Inquiring Mind

Excellent food. This is a pretty cool dive bar with some of the biggest burgers you'll find in NJ. All hand crafted marvels of meat (pause). Everything is made to order and you can taste the passion in each bite. Good service, very attentive staff, and they make you feel like a regular. Definitely glad I tried this spot out today and can't wait to return.

Went the other day for lunch with a group of firefighters I work with. We are burger snobs. This is the place to go. Staff is incredible and the burgers are 2nd to none. If you like burgers, put this on your list of must go’s.

The worst place I have ever visited. We didn’t touch the food, but the manager said he couldn’t cancel the order. Calling it a “dish” or “food” would be a stretch. Zero customer service. The only good thing about this place is the beer. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Waiting over 40 minutes for a salad, yet overcooked shrimp and squid will arrive sooner. Avoid this place. Dirty dishes, no management.

Stopped in with my family for a Devils pregame burger and as usual, this place doesn't disappoint. Large burger for a good price, served quickly with a smile. Hit the spot and assuaged the ensuing mental anguish dealing with eating at a pro-sports venue. Well done, Krug's, on all counts!

My husband and I LOVE Krugs Tavern. It has become our go to sports bar and favorite location for after work libations. Come as you are. This is a welcoming no-frills bar. We love it. We have probably ordered everything from their menu and can’t complain about a single item. We recommend the employee sauce (secret sauce) on either their wings or shrimp. The underrated item on their menu is their pickle. It is seriously crunchy and delicious. Their burgers are delicious but very filling. My warning to large tables is that the kitchen cooks to order, so expect items to come out at different times. Free Parking is in the rear (not side) of the building (turn on Napoleon Street).

Service was poor. Waited 45 minutes for a pizza burger and calamari and when the food came it wasn’t edible. Our waitress was clueless about our order and was unable to provide accurate information. Had to ask for new plates because it was so dirty. Not clean or friendly at all.

Enjoyed the state famous burger with a Caesar salad and some chicken finger apps. I enjoyed the juicy, large burger. Sampled some satisfyingly crispy and generously portioned onion rings, too. Definitely will come back.
