I’ve been part of the Green Things Farm CSA for years and have had the joy of watching this farm grow from a small, hopeful local operation into one of the most respected and loved organic farms around. Their journey has been incredible to witness. What started as a few fields and a dream has turned into a thriving, community-centered farm that truly lives its values every single day. The quality of their produce speaks for itself. Every vegetable, every bunch of greens, every tomato is packed with flavor and clearly grown with care. You can feel the health of the soil and the pride of the people behind it in every bite. Each season’s share is full of variety, freshness, and that deep sense of connection that comes from knowing your food is grown close to home by people who care. The team at Green Things Farm is as genuine and down-to-earth as it gets. They work hard, treat their animals and land with respect, and always take the time to communicate with their members. It’s more than just a farm; it’s a relationship built on trust and shared purpose. Their home-raised beef shares are another example of that care. The animals are raised humanely, fed and handled responsibly, and the quality of the meat is outstanding. It feels good to support a farm that does things the right way, for the right reasons. Green Things Farm doesn’t just serve the community, they’re part of it. They’ve built something that reflects what real local agriculture can be — honest, sustainable, nourishing, and full of heart.

Had the pleasure of cooking for a Farm to Table dinner on the farm. Beautiful farm and beautiful produce. Really enjoyed work with their home grown ingredients. Great people. Great organic produce grown there. They have a nice farm stand. They have starter plants too and prepared food like cheese and dry food like grains and lentils and beans.

Glad to have a local farm offering smaller sized beef shares for those of us without massive freezers. Vegan isn't an option due to dietary restrictions, so I'm grateful to know the cow was local and raised & treated ethically. Updated 7-06-23: Just made our first pickup from the Summer CSA (on farm, buffet style). All of the produce available was beautiful, fresh, and appeared to be good quality. Recipes are being planned, and our mouths are watering! My spouse and I also decided to take a peek in the Farm Stand, which had more of the great produce as well as products from locally-owned businesses. We picked up a loaf of bread and kombucha. Can't wait to try more through the season.
