Stylish rooms, rooftop bar & restaurant, bakery, deli & grocery

"Set on one of London’s most stylish streets, I found Boundary Shoreditch to be a boutique, design-obsessed hotel of just 17 meticulously designed rooms that channels East London’s raw energy while delivering unapologetic luxury; its split-personality dining — a bold rooftop bar with skyline views and a street-level brasserie known for Sunday roasts — makes it feel less like a conventional hotel and more like an attitude where art, culture and design collide." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

"Escape the streets of Shoreditch on a warm evening and head to The Boundary Project, where the chic rooftop features both an outdoor terrace and a glass-covered orangery for all-weather enjoyment. But before the night descends into a rosé-tinted haze, order snacks like charcuterie, skewers from the robata grill or a chic seafood platter for two." - Daisy Meager

"A Shoreditch restaurant taken over by new owners and renamed to align with the hotel that houses it; the kitchen is now betting on seasonal British meats and fish to position itself alongside high-profile neighbourhood peers." - James Hansen

"The Boundry Project Despite launching on New Year’s Eve in 2008, Sir Terence Conran’s boutique hotel is a discreet affair. The Boundary was the first hotel project by the eminent octogenarian British designer and his partner, Peter Prescott, but the inexperience doesn’t show. This is a very polished place that revolves—as you might expect from a furniture-obsessed restaurateur—around good food and seamless design. From the street, you’d barely know a hotel existed. The focus is on the busy, brasserie-style Albion restaurant, whose tables pour out onto the pavement, and the adjoining grocery store, bakery, and cake counter. But that’s not to say the rooms are an afterthought. Hidden away in the upper floors of a handsome Victorian warehouse on London ’s Redchurch Street are 17 distinctly designed rooms that brim with custom-made furniture, handmade beds, and a splash of eye-catching art. All are flooded with light through large sash windows and take their cue from leading designers such as Charles & Ray Eames, Le Corbusier & Charlotte Perriand, and Mies Van Der Rohe. For those who believe good design should blend effortlessly into its environment, this is the place to stay."

"For those missing out on the Shoreditch House's private member's rooftop and pool next door, The Boundary Hotel comes to the rescue with a rooftop bar and restaurant that's open year-round, under a canopy of grape vines, no less. You'll also find a kitchen garden upstairs, along with an outdoor lounge that's set around a wood-burning chimney, ideal for a lazy afternoon in good weather. Being part of Terence Conran's empire guarantees that everything from the Mediterranean food, to the wicker furniture in the rooftop lounge, is in great taste."
