My husband and I had an outstanding experience at La Cocina de Titi Rest.. Latin Cuisine. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the quality of the food truly stands out. The La Gozalandia Trifongo with shrimp and chicken was expertly prepared with rich, authentic flavors, and the La Tiguerita de Gladys Mamposteado was cooked to perfection. The fresh passion fruit juice was refreshing and complemented the meal beautifully, and a cup wine. The owners demonstrate excellent professionalism and hospitality, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining environment. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking authentic, high-quality Latin cuisine.”

West Side Bazaar is basically an international food court that is made up of small business owners from all over the world trying to build up their brand and customer bases. While the majority of the vendors are restauranteurs, there are also other vendors well including clothing and beauty. The space is clean and well maintained with a moderate amount of seating. Regarding the restaurants, they're excellent. You can tell that each food vendor takes their craft seriously as they push out fresh and delicious dishes. The standouts for me include Malkia & Co African Gourmet, which serves homestyle yet high end Congolese food. Their version of dumplings/empanadas/samosas are delicious. Chef Malkia is kind, professional and polite. Chef Big Wayne Jamaican Cuisine is also really really good. Their customer service and wait times can be a little hit or miss, but their oxtails are some of the best I have ever had anywhere, including in Jamaica. In short, West Side Bazaar is definitely a hidden gem with a worthy mission. Totally worth making a part of the regular visit rotation!

Not a bad food court. You might find it not "bustling" enough but I don't mind it at all. Clean, quiet & inviting environment that offers different ethnic food options. I usually come here when I have a longer lunch break. I go to the Thai place, order a quick bite, sit down and chill for a bit afterwards. The community cafe is definitely a neat idea. (Parking by donation across the street)

Had the Ntaba (grilled goat) and it was really good. Tasted amazing. Be careful of the few bones. It was the first time I had goat. Great place all around and so much great food from all the food offerings.

I stopped by to bust Nathalie at Malkia & Co. that served authentic 🇨🇩 Congolese Cuisine. The chicken was amazing with rice and beans 🫘 The chocolate mousse was very good. everything was good 👍🏾 I would highly recommend. There's other business inside to patronize, so check it out. The ginger 🫚 drink was some of the best that I've had. Be careful of the hot sauce. It's seriously hot 🔥 One Thai is very good and the Cookie Jar's told me I would be back after trying her chicken, she's wasn't lying 😋

This is a neat little food hall with multiple tasty cuisines. There is Afghan, Jamaican, Egyptian, Korean, Congolese, Soul Food, Chinese, and cookies (dessert). We got the Afghan and Congolese which were both delicious and well worth it. The photo is the Congolese Poulet Braise (braised chicken).

This place is awesome! I ordered for the first time from Egyptian Bites and BigWayne's Jamaican Cuisine. Both did not disappoint. The owners of each shop are so friendly and their food/portions are so worth the price. The space to eat is also lovely! So many options.

This place is incredible! So many different types of food that can be hard to find. I HIGHLY recommend Malkia & Co Congolese food, specifically the Poulet Braisé (Chicken), it may just be the best chicken I’ve ever had, plus the potatoes and plantains were amazing. We also had Afghani food which was so good as well! Will definitely be back.

There is a Jamacain spot inside the west side bazaar that the chili is so great. I also had curry chicken patty with it that was amazing.

My Palestinian dad and his brother came to America from Jerusalem in 1954. Later, other members of my family arrived, including my grandmother, who lived with us until she passed. They all (except for "Teta") became US citizens, and my father wanted all-American kids, yet despite the family's embrace of American culture, I was exposed at home to an uncommon language and to a way of life that was different from our neighbors', and so, I grew up unafraid of immigrants, and interested in their difference. ********** I was excited and intrigued when, in 2016, Yelp Buffalo's then-Community Manager, Alex L., agreed to meet me for lunch at the city's West Side Bazaar. [n.b. We dined at the Bazaar's old location, 25 Grant St., some years before the current site was opened] Why "excited?" I love the experience of eating. I enjoy the sensory gratification I get from new combinations of flavors and textures - the less predictable, the better - and I love food that comes with a historical or personal narrative. Being fed by an eclectic group of cooks promised all of that. San Diego has a ton of Chinese and Thai food, so when we visited the Bazaar, I instead chose unfamiliar (and superb) dishes from Burmese and Ethiopian kitchens. Neither of those vendors still operate at the Bazaar; were I to return, I'd head straight for the Congolese and Malaysian stalls. I was intrigued because, in my life, I've patronized businesses owned by people of myriad ethnicities, but until then, I'd never seen so many of them grouped in one place, at least not with a permanent roof over their heads. These were going concerns, not tables at a fair, and I wondered, going in, whether I might be taken for a cultural tourist, indulging my curiosity at the expense of the vendors' dignity, despite my sincere interest in them and their offerings. But the welcome I received from one place to the next allayed my concern. Some vendors seemed flattered at my enthusiasm for their cuisine and my interest in their history and culture. Most didn't seem to care why I was there; I gathered that it was enough that I spent money, and that I not be evil, which I thought fair enough. ********** Rather than heap praise on the Bazaar's founder, the Westminster Economic Development Initiative (WEDI), I encourage you to visit their website and read about their many good works. Wow! We had the opportunity to visit the new location of the West Side Baazar. I already knew about the great selection of food. Now they have this shiny new place for you to enjoy the food. The original location was 'cozy'. Here, there's plenty of seating upstairs and down. There's an elevator for anyone who doesn't want to take the stairs. On this visit, I had pho xao from Bamboo Ridge. Very tasty and a huge portion. I had more than enough for dinner the next day. Can't wait to go back & visit the other vendors. Besides street parking, there's a small parking lot next to the building plus a larger lot across the street. 2024-44

Attended a special event where we had an opportunity to sample food from some of the vendors. We decided to buy full dinners. I purchased one of the vendor's daily special, Sesame Chicken. It was delicious. The building is a great open, bright and inviting space with pleanty of seating and an elevator, if needed, to go to the second floor where there are more vendor sand additional table seating. There is a good selection of food, dessert and drink vendors. There is something for everone. There is also pleanty of free parking across the street. We will definately be returning to try other menu items.

I love the concept and creating an opportunity for small restaurant owners. I arrived Thursday evening before 6:30. Parking is available by the building. There were different stalls open and I wasn't sure which one to try. I was tempted by the different cuisines and wished there were smaller dishes each offered to create my own collection. Alas, I landed on a haddock poisson from Malkia & Co. The food was made with care, the haddock cooked well and spinach very flavorful. The plantains offered a hint of sweetness as the starch. It was a lot of food and delightful. There's plenty of seating, with the upstairs providing more seating and home to a bookstore focused on food. I'll check it out again next time I'm in.

I have been to the Westside Bazaar a couple of times, but tonight I was able to have tasters from several businesses as opposed to picking one main course from one vendor. The tasters offered were:Falafel with tahini, beef dumplings, jerk chicken wings, chicken potsticker dumplings, and hummus with pita bread. By far my favorite were the jerk chicken wings; they were juicy with a spicy coating. I did enjoy all of the other tasters. The hummus had a little pizzaz/spiciness. The beef dumplings had a lovely crunch. I was also happy to see that the Bazaar has arranged for a parking lot across the street from the building. It was hard to find an on the street parking space in the past. There is a bike lane and the street is a major bus route. Thank you, Brandon, for arranging this outing with some of the Westside Bazaar vendors.

The Westside bazaar is in a mall-like setup with multiple food stalls. It was very clean and inviting. I enjoy the downtown bazaar on Main St. as well. The samples provided were so tasty. The jerk wings and meat pie from the Jamaican restaurant brought me back to the island. All I needed was rum punch to wash it down! I want to try the oxtail and banana rum cake when we go back. The hummus and falafel from the Egyptian restaurant were so good. I love the smoked paprika flavor in the hummus, and the falafel was moist in the middle and crunchy on the outside. I really enjoyed the consistency of Fava beans in the falafel instead of chickpeas. The flavor was a bit more coriander forward than cumin, and I enjoyed that a lot. Tahini sauce on top was perfect. I ended up buying falafel and hummus to take home to make a pita wrap for lunch! The dumplings, both beef and chicken, were very good, although I prefer steamed instead of deep fried. Dumplings are always a great choice in most places. I can't wait to go back to sample more food, like the chicken shawarma wrap!

Get the Global Experience all in one place. Malaysian, Congolese, Korean, Jamaican, Egyptian, Classic American Soul food. Plus a wine & beer bar and a bubble tea & smoothie place. What a tough choice: ribs vs. Kim chi vs. crab cakes vs. so much more!! We chose spring rolls, veggie stir fry, and a noodle dish from Malaysia. Everything was DELISH!!! A tall hot $1.95 jasmine tea with honey (steeped from the loose leaves to perfection). And a $25 happy hour bottle of wine to finish here (or take home...). Then there's dessert choices: beignets (10 for $6.50!) or baklava or kunafa or rum cake (oh my!). Warm powdered beignets made their way to our table and disappeared quickly. We chose our table on the main floor near the food counters, then we realized there is sweet balcony seating all open to a bright skylight above it all. Casual, very reasonably priced, simple ingredients and menu items, definitely a place for culinary treats. Music is piped in but has a familiar but appropriately cultural feel. You might even catch the workers dancing! Get here yourself and you'll see what I mean.

Updated review 12/11/2023. This is the third time I am reviewing the West Side Bazaar! The first time was several years ago. The second time was 2 1/2 years ago in 2021 during the COVID pandemic. Now this third review is of this fantastic ethnic food eatery in it's new home on Niagara Street. Yay! I believe they open just a few weeks ago at the Niagara Street address. Lucky for us Buffalonians! From what I could see, the Bazaar still has a wonderful assortment of ethnic cuisine around the world. Egyptian and Italian are newer additions which were not at the old location. The Bazaar is still a run by refugees from several countries. It helps them to introduce us to their fantastic cuisine, and they find a way to support themselves financially and expose us to their culture. A win-win! The new Bazaar environment is a larger, more spacious, "food court" type of atmosphere. You can order from variety of food stalls- Malaysian, Burmese, Japanese, etc. It is still self-serve. Many were ordering for takeout. I did see a bookstore on the second level where my girlfriends and I were sitting. We did not have time to go in for a browse. There appear to be empty business areas on the second level where perhaps in the future, there will be some boutiques selling ethnic crafts, like in the old West Side Bazaar. I hope. I'm guessing. Parking is on Niagara street, or side streets, and can be a little tricky during busy weekend hours. You might have to walk a little bit. There is no parking lot. Oh the food- yes it was very tasty! I tried the fried eggplant and the koshary rice dish (the national dish of Egypt) from Egyptian Bites. Both were delicious. Koshary is carb lovers paradise - layer of rice, vermicelli, pasta, garbanzo beans, fried onion, tomato sauce, seasoned with onion, garlic, vinegar with crushed pepper flakes to add a kick. Vegetarian dish. The owner of Egyptian Bites was kind and working hard to please his customers. He gave me a falafel as a sample while I was waiting. I wish him much success!

Absolutely love coming here. The restaurants are exquisite, the people who work there are helpful and happy to be helpful in picking your food. Every time I've been there, I walk out with leftovers and a smile.

They have recently added a few more businesses here and what I love about it is the open space and the ambiance. The last few times I was there I discovered a soul food spot and I can't wait to go back and try them again! Lol they also have a bar now which is great while you're waiting for your food! They only have beer and wine fyi. All in all the location for this establishment is perfect and I'm rooting for the small business that have found their home here, love it!

The new bazaar is a big improvement over the old one in many ways: bright, well-spaced seating; lots of tables; more restaurants. It was difficult to read the menus b/c they are all posted above each "restaurant" resulting in sore necks. It was also difficult to choose! Finally settled on the Malaysian restaurant, ordering the Lasko soup. What a delicious and satisfying choice! A hearty soup with lots of noodles, chicken, large shrimp, a hard boiled egg, and overall marvelous flavor. truly, good to the last drop.

Supper here last night. First time at the new location. Lovely space. Easy to see from outside and has a ramp approach as well as steps. Quite limited parking; so if you're driving here, best to plan your visit for less busy times. Light and bright inside, and clean. A nice place to lunch or sup, and sure to be a hit on some of our dark winter days. I bought food from three vendors. First was Orso Nero Pizza, I like trying new things and, because I'd never heard of a shishito pepper, that's what I ordered. I should've ordered pizza. Subsequent reading tells me they should have been blistered, have a little char on them to bring out the flavor. The plateful of peppers I was given had some tender peppers, but most seem to have been barely blanched. At the vendor next door to Orso Nero, I saw Fried Eggplant on the menu. Loving eggplant, I ordered that, too. It's probably just me who expects at least a little crispy when expecting fried, but I was disappointed by eggplant that had been cooked in sauce. Tasted good, though. The eggplant left me craving crunchy, so I got Fried Wonton at another vendor. Sorry I didn't get a photo of those beauties. No disappointment there. Next time, though, I will bring some kind of dipping sauce with me as they had only plum sauce. I wish I had started at the other end. After eating, I strolled around checking menus of other vendors. The vendor on the far left, Vietnamese I think, had an eggplant dish that sounded really good. Definitely going back another day. And next time I will make sure to get a slice of Go Nuts Cookie Pie from Manchester Baking . . .

This is a fun place to eat. The format is casual dining food court style with many delicious restaurants and nationalities from which to choose. I went with a friend and we shared our dishes. This place will be one I visit again.

This is one of the coolest places in the city! A food hall with international authentic cuisine from various countries around the world made by entrepreneurs somewhat newly located to the Buffalo area. The idea is that the new business owners build up a client base and learn how to operate a business in the hopes to graduate and open their own brick and mortar location. A win for everyone, especially for the people who get to try new foods. There is also space upstairs to offer seminars, cooking classes and events in the future. This brand new and larger location on Niagara street has more seating and food options than the original building on Grant Street and the other location on Main Street. Once you choose what you want you order it from that stall and get a beeper to pick up your food when it's ready. There are currently stalls featuring Korean, Vietnamese, Jamaican, Egyptian, Congolese, Italian, Malaysian, bubble tea and a bakery. I've sample a good amount of dishes from each stall and everything has been delicious. Prices are pretty reasonable and portions are also pretty large. There is space for a bar, which will hopefully open soon. And there is now a parking lot across the street. I highly recommend to anyone who likes to try international cuisines to come and check them out.

This was my first time coming here since the bazaar on grant st. It was so nice meeting and taking to some of the chefs & bakers of the places that had just opened or reopened here. Everyone was so helpful and gave great suggestions. There is lots of room to sit down and enjoy a meal or even go look around in the bookstore upstairs. I really enjoyed my Thai tea, oxtails, jerk wings, and lemon cookie! It was nice to be able to have all my favorite different thing together & all of it was so good! My friend got teriyaki chicken and loved it. We will definitely be back to visit soon!

I was a huge fan of the old west side bazaar and I'm happy to say that the new one did not disappoint either. I loved almost everything I've ever had here and I'm happy to say that I have visited 6 of the 7 restaurants here. The only one I haven't hit up yet is the Malkia African cuisine which has kept me at bay with higher prices than all other restaurants in the location. Let's start with my favorite (which is a bit unconventional) since it is ICE CREAM! I was surprised to see an Italian place in the location to begin because I always thought of Italian as more of a mainstream cuisine in the US than 'up and coming'. But I was blown away by the homemade pistachio ice cream that they make. I love ice cream with nuts (especially when they are still intact in the final product) and this ice cream felt like it was made for me! They also have a sweet basil with pine nuts flavor which was very refreshing and tasty as well. So if you are dining in west side bazaar, no matter where you get your main course, don't forget to grab the ice cream from Orso Nero for dessert. Bamboo ridge is technically Vietnamese but they had other cuisine options so I got Spicy noodles from them which was aptly named. I asked for extra spice and it was delivered. The portion size is huge so I ended up eating the delicious food in two sittings. The next noteworthy item is Scrambled ackee from Chef Bigwayne Jamaican cuisine. This is not a menu item but when I started talking to them about how I miss Ackee (a fruit from Jamaica but think more of an Avocado taste and scrambled eggs texture) but I can never find it without codfish (I'm a vegetarian), they said they can whip up something for me like a scrambled version of it (which is what I ate in Jamaica too) I was delighted. The final product was very satisfying and they just charged me the same price as veggie stew for it. I highly appreciate the helpful nature of the owners and the ability to accommodate vegetarian dietary restrictions. On a few other visits, I also tried the yellow koshary at the Egyptian bites which reminded me of lentil rice from home (read comfort food). The only issue was it took 30 minutes to get the food so hopefully the turnaround for food orders has improved. Phyu Thein Malaysian restaurant had decent Malaysian chow fun but I will probably try something else there next time. I heard the Malaysian place is much better for meat eaters. I also had the Kimchi bokkeumbap (Korean fried rice) which was alright. I very much appreciate the number of veggie options at the Korean place which is not common in other places. There is always something I can have at west side bazaar every time I go and I love that choice of variety. If you have not yet been to it, I strongly suggest you change that!

What a gem! It's a food court of Japanese, Egyptian, Korean, Burmese, Vietnamese, and American. Authentic variety in a shared space. Highly recommend!!

This was our first time visiting the new location of the West Side Bazaar. The new location does have limited street-only parking. You cannot park in the lot attached to the building or you will get towed. The new place is clean, bathroom facilities are clean, and there is a lot of seating area. The prices have gone up, but all restaurants in the country have raised their prices. This time, we went for the Malaysian food, which was very good. Upon ordering food, we were given vibrating devices and food was handed out shortly after. We look forward to coming back and trying some of the other food. I definitely prefer this location over the old location, though I wish parking was more plentiful.

Now with the new location, as well as the Downtown one, there are nearly a dozen local eateries and other other services to check out!

I really enjoyed the new location of the West Side Bazaar. There were so many different choices to pick from. We ended up ordered from Bamboo Ridge, which is Vietnamese. While we waited we were given pagers so you don't need to stand there and wait. Both dishes were delicious! We got bubble tea and the passion fruit with passion fruit bursting boba was yummy! I also got a rainbow sugar cookie from the bakery, which looked so cute and tasted great. There's two floors with a lot of seating to choose from. The only downsides are trying to read the menus and the parking. You have to find a lot down the street or find parking on Niagara Street. Overall it was a great experience though! Highly recommend and will be returning.

This is a community food court with a bunch of small businesses. If you are in Buffalo, for sure try and stop by and support the local community.

First of all, as a fellow previous refugee, it is amazing to see the majority of people from similar story as myself be able to share their culture's cuisines. This new Westside Bazar (Niagara Street) is very spacious compared to the 1st bazar located on Grant Street. One of my favorite places to eat in Buffalo as it offers food from several backgrounds. Service can be slower on some days since the space is shared amongst the food stall, it seems. Location is very convenient but finding parking can be challenging at times as there are no parking lot. Definitely will be one of my go-to places.

Huge selection of food options from many different cultural backgrounds. I got the bulgogi over rice. It was flavorful and a good portion for the price. Didn't take long for it to be ready. There is plenty of seating if you want to eat in

I love the new west side bazaar location on Niagara street. There is lots of seating available upstairs and downstairs. It's great having the option to try new food that I wouldn't otherwise get an opportunity to try. I ordered from the Bamboo Ridge (Vietnamese food). I split the chicken fried rice and beef flat rice noodle with a friend. Both were delicious. Large portions with lots of fresh toppings and perfectly cooked meat. The sauce on the beef flat rice noodle was very flavorful. We were given a pager so we could wait anywhere inside until our food was ready. My only complaint is the menus for each place was very small and hard to read from a distance. Some also did not offer a description of what each entree consisted of.

I was highly disappointed and afraid of the food I was served. I went to William's Kitchen Korean Comfort Food. I ordered the Spicy Pork dish that comes with rice, lettuce and an egg on top. I get my food served in closed container to when I open to look at my food, I am OVERWHELMED with the smell of SPOILED meat! It was clear and obvious the pork they "prepared" had was rotten, and smell ruined the whole dish. The rice smelled bad, the egg smelled bad, the fresh lettuce smelled bad, all because of the spoiled meat. Taking a lucky guess, they attempted to work off old food into the new batch and failed terribly. They are risking public health/safety for a dollar. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Great space, delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff! Definitely would love to visit again and try even more food while being able to have a good time & enjoy time with friends!

This is a great place to experience just some portion of Buffalo's ethnically diverse foods. It is a clean, family friendly environment offering a verity of different foods across 10 different countries in one area. Though it takes some time to get your food, it is all homemade fresh for you when ordered.

This was my first time at the West Side Bazaar, and it will definitely not be my last! I loved the Inside, it was small but reminded me of a mall but with all different restaurants. It was hard to choose what I wanted to eat, but that is all the more fun of it! My main entree was incredible. The noodles were flat and it was so savory. The Mango Sticky rice was very interesting, since it is normally made with white rice. The main thing I noticed was the black rice was not as sticky as the white, but it was more flavorful! I cannot wait to come back and try the African food next!

The West Side bazaar offers a number of different food options. This time I went for Thai. Pad Thai comes with plenty of noodles and a protein of choice. I picked the shrimp. You can choose for medium or really spicy. I picked spicy and did not regret it. The dish has a very nice level of hot. The portion size is generous. While I was waiting there was a presentation about the relocation plans going on. The plan is to move to a bigger building on Niagara Street. The renderings look nice, the bazaar will have more room too.

I loved both the old and now the new bazaar! This is such a great community asset and there is so many great things to try and explore. The staff of all the restaurants are super friendly and excited to share their foods with customers. The new bazaar has parking available up and down Niagara street and I think some available on site. There is a ton of parking on both levels as probably more businesses will be coming in the new building as time goes on. Loved the visit can't wait to come try all the different foods!

Excellent place to go if a group of friends are in the mood try something new. Food court type of setting. Several different options to choose from and everything was terrific. I recommend kimchi fried rice. Parking was not difficult to find.

Did not enjoy our Burmese dinner. The fish , the noodles, the soup. Will not visit again. Ended up parking on Delaware Ave and chippewa...that was fun...for take out...

Prices are a bit high, but it is a really great experience if you like innovative and authentic food from other countries, mostly in the continents of Asia and Africa. It's an interesting and innovative space where I think the food stands are all run and owned by recent immigrants. I had a noodle dish from Malaysia and it was excellent.

The ramyum was amazing. It's at the Korean stand! Spicy and delicious and is my go to every time.

This was my first time ever here. A BIG Thank You to Alex & the 3 restaurants that participated in the "Taste the World" journey. I probably never would've gone here if it weren't for YELP. First my son & I looked around a bit. First stop we made was the "007 Chinese Food". I received a free Black Bean Paste Bao. It was tasty. Next stop, Abyssinia for a FREE Vegetable Combo over rice. That was very yummy. 3rd stop ,Pattaya Street Food for a FREE Sesame Cookie. Yummy !! Then, we decided to get dinner from Thang's Family Japanese Ramen. I got the Spicy Chicken Ramen. It was perfectly spicy & the chicken just fell apart. It was soooo delicious. My son got the Chicken Katsu Don (Rice Bowl) & the Katsu Ramen. Both looked amazing !! Their prices are very good too & you get a lot. I will definitely be returning to the Bazaar for more of the same & I NEED to try the Garlic Noodles at the Rakhapura Mutee and Sushi restaurant. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is , the place is way too small. Very cramped. We were lucky enough to get a table & eat there,as business was dying down at that time of day. 1 restaurant was empty. And, there's only street parking, so it's not easy getting a close spot.

West Side Bazaar is awesome. I came on a Friday for lunch. Although many of the non-food stands were closed, all of the food stands were open. I got a pork bun from 007 Chinese Food, the vegetable combo from Abyssinia Ethiopian Cuisine, and a peach bubble tea from Pattaya Street Food. Everything was delicious, and everyone I interacted with was friendly. There were even a few tables to dine in, and food came out quickly as well. I can't wait to come here again!

Was treated very well by the owner. And food was great. I ordered the ox tails.Also try the restaurant pasta with goat for the first time at the chefs request. It was very good. My first time eating goat .Was a very good experience. I highly recommend this place.The Jamaica spot.Simply outstanding

There are so many food choices in this small, crowded area. This place is great, but makes me little bit nervous while ordering my meal. I've been to the West Side Bazaar many times. Each time I feel much better and braver checking all the menus. Standing too close to the heads of eating customers, I intensively think about what I should have. I want to eat everything and nothing at the moment of my uncertainty. But when I finally know from which part of the world I'll have my lunch or dinner, everything starts to be just fine and relaxing. Waiting for my order number to be called I like to look around and wonder what people are eating because everything looks good and I want the same. How exciting! It's always a good idea to start with some dim sums. Order them first, while you wait for the main dish. These nicely presented steamed goodies are brought to your table with a little plate and set of chopsticks. The last time I had simple shrimp dim sum. The little treat was good, with a mild taste of seafood. The Thai Beef Salad was simply delicious, so yummy! It came with a big pile of white rice and the portion was huge for not even $8. The combinations of spices were unique and unusual. It was rather spicy/hot but mix it with rice and create the taste that works best. You can swap beef for chicken or pork, your choice. I hope to go back to the the West Side Bazaar really soon and write about their food much more.

Great and diverse store/restaurants around Buffalo. A lot of small international store and restaurants service different countries food and products. Participated in the Yelp Taste the World event which led to try different restaurant food. Had the bean buns from 007 Chinese, local Ethiopian food and Vietnam desserts. Overall, great experience trying different countries food.

This was my first time here and I'll be back! I enjoyed Puerto Rican, Chinese and Japanese cuisine and bought a cute maxi skirt from one of the Vendors. I've been on a quest to discover more of what Buffalo has to offer this summer and this spot is a must-see for anyone who enjoys trying different food from multiple cultures. I had sushi, tostones, a Chinese pork ball, a barbecue chicken kabob and garlic toast (I brought home leftovers ;)) Everything was delicious and I can't wait to try Egyptian food the next time I'm there!

When is the last time you came here? For me it was today. I came with someone who hadn't been here before. But who has lived in Buffalo for longer than it's been open. So if you havnt been, come. Pick up a gift for someone. But yourself a present. Buy yourself lunch. Treat yourself to a sesame cookie. Or terrific dumplings. Or a smoothie. This place is a gem! I love that it's food court style with a variety of cuisine to match whatever mood you're in, as well as whom ever you decide to eat with. The pad Thai was delicious and the serving was enough for 2 meals. The boba tea did taste a bit powdery but was refreshing nonetheless. Can't wait to go back and try all the restaurants

Such a fun stop during a whirlwind visit to Buffalo. Big thanks to Alex L for introducing me to the West Side Bazaar. I'd had this stop bookmarked for quite some time and it served as the perfect lunch stop over the weekend. West Side Bazaar combines two of my favorite things: food halls (aka lots of options under one roof) and ethnic eats like Thai, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Chinese, Laotian, Mexican and more. It was wild to see how many flavors they could pack into such a small space with a smattering of a dozen tables. The space was bustling during our Saturday midday visit (plan B: carryout!). My feast included fried Lotus cookies from the Laotian booth, Khao Man Gai and black sticky rice with mango and coconut milk from the Thai booth. When I return next, I'll probably order the same thing all over again because it was FABULOUS! The space is not limited to eats. As you enter, you'll find around ten small booths filled with clothing, macrame, jewelry, decor and more. The smells wafting over from the food side will lure you over to the other side after strolling the shops.

Cool authentic food stalls with cuisines from around the world. A yummy and unique place to check out if you are in the buffalo area. Only tried the Mexican food stall but their chicken & cheese taco and beef & cheese taco was delicious! Also had their fresh chips with guacamole and queso and loved the thickness of the chips as well as the guacamole! The cheese dip was also very tasty but I had been expecting a white queso and not the yellow cheese dip we were served. It was still good!

As someone who has experienced a variety of cuisines (I live in NYC but travel), as well as someone who has experienced a variety of forms of customer service...West Side Bazaar exceeds them all! - they are also priced extremely well! It is important to note that, the food which you eat and the businesses which are a part of West Side Bazaar, are as authentic as they can be! Each business, whether it is the garments section or wood carvings, or the food and cuisines, are made/prepared by those who are actually from that particular country in the exact same style. West Side Bazaar is doing a fantastic thing, by not only helping immigrants escape poor living conditions with a chance at a new beginning but also allowing the people/tourists of Buffalo to experience the cuisine and culture these chefs and business owners grew up with! I have eaten food from each restaurant here, and I honestly cannot say something different about one from another...because THEY ARE ALL AMAZING! Not only is the food amazing, but the customer service is amazing as well! Each owner puts their heart and soul into the food they make, and I can literally taste it, as this is a quality of the food that I have never really tasted here in New York City, or anywhere else for that matter in the United States. I am super sad that my time visiting Buffalo has ended, but I do know for a fact that I will be back!

Nice new location on Niagara Street. Lots of different cuisine options in a cafeteria-like setting. I enjoyed the Beef Shawarma from "Egyptian Bites" and fried plantains from "Malkia & Co."

I give this place 5 stars because of the amount of options they offer. They offer everything from Dimsum food to Thai food to Mexican food. It's a nice place when you're looking for options. The place is half a clothing store and half a food court. They do not require tipping even though they basically bring you the food. However, you clean up after yourself. The cashier at nine&nite was very polite and was able to cater to my taste by excluding bean sprouts in my pork pad Thai. The pork pad Thai was pretty good, they have spice levels from 1-5, I got 4 and it wasn't super spicy but my friend who can't handle spice said it was too spicy. However, the food didn't have as much flavor as I'd like, so if I were only reviewing the food I'd give it a 4 star. We also ordered pork pad Thai, beef pad Thai, pork bun, butter chicken with jasmine rice, and veggie samosas. The butter chicken was okay, but I would not order it again, the pork bun, veggie samosas, and pad Thais; I would order again.

We stopped by here with some friends on Saturday after lunch at Pho Dollar across the street. It was around 2:30-3pm and the place was ridiculously busy! We went in and walked through the vendor stalls selling jewelry and accessories, etc. some of the stuff looked like homemade items but most of them looked like novelty items you could get from the 99c stores. After stopping at 2 of them for longer than 5 seconds and having the stall attendants stare at me intently while trying to oversell me on their stuff, I was a bit turned off and stopped looking and decided to move onto the food side. Sorry, but I just cannot shop with someone staring at me the entire time, it's me, not them. Moving on... it was hard to look at what the food stalls had to offer since it was so crowded in there. There were tables and people everywhere. I grabbed a menu from the Chinese dim sum place where they offered many of the typical Cantonese dim sum dishes but I couldn't quite tell if they actually make any of them in-house, or if they simply buy frozen ones and steam them up in those bamboo steamers. Because I can tell you right now that most of their menu items - I can go to the Chinese grocery store and find them all in the frozen sections and steam them right up. It's hard to imagine that the stall owners would have the time to source all the ingredients and hand-make everything, and still be able to make a profit off them. I'm not trying to be mean, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with frozen foods, but it would take A LOT more than that for me to want to elbow off the crowd and fight for a table to sit down and eat at, all the while still deal with all the people squeezing by looking and hanging over my food. Despite having absolutely no personal space, I decided to get a bubble tea from one of the stalls. All of the flavorings were powder including green tea milk tea- as in they put in green tea powder with hot water to make it, instead of mixing real green tea with milk to make it. They also don't do the "shake" part of the bubble tea, which - for those of you who aren't familiar with authentic bubble tea - is part of the deal! Perhaps it's not fair since I'm Taiwanese and bubble tea is kinda my thing, but it was definitely the worst bubble tea I've had in a really long time, and reminds me of the 90s when bubble tea was terrible everywhere outside of Taiwan. What saved the day were the lotus flower cookies I also decided to get from the bubble tea stand. They looked so pretty I just had to try them, and now I wish I got more! According to my quick google search - they're a traditional Thai dessert cookie, and are typically made with rice flour, coconut milk, black sesame seeds, etc. I haven't been able to find ready-made ones online - just a bunch of recipes and brass molds to make them with, but I plan on searching the local Asian grocery stores for them, or come back here and get more if I'm in the area again. I understand that this place is for the refugees and backed by charities, so I gave them an extra star for that, but purely from what I have seen and tasted, this would not be a place I'm in any hurry to return to. Perhaps I will change my mind in the future once I've had a chance to try the various food stalls, but for now, i give it a 2.5-3.
