, ready to take home. We were there to get some coffee. And what caught our eye was the amazing pastries they had, we decided to go with the croissant cinnamon roll and the banana nut bread. The cinnamon roll was super flaky and out of this world. The banana nut bread was moist, dense and a perfect combo with my latte. Kudos to the barista that day as these were the best lattes that we have ever had in Reno. We really enjoy a couple places downtown and this is so good. It's worth driving from Spanish Springs for. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Such an amazing bakery with great atmosphere and food. Staff are friendly and attentive. Large selection of breads and pastries. Coffee is great too! Place is small and always seems busy, can be challenging when weather doesn't permit sitting outside. They offer dinner service now too! We enjoyed lattes, Turkish breakfast, breakfast sandwich, avocado toast- all of which tasted amazing. The breakfast potatoes with the Turkish breakfast was certainly the highlight. Always a great place to eat and lots of other great stores in the same shopping mall. Worth a stop, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Stopped at Perenn on our way from Reno to Lake Tahoe! We loved how healthy and made-from-scratch all of the food was! Everything we had was tasty and we ate everything! I would definitely recommend and would be back next time we are in town!

Yelp
This is my favorite bakery in Reno, with their fresh pastries and option to toast them so they taste as if they're fresh from the oven. My biggest gripes are their inconsistencies in portions, menu items, and their lack of inside seating after placing an order. Previously their kale salad was quite large, but they've since shrunk to side salad portions. Their soups go on and come off the menu, as well as a few other menu options such as the fried chicken cutlet that used to accompany their salad. Now there's only a pork option.

Yelp
I love discovering new bakeries and this one is amazing. So much selection and all freshly baked by a crew that you can observe through their open kitchen. I ordered the double baked croissant and a latte for here and grabbed a rhubarb and strawberry danish, along with a chocolate croissant for to go. Delicious! They also have a nice breakfast menu and take away selections. Easy parking. Beautiful modern sitting area with high ceilings and natural tones that is very inviting. Casual. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Yelp
This is a great lunch spot in south Reno! They have one of the best pastries in town. I love their prosciutto Brie baguette. One of my top faves and they have amazing chocolate croissants. The staff are always friendly! They also have indoor and outdoor seating. Great spot!

Yelp
It's been three months and I CANNOT STOP thinking about the breakfast potatoes I had! My husband and I were visiting a Reno for Hot August Nights and I found this place on yelp nearby where I had spa services (I'll write about that one separately!) This restaurant is situated in an outdoor mall with a pavilion surrounded by quaint artisan shops in a beautifully planned suburb outside of town. Don't be deterred by the long line for brunch as it moves relatively fast and at the cashier there is a tempting selection of beautiful French inspired baked goods made on site where you order. I loved it so much I had to return the following day with hubby so he could see what the fuss was all about, and he cosigned that the breakfast potatoes were a standout! -- perfectly browned in fat; crunchy on the outside and soft inside, with a diced sweet bacon, Parmesan cheese, and an immaculate sunny side egg with chives on top! We washed it down with a mimosa and the meal kicked off our perfect day of dessert sun and beautiful cars...

Yelp
We stopped by Perenn on a Sunday morning while we were in the area. The space is bright and inviting, with big windows that let in lots of natural light. The wood tones and cozy touches give it a relaxed, comfortable feel. There's plenty of seating both inside and out, so it never feels cramped. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out once it's ready. We took our baked goods to go instead of dining in. The ordering process was a little slow, but both the cashier and the person handling the food were friendly and helpful. We tried the cookies and cinnamon buns, and both were really good. The buns were soft and pillowy, and the cookies had that nice chewy texture. Prices are on the higher side, which makes sense since it's positioned as a premium bakery. If I'm in the neighborhood again, I'd like to come back and try something from their food menu.

Yelp
Perenn Bakery is a wonderful store carries breads, pasta, cheese, sandwiches, and lotion. Everything you might need and it's so cute fun it has gluten-free pasta too, which is hard to find so I recommend this place because I got some wonderful marble rye bread and it was delicious, and gluten-free pasta so yes, I will be going back. Maybe you should try it too. also, it's in the Rancharrsh shopping center in Reno

Yelp
It's beautiful inside Perenn with its glorious windows letting the sun shine in. The tables/chairs are nice-looking and there are self-serve stations for coffee, water, and utensils. Mainly counter-service where the staff rings up your order and retrieves your pastries. Hubby and I over-ordered because there were so many great choices. They're on the pricey side for beautiful instagram-worthy pastries!! But, sadly, none of them were executed well; they were dry and the flavors were ok. We tried a $7 seasonal kouign amann, a $5 plain croisant, an $8 almond croissant, a $7 seasonal crufft, and a $4 drip coffee (which I did enjoy). There were no descriptions for the seasonal kouign amann or the seasonal crufft flavors/filling; it was my fault for not asking and assuming the fruit on top was all there was (I didn't care for the filling.) They also offer breakfast items, sandwiches, and salads. I'm glad we visited Perenn - the ambiance was lovely.

Yelp
This place is truly incredible! Fantastic ricotta pancakes and so many delicious pastries and breads (their baguettes are so tasty). We've been twice in the short time we've been in Reno and I do expect to be back again. It's very, very busy on the weekends so plan accordingly. The first time we stopped by was in the early afternoon on a Saturday and they were sold out of nearly everything. At least you know you are getting fresh baked goods when you stop by. The coffee is also very good, and my husband and I are pretty picky when it comes to our coffee. A well prepared cappuccino is something near and dear to my heart.

Dee B.

Yelp
Great quality pastries, baked goods, breads, and breakfast food, coffee at Perenn bakery - Rancharrah location in Reno. Not open all day, so it's quite busy and some goods may be sold out even before noon. Because it's popularity, it's busy so service can be a bit slow, but otherwise overall good quality products
google avatar

Jose R.

Yelp
I don't go to Perenn often but every time I do I tell myself "I should come here more often". Their pastries are always varied and delicious and they use really great I ingredients in all their dishes. Today I ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage, fluffy egg, avocado, chipotle mayo on a croissant bun. The sandwich was excellent and stacked high with everything. My wife got the Lemon Ricotta pancakes and they were thick and fluffy. We also got a Cappuccino and Macchiato which were both well made and tasty. Service was great and employees were all helpful. I have only come here for breakfast but definitely want to come for lunch since I saw somebody with a BLT that looked amazing.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Above average food. Ordered for pick up with one of the items being Turkish eggs for $26 and didn't even receive the toast mentioned in the description. Crispy potatoes were not crispy. Coming from California, "higher" cost takeout doesn't affect my rating but when the portions and awareness of take out order items lacks, it's ridiculous
google avatar

Farrah R.

Yelp
Fancy place, casual clientele. Chef-quality ingredients brought us back! You order at the counter, and they bring your hot food and drink to you. I have ordered a hot chai both visits so far and both chai looked different. We ordered Crispy Potatoes Breakfast, Croque Madame, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Chocolate Croissant, Kouign Amann on either visit, all pastries were delicious--flaky outside, tender inside or with a pudding inside. We tried the Crispy Potatoes with mushrooms and with sausage preferring the mushrooms. The pancakes were filling but a little dry. The Croque Madame was delicious and just enough for one person, me! I couldn't eat the salad though since I'm allergic to arugula, and they weren't keen on staying from the menu. We were excited to drive out from Sacramento to eat here a second time, but it may be awhile before we return. No special trip.
google avatar

Yelp
Be ready to stand in line due to popularity and wonderful food. Although you aren't waited on, the service and staff are fabulous. Authentic food and servers! Be prepared to pay extra for the dish, but well worth it.

Yelp
How and why does this magical pastry oasis exist in Reno freacking Nevada?! We'd do anything to have something of this caliber in Austin! Our friends actually recommended it to us and we stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town to Mammoth. Best idea ever! We walked in, took one look around, and just KNEW it would be amazing, and we were correct. Everything about this place--ambience, decor, service, and food--were top notch. We got our daughter the kid's breakfast plate and then loaded up on pastries. The kid's plate was such a steal! It had eggs, a cinnamon croissant, and ACTUAL fresh fruit (e.g. not the slimy melon chunks you usually see). Every baked item was to die for. We loved the mini-sandwich baguettes (got veggie and ham) because the bread was crispy and tender at the same time and all the fillings tasted super fresh. The cinnamon roll croissant was stellar and we all loved their chocolate candy cane croissant (just what!). The chocolate chip cookie with Maldon also deserves a special mention! We were also very pleased with our cold brew and iced latte. (In fact, we loved everything so much that we got MORE pastries to go and had those tonight, and we should say that the chocolate bouchon should not be missed! It's kind of like a tall brownie. We also loved the peppermint cookie and the banana bread...well, it's banana bread. Hard to go wrong.) They have a cute little market just across the way that sells a bunch of Fancy Stuff, and we got a couple fun little items to have on our road trip. All the staff were super friendly, the place was impeccably clean, and it was all good vibes. Apparently they've opened a location in Nashville. Please come to Austin!! We need you, Perenn!!! Five stars.
google avatar

Edgar Z.

Yelp
Just as delightful as I remember it...today I treated myself to a Cruffin and a latte and I suggest you do the same. An important part of holding a good reputation is consistency, and Perenn is still crushing it. Expect to be in line cuz it's bizzy! But very much worth the wait.
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes for this visit. Love Claio, but they unfortunately only serve brunch on weekends. The menu and preparation here is similar, but not quite as good, and while the location and interior are beautiful, it's simply way too overcrowded, even mid-morning on a weekday. Really long line, and while it was obvious seating was tight (tables were short on chairs), people were still holding extra chairs for bags/purses/etc. Not cool. Maybe staff could post or give polite reminders to ask people to be considerate? Outside seating that day wasn't usable because although it had rained overnight, no one had dried the tables and benches. TIP: try buying from a selection of pastries and bread (and other delicious food items) at their market next door and skip the line.

Yelp
When I moved to Reno 4 years ago, I found Perenn and was delighted to have found a chic bakery with many menu items such as chicken sandwich and salmon plates for brunch. They have since taken it off the menu and having been my go to place since, I have seen the changes which were for the worse, losing the chicken sandwich and eventually the fried chicken salad. They like to change things without considering they might be taking out regular customer favorites. The soup comes and goes on the menu and I've found they have less new options that are worth coming back for. The bakery also runs out of the good stuff and the ones left over at times are the ones that you can get anywhere. I would have given them 5 stars 4 years ago, and then 4 stars about 2 years ago, now I can only give them 3 stars since they still have the quality and nice setting to have a good brunch, but service has gone down a bit due to frequent turnover in staff, and their bussing of tables delay ability to get a seat inside, which in turn has people fighting over tables at times. They still are the best of this kind of option in town, but are far from where they were the best of the best when I first found them.
google avatar

Kimberly J.

Yelp
It's right next door to the Swift Imaging place, great treat after an MRI! Loved the croissants, and the sourdough, and the herbs de provence essence made the coffee so unique! Only complaint was the mealy square egg - tasted not at all fresh, maybe like it was previously frozen. Wished they woulda just used a fresh, soft boiled or runny egg instead.
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
Perenn is hands-down the best bakery in Reno -- no question. I stop by frequently, and it never disappoints. The pastries are next level: crisp, buttery layers with inventive, high-quality fillings. Their coffee is just as impressive -- smooth, rich, and consistently well-made. The location in The Village at Rancharrah adds to the whole experience -- upscale, airy, and perfect for a relaxed morning or brunch with friends. It feels elevated without being stuffy. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Everything tastes like it was made with care and top-tier ingredients. Also love that they've opened a grocery shop next door -- it's a unique addition with specialty items and provisions you won't find anywhere else in town. Total gem of a place.
google avatar

Craig H.

Yelp
Came here for one specific thing... the Croissant Cinnamon Roll. And wow--it was one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Pricey at $7, but absolutely worth the occasional splurge. I also couldn't resist trying one of their signature Croissant Snack Cookies--it looked unique, but ended up being a bit too sweet. Still, I'll definitely be back (and recommending) for another one of those incredible cinnamon rolls.
google avatar

Stacy R.

Yelp
Service is quick selection of pastries are delicious I've never had an off day and now they have a market behind their bakery with other products that we can't wait to try.

Zoeie M.

Yelp
Perenn is most known for their baked goods, but did you know they also served food? So far, their pan suisse with white chocolate, dried strawberries and a third ingredient I totally forgot about were super good, and reasonably priced too! Their breakfast sandwich (with sautéed mushrooms and an English bun) was tasty, although everything kept falling off the buns, and it was $12 for the sandwich. At least the very kind workers behind the counter were accommodating and gave me a cup of ketchup for my sandwich when I asked! I will keep coming here once in a while to try their other foods and pastries, and I will make sure to bring some friends and family, too!

Yelp
Honest take out review: Just what you'd expect it to be if you were dining in: 5/5 Always going to have to consider eating here before taking your meal home, but... when you have things to do! You can trust that the experience is going to be on the money. Crispy brunch potatoes: 5/5 The egg.... Perfection as it emulsifies perfectly with the pecorino and crème fraiche. Add the herbaceous bite from the micro greens and the sweetness from the bacon jam, and you're left with a texture filled bite that's crispy but soft, rich but light and getting a bite of a runny yolk that's tamed just right for your tongue to savor the experience. For a quick bite to eat on the go, it was definitely one I'll recommend you try as well, very well done!

Yelp
Hubby loves pastries and Perenn does not disappoint. We enjoy coming to Rancharrah when the weather is nice with our pup Jack and Perenn has a lovely patio, plus a few extra tables nearby (they can be very busy on weekends). Their inside is also beautifully sunlit. Tables are close together so it's a great place to eavesdrop, or just enjoy Reno community.

Yelp
Came here with one of my girlfriends this week. This bakery is pretty spectacular ! And their little store is adorable. We ordered some pastries and beverages. We sat outside under their patio. The seating was so cute. Inside there was plenty of seating too but the weather was too nice to not enjoy it. They also serve breakfast and lunch with a small selection of alcoholic beverages. I could easily see myself getting a nice breakfast with some champagne next time ! Their au gratin potato croissant was so unique as well as their earl grey cookies. We stopped inside their shop which had a wide variety of items. Tea, snacks, beverages, limited produce, frozen items, dishes and flatware, candles, lotions, beauty products and so so much more. I could have spent hours in here just looking at all they have. I gave four stars only because some items were out of my price range. But that's okay, supporting small businesses is worth it!

Yelp
As someone who's used to SF/LA brunches, I have an extremely high standard for my favorite meal of the day, and I was honestly so impressed with Perenn! Located in the Rancharrah neighborhood, this beautiful, farm-style brunch spot and bakery features a lovely rustic ambiance, and a menu and pastry selection that seriously rivals some of the best brunches that I've had. Everything we tried- from their seasonal latte, Turkish eggs, roasted potatoes to their earl grey cookie, crème brûlée kouign amann and their prosciutto croissant, were all tastefully made with high quality, fresh ingredients and excellent culinary execution. There can be a bit of a line during peak hours (although the line moves fast), but I would recommend coming earlier so you can avoid that + select from fully stocked pastries, since some quickly run out (like their seasonal apple pie pastry). I genuinely loved everything that I tried, and can't wait to be back again when I'm in Reno to try more off their menu!

Yelp
I have been to perenn many times for breakfast, lunch, and pastries. Their breakfast is good and their pastries are insane. Lunch has always been top notch as well. When I learned they were serving dinner I was excited to give it a try and that finally prompted me to leave a review after eating here dozens of times. We ordered the bread with ricotta, the escargot, and the chips and ham for appetizers. Everything was excellent but the ricotta with the honey and lemon was so good I could eat it with a spoon. For my entree I had the gnocchi which was pretty darn good. Not the best I've ever had but solid 4 stars. The other members of my group had the mussels and frites and the steak frites and I was told they were excellent. Also, for dinner service it appears that you have table side service in lieu of ordering at the counter and our server was so attentive and friendly. My one suggestion - a dessert menu!

I want to love Perren but this visit was kinda meh. Waited way too long for food. No silverware. At one point they were passing out plastic, My avocado toast was pretty darn small with nothing else on the plate to round it out. Fruit or something. A larger avocado toast would have been a much better experience and look. I love the ranch Harrah complex but also like to leave thinking I got my money's worth. I love their bread and their sourdough starter got my friends and I through Co-Vid. I need to remember that and focus on the good sourdough.

Yelp
So sad I didn't get any pictures but I had the best cinnamon roll I think I've ever had here so I ran to give it a review! It was a croissant flaky crust but still gooey and soft in the middle and the brown butter glaze was delicious! I would go back everyday just to get it! For my drink choice I their signature mascarpone latte that was recommended and i would describe it as an iced latte with a hint of almond flavoring, pretty tasty. I do wish it was a bit sweeter but that's just personal preference! Service was great, the lady was very nice and made everything very quick. This was all ordered from the Perenn cafe in the grocery store!

Yelp
*Coffee selections a bit limited but outstanding quality. Make sure you ask for bigger size as normal size is tiny. *Bakery/pastry/food selection is outstanding like your walking into a state of the art French bakery with everything you can imagine. *Crossiant breakfast sandwich is insane. As well as the cinnamon roll.

Yelp
This is a place to visit while in Reno. Their pastries are very fresh and the croissants are perfectionist! I love how you get all the flakes from the first bite. I tried their matcha cloud twice. The first time it was in a to go cup and it was already mixed. The second time I had it in a glass cup and you can definitely see the separation of the matcha cloud and liquid. I would recommend checking this out and then hangout in the village afterwards.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast yesterday and fell in love with the place. The business itself has been going since 2018 now with several locations. But this particular spot was built in 2020. I love the building, the woodwork and vaulted ceilings with iron I-beams the whole place is beautiful. The pastry display and cash stand are well thought out and efficient. For the food, my wife and I decided to split a pastry which was filled with Bavarian cream and it was amazing! We also shared the Turkish egg plate which came with chickpeas, tomatoes, fresh herbs and a spicy sauce this was also fantastic. The drip coffee we had was good. Overall I liked this place a lot, I would definitely come here again and I do recommend it!!

Yelp
Out of this world pastries! The lines are always long but it moves fast. Very helpful friendly staff. On the expensive side. Nice location to walk around and shop with your food and drink.

Yelp
A super cute, modern coffee shop and bakery with wonderful breakfast and lunch options! Service is excellent and food is served generally pretty quickly. My favorite dish is the avocado toast and definitely add the egg and bacon to it! We just tried the croissant snacks form the shelf items and they are addictive! A little pricey but definitely worth it!

Yelp
After a visit to Swift in the same center as this shop, my wife and I decided to make a stop here for breakfast. Very busy, and the wait was a little long but not too bad. The customer service was good and so were the breakfast sandwiches and coffees. The price is a little on the high side, but the ambiance was cool. Lots of other shops to check out after you eat here.

Yelp
The Rancharrah location is always great. The interior is so nice and cozy. The service is fast and the staff members are friendly. The food is delicious and the coffee's great! I got the Croque Madame and it was so delectable! I would get that again. I had it with truffle fries and it was heaven! The Vietnamese coffee was also delicious. I will come back here for sure!

Yelp
I had lunch here with a friend. I ordered the Garlic Confit Grilled Cheese with Prosciutto which came w/ fries. The sandwich overall was good tasting however the bread was very greasy, perhaps overladen with butter. I have a thing about hot fries and these were not. My friend had the Kale Salad and it looked really good. We both had the Honey Blue Jasmine Ice Tea, refreshing and pretty to look at. Nice selection of bread and other goodies.

Yelp
One of the best bakeries I've been to, we just grabbed some pastries and coffee to go and they were fantastic. You know it has to be good if on a random week day there's already a line shortly after opening and everyone is grabbing boxes of baked goods. They're a tad pricy, but one bite and you'll agree they're worth every penny. Almond croissant is a must. Twice baked croissants with almond filling is delicious, but that craggly sugar topping puts it over the top. Vanilla cream kouign amann is decadence in a nutshell for breakfast, but it's a signature item for a reason. Super laminated crisp, yet tender dough is the hallmark here of the croissant as well and you feel ruined after trying these gems. We were going for a picnic lunch too, so we also grabbed some of the stuffed baguettes. Great chew, shattering crisp outer crust, which epitomizes a great french baguette. The cheese and prosicutto are a bit lopsided in the bread, but tastes good when you get a bite of it. And to top it all of are the earl grey cookies - fantastic fun spin on a cookie that screams tea time in the best way possible. Love the brown butter notes, love the sea salt, love the strong tea forward flavor. Flawless execution as a bakery. The outdoor area is also great to sit and have the kids run around too!

Yelp
This is definitely a place I recommend to anyone that love baked goods and yummy food! We were first introduced to the first location which was at midtown and was happy to see a bigger location at rancharrah! This place is so aesthetic, with the large windows giving as much natural light as possible and giving Joanna Gaines interior inspo. The lines move smoothly. Wrapping through the front of the store where you're able to look at the retail and grocery items. While in line you're able to look at what baked goods are available. The earlier you come by the more variety of baked goods offered! The kougian-amann and the earl grey cookie are my top faves. Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious as well, although a bit pricey. I also enjoy their soft serve, so simple but hits the spot when you are craving it!

Yelp
Pastry: Incredible. Beyond delicious and all are made to perfection. Go earlier rather than later. The most popular stuff does sell out and you don't wanna miss their Kouign Amann. The gold flake is so extra but I don't mind at all. Expect a line on typically busy days. Weekends, Friday, that kind of thing. Food: Their kale salad is $$ but it's huge and I'm never sad that I ordered it. It's typically given in a to go container and you'll want it because this is a 2 meal kinda salad. They have tons of other food that all looks incredible. Check out their menu. This is not just a pastry joint. Coffee: I can only speak to what I keep ordering. Black decaf brewed coffee. And it's literally the best that I've had anywhere in town. Bring your own coffee container for about 40 cents off. Seriously this brew is to die for. Atmosphere: Extremely lively. This is a popular spot. Pick a seat inside the bustling bistro, outside on the patio, or take your coffee and pastry to go and take a seat out on a adirondack on the lawn in the sun. There's not a bad seat in the house.

Yelp
I love coming here! The ambiance and staff is always on point. The food is indeed worth what you pay for. Plenty options of bakery items and special items on the menu as well if you're feeling a little hungrier. I love their croissant, especially the gruyere/prosciutto. That's my go to on both locations (there's one @Midtown. Their selection of pumpkin muffins are also so delicious. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Walked in and tried their prosciutto and Gruyère croissant to go. My wife got a bite and went inside to order almost 1 of everything to try. Service was friendly and efficient. Beautiful facility. Appearance of facility and staff was excellent. The Staff were very friendly Even with the weekend crowd that found the facility as they followed me in. We will definitely be back.
