Google
Great food, I got the parish burger, if you like red onions its a great burger. My dads steak and frites were the highlight of the table, super tender and juicy and fries were fluffy and crunchy. The Smoked chicken and waffles were great as well. Very nice environment, we could all talk without any issues. Very much recommend for a family or even a big party

Google
I had the catfish and chips. It was amazing! My friend had the gumbo I tried it it was great. They hands down have the best hush puppies I've ever had in my life. I really don't think I've had a hush puppy until visiting here cuz it was different and amazing. The service was amazing in the atmosphere is incredible. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for genuine Cajun Creole food!

As someone born in New Orleans, I can promise that The Parish is one of the best restaurants in Tucson for scratch-made, Southern-inspired food with a bold Cajun twist! This locally-owned gastropub delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and cocktails. The drinks were impressive. The Sister Lost Soul (Tucson’s 2024 City of Gastronomy Cocktail of the Year) was smooth and layered, while the Mrs. KC Mule, made with house-infused strawberry basil vodka, elderflower, and ginger beer— was refreshing and bright. We started with the Black & Blue Brussel sprouts, which had a great kick from the seasoning and blueberry hot sauce—crispy, smoky, and addictive. The Cast Iron Cornbread was fresh from the oven, perfectly crunchy on the outside with cinnamon and honey shining through, served with sweet bourbon butter. The Gumbo was hearty and deeply satisfying and the added Crawfish perfectly cooked. And the Drunken Angel pasta—Burgundy angel hair with shrimp, crawfish, lobster broth, saffron cream, and parmesan—was absolutely fantastic! For dessert, the bread pudding was warm, rich, and decadent—the perfect to end to a Louisiana meal. Our server Shawn was wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. My water glass was never empty. The Parish nails it with eclectic vibe, warm service, and unforgettable food. If you’re searching for where to eat in Tucson, this is it! Highly recommend!

Google
Had an amazing experience! The food was amazing! Great atmosphere. We had a private party & utilized the section in the back. Such a fun place with the decor authentic to NOLA. We had amazing service. Raymond was great!! Definitely recommend & we will be back!

Sharon “Tica”

Google
I had mixed feelings about my experience at The Parish. The food was definitely the highlight, everything I ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in the dishes they serve. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. Our server wasn’t very attentive, we waited quite a while to get her attention multiple times throughout the meal. It felt like we were forgotten at points, which took away from the overall experience. The atmosphere was okay nothing particularly memorable, but not unpleasant either. With some improvements in service and a little more energy in the dining space, this place could be a solid go to.

Google
So amazing there! Best 🤫 hushpuppys ever! They don't play with chilli Nashville chicken sandwich 😋 & Carolina pulled pork sandwich the black & blue brussel sprouts so good nice kick 🦶!

Cara Mancuso

Google
Our server was super attentive and everybody loved their food. The blueberry sauce with the brussels sprouts was exquisite. My salad alone was incredible with their garlic dressing. The plate was so vibrant. Our other guests loved their rice and beans. It was exactly what they wanted.

Google
After receiving so many glowing recommendations about this place I had to try it out for myself. I am glad I did. I arrived before closing time without a reservation. I didn't have to wait long before I was seated. The food, service and atmosphere was good. I would definitely go back again!

Yelp
Whenever we are in Tucson, my husband and I make a point of dining at the Parish at least twice. The food is always delicious and generously portioned. The eclectic ambiance and outstanding service, immediately helps us downshift, setting the stage for an enjoyable meal and start to our vacation. On this visit, we made reservations for the Tuesday Seafood Boil, which we highly recommend. But on our previous visit, we enjoyed the Pei Mussels, Beer Battered Catfish, Guedry's Gumbo, and Smokin' Angel - all appetizers and main courses were mouthwatering! And the Parish cocktails are far from ordinary. The only issue I have is that they don't offer light dessert options. After a filling meal, bread pudding and Pickle Berry pie are just too heavy. A scoop of sorbet or thin wedge of key lime pie, would be the perfect way to end a satisfying meal on a sweet note!

Yelp
Nice, clean and so delicious. I had the steak and frits with bourbon sauce. This steak beats red lobster & Texas Roadhouse combined. My server Rayne C. was exceptional and friendly. I've been looking for a better steak and I found it by chance after shopping Hobby Lobby and making a U turn on Orange Grove and thought I'll try that. Glad I did. I will return. The prices were good too. I've paid more than that at least places. Interesting menu I'd call eclectic and different from everyone else. Love this place! Try it and you'll see!

Yelp
Sat at the bar for cocktail hr! Me and a friend came after her suggestion. Service was fantastic at the bar despite the pink haired gal being all alone. I do not remember her name but she was great. Not too pushy and had great recommendations. They do wine Wednesday with half off bottles. Tried a few but none spoke to us. The bacon popcorn was awesome. I wish there was more bacon but the flavor was great. Hush puppies also delicious. I've never had gumbo so I was going in blind with the happy hrs cup. It tasted smokey, well seamed with tender melty pieces of turkey or chicken. There was a lot of heat which I assume came from green chiles and was delicious. Great happy hr offerings and I would definitely come back!

Yelp
Rates No. #66 on Yelp's list Travis Peters - former Executive Chef of The Parish & Iron Chef winner makes this a must visit here in Tucson. Huge shout out to our super amazing waiter, Raymond. He showed us the back of his tee that read....Punk Rock Inspired Cuisine with Southern Hospitality. He recommended the Drunken Angel which is the dish that won the Iron Chef competition. The Angel hair is cooked in Burgundy which gives it that rich red color. We never had anything like this before. My son loved it. We also got the Guedry's Gumbo. Had to add the 4 shrimps for $6 extra. Come on, can't have gumbo without shrimp. This was my fave. My son wanted Hot Legs Le' Jean (frogs legs wrapped in bacon). Legs were juicy and succulent. Spooky gothic decor which is interesting given what the name of the place is called. We sat next to a painting with two girls staring at us. Lol. And did I mention how frickin awesome Raymond is? The best!! Reservations are recommended.

Yelp
Moved to Tucson and was looking for a good spot to celebrate selling my house. This place is adorable. Love the decor, casual vibe and excellent food. Service is top notch. Had the steak and frites and it was cooked medium rare like I asked and was delicious. The hand cut fries are fantastic and fresh. The shrimp and cheese grits was savory and comfort food at its finest. Wasn't a fan of the bread pudding but enjoyed every last crumb of the berry pie. The blue corn bread is moist and cooked and served in a cast iron skillet. Loved that with the cinnamon honey butter. It paired nicely. Had the frog legs and they were good. The Parish burger with the red onion marmalade is flavorful and I find myself craving it. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Another great dinner at this establishment. we had our usual gumbo and drunken Angel pasta. Service was a tad slower than usual but eventually she got it done.

Yelp
So good! Went here awhile ago with my momma and we both got the pulled pork pibil. Great, fast service around lunch time. Cool decor throughout the restaurant- super quirky, loved the vibe. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was just what we wanted! I made a reservation a few days before so we were seated promptly on a Friday night! Our drinks were perfect. I got the Mrs. KC mule, and my husband got a Sazerac and the specialty drink that was Tucson City of Gastronomy certified. All of them were fantastic! For dinner, we had the cornbread and frog legs as appetizers, and my husband got the parish burger. All of our items were delicious! The cornbread was some of the best I had ever had. I had the mesquite salmon salad and like other reviewers have said, it was some of the best salad I've had in Tucson! The decor and ambiance really added to the food as well. We will be back!

Yelp
The Parish is a must go for anyone who enjoys good food. I tend to be generous with 5 star reviews but this place deserves a couple more. We were a party of 5 from out of town. The service was great. Raymond our server was top notch with great understanding of the menu and with suggestions. Cornbread- delicious x OMG. Hush puppies- Best Ever! Chicken & Waffles like we've never had 6 stars. Gumbo comes with hush puppies was amazing. The drunken angle pasta also delicious. Someone also had a salad that was very large and looked real fresh. Ended with the bread pudding. Also delicious. Highly recommend this place!!! Will definitely be back next time we're in town

Yelp
Who would've thought that they could do Cajun in the desert with great oysters and gumbo with shrimp and crawdads. Food was amazing. Service was really great. My server was Hawaiian, which was kind of strange, she's here for college. The ambience is what you expect kind of purples and pinks and weird stuff on the wall and jars full of ingredients in the bar. I got the gumbo add crawdads and shrimp a nice beer and red beans and rice with some Paris France absinth to top it off. The oysters were great and the spices on top of them really set them off.
google avatar

Jenni J.

Yelp
So good! The skillet cornbread was delicious. The gumbo was hearty and smokey, and not too spicy. We loved the shrimp & grits -- unique presentation with the fried grit cake instead of a soupy bowl of grits, and the flavor was amazing. Make sure you save space for the bread pudding! It comes warm with caramel sauce and a very generous scoop of vanilla whipped cream. The mule mocktails was delicious. Service was friendly, fast and helpful.

Yelp
It took us a while to make a reservation here. That made me more curious; there must be something really good going on here. When we got there, the place wasn't even busy. They had a few tables open. The place is okay, probably a Southern-themed place, as I can describe it. Our server was good, very accommodating. The food is kind of pricey, with a very small menu. But we loved their cocktails, that's for sure. My husband loved their bread pudding; I think that's why this place is always busy--they have a small menu, and they made sure they perfected what they are offering.

Yelp
This was a pretty cool spot! It was described by our waiter as "Southern Cajun Fusion Inspired with an Arizona twist". The ambiance was pretty neat with decor that took you to an old rock n roll themed speakeasy. We started our meal with the cast iron cornbread. It was good! The "fusion" here was that the cornbread was sweet, unlike southern cornbread which tends to be more savory. For the entrees, we tried the Steak Frites (added shrimp) and the Drunken Angel pasta. The steak and shrimp were delicious!! The frites brought the dish down in my opinion... not awesome. The drunken angel pasta was recommended to us by our waiter and was described as a twist on a seafood Alfredo. They cook the pasta in red wine, so the noodles come out purple. The sauce is a cheesy Alfredo like cream sauce. The flavor was good, but very rich. The red wine really pushed the flavor profile and made the dish "different" but also made it a bit too rich to make a whole meal out of. Again, delicious flavor! But too rich for a whole meal - I would recommend maybe sharing this. Overall, it was a good experience! We would give it another shot.

Yelp
Was in the area, mainly interested in the cornbread. There was no wait for seating. The bulk of customers during the afternoon were older, probably retired. The restaurant was Very peaceful! I ordered the cast iron cornbread and the drunken angel. I don't know how to describe the cornbread, it wasn't yellow, looked more like blueberry, but the taste was amazing! (It wasn't blueberry). I highly enjoyed the cornbread here. The drunken angel was a bit rich for me. They did tell me the noodles are cooked in wine, which was interesting. The noods definitely tasted like wine. Not what my taste buds wanted I suppose. I would have love to try one of their drinks but I was working. I'd definitely return, wanted to try the red beans and rice. The waiter was very polite and knowledgeable. He knew everything on the menu and how it was made! He was a great help!

Yelp
We had a large party of 11 and were given a private seating area. It was nice! Drinks were yummy! I've been here before. Food always hits the spot. I ordered pork rinds as a an app for extra crunch! Gumbo with shrimp is a must! We all loved our food. Service was nice. Love the eccentric ambiance here
google avatar

Iris R.

Yelp
SLAPPING! That's really all I need to say. The hushpuppies 10/10. I'd go back just for the hushpuppies to be honest. The shrimp and grits were also delicious. The grit cake was the perfect size. And when paired with the shrimp, collard greens and the creole sauce makes one of the best dishes that I've had in a long time. The mixture of the textures and flavors was so good. I'll be visiting this place again the next time that I am in Tucson.

Yelp
The Parish is incredible. Their shrimp and grits has fried grits, the flavor of everything was exceptional. Bacon popcorn, yes please!! Brussels delish!!!

A must try in Tucson! Enjoyed some of the appetizers and a few cocktails.Tey the bacon wrapped frog legs and the black and blue Brussels sprouts !!

Yelp
It's been six years since I last dined in at The Parish, and I'm thrilled to say the experience has only gotten better. From the moment you walk in, the ambience sets the tone--warm, inviting, and perfect for a date night or casual hangout. Service is smooth and attentive, and the food arrives faster than expected, which is always a plus. Here are my top recommendations from the current dinner menu: Black & Blue Brussels (5/5 stars) A standout appetizer. These Brussels sprouts are grilled to perfection, with a bold blend of tangy and sweet flavors. The seasoning is spot-on, and the char adds a smoky depth that makes each bite memorable. Cast Iron Cornbread (4/5 stars) Served hot in a skillet, this cornbread is rich and comforting. The bourbon butter melts into the bread, adding a sweet, boozy kick that makes it ideal for sharing. A Southern classic with a twist. Watermelon Salad (5/5 stars) MUST TRY. This isn't your average salad--it's a flavor and texture playground. The crispy pork belly contrasts beautifully with the juicy watermelon, while fresh blueberries, blackberries, candied pecans, goat cheese, and spicy tamarind vinaigrette elevate it to something truly special. The chefs clearly understand how to balance sweet, savory, and spicy in one dish Drunken Angel (5/5 stars) Still a showstopper after all these years. Burgundy angel hair pasta is bathed in a creamy red pepper sauce and topped with shrimp and crawfish, all enriched by a lobster broth and saffron. It's indulgent and best shared unless you're ready for a rich solo feast Chicken & Waffle (5/5 stars) This dish is a masterclass in Southern comfort. The mesquite-smoked, cinnamon Creole-rubbed chicken is juicy and flavorful, paired with a grilled elote waffle and cracked black pepper vanilla butter. Every element is thoughtfully executed Overall, what sets this restaurant apart is its ability to elevate familiar dishes through creative use of textures and bold, unexpected flavor pairings. It's Southern fusion done right--refined without losing its soul.

Yelp
Fantastic. Had the shrimp and grits and added sausage, served with a rich and flavorful sauce and a large serving of collars greens. Sausage was sliced perfectly thin and shrimp were medium sized. Also had the cornbread, which is cooked and served in a mini cast iron skillet. This cornbread is different than others and has a sweet touch. The star of the show was the order of hushpuppies. Perfectly fried and textured, served with some kind of sauce whose flavor we couldn't figure out, we'd go back simply for this shareable plate.
google avatar

Lexi S.

Yelp
I ordered the blackberry cream soda, hot legs le' jean, and the smokin' angel. The latter was a little too smokin' for my palate and something about that mesquite smoked tomato sauce was just off-putting. The appetizers and drinks here have always been pretty solid, and I liked being able to finally cross frog legs off my culinary bucket list. Of the handful of times I've been here I am just consistently left unsatisfied from one menu item or another. They've got southern comfort down to a tee, and the service is always phenomenal. Disclaimer: maybe I am not a soul food person.
google avatar

Vanessa T.

Yelp
Updated review...I still keep coming here and the food is still five stars. The shrimp and grits is one of my favorites along with the drunken angel pasta. I truly LOVE this restaurant.
google avatar

Danielle J.

Yelp
Who would've thought this Louisiana girl would find incredible Cajun food all the way in Tucson?! Raymond took care of us and was as warm and welcoming as they come. I had the red beans and rice with andouille sausage, absolutely spot-on. My husband ordered the Carolina pulled pork, and the kitchen went above and beyond to make him a custom papaya vinaigrette slaw to accommodate his allergies. My son had the shrimp gumbo and loved every bite. Everything was flavorful, hearty, and cooked to perfection. The homemade Arnold Palmers (sweet tea and lemonade) were the perfect refreshment, and the hush puppies? Fried perfectly and immediately addicting We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in town!
google avatar

Bethany A.

Yelp
We were in town and wanted to try something local. Pleasantly surprised with how food the food was. The jambalaya was a little spicy but so delicious. My favorite thing was the cornbread and hushpuppies. I am obsessed now with hushpuppies. My husband got the seafood angel hair pasta and it was packed with seafood. The service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive The ambiance was eclectic but cute! I'm sure we'll come back if we're ever in town again
google avatar

Yelp
Funky interior full of vibe, and the food was pretty great. Very surprised by their cocktails, so unique and spot on. Their gumbo was good (not great), the hush puppies amazing, and the bacon popcorn interesting. I'd recommend this!

Yelp
A friend recommended The Parish prior to our trip to Tucson. What a wonderful restaurant. The decor and ambiance is absolutely wonderful. It does not look like a big restaurant from the outside, but when you walk in, it's pretty big and there is even a nice private dining space in the back. The food was exceptionally delicious. So delicious we went to The Parish twice during our vacation. The service was spot-on! The first visit, our waitress recommended La Verdad drink. Oh my goodness! It was amazing!! I totally recommend it. Run, don't walk, to The Parish!!
google avatar

Yelp
Exceptional food with welcome service! Raymond and Nate made us feel right at home! What a treat! Started with the blue corn skillet cornbread- great texture, delicious butter served hot. Definitely a hit! Hubby enjoyed the shrimp and grits-savory and satisfying. Huge portions plenty to take home. I had the Drunken Angel Pasta and it was umami and perfectly balanced.

Yelp
I loved this place. The interior is charming, funky, and old New Orleans style. The menu is terrific. I've only been here once, but there are a dozen things I would love to try. My wife had the steak and Frites and they were excellent. I had the Poboy with catfish and hush puppies. Terrific. On top of that, the waiter (I think he is an owner) was charming and efficient. And they had good beer. Honestly, this place is a little gem and, if you're in the neighborhood, you owe it to yourself to try it. Oh yeah. Our guest had the burger and she loved it. Don't miss the garlic sauce or the tartar sauce. They make the meal.

Yelp
Earlier this year, we came here to celebrate Father's Day. During the beginning of November, my son, selected the Parish to celebrate his 19th birthday. We love this place and it is easily one of my top choices to dine in Tucson. The service, ambiance, and food are exceptional. For an appetizer, we had the Hot Legs Le' Jean (Black pepper and horseradish rubbed frog legs wrapped in bacon, with creole remoulade; Gluten Free) as my son never had frog legs before. They were amazingly memorable. My son also enjoyed his chicken and waffle. For the main dish, I had the Drunken Angel, and my mom had the Smokin' Angel. Both had so much flavor. As my wife has a shellfish allergy, our waiter was able to accommodate a selection of the lunch menu. Thank you for that act of kindness. She also enjoyed the mocktail, the Spiced Cinnamon Apple Mule. The Parish has my highest recommendations!

Yelp

Yelp
I want to start out by saying I've been to New Orleans a half dozen times and love traditional creole cuisine. We were visiting Tucson from NY and found this restaurant online and decided to give it a try. The vibe inside is so cool and relaxing and the wait staff was very nice and attentive. We ordered the hush puppies and for my entree I ordered the shrimp and grits, and my husband ordered their steak and frites. I have never had food as good as this place. The flavors were absolutely wild and incredible. The grits were like a grit cake surrounded by a thick rue and the shrimp were large and nice and hot. My entree was so good I almost teared up which is hilarious but so true. I tried my husband's steak and it was perfectly cooked and the sauce on top was delicious. Our cocktails were very good as well. To end the meal we tried their berry pie, which wasn't my favorite but that's just down to personal preference. The pie was fresh and flavorful. I honestly can't wait to visit Arizona again just to go back to this restaurant. 10/10!!!

Yelp
My first time here at least for sitting down. The food was decent. We tried a variety of food.. The black and blue Brussels were pleasantly sweet. However, I could only eat a small amount of it. The cornbread was okay. It was a little on the drier side for my taste. It also did not have a lot of flavor. I mainly tasted butter so I would rate it a 6/10. I tried the Guedry's Gumbo with Chicken, Andouille sausage, rice, and added crawfish. It came with hush puppies. The gumbo was good 8/10. The service was decent. It was slow at first. Then we did finally get service. Ambiance was small but cozy.

Yelp
We visited for dinner on Sunday night and received excellent service. I had tried several times to confirm whether we needed a reservation since the online system showed no availability, but no one answered the phone. We decided to take a chance and came in, and there was plenty of seating available. We both really enjoyed the frog legs, Brussels sprouts (which had a nice kick), as well as the salmon and trout. I highly recommend all of these dishes! The rice that accompanies the fish dishes is spicy, but you can substitute it for regular rice if you prefer. I found the Manzanita a bit sweet for my taste. The Jalisco was good but quite spicy. The Summer Sipper was also too sweet for my liking.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
We found by accident and was some of the best restaurants in Tucson. Our service was impeccable and was so great at recommending dishes and wine pairing we came back the next day. Ambiance is very eclectic New Orleans it felt like we were there. Amazing wine selection and 1/2 off wine specials on Tuesdays. Highly recommend

Yelp
This place is pretty cool. Not like they need another good review but here we go lol I'm in town visiting family and wanted a place to dip out by myself. Cute New Orleans vibe. Love the chandeliers and decor. Wait to sit outside was a little long so I got a nice spot at the bar to look out the window. The bartender was a doll. So helpful and attentive. I got the bacon popcorn. Two of my favorite things. So good. Also got the drunken angel. Burgundy pasta with crawfish and shrimp with a lobster, saffron and red pepper cream sauce. I can't even. I live by Chicago. I've never heard of burgundy pasta. Why?! Didn't take pics because I was super hungry lol
google avatar

Yelp
Can't believe it took me this long to eat here, but it was worth the wait. We enjoyed the black and blue Brussels, Johnny steak and fries, and the Drunken Angel pasta. All were delicious, and really good size portions. It looks like they have a decent happy hour deal, so we'll definitely return to try that next time.

Yelp
It was my second time being here and was a great experience. The food is great and the service is great. Very cool atmosphere. We had the NY Strip and it was really good. My friend had the bacon wrapped frog legs and really enjoyed them. The chicken and waffle were excellent. The Doctor cocktail is one of my favorites. I crave the hush puppies, they're so good!

Annette J.

Yelp
I haven't had much experience with southern/ creole food, but we finally went to this much touted restaurant and weren't disappointed. Oh. My. Gosh! The food was amazing, from the hush puppies to the Gumbo, & my fav, The Drunken Angel! Our friend had The Parish Burger & said it was the best burger she's ever had. Great service in a relaxed, not overdone, basic atmosphere.

Almist forgot the brussel sprout appetizer wuth some kind of candied nuts...5 out of 5! Raymond or waiter was the bombest most chill waiter everrr! Raymond you never brought back that special hot sauce you got me hyped about! Anyway this place was the highlight of our trip un AZ. Do yourself a favor and eat there...twice! 5 out of 5.

Yelp
Wow! Smoked 1/2 chicken with an elite waffle , WHAT! It was amazing n huge! The Smokey flavor of the chicken was completely unexpected to this capacity. I don't even like waffles but the special butter on it and how unique n delicious the food always is here I had to try it!! Highly recommend

Yelp
Our first time at the Parish and it certainly lives up to the hype. Had the relleno appetizer which was rich and delicious. Then my husband and I shared the house salad which was huge! We had leftovers which were still fresh the next day. For an entree we shared the drunken angel which was wonderful!!! Our server, Raymond, was attentive, thoughtful and always showed up at just the right times. Thanks, Raymond! We had a lovely time and will be back in February which we're next in Tucson.

Yelp
This is a cute little place in Tucson where it feels like Louisianna! The place is decorated like that area and the dishes are thoughtfully prepared using recipes straight from the bayou it seems. I was very excited to indulge in some excellent food and great drinks! I will certainly be back again to try something more. The bartender and other waitstaff really took their jobs seriously and we're all about great customer service.

Yelp
This past Saturday my group had dinner at The Parish. There were 12 of us. We are somewhat noisy, so it was a good thing they put us in their private room. The room was very well decorated with old-fashioned antiques and an old piano. The dining table was square and seated 12 diners quite comfortably. It was wonderful to be able to see everyone and converse easily. The menu ranged from Creole, Cajun and Southern food selections. The only disappointment was they only served their po boys for lunch, which a few in our party were looking forward to ordering. Nonetheless everyone found something delicious to order. Everyone shared the black and blue brussel sprouts which were covered in black and blue berry hot sauce, they were fabulous! All of us loved them. The chicharrons were also very good. Several in our group ordered the catfish which everyone agreed was delicious. Others raved about the shrimp and grits they ordered. The salads, specifically the watermelon salad, was also very good. One of our diners ordered Johnny steak & frites and was surprised at the large portion size of the steak. She said it was cooked to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The wait staff were very attentive and patient as we were a large and boisterous group. It took us all some time to decide what to order. However, our waitress took it all in stride. They were happy to split the checks for each dining couple, which some restaurants refuse to accommodate. Everyone should try this place for lunch or dinner. It was a great experience with great food.

Yelp
The ambiance is lovely, the decor and lighting make it feel comfortable and close. The food was phenomenal. I had the frog legs, burger, and pickle berry pie, and I think the only thing I didn't like was the horseradish cooked between the bacon and the frog legs, overpowered it a bit, but that could just be me. The burger was so good and I finally found a place that serves bacon crispy!! The pie was equally amazing and tart. Service was incredibly kind as well, I had a great time and will be back!

Yelp
The Frog Legs were very interesting and tasty. Like someone on here has warned though, there are bones on the inside so be careful not to chomp too hard immediately, haha. I know it seems common sense, but due to the way it is presented, they do not look like frog legs (thank goodness) so it might not be so intuitive. My boyfriend stated he loved the Gumbo a lot. Meanwhile, I enjoyed my meal of the Cat Fish as well. Ambiance and Service: We went during dinner and the ambiance was great with all the lights. An older couple was seated beside us and one of them accidentally spilled a drink, and the staff were incredibly quick and happy to help. It was heartwarming to see how kind everyone was to one another. I had a wonderful date at this restaurant overall.

Yelp
We've visited The Parish about seven times over the past three years and have never had a bad meal. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is always top-notch. By pure chance, we've had Lawson as our server all but once, and if you're lucky enough to sit in his section, trust his recommendations. He takes the time to understand your preferences and makes thoughtful suggestions for appetizers, entrées, and drinks. Our go-to appetizers are the PEI mussels--the chorizo broth really sets them apart--and the blue corn bread. That said, the hushpuppies are also fantastic. If you're especially hungry, the steak and frites is a great choice, with a well-balanced sauce. My personal favorite is the shrimp and grits. Tonight, I took Lawson's advice and added andouille--it was next level. The grits are served as a fried cake with a perfect crunch that holds up to the sauce, and the collard greens on the side strike just the right balance of porky salt and vinegar. My daughter loves their gumbo, and adding crawfish makes it a substantial portion. Keep in mind that it comes with a side of hushpuppies, so you might want to skip them as an appetizer. My wife is a big fan of their salad with salmon, as well as the salmon entrée. Meanwhile, my son tends to go for the pulled pork or the burger--both are delicious, and in our experience, the burger is always cooked just right. This isn't light fare, and you'll likely leave with leftovers--but that's never a bad thing!

Yelp
Finally got to try this place! I'm sure most Tucsonans know how good this place is so i will keep my review nice and short. But I MUST recognize the absolutely fantastic service. Unfortunately I forgot her name(sorry) but she was working on Sunday as a server and a bartender. Such a delightful girl!!!! As for food, they definitely did not disappoint! I had watermelon salad, which I've been wanting to try for the longest. It was delicious! A bit spicy for my taste so next time I will ask for dressing on the side. Also had Drunken Angel, which was amazing! I can't wait to go back and try more items!!
