Oak & Ola

"Under the aegis of celebrated chef, Anne Kearny, this boisterous scene forms one of the keystone culinary destinations for the massive Armature Works development in which it is housed. The menu relies heavily on prominent wood-fired ovens and casts a wide net for European flavors, turning to Iberian ingredients—as in the roasted octopus with chorizo, white beans and kale. Then, Germany might be the inspiration behind a plate of bregenwurst with caraway-pickled cabbage and apple chutney. Other offerings, like yellowtail snapper with amandine sauce, have their roots in New Orleans, where the chef first earned her reputation. Regardless of this particular reference point, the common thread here is assertive flavors prepared with an assured lack of fuss." - Michelin Inspector

Very nice experience here at the Armature Works area. The filet mignon from the specials menu was very good. As was the salmon and cheese burger from regular menu both of those were nice portions. Travis was our server, he did an excellent job answering questions about menu items and wasn’t afraid to give his opinion. He even brought us sourdough bread upon our request without hesitation. Now it’s time to enjoy the Riverwalk here in Tampa.

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Oak & Ola. From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us warmly, and throughout the night the manager also came by to check in, which made the evening feel extra special. Our server, Felix, was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. He guided us through the menu with great recommendations, and everything we tried was spot on. We started with a couple of appetizers—the olives, the pinchos, and some of the special drinks—which were a great way to begin the night. For dinner, we had the hanger steak and the Spanish octopus, both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. To finish, Felix recommended the Basque cheesecake, and it was the perfect balance—light, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The service and food were equally excellent, and the overall atmosphere made for a memorable evening. Oak & Ola is definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends.

PHENOMENAL! 10/10!! Food was amazing and atmosphere too! It was a group of 10 of us including two kids (one in a stroller). They were very accommodating with us. I ordered the kids spaghetti and meatballs for my toddler and he ate the entire thing. It was one of the best dishes that we tried. We also ordered the fish which was very good, the ricotta and meatball pizza also excellent, the vodka pasta also good but the meatball pasta was better, and the lamb feta appetizer, which was also delicious. For drinks, I got jiggy with it. It was one of the best drinks I’ve had. Highly recommend will definitely be back !!

Last night we went to Oak and Ola to celebrate the sale of our house. It’s a newer restaurant that is part of the Armature works. We sat outside at a table with comfortable chairs on the patio. It was a nice spot, the weather was comfortable and it wasn’t noisy, but there were lots of people on the grounds and lots of kids running and playing. It’s nice to watch kids having fun. The menu was very eclectic with some Italian some German and some French and American dishes as well as an extensive cocktail and wine list. My wife drank her usual Sparkling Water I drank Luminescence draft beer, delicious. We shared a German sausages as an appetizer served with sauerkraut and mustard, it was delicious then we followed that with two different pizzas so we could share. One of the pizzas had Fig jam as its main ingredient so it was sweet. Interesting. The other was regular meat balls, both were very nice and we cleared our plates. To finish we shared Mousse. Service from Carla was excellent. We had a good time and spent $110 before tip

Everyone around me at my table gave mix reviews on their dish. But they loved my steak lol. We tried each other dishes. My guy enjoyed his pork chop. The pasta Alfredo was okay. The cuterie was over price. They did great on the mix drinks. The servers were sweet. I would return there for their steak actually. It tasted better than the Hard Rock steak 🥩 house actually and it’s cheaper. We loved the sides for the steak also!

We made reservations for Sunday brunch at 10:30 on Resy. We initially made it for indoor dining but upon arrival were offered either inside /outside since both were available. It was a beautiful day so we chose outside and it was perfect. There was yoga in the park occurring at the same time and the atmosphere was so nice. Our server was so attentive. She had a great awareness of the menu and describing the options. We had the zucchini bread which was so good and not overly sweet. For our meals we had the BEC croissant, Eggs Benedict, Chorizo gravy and biscuits. They were served with crispy Yukons It was so good. We definitely want to go back and try other menu options (or I’ll just keep getting the bacon egg and cheese croissant ☺️) . We also had cappuccino’s that were very good and came with perfect foam and sugar cubes

We visited this amazing restaurant on our first night in Tampa (Jay was our server) and decided to eat here again on our second and last night. Whilst the food was as innovative and delicious as the night before, the service at table 12 was poor. Yes, we were asked about whether the food was good, but otherwise the attention and sincerity that was present on our first visit was sadly lacking; e.g. we were given the check even before asking for it when we still had 1/2 a bottle of wine to drink. Such a shame!

Google
Another excellent dinner at Oak & Ola. We began with the Spanish Meatball appetizer followed by the Gulf Fish Almondine (catch of the day was Snapper) for each of us, delicious!! Our server, Jackie, was awesome, keeping our water and wine glasses full, as well as recommending a terrific dessert choice, the English Toffee Cake, also delicious. At this point the manager, Chris, came by to ensure everything was perfect with our dinner. Thank you for the great experience and, Yes, our dinner was perfect!

Yelp
This was one of my best restaurant experiences in the last few months. Top tier food, service, and vibes all around. I was visiting Tampa for work and a coworker and I just happened to come across Oak and Ola online. Came out kind of late on a Tuesday, around 8:30PM. Seated right away. Our server was fantastic. She was super knowledgable, skilled at her job, but also very friendly and personable. Total gem. Drinks and appetizers were great. I had the steak and beets for my entree and it was amazing. We realized that we were the last guests about 5-10 minutes after their closing time (10PM) but didn't feel rushed to get out of there in any way. The manager was super attentive to all guests throughout the night. The whole experience was slightly surprising because our Uber dropped us off at the front of the food hall that this restaurant is attached to, so we thought maybe it was a food hall booth. Ended up having an incredible dinner experience.

Yelp
Solid 4 stars. Had a reservation, no wait. Asked if we wanted to sit outside and I said yes, but only if they can turn on the heat lamp. Promptly seated, waiter was great but a bit slow with water refills. I mentioned the heat lamp to him again and he said he needed to get the hostess to do it, would check and get right back to us. Asked several times throughout the course of dinner. Long story short, they had cleared our plates away by the time the heater got turned on. I literally only came for the fish amandine. I have had it before and it came highly recommended by our waiter. Both myself and my BF ended up getting it. It was flavorless! I was so disappointed. This was one of my favorite dishes in recent memory but I hadn't had it since 2021. Definitely not what I remember of it. The Brussels sprouts were delicious though. Ambiance outside would have been nice if I wasn't freezing the entire time due to them not turning on the heat lamp.

Yelp
I discovered Oak and Ola thanks to my good friend, John, who works here as a server. I've been here 5-10 times over the past 2ish years and it has always been a good experience. Every time, we've been served by John, other than the time he was a diner with us. Anything I've had on the menu has always been tasty. They often switch up their specials and have some pretty unique meals on the menu. It is a nice sized space right on the corner of Armature Works with some nice outdoor seating as well. The music isn't too loud inside and has good lighting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a nice sit-down spot inside of Armature Works!

Yelp
Ricotta pizza = creamy cloud chaos that made me question carbs forever. Caprese = burrata's steamy love letter to tomatoes, microgreens photobombing like overeager groupies. Truffle fries? 18-minute hostage drama in a skillet. Our server? Awkward, menu-blind, and whispered like he was leaking CIA secrets... He... mumbled..."the pizza...comes with... barely audible... cheese.

Yelp
Oak and Ola was an unexpected 5 star for me! My husband and I decided to come here on a lunch date during the week spontaneously. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and our server was attentive the entire time. We ordered the spanish meatballs, margherita pizza, steak frites and the O&O burger. Everything was absolutely delicious. The spanish meatballs were definitely a favorite of mine and something I still think about. I definitely want to return back one day and try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here twice now, lovely to sit outside under the roof near the water. What a great little area. You have to park and walk a little bit, but that's OK. The food was pretty good. The service was good. The inside decor is interesting. The staff was OK, we were there kind of late so they had a very limited staff and we did have to wait quite a while to get out food and then we waited quite a while to get our check. I know they were thinking about closing so they were probably doing their closing duties. They have an interesting bathroom and a nice little couch seating area while you're waiting. Prices are a little higher than average, but the food quality is probably a little higher than average so I think you get what you pay for.

Yelp
Went to Oak & Ola for brunch and I was surprised that it was already packed on a game day. Love the atmosphere and his rustic the decor is in the restaurant. The server was nice. I ordered the whole grains bowl with 2 over well eggs. The bowl itself was delicious however the quinoa was undercooked.

Yelp
Yum!!!! Oak & ola is always a great experience - we started with French fries and the braised lamb and pita which was delicious. Then we each ordered our own meals - pasta, chicken Marsala & the octopus. Absolutely delicious. Our waiter gave different recommendations based on what type of mood we were in. Great group spot or intimate date night spot. Overall would come back!

Yelp
Really amazing service staff (Alex) and exceptional food for brunch. Fantastic ambience.

Yelp
You want to enjoy an outdoor riverfront brunch with this great weather? Then try this delicious menu with great service. I can't believe there was no waiting in line, and dealing with 30 minutes waiting time. It's my new favorite hidden gem. I tried the custard French toast and I was transported to a Paris cafe. It turns out the chef trained in Paris and shares the same excellent flavors and ingredients tourist rave about. After, we enjoyed walking around the area watching boats go by experienced a lovely afternoon.

Yelp
We were able to get a reservation on a Saturday and decided to go. It was good to have the reservation. We went in and they took us to our table which was near the open bar area. Oak & Ola is inside what was an old factory and warehouse. But under some updates it is a special place that you can see out in the open. Everyone goes here for a reason. The atmosphere and the food. Felix, or waiter, was very open and helped us, making suggestions on what was special for the evening and what they have available. As a habit, I asked what he likes and what he would have, He mentioned his choice and it is a good way to start. At least you know what the waiter would have if they were sitting down. To start, we ordered a beverage that would help us read the menu. And that menu is small but offers so many possibilities. You can try it as a regular meal, or you can choose it as a series of courses. Combine appetizers for a small course. Or try a large entree and some mid-level courses. It is your decision on what to do and when. This is a very open way to eat. With our wine in hand we made our order and the way to combine the dishes. That was not a problem and we waited. In the meantime you can see the chefs cook at the open kitchen and cooking area. The team is moving quick as more people enter to eat. Starting with the appetizers we had a combination of two dishes which definitely were different. First was the Roasted Pepper & Eggplant Zacusca. It is an array of goat cheese smear, carrot, pickled golden sultana and a mint salad, It is even topped with some crisp nan to break up and put the three items on at once. This is something by hand if you wish. It is light and tasty and has a fresh flavor. Along with this we had a mid-size dish that was fried or roasted. For us this was Spanish Octopus. This included chorizo, white beans, Tuscan kale, charred red onion with a hazelnut vinaigrette. The octopus was fresh. It is that simple. Grilled to the right point where the taste is special. This was not kept in the freezer. This was just caught and used. It could have been a dinner unto itself. This was a good way to start. Next we had the main course. It was a combination of two dishes we shared once more. It is a good way to eat together. For this we had Margherita Pizza. It is fresh Mozzarella, Italian tomato sauce, basil, Parmigiano - Reggiano and olive oil. The crust was perfect. It was freshly made and the right size. This was like a pizza you get in Italy or New York. The cheese was made that day. The sauce was ideal. It was light and flavorful and just enough to complement the dish. With this we had a pasta we never tried. White Lamb Bolognese is special. It is made with Australian ground lamb, fresh made rigatoni, leeks, cream and Parmigiano-Reggiano. We shared this dish together but it was ideal for someone who wanted a pasta dish to themself. But when the light flavor was combined with the pizza it was like having pasta with bread as anyone in Italy would do. It was great. Of course, once we were done we had to have dessert. Felix told us of the special and we said we would give it a try. This was a good choice in many ways. English toffee cake that was rich and tasty. Not sweet. Very typical if in Europe. It was topped with fresh whip cream and had a scoop of vanilla gelato to compliment. We shared this and that was good to do. It was a wonderful dessert to have after the meal itself. It was excellent. Of course, the double espresso helped finish the meal. Overall Oak & Ola is a wonderful place to visit and experience. The Chef is Anne Kearney. She is a James Beard award winner. She has a unique combination of styles and techniques from New Orleans to France and beyond. She creates a meal of taste and flavors and techniques that are hard to find. The menu is great. The pricing is very fair. The team is ideal to be with and they know everything. We thank them for their service. We are ready to go back and try something else on the menu.

Yelp
We ordered the lamb bolognese and the chicken Marsala.. both were yummy flavor wise- the chicken was a little overdone .. otherwise I loved the polenta cake, mushrooms and broccolini that came with it! The outdoor seating was great with a nice view!

Yelp
This is one of the consistently best restaurants in the city. Always great food, always great service! Last night we went and tried the new fall special: shortrib ragu with pappardelle pasta - wow! Please make this a regular menu item. We'll come back every week for more!
google avatar

Yelp
Super duper busy on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. So many people come here to eat, drink, relax, and enjoy themselves with all that Armature Works has to offer. I started with $14 Brussels- very good, but not all timer. I'd say 7.5/10. Then, I had a Caesar salad. Very standard, but lots of great Caesar flavor. As an entree I had the $19 Oak & Ola burger. I liked it a lot. Would definitely come back for that. Service is very quick, but I sat at the bar.

Yelp
Talk about a great experience! The restaurant is very open, with variety of great seating options. I would highly recommend a reservation as it was incredibly busy. Started with some delicious cocktails. They were well balanced and delicious. Kevin did a great job with recommendations and suggestions. Appetizers included the gulf shrimp, brussels sprouts and the beet crab salad. The brussels sprouts were bathed in a sauce that was to die for. Loved everything except the beet and crab salad, lacked in seasoning and was looking for more of a conventional salad when it came to the greens. For dinner we had the special, a delicious white fish with risotto cooked to perfection. The steak was also incredibly flavorful. Unfortunately we did not have room in our bellies for dessert but I'm sure it would have been delicious as the selections were exceptional. The service was impeccable and each food runner went into a detailed description of what was dropped at our table each time food was delivered. Prices were very reasonable considering the amount of food we got as well as two drinks all ended up being under $85. 10/10 experience and I will certainly be back!

Yelp
We made Reservations for NYE and was told there was a Limited menu. This is a nice location with excellent wait staff. The cocktails were wonderful and all 5 of us enjoyed our meals. My daughter and I both enjoyed the salmon. And the guys all said their steaks and pasta entrees were good. Recommend for a nice romantic meal atmosphere.

Yelp
In the trendy Armature Works. Not quite as trendy patrons as Predalina but still trendy. Got there early and the bar was quite full so had drinks at the rooftop bar at the restaurant upstairs. A lot of people waiting for their table so hopefully you don't get a table near the front desk. They have a creative cocktail list with a name of a famous chef beside it, I presume it is a take on the drink at their restaurant. I got the Marlowe's Spritz (Dominique Crenn) with lavender and rosemary vodka, pomegranate and cranberry shrub, lemon and Prosecco. Tasty and refreshing. Started with the octopus and Margherita pizza which were both very good. Would skip the garlic shrimp. Had the gulf fish almandine which was excellent; I usually don't like almandine but this version was light but still tasty. The special was rack of lamb with scallops which was the best of the bunch. The basque cheesecake was quite lovely. Oak and Ola is loud and boisterous and fun

Yelp
Decided to stop by Oak and Ola for the first time in a couple years. This was my first time trying the lunch menu and it was a great experience! Service wise our server and supporting staff were great, very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and gave good reccos. The service was a bit slow but the quality of our food was great and we were given a glass of Prosecco on the house for our wait. We also got cocktails which I can't remember the names of and are not pictured, but both were great! For our meal, I started off with the French onion soup, which wasn't life changing but a good, tasty soup nonetheless. For entree, I got the BLT with fries and my husband got the fried chicken sandwhich with their take on a Caesar salad. My sandwhich was great, toasty, buttery bread and lots of bacon. The aioli that comes with the fries is amaze! Also, the Caesar salad was very good, it was a bit spicy and had pistachios, very different but super yummy. Our server convinced me to get dessert and I was happy I did!! The toffee cake was decadent but light, not too dense, not too sweet. A great end to our meal! Overall, I'm glad we stopped by and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Very good, but not a very adventurous menu. While everything we had was delicious, it all felt a bit "safe." I worry that such a tame menu will be the downfall for this restaurant. Our server was Marcus, who was efficient, courteous and professional. I had the chicken marsala and my wife had the salmon. Again, both were very good - but neither were "great." Being the sister restaurant of one of our favorite places, (On Swann in Hyde Park), I sincerely hope they can break the mundanity.

Deborah C.

Yelp
What an unexpected surprise. We were tourist for a day and this is where we decided to have lunch. They had a lunch special that allowed me to try an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. The steak was perfectly prepared, the tomato soup flavorful and the peanut butter cheesecake was excellent. My husband and I ordered one cheesecake to share however, it was so good. I could've easily eaten one myself. It was the best cheesecake I've had in a very long time.

Yelp
The pork chop was delicious as well as the Brussels and the sauce on them. It's very pretty inside and quiet enough to enjoy a nice meal. Service was good and he was attentive and helpful with wines.

Yelp
Cure atmosphere in Tampa's Armature Works. Very industrial/modern vibe with some eclectic touches mixed in. Had dinner with my daughter there a couple of weeks ago for a mother/daughter shopping (for a wedding dress) weekend. We started with the Blue Crab & Beet Salad, which was so good and refreshing. Then had the Spanish Octopus, which was a little disappointing as the octopus was a bit chewy. We finished with a Prosciutto and Fig Pizza which was outstanding. We also both had a glass of very good red wine. The service was great- attentive and helpful. Had the octopus been tender, would have been 5 star!
google avatar

Regina M.

Yelp
We came to dinner at Oak and Ola last night. Our waiter, Marcus, was amazing. He was so passionate and caring about his job! He recommended the 'Arancini' appetizer which were fried risotto balls with taleggio, pear compote, basil pistou, and parmiagianno. It was salty and sweet, so delicious. We ordered their 'Gulf Fish Amadine' and 'Pork Tenderloin' for our entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, they were cooked perfectly and so flavorful. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere of Armature Works. This is a great spot for a nice lunch or dinner. The one negative, was the bathroom, for such a high end restaurant the restroom was dirty and unpleasant. I'd definitely recommend making sure it's consistently clean. Instagram: @living.with.reg

Yelp
This spot was FABULOUS! We were seated immediately-PLUS!!!! The vibe was definitely giving brunch. I tried something new and different and it was light and enjoyable. The mule didn't come in a copper mug, but was delicious. The big win-those brussel sprouts!! OMG! I'd go back just for those and a cocktail! GREAT TIME!!
google avatar

Anh T.

Yelp
One of the best Brussel Sprouts I've ever had. Crispy yet fresh & not drenched in sauce. I had it like a salad. The service is very fast & friendly. The restaurant is very clean & has a very nice view of downtown Tampa.
google avatar

Jaimee M.

Yelp
The ambiance here is lovely. The sofas were lovely and a nice touch all throughout the restaurant. We had the gulf shrimp as an appetizer and it was very good. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. For the entree we had the chicken Marsala and it was soooo good. The chicken was juicy but not the slimy nasty juicy lol. The sauce and polenta were also really good. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
Coming from a foodie this place is top notch! The service, the food, not to mention you get a beautiful skyline view of downtown Tampa! We had the mussels, creamy brussels sprouts and the meatballs for appetizers. I was so hungry and they were so good. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of them then we had the hanger steak and chicken Milanese for entrees. So good! Both were cooked TO Perfection! Can't wait to come back thank you for a great first time experience!!!
google avatar

Alison C.

Yelp
Yum yum yum!! We had a great experience at oak and ola. From the top notch service and recommendations, to each drink and bite of food we had. We started off with the Brussels sprouts which were a good shareable and decent size. Crispy and the sauce made the dish. I got the crab and beet salad as my entree. There is no greens in this salad--the beets are the base and crab on top. I absolutely loved this combination and is a very unique dish. If you like crab and beets, this is a must try! To drink I got a dirty martini and ended with an espresso martini. Both were delicious.
google avatar

Kristin C.

Yelp
Excellent meal and experience all around! Sat a table inside but loved the view from inside of downtown Tampa and the Armature Works lawn because the doors were open all the way. Server was great and he gave us tons of recommendations and detailed descriptions of the menu and his faves. All of his recommendations were spot on from the drinks, apps, and entrees. Loved it all and can't wait to come back for brunch!

Yelp
Eclectic, casual chic atmosphere Visually delightful Great service Sprouts, yes Lamb Bolognese, yes Chef Robert Irvine was at the table next to us.

Yelp
Vibes 10/10 Drinks 8/10 Food 4/10 Their menu is not impressive and food was so meh. Wasnt bad but wasnt great either. For the price, would not go back for the quality of food. Every food had something "missing" in them. Like the linguini alla vodka had tiny bite pieces of sausages (and very little amount too) and it looked like it couldve made at home (honestly better at home probably) Prosciutto fig pizza was mid too, crust was excellent but so little prosciutto per slice that it didnt have that wow effect. Im a huge yelper so not sure how this place has a good review but if you're a foodie, I would skip. Service was great.
google avatar

Kris S.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance for superior. We order the beet and crab salad which was fantastic. Also, we ordered the lobster rolls and fries. The best!!! Would recommend and will return for sure. The only complaint would be that it could use a bit more seasoning on the dishes. Just a tad bit bland.
google avatar

Sharday J.

Yelp
This restaurant was amazing! Nestled in a newer development in Tampa, the decor and ambiance offers a quaint, classic feel. The food and drinks were equally amazing and the service was exceptional.

Yelp
We came here for brunch and it exceeded our expectations! Apparently the chef has a James beard award and it clearly shows. Everything prepared was crafted perfectly. We got the Brussels sprouts, blt, chicken sandwich, Cesar salad and French onion soup. All was amazing! Zach was our waiter and he was very thorough and thoughtful.
google avatar

Yelp
We love this place for a great bite to eat after a show at the Straz! We had their special, Prosciutto & Fig pizza. It was delicious and the service was outstanding!

Yelp
Came here for Saturday brunch. I ordered the salmon hash brown which was really tasty but I wished the potato was a little crispier. My friend got the burger which tasted great but was lacking in presentation. I that's just being picky though I'd recommend them both. The spicy Bloody Mary was delicious and the view of the river was great. Our waitress was really sweet.

Yelp
We loved our experience here. I do recommend making a reservation on the weekends- we made one for an early dinner and it was still pretty busy. We loved the decor and vibe. Lots of different types of seating- tables, couches, indoor/outdoor, etc. Our server was great and really knew the menu. He had great recommendations. We ordered the braided lamb and pita, which was sooo good. It was a pretty good sized portion and very filling. We also ordered the Spanish meatballs, amandine, and white lamb bolognese. Everything was delicious. The manager, Vito (sp?), was very friendly. We loved our experience here and will definitely be back.

Yelp
WRITTEN BY A 12 YEAR OLD SON CELEBRATING FATHER'S DAY: "First of all, the experience is one to remember. I loved it and my dad loved it, and I got a heavenly sandwich my brother ate house made chips it was amazing. They have some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever tasted, the blue crab and beets was great - experience 10/10, the service was amazing 10/10 our server was frequently there and was very polite and overall amazing. The aesthetic was amazing, I love how you can see the kitchen with the food being made and how all the lights are all vibrant and warm. Overall 10/10 restaurant!"

Yelp
We love going to Armature Works despite having mixed experiences at some of the eateries. Not so with Oak & Ola. Their consistently great service, good food, and lovely surroundings never disappoint. We had company in town so we were there for the first time on a week day for lunch. After having been there before for dinner and weekend brunch, we were a little surprised at how limited the lunch menu was. But our server Michael (a true foodie!) made it a joy as he provided details on the preparation, flavor profiles, and history of each dish. We ordered the Roasted Olives for the table as an app. The roasting really changes the flavors of the olives and that was nice. Hubby and our guest enjoyed them but the fennel was a bit too heavy handed for me. Hubs and I had the BLT and at Michael's suggestion we added a fried egg. Yum. Our guest had the burger. Everything was great and came out exactly as described. We of course had to have the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake, because it is simply THE BEST dessert ever. But it was a special day so we opted to also try the Chocolate Mousse and the Basque Blackened Cheesecake. I neglected to take pix of dessert but I'll definitely better next time and post. The name "blackened" may scare some people off but it's more like a deep char. If you were one of those kids who liked their campfire marshmallows really dark then you'll love this one. O&O is becoming one of our favorites. The trek over the Bay to the city is totally worth it.

Yelp
What a perfect day for a celebration at Oak and Ola. First time here and it was a lot of fun. The location is perfect as it is right on the end of armature works which is the heart of this area and so much to see and do. Our server (I forgot his name) was very attentive to our party of 11. As afar as the food, we started with the zucchini bread and let me tell you it was the most delicious thing I've had in a long time (but not better than mine). Def a must order. My croissant BEC was tasty and hit the spot. Everyone else enjoyed their brunch dishes. Overall, very cute spot with some plush couches and modern decor. Thank you for hosting us.

Yelp
Aesthetic and vibe was beautiful and service was great, but the food... mediocre. Cheese board and meat board was delicious, the fries were a little dry. Drinks weren't bad but seemed to be missing something. For the main they were out of two different items, the burger being one (not sure how you're out of burgers at dinner time). Opted for the chicken Marsala instead; it was dry and the sauce on top gave it an undesirable flavor. The dessert I will say was delicious. Toffee cake with ice cream is a must have.

Yelp
Definitely will return. Very similar with Ulele: high ceiling, industrial, exposed brick walls, open kitchen; good service and pretty good food. Location: by the water Seatings: indoor and out Food: very good Service: very good, well trained We went at 5 when they just opened. When we left at 7, it was packed. We stayed a bit longer bec it was raining, and our concert didn't start till 8. We could have another toffee cake - it's that good. But didn't bec people are waiting. We've - charred sour dough bread - good - crab salad: wonderful - meat charcuterie - fine - special - fish amandine - good - special mezzaluna pasta - great - Spanish autopsy - yummy - warm toffee cake - to die for - chocolate tart - average Our server said his name is MJ. A handsome kid, better looking than Michael Jordan ... still love you Mike We shared a bottle of Meleto BTL Chianti. Nice stems. They left the cork on the table - Should they put it on a small plate? Big spoon for desserts Ok I'm a dinosaur They're on RESY and may charge $25 for no show

Yelp
Nice spot for a pre show meal at Armature Works. Funky atmosphere and furnishings. Ordered the steak frittes special and Chicken Milanese. Steak was cooked perfectly with a yummy butter topping and lots of frites. Chicken was pan fried crispy with a nice arugula salad and two sauces (a "green goddess" and a vinaigrette. Good service with lots of follow up. Only minus the glasses of wine were small for the price. But all in all a nice meal.

Yelp
Went for brunch today around 1:30pm. I ordered the croissant with cheese egg and bacon and potatoes as the side, delicious! Our server John was on point with refilling waters and making sure we were taken care of. Such a cute vibe inside and out:) I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Very cute ambiance, great service, food and cocktails were good. I went for a brunch date and would definitely go back when we're in the area. There is plenty of parking, and a very walkable area if you have the time to look around.

Yelp
The zucchini bread is SO TASTY! But the cocktails are top tier. We loved being able to sit in their outdoor area and still see what was going on at armature works. Great ambiance.

Yelp
Had a tasty dinner here at this cute spot located inside Armature works dining hall! Be sure to snag a reservation because they are busy during dinner time. My party of 7 was lucky to snag a reservation the day before. The appetizers we got for the table to share was the pita, meatballs, brussel sprouts, and porkbelly which I thought was enough. The meatballs and lamb pita were the best! The pork belly was nothing special. For my main, I chose the bolognese which was good and super filling. I got to try a bite of the chicken marsala and the sauce was super good! But don't expect traditional Indian chicken marsala - its more of an American take on it. My only complaint was that my table waited almost an hour for our main courses to arrive. The apps came out super quick so I don't know what happened. The server was apologetic and had the manager come and apologize to our table which was appreciated.
