Where to Eat in Copenhagen | Bon Appétit

"Owned by Richard Hart in partnership with Noma, Hart Bageri nails pastries and bread — the cardamom bun is a standout, made by showering scraps of exquisitely laminated croissant dough with cardamom sugar and smooshing them into a muffin tin (think a Kierkegaard-refined pull-apart monkey bread); none of Hart’s pastries will let you down, and his bread is excellent too." - ByMacKenzie Chung Fegan

Love, love, loved the cardomom croissant, melts in your mouth and has so much flavour. The servic was really good and quick and the coffee also tasted great. Had a really nice vibe inside and I wanted to try all the cakes.

Good place for a quick and sweet breakfast on a Sunday morning. The vanilla bolle was super delicious, and the cinnamon twist was also worth of 5 stars. However, we also decided to try the BMO, and it was definitely not on the same level as the two pastries. It was a little bit too dry and not very savoury (don’t know if it was due to the cheese type or if they are now saving on the amount of butter they use). Nevertheless, I still recommend this place if you are staying on one of the hotels nearby (but just stick to the sweet stuff here 😁).

The best Croissant (cardamom Croissant) I've had and i did have quite a lot of Croissants having traveled some 28 countries. I wanted to mention "one of the best" but im trying to remember how many were nicer than this one. The filter coffee was good. We also took a vanilla custurd pastry, Croissant & Tebirkes for the journey ahead and all of those were amazing. The place was cozy, the staff was humble and took time to give me recommendations I asked for

This is THE first place I went after I touched down and HAD to get the cardomom croissant. Giving it a 50/10 if I can, it’s THAT good that I had to pack 5 of it to bring home to share with my family and friends. Came back a few times afterwards and honestly the service there is top notch, coffee is amazing and just the ambience is great too! Can’t wait to be back!

Greeted upon arrival and quickly served. We ordered a croissant, chocolate chip cookies, a latte and a cold brew on ice. Service was friendly and helpful; suggested cold brew over the iced Americano I initially ordered. The cold brew was amazingly smooth. So, I'm glad I went with the suggestion. The croissant was not overly flaky, yet the crumb was beautiful and soft. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was chewy with a good amount of chocolate and the perfect sprinkle of salt.

Hart Bageri is definitely worth a visit ! Loved the vibe of the place . the cardamom croissant was great, but the tomato feta & olive pastry was the real star. I’d happily come back again just for that 💙

Perhaps the best cardamom croissant I’ve ever had. The cinnamon twist is also exceptional.
