Indian Fine Dining Restaurants Aim for Awards in the Southwest | Eater

"Hiding in a Scottsdale strip mall between a consignment store and a skincare studio, this April 2025 newcomer reveals a ritzy, desert‑evoking interior in tasteful earth tones with jewelry‑box lighting, a prominent cocktail counter, and a tiny kitchen window that offers glimpses of the cooks. Managing partner Jonathan Rodrigues and executive chef Nigel Lobo — childhood friends from Dubai — aim high, with Lobo’s top‑Michelin‑kitchen pedigree complemented by tandoor specialist Ajay Negi and a suite of in‑house programs (from dessert to tandoor to breads) that make the place feel like an entire culinary school. The “greatest hits” menu shines in a tandoor sampler that marches across the plate like the Beatles on Abbey Road: a head‑on tiger prawn, chicken touched with Afghan murgh spices, a mint‑covered lamb chop, and yuzu‑tinged salmon, dotted with beet chutney and meticulous curls of garnish. I find it polished enough to impress in a town dominated by flashy steakhouses like Mastro’s, Maple & Ash, and Ocean 44, and the team is betting it will become a destination for diners from Scottsdale and across Phoenix." - Matthew Kang

If you're looking for an incredible dining experience, look no further than Indibar. My recent visit was absolutely delightful from start to finish. The food taste is simply awesome! Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic, vibrant flavors, a true culinary treat. It wasn't just delicious, the beautiful presentation of each plate showed true artistry and care. It's clear that chef AJ put immense effort into every detail. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. They made us feel welcome the moment we walked in. Finally, we were so impressed by the hospitality of the owner and the chefs, who were extremely friendly and took the time to chat. Their passion for the food and their guests shines through and makes Indibar feel like a warm, welcoming, family-run spot. We can't wait to go back! If you want fantastic food, a beautiful atmosphere, and service with a genuine smile, Indibar is the perfect choice.

We had a great date night at this upscale India inspired restaurant near Old Town Scottsdale. Service by Gabriel was top-notch and the food was fresh and delicious! We enjoyed the hamachi crudo, chicken "pizza" appetizer, butter chicken and lamb shank, garlic naan and butter roti. Will try the chicken biryani next time. Cool, laid back vibes and mellow ambiance completed our experience nicely. Great job, Indibar! 👍🏼🍻😋🍛

Thali’s portion size is for kids. It’s for 10 year old not for adults. My thali food was good. My husband’s thali his chicken curry, chicken was dry not soft . Roti was dry and crispy. Chicken Biriyani had no flavor and chicken was so dry, hard and was smelly. I took one bite of chicken from the biriyani and it was so smelly I felt like throwing up and chicken was so dry I couldn’t swallow. How do you charge $30 for Biriyani and serve spoiled food? You should be shamed of your self serving someone spoiled Biriyani after charging $30. I mean $30 is not cheap. Just can’t believe how greedy people can be. Chai was just water. Not worth your time and money.

Finally, I found an upscale authentic Indian food in Phoenix. The cocktail menu did not disappoint us. Drinks were amazing, with beautiful presentation, and were strong. The food was also topnotch. Service was on point. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very modern and chic. Will highly recommend this place if you are planning to go to modern style restaurants.

Google
The food was fantastic. Simple original beautiful dishes with time and effort put in to them. Our server Paris was sweet in server duties and helping us with a birthday celebration (we brought our own cake). Indibar also gave us a complimentary dessert item. Spoke with owner briefly and he mentioned he traveled all around the world and lived in Dubai for over 2 decades which influenced the menu and venue itself.

Google
Had an incredible experience at INDIBAR. From start to finish, the presentation and flavors were next-level. The dishes were not only beautifully plated but thoughtfully composed — bold Indian flavors with a modern twist. Highlights: Cocktails were theatrical and tasted as good as they looked. The smoky glass with the glitter rim? A showstopper. Appetizers and mains hit every mark — balanced spices, fresh herbs, and attention to detail. The dessert presentation was on point — creative, delicious, and a great way to end the night. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe of the place was stylish and warm. Whether you’re celebrating something or just want a legit great meal, INDIBAR delivers. Highly recommend.

Google
An incredible experience from start to finish. The off-menu tomato soup seemed to be an all around favorite and our group agreed that it should be officially added to the menu! (Seriously, it was awesome!) The tandoori chicken and the mango curry with shrimp were also fantastic. The cocktail menu was innovative and fun (the Ulta Boiler Maker was mine, and even after tasting most of the other drinks people ordered I maintain that it’s one of the best drinks I’ve had), and the desserts were a perfect way to wrap up our meal. Huge shoutout to Paris- best server ever!- and the rest of the staff at Indibar; you gave us a fantastic experience. I can’t wait to come back!

Went with friends for an anniversary dinner at Indibar. They took great care of our dietary restrictions for vegans and vegetarians, which we really appreciated. The drinks were very good, the service was excellent, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
The ambience was elegant, service was excellent. The flavors were delightful and I found the tandoori prawns, tandoori chicken, coastal curry, and dessert very delicious. I highly recommend this gem. Dr. Ashok Roy

Yelp
Beautiful interior, stunning! Came for the double birthday celebration and were treated with a couple of desserts, piña colada and chai, and biskoot. Both were excellent. I am a sugar addict; therefore, this review naturally started with dessert. Okay, main dishes and sides review: Butter Chicken 9/10 Curry Leaf Shrimp 10/10 Coastal Prawn Curry 10/10 Dal Tadka (my personal favorite) 10/10 Baingan Bharta 10/10 Lachha Parantha 8/10 Naan 9/10 Service was attentive and prompt. Highly recommend this upscale modern take on Indian Cuisine, worth the Hype and tab.

Yelp
Been eyeing this place since it first opened. The ambiance is nice with friendly staff. It's always fun to see how different restaurants approach the modern Indian fusion concept. Came here for restaurant week with my family and enjoyed all of the courses on the menu. We all got some dal shorba to start. Super tasty but burnt my tongue which sucked. Opened with the Shakahari platter. The beets on this dish are super underrated. For the main, I ordered Kadai chicken and it was great with a generous portion too, so I had leftovers. One thing I loved is that they brought out a bunch of naan and rice for the table to split with their mains. Chai ice cream for dessert was great with the Parle G cookie - took me back, but everything else on that plate was mid. Servers also seemed flustered when they realized we already got our packing boxes before dessert so they didn't know where to put our dessert. So we sat there for a couple minutes waiting for them to put the plates in front of us and the ice cream was a little melted by then.

Yelp
Already daydreaming of our return! That's how good this place was. Really above and beyond on all fronts. Been dying to try this for months and finally got a chance to visit for lunch. Every dish was a flavor packed knockout. Our favorites were the Papdi Chat and bread pudding desert (out of this world). Everything was fantastic. I hope Indibar is here to stay for a longtime , this is just the addition that Scottsdale needed. Can't wait to comeback.

Yelp
One of my most favourite Indian food places in Scottsdale! The food is amazing! The Thali's are a must try! Service and Ambiance is top notch! I have been on search of good Indian food in Valley for a quite a long time and Indibar is my go to on EVERY FRIDAY! Their Chicken Biryani is amazing!

Yelp
Made a reservation for a group of 6 and were seated right away. A few of our party wanted to do the chef's week tasting menu, but it had to be the whole table so we opted to just order from the standard menu. I wish they would've allowed some of us to do the tasting menu so we could've tried more dishes. The drinks were delicious! The appetizers were decent portions and had great flavor! The veg and non-veg platters were both good! The masala fries and papad chaat were okay, wouldn't order again. The tadka daal and papad paneer entree were SO good! So much flavor and spice! The side of rice is very small so plan to order extra if you don't have another rice dish. Each naan order comes with 2 pieces and was well made. It is pricey, but the quality of the food and presentation were worth it! Giving 4 stars for inability to have some guests do a tasting menu while others don't and for a few mediocre appetizers.

Yelp
We came for weekend lunch. They told us this menu is different from dinner menu as well as weekday lunch. We got the table in the private room because they had an event in the main dinning room. This room is really nice and spacious with fantastic decor. The two curry we ordered are delicious. I had to order a side of rice to enjoy with the curry. I never had fish curry before and they made this curry good. Fish is fresh and curry is super creamy. The kofta curry has a wonderful vegetable balls in a tasty tangy curry. I love the creativity of their dishes. Dessert is a must! The fried bread is so good with the creamy sauce, fruit purée, and pistachio. The two kinds of rice pudding are tasty and colorful.

Yelp
I came here for restaurant week and was impressed. The decor is beautiful and the food is wonderful. The tikka chicken thigh with yogurt had great flavor and the saag kheema minced lamb with naan are worth a return visit. They have a full bar and some pretty good local beers on tap.

Yelp
Superb food. The best Indian food we have had in USA. Warm and very friendly staff. We had Lamb chops , Sea food , Jawar roti and Piña Colada desert . Very delicious

Yelp
We went for lunch and the fish was subtle, delicate and delicious. The desert was sublime with a mix of textures that was fantastic. Beautifully decorate with nice service. Lunch is a great value - $25 for the platter.

Yelp
We came on the recommendation from a co-worker for our anniversary dinner. She spoke so highly of the restaurant, we were very excited... and not a bit disappointed! MAKE RESERVATIONS! We were seated at our table and our waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu, it made it easy to navigate. We ordered an appetizer, I'm sorry I forgot the name. Chef Ajay sent a complimentary one with dosa. Both were beautifully plated and delicious. Our main dishes were the lamb Rogan josh and the catch of the day, which was branzino. The branzino was out of this world and the lamb was fork tender! We decided to order two desserts. Their signature chai and biskoot and the phirni. Both were so heavenly! We had the opportunity to meet Jonathan, one of the owners. He was so welcoming and kind. We will definitely return. This is an upscale restaurant, but not stuffy, by any means. Please check them out!

Yelp
Walking into IndiBar feels like stepping into another world - elegant, classy, and completely transformational. The calm, thoughtful lighting and just the right kind of music create a space that invites you to unwind and be fully present. It's not just a restaurant - it's an experience. The food? A revelation. While they honour the classics with finesse, their elevated take on Indian cuisine is bold, inventive, and exactly what Scottsdale didn't know it needed. Each dish is layered with flavor, nostalgia, and a sense of modern storytelling. The craft cocktails are nothing short of spectacular -- thoughtful, balanced, and as artful as the food. The people behind IndiBar bring warmth and intention to every detail, making it a place you'll want to return to again and again. You have my Vote and my Heart IndiBar !

Yelp
Gorgeous ambiance, incredible food and exceptional service. I sat at the bar, Quinn and Jonah were both personable and knowledgeable. There was another bartender too she was also quite nice but didn't catch her name! They recommended a few dishes to me I never would have chosen independently and they all were amazing. I also loved Quinn's wine recommendation, a gorgeous French Chardonnay. Felt like a fine dining experience with a more relaxed (but still professional!) vibe from the staff which did not take away from the special quality, but rather made it more comfortable to enjoy. Thank you for a nice evening !

Yelp
As an Indian, I can be picky about my Indian food but this place was AWESOME! Our waiter Gabriel was very kind and attentive especially for having so many tables! The food was excellent- the perfect low spice but delicious flavor. For appetizer I went with my favorite- papdi chaat! So yummy and GREAT presentation (all the dishes were beautiful). The butter chicken is a MUST and my all time favorite dish! I loved the dessert of chai ice cream and parl G cookie- dough nostalgic. The vibes are great- my ONLY complaint is it's VERYYY loud and was hard to hear the people at our table. Not sure if that can be fixed with the wall panels but regardless we had a wonderful evening and I'll be telling all my friends about this place :)

Yelp
Finger-licking good! I'm usually very cautious about trying Indian restaurants in the Valley, but this one is truly different. The décor is top-notch -- you can tell they've used fine craftsmanship and quality materials to create an ambience that beautifully blends Indian and Western influences. The place is spotless and welcoming. What we ordered: Veg Platter Dum Ka Murgh Veg Biryani Daal Makhani Dosa Every single dish was delicious. The wait staff went above and beyond, even providing extra details and suggestions for the items we ordered -- a thoughtful touch that really stood out. Nigel and Ajay have created something special here: a space that breaks away from the typical Indian restaurant experience, offering high-quality food that not only delights your taste buds but also warms your soul. We'll definitely be back! P.S: It is definitely on the higher price point, especially the veg platter and what you get out of it. I do not think the veg platter is worth $38.

Yelp
Paris! Paris! Paris! The best server I may have ever encountered. Wow. Efficient. Kind. Knowable and amazing. And how's the food and drink you ask? Wowsers. Simply stunning. It gets no better than Indibar! The most creative cocktail menu. Upside and remarkably delicious Indian food. This place is pure perfection. Thank you to the whole staff. Nigel and Paris you guys are simply wonderful.

Yelp
Good place to try once! We were super hyped for it but most of the food didn't stand out from other good Indian food. Drinks were amazing! The service and ambience made our experience a lot better. Our favorite was the Murga kulcha and least fave was just the classic pani puri, which in my opinion was below average.

Yelp
We went for the Diwali set dinner. The restaurant looks great and the food was pretty good (although the Diwali dinner only came with mostly chicken or cheese for the veg platters). The service was awful and comical. The hostess was unfriendly and our server did not show up for a good bit and when she did , she didn't know the menu, seemed barely there. Our wine bottle was dropped of by the bartender in a bucket without a word of explanation. The only hard working persons seemed to be the food runner, a small gal who was running round looking stressed and of course too hurried to explain the food. I believe the owner as well was running around. In fact, besides taking our orders, I couldn't really see what the waitress did. I think the place has potential but the service ruined this evening for us.

Yelp
Went to Indibar for chef week and was blown away! Definitely some of the best Indian food I have had before. Some of the highlight dishes were the tandoori seabass and the dal Bukhara (I could have just eaten a bowl of those lentils with garlic naan and been very happy!) The dishes were plated beautifully and had unique spins on them. I highly recommend and can't want to go back.

Yelp
My BF found Indibar on the web. I hadn't heard of it, even though it's in the Trader Joe's plaza I go to 1-2X a month. Since the menu features unusual small plates (perhaps the chef's creations?), the servers probably need to explain what they are to most diners. Ours was excellent. We had, and loved, the khube sukkem (littleneck clams) and a salmon dish that was fresh and delicious - possibly the best salmon I've had this side of Nobu NY before the corporate buyout. We also tried the ragi papdi chaat which was...different to be sure! We had buttered naan to soak up the flavors. These three plates were enough for us to eat on a very hot day. The restaurant is attractive and has a full bar and what looks like a party or overflow room. I certainly plan to come back for happy hour and try a signature cocktail, perhaps with masala fries.

Yelp
you're looking for an elevated dining experience that blends deeply flavorful Indian cuisine with inventive, artfully crafted cocktails, Indibar is an absolute must. I had an incredible evening here--every dish and drink was a spark of joy, making it a night to remember at what is now my new favorite Indian restaurant and cocktail destination. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between romantic elegance and modern sophistication. The service was--attentive, intuitive, and genuinely warm, adding a welcomed human touch to the dining experience. The cocktails were not only delicious but beautifully presented, each one was an impressive act of craft and art. One standout was the "ULTA" Boiler Maker, a slightly sweet whisky-based drink topped with a foamy lager crown--sipped from the rim, it delivered a perfect contrast of flavors. My favorite, though, was the Ghee Spot--a warm, nuanced take on the martini that was both unexpected and perfect. As for the food, every dish was vibrant and full of rich and fresh flavors. I especially enjoyed the Hamachi Crudo, Kale & Walnut Tikki, and the tender beef cheek. But the highlight of the night was the Lamb Shank Rogan Josh--a balanced mix of rich, bold flavor that served as the perfect grand finale to a phenomenal meal.

Yelp
This restaurant could not be any better. The lighting and ambiance is perfect. Every detail is luxurious, and well thought out. And the food? Flawless. There was not a single crumb left at our table. It was very clear that everything was clean and well thought out as well. The kitchen was spotless. Truly a five star restaurant, and we will back again soon. World class.

Yelp
I tend to write restaurant reviews more often when traveling. Such is the case for this review, when we went to Indibar, based on a tip from a local, when we were visiting the Scottsdale area. Turns out it was great advice - we really enjoyed Indibar! This is not your stereotypical Indian restaurant by any means. The décor is uber-polished and raises your expectations when you walk through the door. The martini-drinking leopard on the menu is so sophisticated it is wearing a bowtie! This was a great start. The food matched the standard of the décor. Many creative cocktails are on offer and the bar created a wonderful Severi to start the meal. Following, there is a nice selection of wines to complement the courses. We ordered the pani puri, which was excellent, and we also were really happy that we ordered the kashmiri lamb shank as it was super yummy! We finished these and a couple of small plates off with chai and biskoot for dessert, which was a great way to finish the meal. The service was enthusiastic, warm and attentive. Sara and Henry took great care serving us and the chef, Ajay, checked in on his creations to make sure they were on point. Being a new restaurant, I'm not surprised that some earlier reviews have noted the service was a bit less polished; but, based on our experience, the team is gelling fast and this restaurant will only get better as it hits its stride. We look forward to coming back the next time we are in the Scottdale area - hopefully not in the summertime!

Yelp
Best experience ever!!! Thank you for the wonderful atmosphere, we had the best time at the cocktail camp.

Yelp
Tonight was my fiancés and I first time. I must say, not only was the ambiance everything but the waitress was super knowledgeable about the menu. for a restaurant that was opened 5 months ago! This place will be known to be the number 1 upscale Indian restaurant in the country! I say this confidently. everyone was dressing kinda mixed but I say if your coming to dinner dress to impress! We did! the restaurant deserves the extra effort! -john

Yelp
Indibar exceeded all expectations. Went for dinner with a good size group, but they hit all the marks despite our all various needs. The food was consistently outstanding and our server, Paris, was delightful. Even the cocktails were creative and delicious. We will definitely be returning (and telling friends)!

Yelp
We've been twice in the last month and will definitely be back. Vipin was our server both times, hopefully he is our server next time. He makes good recommendations, is attentive and will tell you what to order. The cocktails are interesting and great. We've enjoyed all the gin and tequila ones. The boilermaker and the rum cocktail were not our cup of tea, but we're still well balanced and good for what they are. For food, we've had a lot, and we love the variety and the great flavor of everything we've had. If you are familiar with Indian cuisine, you will do fine, if you are not just ask questions and you won't go wrong. We've got several things we are excited to go back and try. We enjoyed Cafe Pinot, so we are excited to have such a nice, upscale, and vibrant new restaurant in their old spot. 5/5 stars. Well done!

Paula P.

Yelp
First of all the service is phenomenal! Sara, Quinn, Robert, Jonah helped us out so much. We sat at the bar and it was delightful. After we ordered food, Nigel came over and we had to share with him how much we love his butter chicken recipe. It is phenomenal along with the garlic naan. I tried a new drink called the Begum's G$T and it was wonderful. Thank you @Indibar how do you get pictures on them Scottsdale for a wonderful evening
google avatar

Sam W.

Yelp
Indibar is a modern, fresh take on Indian cuisine. The dishes aren't overly spicy, and there are plenty of great vegetarian and pescatarian options. We ordered the Coastal Prawn and Raw Mango Curry and the Butter Chicken and both were absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Lively Atmosphere, but Conversation Challenging; Drinks Shine, Food Falls Short on Value. The restaurant offered a pleasant overall atmosphere, but we found the noise level inside to be quite loud. It made having a comfortable conversation with our dinner party pretty challenging, which was a bit disappointing for a date night. Regarding the food, we found it to be average. While nothing was particularly bad, it didn't stand out or justify the price tag. The murgh khatta pyaaz kulchette appetizer was good, the pork ribs was dry - I was expecting a lot more flavor; the chai and biskoot was a great desert. The definite highlight of the evening was the drinks; they were well-crafted and enjoyable. I really enjoyed the kaali peeli cocktail which has this amazing experience when brought to your table, and my husband got the mango' lore which was also really good. Service was attentive and polite throughout our meal. Ultimately, while the drinks and service were good, the overall experience with the food didn't quite match the cost.
google avatar

Tera D.

Yelp
This was an excellent dinner. The space is really cool. Service started a little slow - we were there at 7pm on a Saturday night - but improved as the night went on. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but standouts were the kheema dosa (minced lamb and rice crepe) and the tandori chicken. I normally avoid ordering chicken at restaurants because it's boring, but this was SO flavorful. The only disappointment was the desserts, which just weren't very flavorful. Neither the pina colada nor the chai and biskoot blew us away. Next time I'll order an additonal savory plate instead!

Yelp
We just went for the first time last Thursday, and it was an incredible experience. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and beautifully designed. The menu may seem a bit daunting (there's even a glossary at the back), but there are both classics and new things to try, with the staff and owner there to help guide you. Service is some of the best in the Valley. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Beautiful , modern high quality Indo fusion food. Great location . From various, crafted cocktails to delicious appetizers, pani puri. Kale- walnut patties. Masala fries and entree . Garlic Naan, veg Biryani, Mushroom kofta, and non- veg lamb dish was everyone's favorite. Good selection of veg. non- veg dishes. The owner John and his staff was very friendly, great service.

Yelp
Indibar isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience waiting to be savored. From the moment you step in, you're surrounded by India's culinary soul wrapped in modern elegance. The entrance greets you with a stunning wall of antiques, while golden hues, intricate motifs, and a jaw-dropping mural in the private room set the tone for something extraordinary. And the bar? Absolutely gorgeous it's as much a feast for the eyes as the Mango'Lore, Coorg Confidential, and ULTA! are for the palate. Trust me, these cocktails are not to be missed. The service is the cherry on top. Attentive, warm, and effortlessly professional, the staff make you feel like royalty without any of the stiffness. But it's the food that takes center stage. The Lamb Shank Rogan Josh is unforgettable. It's fragrant, tender, and falling off the bone with every bite. It's my personal favorite and deserves its own spotlight. The Butter Chicken, on the other hand, is comfort food on a pedestal. Pair it with their perfectly baked naan--soft, airy, and delicately charred--and you'll find yourself scraping the plate clean, wondering how soon you can come back. Indibar delivers on every level. Whether it's a romantic date night, a celebration, or a moment of indulgence just because this is the place that turns meals into memories. Not being hyperbolic, the friends and family you have combined with fine food and spirits will always be memorable. One visit and you'll know exactly why it's in a league of its own.

Yelp
Indibar was the highlight of my food adventure during my trip to AZ. What made it even more memorable was the opportunity to chat with some of the wonderful people who helped bring this restaurant to life. The concept has been in the works for many years, and it was wonderful to see that dream finally come to reality. Being able to connect with the people here really gave a "mom-and-pop" feel, but with a modern, chic twist. I loved how they put a modern spin on Indian cuisine, while still staying true to its authentic flavors--without falling into the trap of trendy fusion. The ambiance is sleek and stylish, from the art deco to the specially curated menu and crafted drinks. It definitely stands out from the standard spots, though I have room in my heart for all places with delicious food, whether it's street food in India or the local gems I love to visit. This is the perfect place for a special occasion or a romantic night out. Plus, the private room looks stunning. You can't go wrong with any of the meat dishes. The lamb shank and beef cheek were slow-cooked and --so tender that you'll be hearing "Love Me Tender" in your head. The butter chicken and shrimp curry will put a smile on your face and make your hips shimmy like you're the next Indian pop star. The Pina Colada dessert was so beautiful that I almost didn't want to break into it--but I'm glad I did! It was tasty and satisfying, and I'm not even a big dessert person. I tried several cocktails, and my favorite by far was the one with infused guava. You'll just have to order a few yourself to find out which one I'm talking about. My advice? Get there soon before it gets too busy! I can't wait to go back and try all the other dishes. Sorry, no food photos. Busy eating everything up! Great job, Indibar!

Yelp
Me and my wife are frequent to fine dine restaurants. There are restaurants that offer unique flavor and there are restaurants that just reduce quantity, make food expensive and call them fine dining. Indibar is the later. 1. We ordered vegetarian platter. Good taste but only 4 pieces for $38. There was nothing unique. We felt cheated. 2. The two people tables are very tiny and there is just one of them. Other tables are combined. Unfortunately we got the one. We wanted to order multiple dishes but couldn't due to table size. This killed the experience. 3. Ordered papad paneer subzee. it was very very poor. They had 1.5"-2" paneer cubes and they were uncooked. This is very basic and fundamental. If you are having big pieces of paneer, make sure they are cooked. 4 pieces of normal papad did not change anything. Side of rice was tiny. 4. Drinks were below average. I ordered falooda cocktail and was very watery. 5. very very few vegetarian options. I feel cheated and will never go to this place again.

Yelp
We've been here 3 times now. The food is excellent. Creative, flavorful, beautifully presented. Our most recent server was Henry and he was fantastic. He knew the dishes, the complexity of the ingredients, and even pronounced the names correctly, lol. This has become our favorite Indian restaurant and is leagues above the others in town. Elevated food with elevated service.

Yelp
Every morsel, every sip, every visual, the table, the plate, the mirror - all have a story that's rooted in history, or empowerment, and a solid cultural significance. Mothers, grandmoms, parents, history, Cheetah restoration- all that and more go into every dish and drink. You cannot find a better cocktail experience in PHX. And come summer, their exclusive space Leher opens up for fine dining with wine and cocktail pairings. Come experience 5000 years of India.

Yelp
An incredible experience from start to finish. The off-menu tomato soup seemed to be an all around favorite and our group agreed that it should be officially added to the menu! (Seriously, it was awesome!) The tandoori chicken and the mango curry with shrimp were also fantastic. The cocktail menu was innovative and fun (the Ulta Boiler Maker was mine, and even after tasting most of the other drinks people ordered I maintain that it's one of the best drinks I've had), and the desserts were a perfect way to wrap up our meal. Huge shoutout to Paris- best server ever!- and the rest of the staff at Indibar; you gave us a fantastic experience. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We visited INDIBAR on a Friday night. I was immediately impressed by the aesthetic, the design was beautiful and chic. All the food had incredible flavor! It was my first time trying Indian food, but my Indian friend who I dined with confirmed that it was authentic. The servers didn't have a very strong knowledge and understanding of the menu, but they were very attentive and friendly. There was a glossary at the back of the menu which describes certain ingredients/terms of the food which was so helpful! Overall, I would definitely return for an authentic, yet elevated Indian food experience.

Yelp
Interior is beautiful. As I've traveled to almost every state on my 13 trips to India, I think the dishes like chicken tikka masala need more traditional seasoning. Middle of the road Indian cuisine that leaves room for improvement. Maybe once the restaurant gets its footing it will be up to par with other long standing Indian restaurants in Phoenix metro.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I had Coastal Prawn and raw mango curry was worth the hype. The service at the bar was outstanding. Quinn and Abbey, provided friendly and amazing service. I was impressed by their menu knowledgeable. The owner of the restaurant delivered the food and introduced himself, which was a great gesture, especially when you are a first time diner.
