Russian Banya of Dallas

For an authentic Russian banya experience, you can't get any closer to this place in the DFW metroplex. The service was great, the owner, Misha, was very helpful and accommodating, and locals who frequent here were very hospitable in educating me about the place and process. It felt like being welcomed into a close circle of friends. It is indeed very community-oriented beyond just a bathing or sauna experience. Bonus, the food was absolutely delicious! It is a co-ed and clothing optional facility, so, while you may be wrapped up in a towel, others may not be...and some (though few) may be in swimsuits. Bathing and sauna, in true European fashion, is generally done nude, so, one must evaluate their own comfort level and proceed accordingly. Though, I can say that everyone here is supportive, non-judgmental, and it's really about a community more than anything else. Robes and towels are provided. Bring shower slippers, relax, and have a great time amongst friends. I surely did and I highly recommend visiting the Russian Banya of Dallas.

Very delicious iconic Russian food, hospital professional service and heart warming atmosphere. 🥳 We enjoyed the visit, ALL meals were incredibly delicious and we also got some to go. 🎉 Three chefs know their job and cook very well! The interior reminded me a cute Soviet cafe or canteen, with some resembling touches, and definitely left a sweet recollection of that time. 🍽️ Our waitress Svetlana 💛 is incredibly hospitable, kind and charming, and due to her we decided to try more dishes than we planned, she created such warm hospitality and took care of us so well, so it felt like home! Svetlana conquered our hearts Besides the restaurant there is a traditional Russian Banya, and sauna, and hammam (a Turkish bath). A great place to relax both mind and body. 🛁🧼🫧 Will be back again to enjoy so unique festive authentic dishes of Russia. THANK YOU for your great hospitality and service! 👍

It was my first ever Russian Restaurant and the whole experience was amazing. The food was so delicious too. Definitely can't wait to go again.

We had an incredible time here with friends. Authentic Russian banya with professional «venik» steaming, wonderful aromatherapy, and a truly relaxing atmosphere — you leave feeling refreshed and renewed. The community here is amazing — warm, friendly, and welcoming. It really feels like a place where people come together, not just a spa. The restaurant deserves special mention: delicious homemade comfort food that perfectly complements the banya experience. Huge thank you to the entire staff for their hospitality, care, and attention to detail. Everything was thoughtful and genuine. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

The shuba, the colorful circular item in the picture was excellent. It’s a herring salad, layered with beets, potatoes, and other items. I’ve had it in numerous restaurants, but this was one of the best. Having dined in Brighton Beach section of New York City, we are no strangers to Russian food. This restaurant in the Dallas suburbs certainly has food on par with the best I’ve eaten in. There is a reasonable selection and the food was fresh. Service was quick. Definitely worth dining in. Give it a try!

I went here visiting Dallas for a couple of weeks and bought their pass to visit multiple times. It is VERY worth it. The sauanas are large with many options. You can add other services like aromatherapy (free) or massage. The food here was actually delicious and the staff was prompt and attentive. It was really a great experience and prompted me to visit Banyas in my own city back home

Absolutely loved getting to try authentic Russian food! They were very courteous and polite. They do warn on the site that the food will take awhile as it is made-to-order but it is well worth the wait. I loved getting to hear the language being spoken around me and the rye bread while you waited was delicious. A nice spiced and hefty flavor paired with butter. The shuba was really good! I enjoyed the salty and juicy herring under the mayoed veggies and the egg on top pairs well with the rest! The soleniya plate was very good as well! All the delicious pickled veggies were so unique to each other in flavor. I was partial to the pickled garlic, carrots, and mushrooms. The beef pelmeni was fresh and delicious as well! The dough wasn't too thick and the meat mixture was beefy and salty and they tasted great with the dill sprinkled on top and a bit of sour cream on top as well. I finished it all off with blinchiki with cottage cheese that also came with honey spots and fruit spots on the plate to sop up with the blini. The cottage cheese filling was warm, gooey, cheesy and sweet! Top it with some of the fruit and sour cream and it is just 🤌🏽. I also got the recommended cake as well. I believe he said it had honey on the inside. It paired really good with the strawberries it was topped with! It was like a honey filled strawberry shortcake. Delicious! I'm definitely swinging by again if I'm back in town on business. I would like to experience the banya as well at some point!

This place is fantastic! Great saunas and cold plunge. Very tasty food as well. It has it's own community and the people there are very nice.

This restaurant has been on my radar for quite sometime since seeing it on social media! We finally had a great opportunity to give it a try since my brother's girlfriend is Russian and also wanted to come here! We went to Russian Banya on Thanksgiving Day (2025). They were serving traditional American Thanksgiving dishes as well as their normal dinner menu. We decided to try their normal menu, family style. We had a feast! Borscht (5/5): It was a cool evening, and this dish really warmed me up! The dish was delicious, and very flavorful. We ordered 1 order and split it between the 4 of us. Pilaf (5/5): The beef and fried rice was really good. The beef was tender, and the rice was flavorful. Beef stroganoff (5/5): This was my second favorite dish after borscht. The beef and potatoes were doused in a hearty gravy. For dessert, we ordered the honey cake and the napoleon cake to share between the 4 of us. The cakes were very generously portioned, and were enough to share. I loved the honey cake! It was soft, not too sweet, and a delight! For my beverage, I had the glass of mixed berry mors. I loved it so much that I ordered a full container! I took the remainder home with me. We did not try their banya (bath/sauna), but maybe next time!! The people in the banya on the other side must have been ordering beer and food because we saw the staff running back and forth between the kitchen and the banya with drinks and food! The service was spectacular, an everyone was so friendly! The restaurant is a homey mom and pop stop. There were a handful of tables.

All the food here was for the most part satisfactory. The service was really good. We ended up here with our tour guide and ordered a lot of food. The juices we ordered were all great too. Princesses here are actually top notch for their quality and portion. Definitely will come back to try more of the menu.

Ever since all Russian food options closed in Austin, I take any opportunity to enjoy it elsewhere. I've had this spot on my radar for a while but I didn't have a reason to come to Dallas in a while. Since we were in town for the thanksgiving, we went here for dinner. We ordered family style so everyone could try different things. Shuba salad - [5/5] super authentic and very nostalgic flavor. Proceed with caution if you are not familiar with pickled fish though. It is a very fishy and hearty holiday salad. Borsht - [5/5] although not as fatty as I normally make it at home, it was still a great soup. I appreciate the fact that there was no celery in it and that it wasn't overly sweet (some places add a bit too much sugar). It goes with some dark rye (?) bread. Also the portion is HUGE. The picture shows only a half of it as our server kindly suggested to split it into two plates when we told her our party shares everything. Plov (pilaf) - [4/5] a solid plov but just a little dry to my taste and I personally prefer it with lamb because that's how my dad would normally make it. Still a great dish worth trying! Pelmeni (dumplings) - [5/5] we had Siberian ones. I'm not sure if they're house made or purchased but they were really good. I ordered brothy option for the table to make sure they're juicy and stay warm while we have other food. Shashlik - [5/5] we ordered pork option with buckwheat. Normally we would not get it with buckwheat, but wanted the rest of the party to try it as well. They serve it with cholula on side which was an interesting twist. I really would never think of combining the two. The meat was well seasoned and juicy! Beef stroganoff - [-] I don't have a rating because I was too full by the time it hit the table, but everyone else ended it and it looked really good! Napoleon cake - [5/5] it's a classic: flaky, sweet, creamy. If you're have a sweet tooth, this is for you for sure! Honey Cake - [6/5] this is my all time favorite desert. It was not too sweet and biscuit was not dry and flavorful. My boyfriend and I had beers while his family had berry drinks: kompot and mors. Mors was the most enjoyed since they got a whole carton of it after just getting a glass. We didn't do banya this time but when we peeked it looked like people had a blast there lol Overall, a very authentic experience and I would most definitely love to come back when in town!

Did not really know what to expect from this restaurant as I haven't really had authentic Russian food before. After this meal, though, I'll certainly come back. We came as a group of 4 which was great because we could order a bunch of things and share all of it, meaning I got to try various specialties. We also had a bit of a cheat code (a Russian person) with us, to help choose all the best things from the menu. We had borscht, herring salad, Siberian dumplings, kebab pork, beef stroganoff, and beef pilaf (fried rice), and don't forget the desserts - the Neapolitan cake and the honey cake. Also had some cherry kompot and some mors (berry juice). Everything was great! For me, the standouts were the borscht and the honey cake. Prices were reasonable for our feast. The service was very friendly and happy to recommend things for us to try as well. The food came out quickly and we emptied the plates even quicker. Without having much to compare this to, I'd give this 5 stars. But don't just trust my opinion. The Russian in our group agreed it was delicious, so take that for what it's worth. Did not go to the bathroom house part of the building, but it did look busy over there. Give it a try!

This is for the restaurant and not the spa. I've seen this place ever since I moved here like 9 years ago, and ironically I just moved to another state. Thankfully, we went to eat here. I am a fan of it and glad. The service was great, and I feel like I offended them by not eating all of my Kvas. I just wanted a breath of freshness from this soup before the meal itself. We had the blacktea soda, I'm not going to try to pronounce it on this. It was fantastic and not too sweet. Same for the cherry drink. As for food itself. Let's talk about it. I had the serbian dumplings, and OMG it was amazing. Delicious. Make with love, butter, butter, and butter. My wife had the chicken cutlets and mash potatoes, which again. amazing. They made some absolutely amazing food, and her friend had the "French onion" rendition of the soup. It's such a nice place to enjoy our last meal before leaving the state. I'm glad we did. This is totally different than your typical place btw. Just enjoy, drink, and enjoy your company.

Going for a taste of dishes I grew up on and they didn't miss here. The restaurant has late or later hours, maybe to cater to the bathhouse, so they are a convenient stop. More of a "ballroom" type restaurant but has a small bar and good menu choices. Was eager to try the golubsti, the cabbage just melts in your mouth, I would have been good doing to orders of these they were so good. The varenyky are small dumplings so bite sized goodness. They are very friendly and accommodating even for later visits. Must stop by if you're searching for traditional dishes!

Volga Restaurant (inside this establishment) was a delicious find. I ordered the stuffed cabbage (and a plate of pickled veggies): all of it was delicious. And wait was not long for it all.

When I arrived I was the only customer in the place. I was immediately seated, brought water and a menu. I assume it was European-style service because the server did not come to check on me or take my order, I had to go get her. The food is legit and very tasty. After a while a few other people came in to eat. My kids loved the experience. I would go back.

Love this banya, very welcoming and clean. Take a plunge in the 45 degree ice bath after the 190 degree sauna. Add on a platza treatment and you'll be golden! A broom made of oak or birch leaves is used to bring more heat to the body. This helps thoroughly detox the body, improve circulation, cleans your blood, and boosts your health. There is also a lovely steam room and relaxation room. If you're feeling like a massage, definitely get the hour. That was the best massage I've had in a long time! You can also couple the massage with a body scrub to exfoliate. Once you are ready to relax, sit down in the community dining area to enjoy a variety of hot soups and Russian delicacies. This is the perfect date idea, or a wonderful getaway for the day. You will feel right at home with the great treatment they provide!

It is an absolutely great place, definitely a must stop in Dallas! The sauna and steam room were so clean. The service was awesome. The food especially pelimeny (dumplings), herring and pickles were so delicious. Everybody was so friendly, we felt like home. Thank you for the great hospitality!

The place is dated yes, it could be cleaner..yes. Bit the food, the customer service and the plunge have no price. We love the customer service and the food os always fresh. Do not listen to the negativity concentrate on the positives. The Napoleon Cake is WOW!

Excellent food, takes some time to prepare which they let u know I'm advance but well worth the wait We enjoyed all the food including the honey cake made in-house. Very friendly people and great service. Can't wait to come back and try out rest of the menu

The best banya in Texas, it doesn't get better than this. Our every experience in the "Russian Banya" is very pleasant and enjoyable. It has this specific Slavic vibe to it and I absolutely love it because it reminds me of home. The staff is very loving and helpful. The banya itself is pretty big, it can fit many people and it doesn't get too crowded. And banya temperature gets really hot, especially if you splash water on the rocks - your gym sauna doesn't even stand near. There is aroma therapy every day and the owner Misha makes it truly unforgettable. The cold plunge is COLD, not for the weak. Decent 45F (6C) water temperature makes you see what you're made of. The price is you pay $70 + tip and you can go for the entire week for as much time as you want, in my opinion, it's 100% worth it. If you get a monthly or yearly membership then it's cheaper. They also have additional massage services, venik, and you can buy a banya hat :) There is a delicious Slavic cuisine restaurant and the food really reminds me of my grandma's. Make sure you don't skip dessert :) As a Ukrainian, it makes me very happy that "Russian Banya" stands with Ukraine and I will gladly bring my friends here and come back again. Thank you!

The ambiance is quiet and formal. The service is quick except for the pilaf/plov that I ordered which was put on the table almost 30 mins after when I was almost done eating other food that I ordered like borscht soup and shurpa (herring with fur coat salad) which were both delicious. My husband ordered beef stroganoff which he said is really good. The pilaf/plov compared to other restaurants where I ordered the same dish, the one from Russian Banya is not greasy. Its decent but needs more flavor. The kompot has so many real cherries and sweet but tart.

The atmosphere and the people. I loved the hospitality and the people their were very friendly, i love the fact that it is coed as well, I'm definitely going back.

I met met my family for a dinner at Restaurant Volga (the restaurant inside Russian Banya) when were in Dallas for an overnight layover at DFW, and we had a great meal. We started with a few shots of Stoli and then shared several plates of food: Shuba (also called "Herring Under Fur Coat," a layered dish of pickled herring, vegetables - usually beets, carrots, and potatoes, grated hardboiled eggs, mayo...), Beef Stroganoff, Golubtsi (stuffed cabbage), Siberian pelmeni (dumplings), cheburek, blinkchiki with salmon roe, and honey cake! Everything was really good (I only wish that the blinchiki had a little cream or butter or something else in them; the crepes and roe by themselves weren't my favorite preparation). Shuba usually isn't everyone's cup of tea, but my entire family enjoyed it. The food overall was very good. The service was great. The restaurant has pretty standard banquet hall vibes, but it was comfortable. If you like Russian food, definitely check it out!

This is only regarding the restaurant, not the spa/sauna. Walking in this place I was a bit worried, we were the only customers in the restaurant and the decor is pretty outdated looking. However (and keep in mind this is having no point of reference for russian food as this is the first time i've ever tried it) i was extremely pleasantly surprised! Everything my party ordered was very good and didn't take too long to come out. The cook even came out to speak to us as we were paying to make sure we liked everything. Overall i was very happy with the experience and would definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing place! From dumplings, soups, cutlets all of the food is amazing. Also the spa area is just one of a kind place. I've been to other spas in the DFW area and none hold on to the culture and atmosphere that this place nails. Not to mention that staff and service of this establishment is beyond encouraging for return visits.

The place was kinda quiet and seemed like a lunch spot more than a dinner place. Beef stroganoff was really good. The potato's were good too, but a bit oily. Beef Dumplings were good but I don't think o would order them again!

We tried the restaurant only and the food were all pretty good. We had everything the server recommended like the Cabbage Rolls (my favorite), Chicken Cutlet, Chicken and Pork Dumplings (cute and tiny), fried beef dish, and honey pepper Vodka. We'll have to go back for the spa and see what that's all about. They offer discounts on your birthday and if you bring friends. Apparently, they have all nude days on the second Wednesday of the month.

We celebrated my fathers 80th birthday at the Russian Banya. We called a few days before, set up a sample menu, ordered a honey cake and put down a deposit. We were a small party of 8. I expected a couple menu items for everyone to sample and get a feel for the food. This place BLEW AWAY our expectations! The table was so beautifully set, the food was elegant and abundant! They made my dads special day feel SO SPECIAL. The food and service was over the top delicious. I highly recommend the shuba salad and the blintz & roe. The honey cake was the best cake I've ever had. I will be dreaming of that cake for years!

This is a great place and truly a one of a kind place, or at least we have never heard of a place like it. We didn't know very much about Russian cuisine and just had a few different things. I should have written down the names, but unfortunately I didn't. The service was amazing and friendly and they helped recommend some dishes. We were happy with everything we tried and thought it was really great food. The sauna side is very fun. It would be a good place to go with a medium sized group, so different people spend different amounts of time in the saunas. Very cool place. We recommend it.

Amazing experience, real traditional spa and authentic old world cuisine, comforts and relaxation across the whole space. We enjoyed the banya with 5 people. The areas are large and can fit many, with various styles of heat and cold plunge experience. A space in the dining area to share great food and meet people. The food was amazing the owners used his family's old recipes and a Ukrainian chef provided an assortment of delicacy's. Michael the owner made every moment comfortable and welcoming. Many in our party were first timers but now diehard fans!!! To the BANYA!!! we will be visiting from Houston more often since this is the only BANYA in Texas! Thank you so much for the hospitality, see you next time. It's also under NEW ownership so don't pay much attention to the negative reviews from years past!!

My wife and I came all the way from DC to go here, and we plan on going back as soon as we can! That's how good this place is. More than that, the people there are fantastic and super welcoming to newcomers. Make sure to get a massage from Azat while you're there too - he'll make sure to get out all the back cracks you ever want!

Misha the owner made our first time visit so welcoming. Charming and colorful space. Nice staging area for a party. The food was beyond fresh and delicious. Homemade not frozen is their niche for presenting tasty food. We had rye bread, pickle plate, shuba- herring salad, chicken pel meni, pork medallions w mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. If you have never tried their food, step out and try! It was all surprisingly good. We had to take our food home. The portions are generous. We topped our dinner w mishas tea, thyme, sage and raspberry tea. Wonderful! Sadly no dessert but we were too full anyway. After dinner, Misha was gracious to give us a tour of the banya (sauna). 3 types: infrared 200f, steam sauna, and ice bath 45f. All so interesting and would be fun for a girls weekend.

Oh my Gosh food is amazing, great atmosphere here and music soooo cool. Will definitely come again and again. Today was my first time since I moved to Texas and my expectations was more that good. Thank you all stuff who was working with us today, we had a great and safe event with girls.

My husband and I came here hoping to find some authentic Russian food and BOY IS THIS THE SPOT!! We felt like kids again with the home styled cooking and great service. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. We had the Cabbage Rolls which almost made me cry they were so good and we each got a bowl of Borscht which was AMAZING!! The price was great for the quality and quantity food provided! We loved it here!

Amazing place fool of Surprises ! Food is great, borscht, crepes, pelmeni, fish soup, cabbage rolls...and more . Pechka/Burning wood stove , banya on another side of the restaurant saunas, where you can relax and experience real Russian banya.

What a great find RUSSIAN BANYA for visitors and should be a go-to for DFW locals. Looked up 'Ethnic restaurants' and learned there is a traditional Russian and Ukrainian restaurant very centrally located in city of Carrollton next to major George Bush highway. Usually we may look to Indian, Thai, French, Latin, etc. So now we have found Russian Banya DFW. Well prepared, cooked to order, reasonably priced food unique recipes served 2 x days. You are also offered the opportunity to enjoy time in the steam room, heated by the firebox of traditional Russian stove on the real wood and jump into the ice hole after that. Just exotic! We saw so many other delicious sounding Russian dishes that appear on their lunch and dinner menu that we were excited to try. Skip to chain restaurants and step outside the norm a little to enjoy food prepared by chefs from other cultures!

We went to the Banya to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was wonderful. New owners have made some very nice improvements, it was completely relaxing and the food was delicious. There was complimentary fruit and water while we decided what to order. The new owners also surprised us with a nice presentation of a complimentary bottle of champagne and a rose! we love this place and will definitely go back as often as we can. Stumbled upon this place on Groupon. A Russian spa with a restaurant? I wasn't convinced but the reviews looked good and more importantly the menu had properly marked vegetarian items so went ahead and bought a $30 for $18 deal. While we were there, we found out that they were featured on Andrew Zimmern's show, Bizzare food Dallas edition and when I later checked it out, found out that the spa and restaurant experience made it to Top 1 on his list! Am no expert in Eastern European cuisine but in my experience the ingredients that go into their vegetarian dishes are simple. There is not one ingredient that overpowers the other but they all complement each other well and that's the beauty of it. The flavors of all the ingredients come through. Well, when we went in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, we were the only ones at the restaurant. We got complimentary bread and butter. We ordered a couple of things. Pirozhki, we got the one with cabbage. It is a stuffed bun, we ate it with butter and it was good! Stuffed eggplant - served cold, it is absolutely delicious. Creamy from the eggplants and cheese, nutty from the walnuts and a hint of spice from the garlic. I would definitely order it again. Vareniki/pierogy, we chose potato as the filling. The dumplings were topped with fried onion and dillweed. Sour cream on the side. Simple and delicious. The onion and dill really gave it great flavor. Cheese blintz. More like a dessert, served with sour cream. We ordered honey cake for dessert and we were told that it was just made and couldn't be eaten right away but could be taken home. They asked if we wanted to order something else instead but who wouldn't want something that's just been made? I was confused why it was ready enough to be taken home but not eaten right there? Russian honey cake was new to me you see. The layers aren't exactly cake. They are more like crackers, dough, rolled and baked and hence it needs some time for the icing to moisten the layers. The layers were still crunchy when we got home so I rested it a while longer and it was nice and soft and tasted great! Service was friendly and food was out in a reasonable amount of time, but it wasn't a busy day. I would definitely go back.

My husband and I went to the restaurant for the first time Saturday and loved it. The people there were so nice. It was also our first time eating Russian food and our waiter was so helpful in assisting us on what to try. We haven't been to the baths but will definitely be going back to the restaurant.

The Russian Banya Restaurant was, as we expected, totally out of our comfort zone except for the universal and beloved dumpling. Fortunately, there is a beautifully photographed and clearly defined menu at the Russian Banya. Our waitress, Marina, was doing triple duty at 1 in the afternoon; seating and waiting on restaurant diners, settling in the banya customers and doing some kitchen time, as well. I know she tried not to make us feel rushed; but it was unavoidable. The unfamiliarity of the food slowed down the tempo on its own, anyway, and we started with soup. From there it was a roll out of Russian, Georgian, Uzbeck and Central Asia foods familiar to modern day Russians and immigrants. We ordered lunch food, street food, party food, and food that would you would eat relaxing in the Banya spa on the other side. They have more elegant dinner entrees, as well. We had soup, salads, bread, hand held turnovers, three kinds of dumplings and a cold eggplant roll up appetizer all while wading through unfamiliar names with gorgeous pictures and detailed enticing descriptions. We debated over cabbage rolls and kebabs and beaucoup other appetizers and entrees before making up our minds. Believe me, it's a heckuva menu. A $60 in value Groupon went a long way with this modestly priced menu and we ended up ordering an Uzbecki baklava and a beautiful Napoleon to even meet our tab. I have photos and labels for the food. The borsch was solid comfort food. The unusual tangy solyanka had mushrooms, salami strips, potatoes, capers, olives, beef and something different landed in your spoon every time. Supposedly it's Angela Merkel's favorite as the Germans love it, too. My husband and I switched soups midway to try them both and the borsch was my favorite; the solyanka his. A Russian brown bread was served with the meal. She couldn't say what to name it in English. Marina's English was certainly good; but we all lacked some nuance and so we needed to follow up ordering comprehension. The salad sampler allows choice of two between four salads. I liked both the Russian chicken (Olivia) and root vegetable (Vinegret); but would order all beet root vegetable with cabbage if we come again. Delicious! I understand Andrew Zimmern blew through here with a Dallas Bizarre Foods program and a trip over to the Banya side. It's worth saying that for $25 you can kick back in there all day if you want. It's set up with a cold plunge, dry sauna room, steam room and the Russian Banya steam room. The ladies room had lockers, showers and a large dressing area with mirrors. They provide towels and flip flops. There's booths with tables and tables and chairs in a cafe like setting over there, too, for spa goers who want to order from the menu! Or have a round of beer. So back to the restaurant, the three different varieties dumplings platter was either meat or potato, were all seasoned differently and served in broth or butter with sour cream on the side. Beautifully presented and unctuous. Definitely delicious. The Cheburek deep fried pastry turnover was huge with a large cavern of empty space in the fried shell. I put that Vinegret veggie salad in there and Yum! Was that a Russian thing to do? It didn't seem to matter to Marina. A strong garlicky relish came with the meal, also, and I used some of that, too! She said people used it on anything!! We took the Uzbeck Samsa home and have yet to eat it. The eggplant/walnut roll up was not a hit with us cold. Bitter and texturally weird, I took it home to bake it. The baklava and Napoleon went home, too, and were heavenly. We would try dinner entrees, now, if we return and I hope we do. In the end, things settled down for Marina and we had a relaxed chat about the Banya and the restaurant. I was impressed with the cleanliness given the breadth of the enterprise and overall it was a fascinating look at another culture's way to live, to chill out and pamper yourself. Massage is available by appointment and they will see that you eat well, too. Priyatnogo appetita! Or bon appetit in Russian!

This was a wonderfully pleasant experience! More vegetarian food options would have been ideal but all the food we did have was very enjoyable. Loved the Misha tea! Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I just went for the food. The food was excellent, but the language barrier was a bit of a problem. There was some confusion when ordering. I have specific allergies, so I was asking if 1 of the dishes contained pork and chicken or just pork or chicken. I'm allergic to pork, so I was trying to get the waiter to understand that. A little back and forth, but I know they just opened back up, so I'm not going to fault them on that. We got the beef stroganoff, borscht, potato dumplings, and smoked salmon crepe, all delicious. Next time, we'll definitely try out the banya part as well.

I fortunate enough to be invite by the owner, Michael. First class customer service. Remodel locker room, dry sauna, and steam room. Great place for a relax weekend. First class service by the owner it self.

Best authentic Russian and Ukrainian food in Dallas ! Well kept, clean, specious and lit.

Restaurant review. In short, a little bit of food, artfully arranged. Quite expensive for what I got. Saw that strogonoff was a recent addition to the menu. Really? From what I knew it was a traditional Russian dish. It came in a very small portion. Hard to tell what was in it besides beef, sour cream, onion & mushroom. Everything was cut quite small. This helped because the meat was quite tough. The good solution is to cook tough but flavorful meat a long time at a low temperature. That clearly didn't happen here. Meal came with white and brown bread, maybe a rye, with a generous portion, perhaps 2 tablespoons of butter. Also mashed potatoes, perhaps Yukons as they were yellow. A bed of noodles is the traditional way to serve strogonoff. Bliniki for dessert was good. Two warm crepes filled with a cheese similar to ricotta with some berries. Very tasty. Frankly I make a better strogonoff so I won't get that again.

Ok I normally do not give 5 stars as there is always something just 1 thing that is off. Well not tonight this little gem deserves all 5 stars and actually a 6th. The waiter we had was bend over backwards nice and helpful. He explained everything and let me tell you between the 4 of us we tried to try Banya tea ..so good.. tried to buy it to take home but was denied . The cheese dumplings, marinated herring and beets, borscht, Russian salad, beef stroganoff, pork medallions, yes we had a lot of food and NOTHING, was bad it was all AMAZING!!! Needless to say we will be going back. Of you want mouth watering, amazing home cooked family recipe food for a very reasonable price you MUST go here to eat. I can't say enough good things about this place. Kudos Russian Banya you are a winner you will see us again.

Fantastic experience, the food was amazing, and such a unique venue! I love that we saw the Banya, had a full meal there including Chicken Kiev and the honey cake! Delicious and great service! We will definitely be back!

This review is for the restaurant side. I have not tried the banya. I haven't had much Russian food before but I thought this place was pretty great. I tried the borscht, cabbage rolls (golubsi), vareniki and beef tongue. All were delicious. On the authenticity factor, I heard some Russian being spoken and there were multiple tables with Russian speakers so I am inclined to believe that this place is authentic enough. Service was attentive. The owners were also really nice. I couldn't make up my mind on dessert so the owner even cut me a piece of the sour cream cake to try. I thought it was delicious. I ended up getting the Kiev Cake since I never had it before and I thought it was really good too. Will definitely come back again.

Wow! This place is amazing! It is under new ownership and the food is beyond good. My daughter and I were so impressed. Creative food with amazing flavors. I can't wait to go back
