The service was seamless and genuinely warm. Our waiter, Brandon, was absolutely on point: attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. The food and flavors were incredible—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and memorable. We didn’t drink alcohol, and I was especially impressed by the mocktails—creative, balanced, and genuinely delicious (not an afterthought). Highly recommend Kres Orlando for a special occasion or anytime you want an exceptional dining experience.

I recently experienced the three-course vegan menu at Kres Chophouse, and it truly exceeded all expectations. This is easily one of the best high-end vegan experiences available in Central Florida, whether you're plant-based or not. From the moment we arrived, the wonderful service and cozy atmosphere made the dining experience welcoming and memorable. We started with the Tofu Chimichurri Skewers, which were incredibly flavorful and a vibrant way to begin the meal. Every dish was beautifully plated, showing the care and artistry of the kitchen staff. The small touches made a huge difference: the vegan butter served with the bread was out of this world, rich and perfectly seasoned, and the side of sweet potato mash was phenomenal—easily some of the best I've ever had. The main course, the Vegan Wellington, was a true triumph. I was blown away by how much it tasted like meat; the flavor profile was incredibly rich and savory. While my puff pastry was slightly burned on the bottom, the incredible flavor of the filling and the execution of the dish still made it taste great. I was also impressed by the large portions, leading me to take half of the entree home—great value for the quality. The meal concluded perfectly with the brownie and accompanying salted caramel ice cream and sauce. The house-made ice cream was phenomenal, and the sauce paired with the brownie was equally delicious. This was a five-star finish to a remarkable meal.

Great food, service and location. Had a reservation in advance. Awesome vegan menu. We really enjoyed the Wellington and the lava cake. Brussels sprouts were delicious. Great service with wonderful attention to detail. Would recommend for a nice dinner downtown Orlando!

For impeccable service, food cooked to perfection and cocktails crafted just right you'll want to visit Kres Chophouse. The atmosphere is dark and edgy, almost a step back in time but yet modern, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their products, exactly the service you want from a fine establishment. The steaks are superb and you will not find better truffle parmesan fries anywhere. For appetizers you cannot go wrong with the shrimp cocktail because it is a classic but if you are a more adventurous person then try the oysters Rockefeller or the filet mignon tartare, you will not be disappointed. Hands down Kres Chophouse is my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I always look forward to my next visit.

Fancy restaurant in downtown Orlando. Elegant and modern design. Well trained waiters. Cozy atmosphere. Wagyu carpaccio was the star. Fish was quite good too. Crème brûlée is always good idea and it was delicious. Enjoyed the meal and atmosphere very much. Service was impeccable. Would definitely come back.

As always, the experience was nothing short of amazing. DC, Kristy, and Mike truly made our night—DC went out of his way to ensure we had a seat, and Kristy was incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about making sure we were well taken care of. We enjoyed the wedge salad, beef Wellington, and lobster bisque, but the real standout of the night was the underrated pork chop—hands down the best dish. From the drinks to the food and everything in between, it was an exceptional evening, and we can’t wait to return.

Where to begin. I’ll share the good first. My group did enjoy both our food and cocktails/mocktails. It’s in a very central area to downtown, so easy to find and get to. They also have a full Vegan menu. Now to the issues. 1) Waiter started off asking if we were in a rush to get anywhere, that should have been a red flag. We said no and were given no additional explanation for the question. Well we sure learned that by saying no, they were going to take extra long to get us our food. 1.5 hours is wild to wait for food. 2) every other table got bread but we had to ask and when we did, said it wasn’t ready, cool, would have been nice to be told that. 3) the way the restaurant seating is formatted it awkward. Booths are staggered against tables on another level. So we can basically see and hear others convos well. It wasn’t fun when an obviously sick man sneezed a total of 17 times in the direction of our table and getting his mucus on our group and food. 4) our waiter was good in the beginning but we finished our food and he spent 20+ minutes talked to a table of 3. He absolutely saw me tryin to get his attention. But he kept talking and talking and talking. When we finally got his attention, he had an attitude. And even sarcastically said we’ll see you next time. Can’t say I’ll ever come back.

Felt like a million bucks walking in! The moment you enter K. Chophouse you get friendly faces and the service was exceptional. I ordered the vegan 3 meal course and everything was so good. The vegan butter for my hot bread was just top tier. Thank you for Great time I had. This place was so beautiful.

Went to Kres Chophouse with friends and absolutely enjoyed everything from start to finish. The food was excellent, well prepared, and full of flavor. Every dish we ordered was very delicious. The service was top-notch very professional, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special without being overbearing. The restaurant itself is beautiful, upscale, and has a very elegant ambiance. It's the perfect spot for a date night, celebration, or a fancy night out with friends. Highly recommend for great food, amazing service, and a refined dining experience. Will definitely be back!

Come to Kres Chophouse for lunch or dinner, and expect a fabulous dining experience! You want to make a reservation before coming, even for lunch. But when you do, you are fretted warmly and the ambience is calm and lovely inside. I tried a swordfish dish, and swordfish is just a dense white fish which can be hard to work with. But it was just divine, all the flavors worked together perfectly and I finished the whole plate. Our servers were super nice and attentive, and it is spendier to eat here but it is well worth it with the whole experience.

This is tough. Service is always fantastic and the steaks are generally pretty good. The rotating other options can be great or just not good it really depends since they often change the menu options. They are pretty much the ONLY game in downtown for an upscale dining date or business dinner. You will find them priced appropriately since there are not many other options. I mean downtown is struggling and the historic building that is maintained very well is appreciated. Please not how many people here comment on how fantastic the service is so maybe it's worth a premium price to get excellent service. That's for you to decide but you can bank on getting a good piece of steak nonetheless.

We went to Kres Chophouse before seeing The Nutcracker at the Dr. Phillips Center, and it ended up being a great choice. We hadn't been in a few years and really wanted to go back, but there weren't any reservations available online. So we showed up right when the doors opened at 5pm, hoping to grab a spot. The hostess was quick to help us out--she rushed us through the crowd and managed to snag one of the last two tables at the bar for us. We started with the Calamari "Vesuvio", which was delicious. I ordered the Roasted Half Duck, and my husband had the Filet & Shrimp from the Classics & Creative section. Both dishes were excellent, and we paired them with a bottle of Belle Glos Pinot Noir Las Alturas, which worked perfectly with the meal. The service was lovely--both our waiter and waitress were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was spot-on for a date night: lively but not overwhelming. The music was loud enough to give some privacy from nearby tables, but we could still hear each other easily. Parking is a bit tricky since it's mostly street parking or garages, but being within walking distance of the theater made it super convenient. Overall, it was a great night--fantastic food, great service, and a nice vibe. We'll definitely be back.

12/30/2025. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all top notch. While the vegan experience is less costly, I recommend Kres to non-vegans based on the reviews of those I dined with. I appreciated the vegan options; a three course meal is around $50. I ate the "salisbury steak" meal and enjoyed nondairy ice-cream for dessert. I forgot the name of the toast appetizer I ordered...it was good.

10 years later and 5 RESOUNDING stars for spectacular steaks and service, and an additional vegan menu that SHINES! My sister and I eat meat and our husbands are vegetarians. This makes Kres one of the few upscale steakhouses where we are all accommodated since they have a robust vegan menu. It's full of seitan and tofu dishes that mimic traditional steakhouse dishes and it is clear that there was a lot of care, creativity, and intention in crafting this vegetarian / vegan menu to go along with their regular meat-forward menu. Parking: There's convenient parking garages all around Kress, but my preference is the valet just outside on Church Street ($20, but it's a fancy night out, so I'm down). Our server, Angelica, was a GEM. She truly helped make this a standout evening. with suggestions and great banter. I'd ask for her again next time! Food Faves: - Filet Wellington: This was my dish and I was blown away. It was the most perfect Wellington I've ever had. The flavors were deep and the pastry was flakey. It was worth the $50+ price tag. - I tried my sister's Filet (thinking there was no way it could compete with the Wellington) and the rich flavor took me by surprise. No sauce needed- this was a well-seasoned hunk of premium meat. And the medium rare cook was perfect. - White Chocolate Bread Pudding: This is a truly fabulous dessert. Hot meets cold with the bread pudding and whisky sauce hitting the vanilla ice cream. We shared this and the seasonal cheesecake, but our table was evenly divided on a favorite. Everything else we ordered was great and there were truly no misses. My vegetarian husband was thrilled to have something other than a salad or mushroom dish, and the vegan menu pricing was seriously reasonable. This is back on our rotation as a favorite date night spot for this vegetarian/meat-eater household!

We love this steakhouse and typically come in for happy hour or perfect just before a show or concert at the kia center nextdoor. Service was on point as usual. Our wait staff was very attentive and upbeat. They brought items out fresh and without delay. Thanks for recommending the octopus and shrimp appetizer. We had never noticed it and boy were We excited to have it. Absolutely amazing. So soft and tender - just like the ribeye and full of flavor. What stood out this visit was the vegan strawberry ice cream churro waffle. Mind blown. Usually with vegan, you tend to give up flavor BUT not here!!

The food was excellent. The service was top notch. The ambiance was very comfortable. Coming from Virginia to visit, this place hit on all levels.

Kres Steakhouse is consistently amazing. Every visit is incredible, but the real hidden gem on the menu is the pork. It's perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and somehow the silent winner every single time. Yes, it's a steakhouse -- but don't sleep on the pork. We order it every visit and it never disappoints. John our server did a fantastic job. Can't wait for the next visit!

Well you should go somewhere special for your birthday and that's what I did!! Upon arrival we were greeted at the hostess stand with a warm and pleasant "hello welcome to Kres Chophouse"!! After being escorted to our table. Justin was our server and he was amazing!!!! Soft lighting throughout with ref and black decor. I ordered a lavender sky cocktail, lobster bisque, ribeye (20 oz), table share was shrimp and bacon mac and cheese, crispy brussel sprouts, cheesecake. Everything was delicious (the steak was even better the second day). If you're looking for a place to have a special dinner this is the place.

Pretty good spot right in the middle of the city. The service was good. The food was good and the atmosphere is nice. It's good for business lunches. Not the most fantastic meal I've ever had, but not bad.

Believe the hype and the all the reviews you see about this place. The food and drinks were excellent. Service was great, our server was very attentive. I had the Chicken Picatta and even though I don't do capers and mushrooms it was easy to pick around. My date had one of the steak options and thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing I was a little disappointed about was there people in there with baseball caps and hoodies on even though they stress a dress coded- it's not strictly enforced and it did take away from the ambiance and it felt like the "fine dining" element was diminished by that. I would be back though and def recommend.

Another great dinner at Kres. We go for the vegan menu which is so unique and always delicious. Our waiter was very accommodating and the vegan chef came out to check on us as well. Love this place.

Kres Chophouse may be known for its steaks, but we turned it into a seafood haven and, honestly, what a win. The shrimp and octopus appetizer was delicious, tender, flavorful, the shrimps were HUGE with a tangy vinegar kick. The restaurant itself is all about bold, moody vibes and everything is red, from the walls to the lighting, giving it a sultry, almost theatrical feel. If you're a seafood lover navigating a steakhouse crowd, Kres is absolutely worth a visit. Just start with that shrimp and octopus...trust me.

Everything was great. Ambiance: cool upscale steakhouse vibe. Dim lighting, deep red hues, leather booths. Food: our party of four had filet Wellington x2, petite filet, pork chop. All got rave reviews. Apps and sides: escargot, oysters Rockefeller, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, mushrooms. All very good. The bread was delicious. Service: Justin was top-notch. He was an excellent server, and very personable. The owner/manager came around to check on us and we had a nice conversation with him. Everyone we came across went above and beyond. Would I come back: in a second!

My husband and I wanted to meet up with one of my best friends from college and her husband in Orlando and we chose Kres for dinner specifically because they had a vegan menu that didn't look like it was just an after thought for the non-meat eaters and I'm glad we did! We made reservations about a month in advance for February 13th. We arrived at our reserved time and were seated after about a five minute wait. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations! After a lot of internal debate on the cocktails because they all sounded so good, I ended up getting a pistachio martini and it did NOT disappoint in the least! It was a bit sweeter than I wanted with my dinner, but it was overall so good that ultimately I didn't mind at all. I was between the vegan Wellington and the vegan steak, so based on the recommendation of our waiter, I opted for the Wellington with the Idaho mash instead of the sweet potato mash. We also got a side of the truffle fries for the table. Our waiter noted that I had ordered a vegan meal and asked if we wanted the fries vegan as well as they put parmesan on their fries. It was so sweet of him to notice and offer to do that. After ordering, we got bread served to the table with butter, vegan butter, and, my personal favorite, the olive oil dip! The Wellington was very good - the pastry was nice and flaky and the stuffing was flavorful and filling! The truffle fries were nicely seasoned and the truffle was not overpowering at all, but still present. The outside was also crisp to perfection! I would happily come back here to make my way through more of their cocktail and vegan menu!

I made a reservation for the wrong day at Kres. When I went in, the host said that she had no available tables but someone else came over and found one last bar top available to give my group. The bar top was near the front entrance and offered great views of the restaurant, the tvs and was good people watching. I am so gratefulful that we got this table! The ambience is always on point and the staff is very courteous, professional and engaging! Now for the best part -- the food! Every single dish was cooked to perfection. Even the cocktails were exceptional! I highly recommend the steaks, scalloped potatoes and desserts!

Going to a chophouse for vegan food might seem counterintuitive: not just in the world of dining out but also in today's macro- and protein-obsessed food culture. But when I heard about Kres' $49 three-course vegan menu (an absolute steal, by the way), I knew I had to try it. And let me tell you, Kres did not disappoint. The quality, portion sizes, and speed of service were all on point. Our server even mentioned that the chef behind their vegan menu has received so much praise that she'll soon be opening her own vegan restaurant. After this meal, I can totally see why. Appetizers: - Oyster Rockefeller: When a menu lists nine ingredients for a vegan oyster, you have to try it. The plating, oysters nestled in a bed of salt, combined with the dim lighting totally tricked me into thinking they had somehow snuck real oysters onto my plate. But then my brain kicked in: Wait, this is supposed to be vegan. No animal products. A closer look revealed tiny mushrooms, and the seaweed caviar? It looked and tasted just like the real thing. Honestly, I'm still a little skeptical. Should've saved some for lab testing. - Chimichurri Tofu Skewers: These chicken-like bites were everything a skewer should be -- flavorful, filling, and perfectly charred. The Worcestershire-spiked remoulade added a depth that I enjoyed. Entrées: - Beef Wellington: A flaky, buttery pastry wrapped around "beef" that seemed to be a blend of walnut mushroom duxelles and black bean seitan (both listed as ingredients). The mushroom flavor was prominent, and the texture was spot on. The port shallot sauce paired beautifully with the "beef," and the thick-cut asparagus, cooked to absolute perfection, made me smile. And I always smile for asparagus, but this one? This one made me smiiiiiiile. - Crispy Chicken Pesto: The least memorable dish of the night. The pasta had great flavor, but the Milanese-style "chicken" was a little underwhelming. Desserts: Both the Strawberry Shortbread Cookie and Chocolate Mousse Cake were rich, well-balanced, and hit that sweet-but-not-too-sweet spot I love in vegan desserts. That's why I prefer them over traditional desserts: they're lighter but still indulgent. These were no exception.

Updating my review as of 06/2025*** We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. The service was fast and friendly, the drinks were good but the star of the show was definitely the food. I had the filet medallion over pasta and it was phenomenal while my fiancé had the steak sandwich, which I can also confirm as fantastic.

Stopped by to grab a few drinks before dinner & WOW! The Pear Martini was chefs kiss. I had 3. This spot offered a happy hour menu which was half priced apps. We got the Octopus & shrimp app & it was just as good as my martini. Great spot, they offer WiFi if you wanna work for a bit as well. The servers/bartenders were great! Very helpful with the menu. Inside is super dark with cool red hints. Would be a good spot for a date or for a large party!

We were there for lunch. The bartender Mike was great. Drinks were very good. We started with Wagyu carpaccio, it's the best I've ever had. He/Mike recommended the special. It was pan seared mahi-mahi it was amazing!!

Kres Chophouse is a great steakhouse located in downtown Orlando. I went for a business dinner, but it would be a good spot for date night as it is has a romantic vibe. The Wagyu beef carpaccio was my favorite. Definitely a great appetizer to share. I also got the 8 ounce filet that was cooked to perfection. Crème brûlée was the perfect end to an amazing dinner. Service was great.

Our server Mike was phenomenal. He was very well educated in the menu items and ingredients. He sold us on the whole menu but we decided on a New York strip and filet mignon. We celebrated a birthday, and he went the extra mile to make the night special.

I came here one evening with some friends before a performance of Les Mis at the Dr. Phillips Center. Great location with in the heart of Downtown Orlando. I love seeing good restaurants in the hustle and bustle of the actual city. On the outside, it looks like a normal downtown building, but on the inside, it was lovely and grandiose and elegant. Really comfy booths everywhere. It felt really grand and really private and personal at the same time. Very cool ambiance. Service was classic upscale steakhouse. A few different servers with different jobs for each of them. Glasses always full, complimentary bread service, appropriate pacing of food delivery. No complaints. As for the food, dang. Just dang. I had the 16 oz New York Strip, medium rare, and it was very very good. When it comes to upscale places like this, it was within one standard deviation of the mean, but it was 100% better than anything from a Longhorn or a Roadhouse or anywhere like that. You get what you pay for, certainly. Sides were all great, too. Even better than the steak, comparatively. Crispy brussels, banging. Three cheese au gratin, banging. Parmesan mashed potatoes, banging. Honestly, you could have a five star meal just ordering all nine sides, because they're spectacular. I also got to try the Porterhouse Lamb Loins. Those were very good, too. A little small for me, but what it lacked in quantity, it more than made up for in quality. These petite little puppies were so succulent and lamby, with a beautiful char on the outside. Make sure you gnaw on those bones. So overall, this place was solid. I don't frequent steakhouses, because, you know, red meat is objectively bad for the body. But as a rare treat, this steakhouse was one of the absolute best I've ever been to in town. Come here. You won't regret it.

I've been here several times and have a great experience consistently. The drinks are delicious, service is always on point, and food is so satisfying. I've always gotten the filet Wellington because I don't come across it very often and jump at the chance to enjoy one. My party usually gets different selections from me so I get to try and not to my surprise, the bites are delicious. Great for date nights and celebrations. Absolutely worth it and one of my favorites in Orlando.

Kres is amazing! The ribeye was cooked perfectly. The Rockefeller oysters were exquisite. I also enjoy their octopus and their drink selection was great. The ambience is very sexy very dark black and red. The wine selection is extensive and our waitress was amazing. Whenever I'm in Orlando, I will visit again.

Pros: Wonderful location right in the middle of downtown. The inside is very beautiful. It feels so big, but the booths also feel so private. Very luxurious. Service was top notch. Multiple servers, all very polite. And the food. Wow. Perfect cook on the meats, excellent sides. Very worth the price. Cons: No cons. The perfect steakhouse. Tips: I got the lamb porterhouse loins, and they were sooo good. Very tender and the best taste of lamb. A good char on them, too. Also, the potatoes gratin were perfect. Perfectly thinly sliced, making them the perfect side for some steaks.

Great for special occasions, date nights or large group outings. The only rant is parking. Valet is only available beginning 530p. On-street parking is very limited. There is garage parking across the street from Kres that fills up on the lower levels quickly.

KRES never misses ‼ Every single experience has been excellent from the service to the food and this latest one was no different. The NY Strip Au Poivre is the best value on the menu! It's a Surf & Turf 12oz NY Strip w/ Peppercorn, Grilled Shrimp, Broccolini and Mushroom Risotto all for $50! My preferred temperature was Medium and it's always cooked to perfection. If you look closely you can see just how accurately they find that perfect 135° internal temperature. This will always be my first choice for Steak in Orlando and I know you will enjoy it

Not many places have tasty plant based or vegetarian options, so shoutout to Kres! Came here with family to celebrate a birthday and we enjoyed ourselves. We all got the various vegan options were pleasantly surprised. Wasn't a big fan of our waiter, he had an interesting attitude all night, so hopefully I don't get him again lol. Parking isn't the easiest, but it's downtown... so that's obvious lol.

Our server, Brandon, was amazing. He was very helpful with my dietary restrictions (dairy allergy). The New Zealand Elk was an absolute treat. Highly recommend. Parking was a pain, but the food more than made up for it.

We had an incredibly delicious lunch today at Kres, service was wonderful and our food was so well seasoned and tasty. We had the lobster bisque, Caesar salad, grilled mahi with polenta and vegetables, chicken Caesar and steak freites. Always a great experience at Kres. Till the next time.

Traveling for business in Orlando and happened upon Kres Chophouse in Downtown Orlando. It was a 5 minute walk from my hotel which made this an easy choice after a long day of traveling. The menu had numerous steak and fresh seafood options to choose from as well as several gluten free accommodations. I ended up selecting the shrimp cocktail as a starter-an absolute staple in my opinion. The shrimp came atop a selection of cocktail sauce, house made remoulade, and fresh horseradish which made my heart sing and my sinuses sting with just the right amount of oomf! The filet was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, the chef absolutely nailed it. The sides are family style and I chose to enjoy a baked potato on my own, fully loaded of course-as if there is another way to enjoy a baked potato. I left no room for dessert but the crème brûlée did try to tempt me from across the room. I also have to say that I experienced some of the best service at a restaurant I have in a long time. The waitstaff was thoughtful, attentive and incredibly friendly. The ambience is also quite welcoming while being upscale. I'm someone who appreciates dim lighting in the steakhouse and Kres nailed it. I have to say I enjoyed the meal and experience so much that I was a repeat visitor the next night as well. This will become a staple for when I'm in Orlando on business.

We had dinner here after a show at the Kia Center. Had the lobster bisque and vegan crab cakes for appetizers. Both were excellent. I ordered the Filet Wellington and my wife had the Vegan Wellington. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Finished with the Crème Brûlée. Will definitely return to try their steaks. Service was attentive and professional.

Santiago, our waiter was so great so helpful very professional and respectful. The new yorkwas very good seasoned to perfection. Nice medium with flavor of peppercorn sauce was very good on top of the steak and the broccoli was very flavorful. You can't go wrong with that. The strawberry margarita wasn't the best margarita I ever had, but it was strong and it was good. The Lolita was a delightful drink. I would recommend if you like sweet cocktails my filet mignon was delicious. No complaints no notes. The ambience was nice and romantic. There was a rose on the table. They do fill up fast to make a reservation early.

This is my favorite restaurant. I used to eat here all the time when I lived downtown and now make a special trip anytime I'm back in the area. The Filet Wellington is always perfect. The beef carpaccio is amazing and half off during happy hour ($11). The red interior is classy and romantic. Great spot for important business or date night. It can get moderately loud but still comfortable conversation level. The servers can be hit or miss depending on who you get, but the manager John will always make sure everything is right.

This place was fabulous ! From the hostess to the server , bartenders , managers , food the ambience, cocktails ! Everything ! They got me and my bff a table on Valentine's Day w a walk in wow ! The oyster Rockefeller and the oyster Rockefeller vegan were phenomenal. The cocktails were phenomenal. The pistachio martini was phenomenal. The chocolate espresso martinis were phenomenal. The beef Wellington was one of the best beef Wellington I've ever had in my life steak and lobster was good. Everything was cooked to perfection And definitely going back.! They made us feel like family like they knew us forever an old school steak house Vegas vibe . Loved it !

I went here for my anniversary and I'm so glad I did! It's difficult to find nice restaurants that cater to multiple dietary restrictions and Kres checks all the boxes. I got the vegan menu "combo" with the Rockefeller that was sooo delicious, chicken Bianca, and a brookie. My boyfriend got the Ribeye and we both agreed it was some of the best food we've tried. Our server was Matthew who was attentive and provided genuine recommendations (try the PB espresso martini!). We plan on coming back for the next "fancy" dinner date.

This is one of the best steakhouses I've been to in a long time. Everything about this restaurant exudes class and elegance without being pretentious. First off, the ambiance allows for a quiet and intimate meal without feeling too stuffy. The restaurant has tables spread out so that diners can actually have a conversation without having to talk over diners nearby. The service was wonderful. Attentive without being overbearing. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was simply divine. From the first bite of the bread they offered, we knew we were in for a treat. The sourdough was served with this delectable garlic dipping sauce. It made for the perfect bite to start our meal. We ordered oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. I cannot rave enough about them. Probably the best I've ever had. I only wish there were more in the dish. For my entree, I ordered the filet Wellington. It was delicious. Perfectly flaky puff pastry surrounding a perfectly cooked tender piece of filet. It melted in my mouth. Everything about the dish was amazing. My dining companions all loved their meals and didn't have one bad thing to say. I will definitely be coming back here!

Amazing experience for a special occasion. We started with escargot and oysters perfect and tasty My husband's fillet was cooked the way he liked it. I had a wonderful tasty grouper dish. So they can do fish just as well as steaks. Our server was friendly and professional and made wonderful suggestions It's a very cool modern decor, but still casual vibe

This restaurant is in downtown so the parking was kind of hard to find. Overall good restaurant though. For starters we had the maine lobster bisque. The lobster bisque itself was good but the portion was super tiny compared to other restaurants I've tried. It looked like there was a bit more room to put more bisque in there. Also had complimentary bread with their infused olive oil which was so addicting. I had the Filet Wellington which was cooked perfectly and I liked the mashed potato's and fried food for the sides too, very delicious. We were also going to order something else but our waiter was very nice and helpful telling us to wait on it until after , and he was right! All the food we had was very filling and we wouldn't have finished if we ordered more. Inside was romantic that's good vibes for a date night.

Everything was delicious and service was amazing! It was an amazing place for date night (very romantic) before heading over to the Dr Phillips Center.

I want to start with the service... She was unreal and I forgot her name and I am very sorry because I know they get things when their names are mentioned. African-American lady. The food was really good from the lamb appetizers to the salmon and the seafood pasta bowl. The old fashion was made to perfection.

Really nice restaurant with a beautiful decor, friendly staff and very chill atmosphere. I ordered the NY steak au poivre and it was insane. The quality of the beef was phenomenal, it was like butter. I shall return...

Kres is THE place to be if you want a delicious meal with top tier service. Our waitress was incredible an absolute gem! Aside from the fantastic service we had a delicious meal! I had the 16oz ribeye (medium rare of course) , while my boyfriend had the filet Wellington. Both meals were exquisite and cooked to perfection. For the table we also shared shrimp and bacon Mac and cheese, it was creamy and cheesy and all things great. For cocktails he had an old fashion and I had an apple martini, both were made with love! Our second experience here and we WILL be back

Wonderful time! Go to the bar - ask for Dave, or any bartender really - they were all so great! We headed in here before a show at Dr. Philips Center and sat up at the bar before our reservation time. We ended up loving the atmosphere and service at the bar and decided to stay up there for our food as well. I ordered the steak and shrimp which was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on everything was on point. The sides on my plate are not the usual ones that is served with those proteins, but was instead on another main dish, however, our bartender was gracious enough to let me swap them as I was very interested in those as an alternate. The restaurant itself is a good size with plenty of options for seating. I strongly recommend arriving early for bar seating, or make a reservation for table seating as it gets busy quickly after 5 p.m. Overall: A+ Excellent experience and we will be back!
