My husband and I have been to The Foreigner for both brunch and dinner and both were amazing. The food is so thoughtful and creative! Chef’s counter setup makes it feel personal in the best way — you can really see how much care goes into every dish. The service is great too — warm, not stuffy. We loved it so much we are returning in January for our birthdays. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Orlando. PS: bring back the brunch!!

The Foreigner was by far one of the most incredible dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many fine dining restaurants, but none compare to what The Foreigner delivers. The flavors, the creativity behind each dish, and the adventurous flavor profiles were unforgettable. The service and wine pairing were truly out of this world. Chef Bruno is a master of his craft — creating an elevated, intimate dining experience that still feels warm and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that balances excellence and comfort so effortlessly. He and his team deserve all the praise and recognition for their artistry.

We’ve wanted to dine at The Foreigner Restaurant in Orlando for years, and we finally made it happen for my fiancée's birthday. The experience was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Chef Bruno delivered a masterclass in hospitality, culinary artistry, and storytelling. Every course was a true celebration of flavor and creativity, and the service throughout the evening was flawless. There’s simply no comparison to what we experienced that night. Every dish was outstanding, and we’ve been raving about it to everyone we know. Thank you, Chef Bruno and the entire team, for an unforgettable evening we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful, delicious, artful, experience. Friendly, unpretentious, yet poetic and elevating. The wine pairings were outstanding. The salad blew our minds and surrendered our palates. The Chef, hostess, and staff were so attentive, with a gentle supportive pampering presence. It was sublime. All the way to the private birthday cake and candle at the end. We will be back. The whole experience at Foreigner was unforgettable for us. Having Bruno explaining what went into the dishes at the counter for the first half and then sitting at a communal table with other patrons made the experience feel very special. The ingredients used are top notch. I really enjoyed every single dish. The wine pairing was also top notch. This restaurant is easily one of the top 5 restaurants in Orlando.

A terrific fine dining experience at Foreigner. Chef Bruno delivered a well thought out and delicious tasting menu. The black egg is a visual stunner and delightful. I appreciated that the foie gras course was not overly sweat (so often it’s like candy). I love foie gras (if it’s on the menu, I order it) but the dish, even though it looked spectacular, was lacking in flavor and the richness you associate with the dish. Perhaps some salt was needed on the liver? I don’t know…I was expecting this decadent bite, but it was not quite there. The seared for gras, that came with the steak was better. As soon as the tomato and watermelon dish arrived it filled the senses; it was fragrant and a great transition into the lovely pasta course, among my favorites. Cooked perfectly, the shrimp filling was very flavorful. I could have had double the portion. The charcuterie display comes with black bread and butter. Unusual and creative, the bread supports a display of delightful and tasty small dishes packed with flavor. They are not ground breaking but the tastebuds don’t lie. From the two meat courses the rabbit was my favorite. Rabbit is a very difficult meat to prepare. Very lean, it can often be dry. But in the hands of Chef Bruno it is soft and succulent. I think it had some sort of sauce or something rolled inside. Can’t remember but it was expertly prepared. I hope it stays on the menu. Now the steak was good too (I loved the seared foie gras) but more traditional. I think there is an opportunity here to give it a more imaginative twist. But it was solid. The pear and fig baba dessert looked very modern, but I must say I enjoyed the bon bons more. I think the baba was dense. It needed to be moister. The dessert was an underwhelming finish. BUT, the bon bons were just great; perfectly tempered chocolate with delicious fillings. They looked like little jewels and tasted even better. Overall, this is high quality cooking. And I must mention that the dishes are portioned well so you feel full by the end of the dinner (something that is often overlooked in fine dining). I look forward to coming back to Foreigner to see what they do next.

An unforgettable dining experience! We attended dinner at Foreigner for my birthday, and it absolutely blew us away from start to finish. Every course was incredible, beautifully presented, and full of creativity. The interaction with the Chef and his genuine passion for food made the night even more special. The intimate setting, perfect wine pairings, and warm atmosphere created such good vibes all around. Truly one of the most creative and delicious meals we’ve ever had, this was an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time!

We came here for my birthday and it was hands down one of the best dining experiences we've ever had! From the moment we walked in, everyone we interacted with was kind and attentive. Throughout our meal Chef Bruno was there to explain and walk us though every dish. We had eleven courses and every dish was phenomenal, we couldn't possibly pick a favorite. The overall hospitality is unmatched, we cannot wait to dine with them again! Side note- if you enjoy oysters- check out Bruno's Oysters in Winter Garden, always a great variety, and wonderful service!

Had the opportunity to check out Foreigner Restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! Chef Bruno was fantastic and his food is exceptional. When you walk in, you are greeted by the host, and seated at the kitchen counter for the dining experience. There is no menu card, but you do receive it at the end of the dining experience. You are immersed with anticipation with each new course that is presented to you. After the main entree is served, you are taken to the dessert table where the servers provide an array of delicious treats. Overall, the experience and food was phenomenal, and you must be open minded in regards to what is being presented in front of you as you eat it and enjoy the experience!

Details make the difference! Great technique and respect to the fresh ingredients is a recipe for deliciousness! Chef Bruno and his staff treated us like royalty. The restaurant has a beautiful contemporary decor, neat and refresh! Chef Bruno knowledge of different ingredient and technique made an unparalleled experience. He described every single ingredient, place from the ingredient, time to prepare and technique. We ate 12 meal course with superb presentation and execution. His sommelier brought a best selection of wines. He provided us the details of the wine as region, grate type, temperature, fruitiness, tannic, mineral, peppery and etc. We tasted a magnificent selection from Frances wines, Napa & Portugal. Lauren prepared us a delightful coffee. The dessert was interesting and yummy! We finished with home made chocolates plus a present from the chef and the staff. Overall experience was awesome! Chef Bruno and his staff showed their World wide cuisine knowledge as French, Italian & Portuguese.

This restaurant had been on my to try list and my sister treated my BIL and I to celebrate life from a tough year! Everything was exceptional and the blend of flavors with each course were delicious and on point. The staff and the chef were friendly, attentive, professional and explained each course as we received it. At the end of our meal, for dessert we moved to the communal tile to enjoy our sweets and if needed some coffee. I forgot to mention that we started with the caviar add on, which was good and it was a surprise to have it served with potatoes. Personally, we like the usual way to serve caviar (bread) but it was a good thing to try. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a modern chic look and feel and seating encourages other guests to talk to each other if they would like. It was an awesome experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

I was super excited to finally visit, especially for brunch! Being able to try out the brunch menu made me want to come back to dinner soon. Food: My favorite from the brunch menu was the soft shell crab tostadas. It was so flavorful and the soft shell crab was so fresh and prepared to perfection. Honestly the best soft shell crab I've had. The other dishes were unique as well and very tasty. For a 4-course tasting it was pretty filling for brunch but not too full where I'm uncomfortable. Overall a great brunch menu and I'd come back for dinner! Service: Chef Bruno was very friendly and he checked in with all the guests throughout the meal to make sure we're enjoying ourselves. The staff were amazing and friendly. Ambiance: I love the space and decor. It's very modern and classy. I also love the music selection and learned the chef Bruno is really into music himself. Value: It was totally worth the price for brunch! The beverage pairing was also great for the price. Brunch for 2 people with beverage pairing for 2 came out to $240 after service charge and tax. Parking: There were a few parking spots reserved for the restaurants but the parking lot itself have enough parking spaces too, at least when we're here for brunch (around noon). So parking wasn't hard here.

The talent of each dish and presentation was remarkable. If you have an opportunity, this place is it! Perfect for any special occasion or celebration.

Foreigner Restaurant is hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. I came here for my birthday this summer and haven't stopped thinking about it since. Every single detail from when you walk in the door to when you leave is intentional. The food, service, and atmosphere is all top notch. The menu changes monthly, so I won't give too many details about the meal I had, but each course was thoughtful and unique from Chef Bruno's perspective as a "foreigner". Everything is inspired from his travels throughout the world along with seasonal ingredients. It is definitely pricey, but the experience is well worth it. I feel very lucky to have this sort of dining experience just down the road from me. I'm looking forward to when I have another celebration so I have an excuse to come back!

Wow. What an elegant, artistic fine dining experience. The food, the service, the presentation by Chef Bruno Fonseca and his amazing team are all top notch. Did I mention the food? Absolutely loved the black egg, black butter, the Foie gras, the scallops, the truffles, the...the...the.... EVERYTHING. Foreigner deserves some Michelin love! You gotta give it a try. You'll thank me.

An intimate, upscale, fine dining restaurant with a cozy vibe! Came here to celebrate a special birthday. Everyone was very kind, got taken care of really well and the Chef was pretty funny that had our table laughing. Each dish was of course unique in its own presentation and taste. Some of the dishes were foreign to me, different flavors I haven't tasted before that was fun to try. I find it interesting how they change their menu each month. Pretty pricey but very nice experience to try at least once!

My husband and I attended at least four chef's table experiences at The Foreigner when they were a pop-up at The Heavy. The style at their pop-up was similar to what is offered at the new restaurant; Nouveau American prix fixe chef's table with monthly changes to the menu. We were absolutely thrilled with this dinner experience. Chef Bruno crafted an elegant menu for the evening and everything was constructed so artfully by himself and his team. The reserve wine pairing was also exquisite. This is an experience absolutely worth repeating. My favorite was the second duck dish, although I loved the the fois gras in the pastry. My husband said his favorite was the oyster starter with the caviar. Salivating just thinking about it again. And what a cute touch to move everyone to the dessert table at the end for the cheese course, coffee service and dessert. The service was also top notch. Michelin-worthy!

We had an amazing experience dining here. Our party of 4 sat at the corner of the bar and had dinner there and I think it is probably the most desirable spot because you can watch the prep, interact w the chef throughout the night, and converse easily w your party. The caviar was amazing and I would recommend adding it to the meal. The wine pairing was also well worth it. Chef Bruno took us through our meal the entire night and was fun, energetic, and charming. The food was top notch and not pretentious at all. We left with full bellies and a memorable evening.

Great! Originally planned to go elsewhere, but this place had an opening. Pretty good, indeed. They start with a matcha lime drink. The tomato sorbet salad is tasty. The sandwich is decent, but the brioche at the bottom is a bit heavy. The charcuterie is delicious, with fragrant ham. Desserts are also good, especially the sweet soup with cherry and blue cheese, although the chocolate is average. They offer wine pairing, with a different wine for each dish. Would come back for the new menu.

Where do I begin here. When you enter through the doors you are welcomed into a super vibey dining room. They are small and reservations only. This is the way they are able to provide the absolute best culinary experience. I cannot express how amazing each and every course, 10 in total, was absolutely incredible. Chef Bruno and team really hit all of the marks, from the service, atmosphere, knowledge of beverages, and most importantly their food. This was by far the best food I have ever had and it's not even close. 100/10

I can't say enough good things about this experience! I had the absolute pleasure of dining with Chef Bruno Fonesca and his team, prior to their having a brick and mortar, as a pop up in The Heavy in Winter Park. We indulged in the 8 course food and wine pairing, and genuinely indulgent is the only word to use. Each course was interesting, creative, and incredible to eat and the wine pairings were expertly selected. The entire meal was well balance and exciting, keeping you curious and wanting more, leaving you fully satisfied by the end but looking forward to the next experience with them. Chef Bruno and his staff are extremely talented and kind, and skilled artists in their crafts. I can't wait to try his food again at their new location.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at the Foreigner for my anniversary dinner. Everything far exceeded my expectations. The people who work there along with Chef Bruno are fantastic. I adore the concept of dining at the chef's counter, and you get a very one on one experience that you will not find in the majority of restaurants. The food and execution of the plating were all great. Beautiful plates and delicious food. Pur of all of our courses my favorite was the veal and that was my first time havining veal. Tye duck was absolutely cooked to perfection as well. I went in not knowing the menu, so I was very excited as well as worried that they would be able to accommodate my having Celiac Disease. They were very accommodating, and they also just didn't have a lot of courses that even contained gluten to start with. I didn't feel left out in any way. The restaurant is very nice, it's very classy in its own way. There is a sommelier there to help with wine pairings. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall and there is free parking if you can find it because there are also other restaurants located in that strip mall. The restaurant was easy to find as well. I very much hope to return here again. It was one of the best meals I had all of 2023.

I'm so mad at myself for waiting til they had a brick and mortar! But it was worth the wait! Bruno and his staff are fantastic! They are so knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is gorgeous. You sit at the bar and watch the food being assembled as they tell you the story behind each dish. This is a splurge but so worth it! I can't wait to go back and try their May menu!!!!!

Wow! That's my review. Seriously, it's amazing that Orlando has another new world-class restaurant. It's been an amazing couple of years for Michelin-quality places opening up, and Foreigner is right at the top of that class. If it doesn't seem like this restaurant has only been open a few weeks, that's because Chef Bruno and his team have been honing their presentation for four years in pop-ups. Now they are taking full advantage of this beautiful new space, presenting ten courses, beginning at the ten-seat counter, and ending at the communal dessert table. Each course is assembled in front of you. Chef Bruno's interaction with the diners makes the presentation a delight. And his friendliness encourages interaction among everyone, making Foreigner a really fun and relaxed environment. With so many standouts, it's hard to pick a favorite, and with half the menu changing every two weeks, you won't see many repeats. My favorites were: *The seemingly simple tomato salad with it its amazing salt-topped tomato sorbet. *The perfectly seared foie gras atop a stunning little banana pie. *The black butter and equally black, crusty sourdough bread. *And it's hard to choose between the hay-smoked duck or the perfectly dry-aged lamb course, each served with perfect accompaniments. Regular or reserve wine pairings thoughtfully accompany every course. My only wish is that the souvenir menu included more description of the ingredients, as with so many complex courses, it's hard to remember all the twists and turns! If you're looking for a sublime dining experience, Foreigner is the real deal.

One of Orlando's newest and best tasting experiences! Every course was exquisitely crafted, each one beautifully plated and full of vibrant, delicious ingredients. The care and attention given to every detail of every course absolutely blew me away. I can't wait to return!

A fantastic interactive coursed dining experience with an energetic and talented chef. An upscale and constantly changing menu with diverse fine ingredients, highly recommend for foodies who enjoy sitting front and center to watch each step of prep and plating. Worth the drive from Tampa!

Since the sale of Le Coq au Vin several years ago , long before it closed , there has been at best a dearth of excellent dining experiences (with the exception of the impossible-to-reserve Victoria and Albert's) in greater Orlando. Many good places, lots of fun ideas and experiments , but nothing that made you sit in your car afterwards and just say " Wow"". Until now. Chef Bruno and his culinary team treated my wife, daughter and I to an experience rarely available outside of NYC. Eleven courses, superbly made, and a couple flat showstoppers. Taste, textures and technique in harmony. Approached the sublime at times. Wine pairing was subtle but spot-on. No nuance was spared, no taste bud left wanting. My sincere compliments to Chef Bruno and crew. Run, Orlando foodies, and welcome Orlando's next legitimate contender for a Michelin star.

Lovely little spot on Corrine, nestled in the line of stores in the now busy neighborhood. We first tried their brunch and loved that it was not the "typical" food but rather a shorter/sneak peek at what they serve during dinner service. We came back for their dinner tasting menu and it was FANTASTIC from start (at the bar area) to finish (dessert and coffee at the dining table). We were so full! Chef Bruno has a good thing going here!

We did foreigner when Bruno had his pop up spot in the old Lombardi's seafood place. Now he has a full kitchen and holy cow has he elevated his game! I'm not sure which course was best. The attention to detail. The interactions with the chefs and sommelier made a unique and special experience. We did the wine pairing and the wines chosen we're mind blowing. Highly recommend it. The space is beautiful. Welcome to Audubon Park Chef Bruno and team!

I was really looking forward to this experience. I was a bit let down by this brunch experience while the chefs were all very attentive, it did feel rushed and for the price and extra wine service paid for I was expecting more than 4 courses. It was worse when I saw we were charged an extra $30 just for water.

I did not plan to go to Foreigner, but another restaurant cancelled my prepaid reservation at the last minute. I was disappointed, but it caused me to search for alternatives, and I found this place. I don't splurge on many things, but I guess my one extravagance is great restaurants from time to time. I have been to many Michelin rated restaurants over the years; some of them multiple times. Even though Foreigner only recently opened at its current location, I would say that it is comparable to a Michelin two-star restaurant overall, and in terms of the experience (which is as important to me as the food), I would say it is comparable to any of the Michelin three-star restaurants I have been to in San Francisco, Chicago, New York or Paris. I am not kidding. I don't post reviews often, but the five people running this restaurant deserve to be recognized for the world class restaurant they have built in a former skateboard store. I am sure that restaurant critics will discover this place soon enough; make a reservation now while you still can.
